Description

Power control method and equipment for home base station
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of wireless communication technologies, and in particular, to a power control method and device for a home base station.
Background
In a single-layer network where macro base stations (Micro eNodeB, MeNB) are deployed, the following downlink power control method may be adopted to avoid a problem of excessive signal interference between macro base stations, which is specifically as follows:
a first macro base station sends a wireless network transmission power (RNTP) parameter to a second macro base station, wherein the RNTP parameter comprises the power level of the first macro base station on each Physical Resource Block (PRB); after receiving the RNTP parameter, the second macro base station may perform the following two operations:
in the first method, a second macro base station sets PRB use priority of a cell edge terminal (UE) and a cell center UE through a scheduling interface. Second, the second macro base station reduces the signal transmission power on one or more PRBs according to the RNTP parameters of the second macro base station and the RNTP parameters sent by the first macro base station.
With the increasing data rate and traffic load requirements, the traditional method of providing access by using macro base station single-layer coverage cannot meet the requirement. By adopting layered coverage, the problem can be well solved by deploying Home base stations (Home eNodeB, HeNB) in hot spot areas or indoors. A home base station is a base station device applied in a home indoor environment, an office environment, or other hot spot small coverage environments, and can enable operators to provide attractive services with higher data rate and lower cost.
The method for the home base station to control the downlink power is as follows:
and the macro base station instructs the home base station to adjust the signal transmitting power, and the home base station increases or decreases the signal transmitting power of the home base station according to the instruction of the macro base station. Or, the femtocell automatically adjusts the signal transmission power of the femtocell to Ptx according to the following formula:
ptx ═ max (min (α · PM + β, Pmax), Pmin) [ dBm ], Pmax/Pmin are the maximum/minimum transmit power of the HeNB, PM is the measured receive power of the macro base station, and α β is a preset adjustment parameter.
In the process of implementing the invention, the inventor finds that the following technical problems exist in the prior art:
for the case of Closed Subscriber Group (CSG), as shown in fig. 1, the UE1 belongs to the macro base station, and the home base station can only serve authorized CSG users of the home base station, and since the UE2 is an authorized CSG user of the home base station, the home base station can be accessed. When the UE1 is located in the coverage of the home base station, since the UE1 is not an authorized CSG user of the home base station unlike the UE2, even if the signal strength of the home base station is much higher than that of the macro base station, the UE1 cannot handover to the home base station and also suffers from strong interference from the home base station. This may result in very poor channel conditions for the user UE1, resulting in dropped calls or even inoperability. The authorized CSG user of the home base station refers to a UE that is granted a CSG identity (CSG ID) of the home base station. Each femtocell may correspond to one CSG ID, and multiple femtocells may correspond to the same CSG ID.

Detailed Description
In order to reduce the signal interference of the femtocell on the unauthorized CSG user located within the coverage area of the femtocell, an embodiment of the present invention provides a power control method for the femtocell.
Aiming at the family base station side:
as shown in fig. 2, the method for controlling power of a home base station according to the embodiment of the present invention specifically includes the following steps:
step 20: the home base station determines whether an unauthorized CSG user interfered by a signal of the home base station exists; the unauthorized CSG user refers to a UE that is not granted the CSG ID corresponding to the home base station by the network side.
Step 21: and when the home base station determines that the unauthorized CSG user exists, the home base station performs power control to reduce the signal transmission power of the home base station.
In step 20, the hnb determines whether there is an unauthorized CSG user that is interfered by the signal of the hnb, which may be specifically implemented as follows:
if the home base station receives first information which is sent by a terminal or a service base station of the terminal and used for notifying the existence of an unauthorized CSG user, determining that the unauthorized CSG user exists, and otherwise, determining that the unauthorized CSG user does not exist; or,
and when receiving second information which is sent by a service base station of the terminal and used for determining whether the unauthorized CSG user exists, the home base station determines whether the unauthorized CSG user exists according to the second information.
