Detailed Description
A method and an apparatus for protecting geographical location information according to an embodiment of the present invention are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Example one
An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for protecting geographical location information, as shown in fig. 1, the method includes the following operation steps:
101. when the GPS module receives a first instruction, the GPS module is set to be in a protection mode;
102. when the GPS module receives a request for reading the geographical position information of the user, the obtained current real geographical position information of the user is processed and then changed into pseudo geographical position information;
103. and the GPS module sends the pseudo-geographic position information.
In the method for protecting geographical location information provided by the embodiment of the present invention, when the GPS module is set to the protection mode and receives a request for reading the geographical location information of a user, pseudo geographical location information is obtained by performing signal processing on the current real geographical location information of the user acquired by the GPS module and is sent to a requesting party, and the requesting party acquires real geographical location information that is not the user. The embodiment of the invention solves the problem that in the prior art, the owner of the operating system of the equipment terminal or the developers of other applications on the equipment terminal randomly obtain the real geographical position information of the user, and realizes effective protection on the privacy of the real geographical position information of the user.
When the method is applied specifically, two instructions are displayed on a display interface of the equipment terminal, and different instructions are received through the GPS module to execute different operations. When the first instruction is selected, the instruction indicates that the GPS module needs to be protected, and the GPS module is set to be in a protection mode at the moment; when the second instruction is selected, the instruction indicates that the GPS module is used, and the GPS module is set to be in a normal working mode. As shown in fig. 2, the operation steps are as follows:
201. and when the GPS module receives the first instruction, setting the GPS module into a protection mode.
When the GPS module receives a request for reading user geographical location information from an owner of an operating system of the device terminal or from a developer of another application on the device terminal, the GPS module processes the current real geographical location information of the user to obtain pseudo (unreal) geographical location information, and may specifically obtain the pseudo geographical location information in any one of the following three ways:
202. and carrying out one-time nonlinear calculation processing on the acquired real geographical position information of the user, wherein the processed information is pseudo geographical position information. Wherein the non-linear computation comprises sine transform, cosine transform, tangent transform, cotangent transform, discrete sine transform, discrete cosine transform, exponential transform, and the like. Or,
203. and discarding the acquired information in the specified time period according to a certain time interval, wherein the remaining processed information is pseudo-geographic position information. For example, the user's true geographical location information acquired within 5 seconds may be discarded every 0.1 second or 0.5 second. Or,
204. and superposing the acquired signal of the real geographical position information of the user and the base station signal acquired by the equipment terminal, wherein the processed information is pseudo geographical position information. The GPS module is provided with an interface, and can acquire a base station signal acquired by the equipment terminal.
Pseudo-geographic location information is obtained by any of the three ways described above.
205. And the GPS module sends the pseudo-geographic position information.
The GPS module is processed into pseudo-geographic position information according to the obtained current real geographic position information of the user and sends the pseudo-geographic position information to an owner of an operating system of the equipment terminal or developers of other applications on the equipment terminal, wherein the owner provides a request for reading the geographic position information of the user.
When the GPS module is in a protection mode, even if a user puts forward a request for reading the geographical location information of the user, the obtained geographical location information is pseudo geographical location information.
As shown in fig. 2, the method for protecting geographic location information according to the embodiment of the present invention further includes:
206. when the GPS module is in a protection mode and does not receive a request for reading user geographical location information, the GPS module is prohibited from performing any operation.
207. And when the GPS module receives a second instruction, setting the GPS module to be in a normal working mode.
At this time, when the GPS module receives a request for reading the geographical location information of the user, the current actual geographical location information of the user is acquired.

a sending unit 303, configured to send the pseudo geographic location information by the GPS module.
In the device for protecting geographical location information provided by the embodiment of the present invention, when the GPS module is set to the protection mode and receives a request for reading the geographical location information of a user, pseudo geographical location information is obtained by performing signal processing on the current real geographical location information of the user acquired by the GPS module and is sent to the requesting party, and the requesting party acquires real geographical location information that is not the user. The embodiment of the invention solves the problem that in the prior art, the owner of the operating system of the equipment terminal or the developers of other applications on the equipment terminal randomly obtain the correct geographical position information of the user, and realizes effective protection of the privacy of the correct geographical position information of the user.
