Abstract
本发明提供一种异构网络中的小区选择方法及装置。在包括第一类基站和第二类基站(其中第一类基站的覆盖范围大于第二类基站)的无线通信系统中为一个用户设备选择服务小区的方法包括以下步骤:1.为用户设备选择一个候选小区(S1);2.确定候选小区是否为第一类基站的小区(S2);3.如果候选小区是第一类基站的小区,则确定来自与候选小区属于相同站点的相邻小区以及来自候选小区之内的一个可用的第二类基站的接收信号质量是否满足预定条件(S3);4.如果满足预定条件,则将可用的第二类基站的小区确定为用户设备的服务小区(S4)。采用本发明中的技术方案,可以平衡第一类基站和第二类基站的通信负荷。
