Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to communication technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for processing a communication service based on a region.
Background
With the development of technology, people have more and more personal devices, such as mobile phones, notebook computers, PDAs, MP3, MP4, etc., and the capabilities of the devices are stronger, most of which have the capability of short-distance communication. Therefore, it is increasingly desirable to connect these devices together to form a personal area network (PN) to share each other's resources and capabilities; especially, when people carry these devices into a specific area, how to effectively implement the service specific to the area becomes a very urgent problem, as shown in fig. 1 and 2.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a prior art personal network. As shown in fig. 1, before a personal network device x enters a specific area (which may be considered as a user side) covered by a personal network, inside the specific area, one or more personal network devices are connected to a personal network gateway through a short-range communication technology; the personal network gateway is connected with a personal network server at a network side in a wired or wireless mode, the service/content server is connected with the personal network server, the personal network gateway can be directly connected with the service/content server or can be transferred through the personal network server, the personal network server can also be used as the service/content server at the same time, and the personal network server may not be a home personal network server of the personal network equipment.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of another prior art personal network. As shown in fig. 2, after the personal network device x enters the specific area, one or more personal network devices including the personal network device x are connected to the personal network gateway through a short-range communication technology inside the specific area; the personal network gateway is connected with a personal network server at a network side in a wired or wireless mode, the service/content server is connected with the personal network server, the personal network gateway can be directly connected with the service/content server or can be transferred through the personal network server, and the personal network server can also exist as the service/content server at the same time; and if the personal network server is not the home personal network server of the personal network device x, the personal network server needs to be connected with the home personal network server of the personal network device x for information interaction.
While there is currently a network vision as shown in fig. 2, in actual practice there is no specific area-based traffic handling technology support.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the main objective of the present invention is to provide a method and an apparatus for processing a communication service based on a region, so as to provide technical support for processing a communication service based on a region in actual operation.
In order to achieve the purpose, the technical scheme of the invention is realized as follows:
a method for processing a communication service based on a region, the method comprising:
the personal network equipment enters a personal network coverage area and accesses the network; the method comprises the steps that a personal network side obtains service support information for indicating services supported by personal network equipment; and the personal network side provides service for the personal network equipment according to the obtained service support information.
The networking process includes discovery and registration, wherein,
the discovery process comprises the following steps:
the personal area network gateway in the personal area network side periodically searches new equipment in a mode of sending search information, and the personal area network equipment returns a response to the personal area network gateway after receiving the search information of the personal area network gateway; or,
the personal network equipment actively searches whether gateway equipment exists in a mode of sending search information, and the personal network gateway returns a response to the personal network equipment after receiving the search information of the personal network equipment;
the registration process comprises the following steps:
the personal network device sends a registration request to the personal network gateway, the personal network gateway registers for the personal network device according to the received registration request, and sends a registration request for requesting to register the personal network device to a personal network server in the personal network side, and the personal network server registers for the personal network device according to the received registration request.
Before the personal network server registers for the personal network equipment, the personal network server further informs the home personal network server of the personal network equipment to authenticate the personal network equipment.
The service support information is capability information and/or status information of the personal network device, wherein,
the acquisition process for the capability information comprises:

the personal network device sends a request for acquiring the service information to the personal network gateway, and the personal network gateway acquires the service information from the personal network gateway or the personal network server and returns the service information to the personal network device.

A communication service processing device based on area comprises a personal network device network access unit, a service support information processing unit and a service processing unit; wherein,
the personal area network device network access unit is used for realizing the network access process of the personal area network device when the personal area network device enters a personal area network coverage area;
the service support information processing unit is used for obtaining service support information which can indicate the service supported by the personal network equipment;
and the service processing unit is used for providing service for the personal network equipment according to the obtained service support information of the service supported by the personal network equipment.
The personal network device network access unit comprises a discovery unit and a registration unit, and is arranged at a user side or a network side, wherein,
the discovery unit is used for initiating and participating in the discovery operation in the network access process;

Detailed Description
In practical application, the area-based communication service processing process mainly includes that personal network equipment enters a personal network coverage area and accesses a network, a personal network side obtains service support information for indicating services supported by the personal network equipment, and the personal network side provides service services for the personal network equipment according to the obtained service support information. The specific process of network entry may include discovery and registration processing, the service support information may include capability information and/or status information of the personal network device, and the service provided to the personal network device is usually premised on providing the service information to the personal network device. Hereinafter, the area-based communication service processing procedure of the present invention will be described in detail with different embodiments.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a flowchart of a region-based communication service processing according to a first embodiment of the present invention, where the flowchart includes the following steps:
step 301: personal network device x enters a particular area.