The first information may specifically be:
the method comprises the steps that when a terminal in an idle state performs cell selection or reselection, a cell with the strongest signal is searched to be a cell of a home base station, and after the terminal is judged to be an unauthorized CSG user, a connection request or interfered user existence indication information is sent; or,
the method comprises the steps that interfered user existence indication information is sent by a service base station of a terminal, and the interfered user existence indication information is sent when the service base station of the terminal receives a measurement report reported by the terminal and the measurement report carries measurement information of a home base station; or,
the method comprises the steps that a measurement report of a terminal is sent by a service base station of the terminal, the measurement report is sent by the service base station of the terminal in an idle state, the terminal searches that a cell with the strongest signal is a cell of a home base station when the terminal performs cell selection or reselection, and sends a measurement control configuration request to the service base station after judging that the terminal is an unauthorized CSG user, event measurement is performed according to measurement control information returned by the service base station, and the measurement report is reported after meeting a measurement report triggering condition.
In the invention, the terminal reports the measurement report when meeting the preset event trigger condition and/or the home base station identification information appears in the adjacent cell list of the terminal.
The second information is: when a serving base station of a terminal receives a measurement report reported by the terminal and the measurement report carries measurement information of a home base station, determining the signal interference level of the home base station to the terminal according to RSRP and/or RSRQ information in the measurement information; specifically, if the RSRP and/or the RSRQ is greater than a preset threshold, the signal interference level is determined to be high, otherwise, the signal interference level is determined to be low.
Correspondingly, the determining whether the unauthorized CSG user exists according to the second information may be implemented as follows:
and if the signal interference level meets the set condition, determining that the unauthorized CSG user exists by the home base station, otherwise, determining that the unauthorized CSG user does not exist. The setting condition may be that the signal interference level is high.
The second information may be: when a service base station of a terminal receives a measurement report reported by the terminal and the measurement report carries measurement information of a home base station, RSRP and/or RSRQ information in the measurement information;
correspondingly, the determining whether the unauthorized CSG user exists according to the second information may be implemented as follows:
and the femtocell determines the signal interference level of the femtocell to the terminal according to the RSRP and/or the RSRQ information, if the signal interference level meets the set conditions, the existence of an unauthorized CSG user is determined, otherwise, the existence of the unauthorized CSG user is determined. Specifically, if the RSRP and/or the RSRQ is greater than a preset threshold, the signal interference level is determined to be high, otherwise, the signal interference level is determined to be low. The setting condition may be that the signal interference level is high.
Preferably, after the femtocell determines that the unauthorized CSG user exists and before the signal transmission power of the femtocell is reduced in step 21, the femtocell may first determine whether the number of times that the unauthorized CSG user exists is determined to exceed a preset number threshold in a preset time period; and when the times are judged to exceed the times threshold value, reducing the signal transmission power of the home base station.
Preferably, after reducing the signal transmission power of the home base station in step 21, the home base station may determine whether a preset power reset condition is satisfied, and if the preset power reset condition is satisfied, increase the signal transmission power of the home base station.
The power reset condition may be:
the femtocell determines that the number of times of the existence of the unauthorized CSG user is less than a preset trigger threshold value again in a set time period after the signal transmission power of the femtocell is reduced; or,
the femtocell does not receive power adjustment commands from other base stations within a set time period after the signal transmission power of the femtocell is reduced; or,
the method comprises the steps that a background noise rise (IOT) value of a terminal measured by a home base station is smaller than a preset IOT threshold value; or,
and the home base station receives the notification information of the corresponding terminal leaving the coverage range of the home base station, which is sent by the service base station of the unauthorized CSG user terminal.
For the terminal side:
referring to fig. 3, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a power control triggering method, where the method includes:
step 30: when a terminal in an idle state searches that a cell with the strongest signal is a cell of a home base station when the terminal performs cell selection or reselection, whether the terminal is an unauthorized CSG user is judged;
step 31: and after judging that the terminal is an unauthorized CSG user, the terminal executes the preset operation for triggering the femtocell to reduce the signal transmission power.
In step 30, it is determined whether the terminal is an unauthorized CSG user, which may be implemented as follows:
the terminal judges whether the terminal is configured with a CSG identification which is the same as the CSG identification in the received system information of the home base station, if so, the terminal is determined as an authorized CSG user, otherwise, the terminal is determined as an unauthorized CSG user; or,
the terminal receives the synchronizing signal, obtains a Physical Cell Identity (PCI) of the base station by analyzing the synchronizing signal, judges whether the PCI is the cell identity of the home base station, determines that the terminal is an unauthorized CSG user if the PCI is the cell identity of the home base station, and determines that the terminal is an authorized CSG user if the PCI is not the cell identity of the home base station.
