The invention discloses a method for determining the neighbor cell priority in neighbor cell planning, which comprises the following steps: obtaining the covering radius and a covering circle center coordinate of each cell according to the longitude, the latitude and the direction angle of each cell of the assembly of a main cell and a candidate neighbor cell; obtaining the covering and overlapping indexes of all the cells and main cells in the assembly of the candidate neighbor cell according to the covering radius and the covering circle center coordinate of each cell; and determining the cell priority in the assembly of the candidate neighbor cell according to the covering and overlapping indexes. Technical Field
The invention relates to a neighbor cell planning technology in a cellular mobile communication system, in particular to a method and a device for determining the priority of a neighbor cell in neighbor cell planning.
Background
In a cellular mobile communication system, it is necessary to ensure the continuity of service of a Mobile Station (MS) during the moving process, and the timely handover of the MS between cells is an important means for ensuring the continuity of the service. Usually, each main cell maintains a neighbor cell list, when the MS moves, the MS can switch to a neighbor cell of the current serving cell in time according to the signal strength, and if the neighbor cell configuration is not proper, network problems such as a handover call drop and the like can be caused.
In the prior art, the priority of the neighbor cell is generally determined by simulating a real wireless propagation model so as to determine the coverage and the strength of a propagation signal, and the calculation of the priority is determined according to coverage overlapping or distance. The prior art has the following disadvantages:
1. the considerations in determining the priority of the neighbor cells cannot be organically combined together: although a lot of parameters are used in simulation, only some factors can be considered in decision making;

The basic idea of the invention is: acquiring the coverage radius and the coverage circle center coordinate of each cell according to the longitude and latitude and the direction angle of each cell in the main cell and the candidate neighbor cell set; acquiring coverage overlapping indexes of all cells and a main cell in a candidate neighbor cell set according to the coverage radius and the coverage circle center coordinates of each cell; and determining the cell priority in the candidate neighbor cell set according to the coverage overlap index.
The invention is further described in detail below with reference to the figures and the specific embodiments.
The invention realizes a method for determining the priority of a neighbor cell in neighbor cell planning, as shown in figure 1, the method comprises the following steps:

The method of the invention can reduce the complexity of the priority calculation of the adjacent cell, can simultaneously consider the coverage radius of the cell and the overlapping degree between the cells, and is suitable for the adjacent cell planning of a large-scale newly-built network.