Step 302: the personal network gateway periodically searches for new devices, i.e., undiscovered personal network devices, within a specific area in a manner of transmitting the search information.
Step 303: after receiving the search information of the personal network gateway, the personal network device x returns a response to the personal network gateway.
The operation mode is that the personal network gateway discovers the personal network device x, or the personal network gateway can be actively discovered by the personal network device x as shown in fig. 4. Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a flowchart of processing a communication service based on a region according to a second embodiment of the present invention, where the flowchart includes the following steps:
step 401: personal network device x enters a particular area.
Step 402: the personal network device x actively searches whether a gateway device exists in a manner of transmitting search information.
Step 403: and the personal network gateway returns a response to the personal network device x after receiving the search information of the personal network device x.
After the personal network device x and the personal network gateway in the specific area complete discovery, the personal network device x needs to perform a registration process on the network side as shown in fig. 5. Referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a flowchart of processing a communication service based on a region according to a third embodiment of the present invention, where the flowchart includes the following steps:
step 501: the personal network device x sends a registration request to the personal network gateway, wherein the registration request carries the description information of the personal network device x.
Step 502: the personal area network gateway registers for the personal area network device x according to the description information contained in the received registration request, and sends a registration request for requesting to register the personal area network device x to the personal area network server, wherein the registration request carries the description information of the personal area network device x.
Step 503: the personal network server registers for the personal network device x according to the description information contained in the received registration request, and sends a request for authenticating the personal network device x to a home personal network server of the personal network device x.
In this step, the personal network server acquires the home personal network server information of the personal network device x according to the description information of the personal network device x, and sends a request for authenticating the personal network device x to the home personal network server. If the home personal network server of the personal network device x is the personal network server, authentication is carried out in the personal network server; if personal network device x does not have a home personal network server, the personal network server can choose whether and how to authenticate personal network device x.
Step 504: the home personal network server of the personal network device x registers for the personal network device x according to the description information contained in the received request, and returns an authentication response to the personal network server.
Step 505: the personal network server returns a registration response to the personal network gateway.
Step 506: the personal network gateway returns a registration response to the personal network device x.
The registration operations performed by the personal area network gateway and the personal area network server with respect to the personal area network device x may also be performed after the personal area network gateway and the personal area network server receive the corresponding responses, respectively. In step 504, if the home personal network server of the personal network device x successfully authenticates the personal network device x, a registration success response is returned, otherwise, a registration failure response is returned; the response content in steps 505 and 506 is consistent with the response content in step 504.
When the personal network side obtains the service support information for indicating the service supported by the personal network device, the capability information and/or the state information of the personal network device can be obtained. Referring to fig. 6, fig. 6 is a flowchart of a communication service processing based on a region according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention, where the process includes the following steps:
step 601: the personal network gateway sends a request for acquiring the capability information of the personal network device x to the personal network server.
Specifically, if the personal area network gateway does not send the request to the personal area network server, the personal area network server may also directly request the home personal area network server of the personal area network device x to acquire the capability information of the personal area network device x, that is, step 602 does not need to rely on the occurrence of step 601; and after the personal area network server acquires the capability information, the personal area network server can inform the personal area network gateway, and the personal area network gateway can directly request the capability information of the personal area network device x from the personal area network server.
Step 602: the personal area network server sends a request for acquiring the capability information of the personal area network device x to a home personal area network server of the personal area network device x.
Step 603: the home personal network server of the personal network device x returns a response to the personal network server, and the response may directly carry the capability information or may not carry the capability information but send the capability information to the personal network server in other manners.
Step 604: the personal network server returns a response to the personal network gateway, and the response can directly carry the capability information or can be sent to the personal network server in other modes without carrying the capability information.
As can be seen, fig. 6 shows a case where the personal area network gateway and the personal area network server obtain capability information from the home personal area network server of the personal area network device x; in practice, the capability information may also be acquired in the manner shown in fig. 7. Referring to fig. 7, fig. 7 is a flowchart of a communication service processing based on a region according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention, where the flowchart includes the following steps:
step 701: the personal network server sends a request for acquiring the capability information of the personal network device x to the personal network gateway.