In step 31, the preset operation for triggering the home base station to reduce the signal transmission power may be:
sending a connection request or interfered user existence indication information to a home base station; or,
sending a measurement control configuration request to a service base station of the terminal, carrying out event measurement according to measurement control information returned by the service base station, and reporting a measurement report to the service base station when the measurement report trigger is met.
Serving base station side for terminal:
referring to fig. 4, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a power control triggering method, where the method includes:
step 40: a service base station of a terminal receives a measurement report reported by the terminal;
step 41: and the service base station executes preset operation for triggering the home base station to reduce the signal transmission power, wherein the home base station is the home base station corresponding to the home base station identifier carried in the measurement report.
In step 41, the operation for triggering the home base station to reduce the signal transmission power may be:
the method comprises the steps that when a terminal is in an idle state, a service base station sends a measurement report to a home base station; or,
when the terminal is in a connected state, the serving base station sends the interfered user existence indication information to the home base station; or,
when the terminal is in a connected state, the serving base station sends the RSRP and/or the RSRQ information of the home base station carried in the measurement report to the home base station; or determining the signal interference level of the terminal by the home base station according to the RSRP and/or the RSRQ information, and sending the signal interference level to the home base station.
If the terminal is in an idle state, before a service base station of the terminal receives a measurement report reported by the terminal, the service base station receives a measurement control configuration request sent by the terminal and returns measurement control information to the terminal; and the terminal carries out event measurement according to the measurement control information and reports a measurement report to the service base station when the measurement report triggering condition is met.
The invention is illustrated below in specific examples:
the invention aims to assist a downlink power control algorithm and solve the problem of downlink coverage. The core content of the patent is divided into two aspects, firstly, a new protocol flow is added in a cell selection or reselection process to detect the existence of UE in an IDLE (IDLE) state interfered by signals of the HeNB, a proper measurement reporting event is configured to detect the existence of UE in a CONNECTED (CONNECTED) state interfered by the signals of the HeNB, thereby triggering power control, and secondly, how the power of a base station is reset after the power control. Both processes can assist power control, improving the coverage performance and data rate of the hierarchical network.
The specific power control method can be seen in example 1 in "a UE-assisted downlink power control method" of the patent. The triggering of the power control may be initiated by the macro base station or autonomously by the home base station.
The first embodiment is as follows:
in this embodiment, the HeNB detects, by using a cell selection or reselection process, a UE that is interfered by a signal of the HeNB around the HeNB, and then triggers power control, where the interfered UE may be a UE (mue) served by a macro base station, or a UE (hue) under the HeNB having a CSG ID different from that of the HeNB nearby.
In the existing protocol flow, cell selection or reselection is a user behavior, there is no communication between the user and the base station, and the base station does not know whether the user resides in its own cell, and in order to protect the user in an IDLE state, a new protocol flow needs to be introduced, and resident connection request information from the UE to the HeNB or indication information from the UE to the HeNB is added to tell that the base station is nearby. The treatment process specifically comprises the following steps:
step 1: the UE in the IDLE state measures RSRP in the cell selection or reselection process, searches a cell with the strongest signal, and assumes that the cell with the strongest signal searched by the UE is a cell of a nearby HeNB;
step 2: after the UE judges that the UE is an unauthorized CSG (non-CSG) user of the HeNB according to the CSG ID in the system message or the PCI analyzed from the synchronizing signal, the UE sends a connection request or interfered user existence indication information to the HeNB, and meanwhile, the UE can exclude the HeNB from continuing the selection of the next base station until the UE resides in a cell of a certain base station;
and step 3: after receiving a connection request sent by a non-CSG user or indication information of existence of an interfered user, the HeNB determines that the non-CSG user interfered by the signal of the HeNB currently exists;
and 4, step 4: and the HeNB autonomously triggers power control according to the triggering condition, and reduces the signal transmitting power of the HeNB.