Specifically, if the personal area network server does not send the request to the personal area network gateway, the personal area network gateway may also directly request the personal area network device x to obtain the capability information thereof, that is, step 702 does not depend on the occurrence of step 701; and after the personal area network gateway acquires the capability information, the personal area network gateway can inform the personal area network server, and the personal area network server can directly request the capability information from the personal area network gateway.

step 801: the personal network server sends a request for acquiring the status information of the personal network device x to the personal network gateway.
Specifically, if the personal area network server does not send the request to the personal area network gateway, the personal area network gateway may also directly request the personal area network device x to obtain the status information thereof, that is, step 802 does not depend on the occurrence of step 801; and after the personal area network gateway acquires the state information, the personal area network gateway can inform the personal area network server, and the personal area network server can directly request the state information from the personal area network gateway.

A log-off procedure may be performed in case no further subsequent service is needed. step 1101: personal network device x sends a logout request to the personal network gateway.

The specific logout operation in this step may also be performed in step 1102.
As can be seen, fig. 11 illustrates a situation where the personal network device x actively logs off; in practice, the deregistration procedure can also be performed in the manner shown in fig. 12. Referring to fig. 12, fig. 12 is a flowchart of a region-based communication service processing according to a tenth embodiment of the present invention, and there may be various cases of triggering the operations shown in the flowchart, such as: the personal network device x leaves the specific area without actively logging off, or the personal network device x is unavailable due to special conditions such as battery exhaustion and the like, and after a period of time, the personal network gateway and/or the personal network server in the network side judges that the connection of the personal network device x is overtime; alternatively, the personal network gateway or the personal network server needs to actively log off the personal network device x. In order to smoothly realize the above-described flow processes, the arrangement shown in fig. 14 may be performed. Referring to fig. 14, fig. 14 is a diagram of a communication service processing apparatus based on a region according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the apparatus includes a personal network device network access unit, a service support information processing unit, and a service processing unit, which are connected in sequence or connected in pairs; the personal network device network access unit comprises a discovery unit and a registration unit which can have a connection relation, the service support information processing unit comprises one or both of a capability information processing unit and a state information processing unit which can have a connection relation, and the service processing unit comprises a service information processing unit and a service execution unit which can have a connection relation.
In practical application, the network access unit of the personal network device may be disposed at a user side or a network side, where the discovery unit is configured to initiate and participate in executing the discovery operation in the corresponding flow, and the registration unit is configured to initiate and participate in executing the registration operation in the corresponding flow; and the discovery unit and the registration unit are further capable of notifying the service support information processing unit of the results of discovery and registration, respectively. The service support information processing unit can be arranged at a user side or a network side, wherein the capability information processing unit is used for initiating and participating in executing the capability information acquisition operation in the corresponding flow, and the state information processing unit is used for initiating and participating in executing the state information acquisition operation in the corresponding flow; and the capability information processing unit and the state information processing unit can also respectively inform the acquired capability information and state information to the service processing unit. The service processing unit may be disposed at a user side or a network side, where the service information processing unit is configured to initiate and participate in executing the service information obtaining operation in the corresponding flow, and send the obtained service information to the service executing unit.
The service execution unit is generally disposed at the network side, and is configured to apply the received service information to provide a service to the personal network device. In addition, a logout unit may be further configured, which may be configured on a user side or a network side, and is configured to initiate and participate in performing a logout operation in the foregoing corresponding flow.
Based on the above description, two examples in life can be exemplified below:
case one:
the user enters the coffee shop with the MP3, and the MP3 supports bluetooth technology.
After a while, the personal network gateway in the cafe searches for the user's MP3 by periodically searching for new devices via bluetooth, and both establish a connection.
Then, the MP3 sends a registration request to the personal network gateway, the personal network gateway sends a request for registering the MP3 to the personal network server after receiving the registration request, the personal network server determines that the MP3 does not belong to the personal network server and authenticates the MP3 by itself after receiving the request, and returns a registration success response to the personal network gateway, and the personal network gateway returns a registration success response to the MP3 after receiving the response.
The personal network server sends a request for acquiring the MP3 capability information to the personal network gateway, the personal network gateway sends the request for acquiring the capability to the MP3 after receiving the request, the MP3 returns the capability information including the hardware capability (processor capability, storage space capacity and the like) information and the software capability (supported media format and the like) information to the personal network gateway after receiving the request, and the personal network gateway sends the capability information to the personal network server after receiving the capability information.
The personal network server sends a request for acquiring the MP3 state information to the personal network gateway, the personal network gateway receives the request and then sends the request for acquiring the state information to the MP3, the MP3 returns the current state information of the personal network gateway after receiving the request and shows that the personal network gateway is in an active state, and the personal network gateway receives the information and then sends the information to the personal network server.
The personal network server pushes the service information to the MP3 through the personal network gateway, and the personal network gateway pushes the service information to the MP3 after receiving the service information. The MP3 receives the service information and displays it to the user, and the user can browse the displayed service information and further select the service desired to be used for consumption.
Before the user leaves the coffee hall, the MP3 is actively applied to send a logout request to the personal network gateway, the personal network gateway sends a request for logging out the MP3 to the personal network server after receiving the request, the personal network server logs out the MP3 and returns a logout success response to the personal network gateway after receiving the request, and the personal network gateway logs out the MP3 and returns a logout success response to the MP3 after receiving the response.
Case two:
the user enters the coffee shop with the MP4, and the MP4 supports bluetooth technology.
MP4 actively searches for surrounding devices via bluetooth and finds the personal network gateway in the cafe, and both establish a connection.
Then, the MP4 sends a registration request to the personal network gateway, and the personal network gateway receives the request and sends a request for registering the MP4 to the personal network server; after receiving the request, the personal area network server inquires the home personal area network server of the MP4, and sends a request for authenticating the MP4 to the home personal area network server, after receiving the request, the home personal area network server authenticates the MP4, and returns an authentication success response to the personal area network server, after receiving the response, the personal area network server returns a registration success response to the personal area network gateway, and after receiving the response, the personal area network gateway returns a registration success response to the MP 4.
The personal network server sends a request for acquiring the MP4 capability information to the home personal network server of the MP4, and the home personal network server returns the capability information of the MP4 including the hardware capability (processor capability, storage space capacity, etc.) information and software capability (supported media format, etc.) information to the personal network server after receiving the request.
The personal network server sends a request for acquiring the MP4 state information to the personal network gateway, the personal network gateway receives the request and sends the request for acquiring the state information to the MP4, and the MP4 returns the current state information of the personal network gateway after receiving the request, which indicates that the personal network gateway is in an active state but the audio capability is temporarily unavailable; and after receiving the state information, the personal network gateway sends the state information to a personal network server.
The MP4 actively sends a request to the piconet gateway to obtain service information, and the piconet gateway receives the request and then sends a request to the piconet server to obtain service information (if the piconet gateway already stores service information, it does not need to obtain the service information from the piconet server, but can directly feed back the service information to the MP 4); after receiving the request, the personal area network server returns service information to the personal area network gateway (the personal area network server can select proper service information according to the capability information and/or the state information of the MP 4); after receiving the service information, the personal network gateway returns the service information to the MP 4; the MP4 receives the service information and displays it to the user, and the user can browse the displayed service information and further select the service desired to be used for consumption.
In case that the user leaves the coffee hall without actively logging off the MP4, the personal network gateway confirms that the MP4 connection is timed out after a period of time, automatically logs off the MP4 and notifies the personal network server to log off the MP4, and the personal network server logs off the MP4 according to the notification and returns a log-off success response to the personal network gateway.
Therefore, the area-based communication service processing technology can provide area-based communication service processing technology support in practical operation regardless of the method or the device.

Claims (11)
1. A method for processing a communication service based on a region, the method comprising:
the personal network equipment enters a personal network coverage area and accesses the network; the personal network side obtains service support information for indicating the service supported by the personal network equipment, and provides service for the personal network equipment according to the obtained service support information;
the operation of providing the service is based on providing service information to the personal network device, and the process of providing the service information comprises the following steps: the personal network equipment sends a request for acquiring the service information to the personal network gateway, and the personal network gateway acquires the service information from the personal network gateway or a personal network server and returns the service information to the personal network equipment;
the process of networking includes discovery, wherein,
the discovery process comprises the following steps:
the personal area network gateway in the personal area network side periodically searches new equipment in a mode of sending search information, and the personal area network equipment returns a response to the personal area network gateway after receiving the search information of the personal area network gateway; or,
the personal network equipment actively searches whether gateway equipment exists in a mode of sending search information, and the personal network gateway returns a response to the personal network equipment after receiving the search information of the personal network equipment.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the process of entering the network comprises registering, wherein,
the registration process comprises the following steps:
the personal network device sends a registration request to the personal network gateway, the personal network gateway registers for the personal network device according to the received registration request, and sends a registration request for requesting to register the personal network device to a personal network server in the personal network side, and the personal network server registers for the personal network device according to the received registration request.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein prior to registering for the personal network device, the personal network server further notifies a home personal network server of the personal network device to authenticate the personal network device.
4. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the service support information is capability information and/or status information of a personal network device, wherein,
the acquisition process for the capability information comprises:
the method comprises the steps that a personal area network server actively or based on a request of a personal area network gateway sends a request for acquiring capability information of the personal area network device to a home personal area network server of the personal area network device, the home personal area network server of the personal area network device returns the capability information of the personal area network device to the personal area network server, and the personal area network server provides the capability information of the personal area network device to the personal area network gateway; or,
the method comprises the steps that a personal area network gateway actively or based on a request of a personal area network server sends a request for acquiring capability information of the personal area network device to the personal area network device, the personal area network device returns the requested capability information to the personal area network gateway, and the personal area network gateway provides the capability information of the personal area network device to the personal area network server;
the acquisition process for the state information includes:
the personal area network gateway sends a request for acquiring the state information of the personal area network device to the personal area network device actively or based on the request of the personal area network server, the personal area network device returns the requested state information to the personal area network gateway, and the personal area network gateway provides the state information of the personal area network device to the personal area network server.
5. The method according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the operation of providing the service is premised on providing service information to a personal network device, and the process of providing the service information comprises:
the personal area network gateway actively pushes the service information to the personal area network equipment or based on the pushing of the personal area network server in the personal area network side.
6. The method of claim 1, further logging out the personal network device, the logging out process comprising:
the personal network equipment sends a logout request to a personal network gateway in a personal network side, the personal network gateway sends the logout request for logging out the personal network equipment to a personal network server in the personal network side, the personal network server logs out the personal network equipment at the personal network server and returns a response to the personal network gateway, and the personal network gateway logs out the personal network equipment at the personal network gateway and returns a response to the personal network equipment; or,
the personal network gateway logs out the personal network device at self actively or based on the log-out notice of the personal network server and sends the notice of logging out the personal network device to the personal network device.
7. A communication service processing device based on area is characterized in that the device comprises a personal network equipment network access unit, a service support information processing unit and a service processing unit; wherein,
the personal area network device network access unit is used for realizing the network access process of the personal area network device when the personal area network device enters a personal area network coverage area;
the service support information processing unit is used for obtaining service support information which can indicate the service supported by the personal network equipment;
the service processing unit is used for providing service for the personal network equipment according to the obtained service support information of the service supported by the personal network equipment; the service processing unit comprises a service execution unit, and the service execution unit is used for applying the received service information to provide service for the personal network equipment;
the personal network device network accessing unit comprises a discovery unit arranged at a user side or a network side, wherein,
the discovery unit is used for initiating and participating in the discovery operation in the network access process; wherein,
the discovery process comprises the following steps:
the personal area network gateway in the personal area network side periodically searches new equipment in a mode of sending search information, and the personal area network equipment returns a response to the personal area network gateway after receiving the search information of the personal area network gateway; or,
the personal network equipment actively searches whether gateway equipment exists in a mode of sending search information, and the personal network gateway returns a response to the personal network equipment after receiving the search information of the personal network equipment.
8. The apparatus of claim 7, wherein the personal network device network entry unit comprises a registration unit disposed at a user side or a network side, wherein,
and the registration unit is used for initiating and participating in the registration operation in the network access process.
9. The apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the service support information processing unit comprises a capability information processing unit and/or a status information processing unit, wherein,
the capability information processing unit is used for initiating and participating in the performance of capability information acquisition operation in the service support information acquisition process;
and the state information processing unit is used for initiating and participating in the state information acquisition operation in the service support information acquisition process.
10. The apparatus according to any one of claims 7 to 9, wherein the service processing unit comprises a service information processing unit, a service execution unit, wherein,
the service information processing unit is used for initiating and participating in the operation of obtaining the service information in the process of providing the service, and sending the obtained service information to the service execution unit.
11. The apparatus of claim 7, further comprising a logout unit, disposed on a user side or a network side, for initiating and participating in performing a logout operation for the personal network device.