Example two:
in this embodiment, in order to protect the user in the IDLE state, a new protocol flow is introduced, and a reporting process from the UE to the camping base station (i.e., a serving base station of the UE) and an information sending process from the camping base station to the HeNB are added. The specific treatment process comprises the following steps:
step 1: the UE in the IDLE state measures RSRP in the cell selection or reselection process, searches a cell with the strongest signal, and if the UE searches that the cell with the strongest signal is a cell of a nearby HeNB, the UE can exclude the HeNB from continuing the selection of a next base station until the UE resides in the cell of a certain base station;
step 2: the UE judges that the UE is a non-CSG user of the HeNB according to the CSG ID in the system message or the PCI analyzed from the synchronizing signal, and then sends a measurement control configuration request to the resident base station;
and step 3: the resident base station receives the measurement control configuration request and configures measurement control information to the UE; the measurement control information comprises the measurement quantity to be measured by the UE and a measurement reporting trigger condition, and when the measurement quantity obtained by measurement is determined to meet the measurement reporting trigger condition, the UE carries the measurement quantity obtained by measurement in a measurement report and reports the measurement quantity to the resident base station;
and 4, step 4: the UE carries out event measurement after receiving the measurement control information;
and 5: if the measurement report triggering condition is met, the UE reports the measurement report to the resident base station;
step 6: the resident base station sends the measurement report to the HeNB through an interface;
the cell of the HeNB is the cell with the strongest signal searched by the UE, so the cell of the HeNB is always present in the neighbor cell list of the UE, the UE can always measure the cell of the HeNB according to the measurement control information, and the measurement report on the UE also contains the information of the cell of the HeNB, so the resident base station can send the measurement report to the HeNB through an interface;
and 7: the HeNB determines that the non-CSG user interfered by the signal of the HeNB currently exists according to the received measurement report, and then triggers power control to reduce the signal transmitting power of the HeNB.
Example three:
in this embodiment, the HeNB detects surrounding UEs (including unauthorized MUEs or HUE) that are interfered by the HeNB signal by using a measurement event such as A3 or a4, and triggers power control by the HeNB after confirming that the UEs are likely to be interfered by the signal in the vicinity. The specific treatment process comprises the following steps:
step 1: when the trigger condition of measurement report is satisfied, the UE sends a measurement report to a source base station (namely a service base station of the UE);
step 2: the source base station directly sends the indication information of the existence of the interfered user to the target HeNB, and the information can be sent through an X2 port or an S1 port;
the target HeNB refers to the HeNB corresponding to the HeNB identifier carried in the measurement report; if the measurement report does not carry the information of the HeNB, the step and the subsequent steps do not need to be executed.
And step 3: the HeNB receives the indication information of the existence of the interfered user and determines the current existence of the non-CSG user interfered by the signal of the HeNB;
and 4, step 4: and the HeNB triggers power control to reduce the signal transmission power of the HeNB.
Example four:
in this embodiment, the presence of UEs (including an unauthorized MUE or HUE) interfered by HeNB signals is detected only through a cell selection/reselection process and a measurement report, which may sometimes cause frequent power adjustment, and some other conditions may be comprehensively considered to further limit the condition of power control triggering. The specific treatment process comprises the following steps:
step 1: when the trigger condition of measurement report is satisfied, the UE sends a measurement report to a source base station (namely a service base station of the UE);
step 2: the source base station receives the measurement report, determines the signal interference level of the HeNB to the UE according to the measurement information of the HeNB carried in the measurement report, and sends the information of the signal interference level to the HeNB; or, the source base station sends the relevant information for determining the signal interference level to the HeNB, and the HeNB determines the signal interference level of the HeNB to the UE, and the information sending can be realized through an X2 port or an S1 port;
here, the signal interference level of the HeNB to the UE may be determined according to RSRQ and/or RSRP information corresponding to the HeNB carried in the measurement report, for example, if the RSRP value is higher than a preset RSRP threshold value, the signal interference level is high, otherwise, the signal interference level is low; for another example, if the RSRQ value is higher than the preset RSRQ threshold, the signal interference level is high, otherwise, the signal interference level is low; for another example, if the RSRP value is higher than the predetermined RSRQ threshold and the RSRQ value is higher than the predetermined RSRQ threshold, the signal interference level is high, otherwise, the signal interference level is low.
And step 3: if the HeNB receives the information of the signal interference level, determining whether a non-CSG user interfered by the signal of the HeNB exists according to the signal interference level, if so, triggering power control, and reducing the signal transmitting power of the HeNB;
if the HeNB receives the relevant information for determining the signal interference level, determining the signal interference level of the HeNB to the UE according to the relevant information, wherein the determination method is the same as the method for determining the signal interference level of the HeNB to the UE by the source base station; and then the HeNB determines whether a non-CSG user interfered by the signal of the HeNB exists according to the signal interference level, if so, the power control is triggered, and the signal transmitting power of the HeNB is reduced.
Here, the method of determining whether there is a non-CSG user interfered by the signal of the HeNB according to the signal interference level may be: and if the signal interference level is high, determining that the non-CSG user interfered by the signal of the HeNB exists, and if the signal interference level is low, determining that the non-CSG user interfered by the signal of the HeNB does not exist.
Example five:
in this embodiment, the presence of an unauthorized CSG user interfered by a HeNB signal is determined by adjusting the a3 event detection, and information transmission is implemented through the X2 port or the S1 port. The specific treatment process comprises the following steps:
step 1: a serving base station of the UE configures an A3 event to the UE, and before configuration, parameters in the A3 event may be adjusted to reduce a measurement reporting trigger threshold, for example, to increase an offset value (offset) in a measurement reporting trigger condition corresponding to the A3 event;
step 2: UE measures the information of the adjacent cells;
and step 3: if the measurement reporting triggering condition corresponding to the A3 event is met, the UE reports a measurement report, and if the measurement reporting triggering condition corresponding to the A3 event is not met but the existence of the HeNB is found in a neighbor cell list of the UE, the UE also reports the measurement report;
and 4, step 4: the source base station sends the existence indication information of the interfered user to the target HeNB based on the measurement report;
the target HeNB refers to the HeNB corresponding to the HeNB identity carried in the measurement report.
And 5: the target HeNB determines non-CSG users interfered by the signal of the HeNB according to the interfered user existence indication information sent by the source base station;
step 6: and the HeNB triggers power control to reduce the signal transmission power of the HeNB.
In the above embodiment 3-5, the information sent by the serving base station to the HeNB may include the identity information of the UE, and after determining, by the HeNB, whether the UE is an unauthorized CSG user of the HeNB according to the identity information, if yes, the step of performing power control is performed, otherwise, the step of not performing power control is performed.
In the five embodiments, there may be a case where the non-CSG user interfered by the signal of the HeNB determines inaccurately or the interfered UE leaves after being instantaneously close to the HeNB, which may cause a process of frequently adjusting power of the HeNB. To alleviate this problem, the access request frequency, the interference duration, or other conditions may be taken into account to determine whether to trigger power control. The specific treatment may be as follows:
the HeNB sets a timer and a counter. The counter is incremented by 1 each time an indication of the presence of an interfered user is received within the time window. And in the time window, when the value of the counter reaches a certain value, triggering power control to reduce the signal transmitting power of the HeNB. And when the timer time is up, the counter is cleared.
In the above five embodiments, when the non-CSG user entering the HeNB gradually leaves the service range of the HeNB, the HeNB is required to gradually increase the power or recover to the full power, that is, perform power reset on the premise that the performance of the non-CSG user is satisfied, so as to improve the performance and rate of the user under the HeNB. The power reset can adopt a mode that the macro base station indicates the HeNB to reset, and can also adopt a mode that the HeNB autonomously resets. The power reset may specifically adopt the following four embodiments:
the first embodiment is as follows:
the timer control mode restores power.
After the HeNB triggers the power control, a timer is started and a time window is configured, the power control is not triggered again in the time window, or the triggering times are less than a certain threshold value, and then the HeNB resets the power.
Example two:
and if the HeNB performs power control according to the power control command sent by the macro base station or other HeNBs, the HeNB performs power reset when the HeNB does not receive the power control command in the time window. The time window is configured after the HeNB triggers power control.
Example three:
the event-triggered manner restores power.
When the power control of the HeNB is influenced by event triggering, such as events A3, A4 and the like, when the event leaving condition is met, a serving base station (macro base station or HeNB) of the interfered UE sends notification information that the terminal leaves the home base station to a target HeNB, and the target HeNB performs power resetting after receiving the notification information. Or after receiving the notification information, the target HeNB determines whether all the users before the event arrives satisfy the event leaving condition, that is, whether notification information that the corresponding terminal leaves the coverage area of the home base station and is sent by the serving base station of all the unauthorized CSG user terminals is received, and if so, performs power reset.
Example four:
and adjusting power appropriately according to the uplink interference information.
The HeNB measures the uplink IOT of the user belonging to the base station, if the IOT is smaller than a preset IOT threshold value, power resetting can be carried out, for example, the power of the HeNB is properly increased, so that the speed of the user belonging to the HeNB is increased.
As shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a wireless communication system, where the system includes:
