Description

Method and device for accessing video image in video conference system
Technical Field
The present invention relates to video conference technology, and in particular, to a method and apparatus for accessing video images in a video conference system.
Background
A video conferencing system is an audiovisual conversational type system that provides two-way real-time transmission of voice and moving color pictures between a plurality of users located at a plurality of sites. At present, the structure of a video conference system mainly includes a Media Gateway (MG) and a Multipoint Control Unit (MCU). Each meeting place corresponds to one MG, and the MG corresponding to each meeting place is connected with the camera and the display screen and directly faces to a user; the MCU is a core component of the video conference system and is mainly used for processing related signaling and media information of each MG corresponding to each conference place.
With the need of a video conference, video images of other systems (denoted as non-video conference systems) are generally introduced in the process of a video conference, for example, a video conference performed by each department under a traffic office, and a live video image currently monitored by a monitoring camera in a certain area or a monitored historical video image needs to be introduced in the process of the video conference for discussion, and for this situation, the prior art generally adopts a flow shown in fig. 1 for processing.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for accessing a video image in a conventional video conference system. In fig. 1, in order to achieve the purpose of introducing a video image of a non-video conference system in the video conference process, an intermediate device, that is, a signaling conversion gateway, needs to be added in advance; then, when a video image provided by a non-video conference system needs to be introduced during the video conference, as shown in fig. 1, the process may include the following steps:
step 101, an MCU in a video conference system first sends a request for acquiring a video image to a signaling conversion gateway.
The signaling conversion gateway calls a non-video conferencing system for providing the video image, step 102.
And 103, after receiving the call, the non-video conference system sends the video image to a signaling conversion gateway.
And step 104, the signaling conversion gateway directly sends the video image to the MCU.
Therefore, the MCU can acquire and provide the video images required by the current video conference through the steps.
It can be seen that, in the existing method for introducing a video image of a non-video conference system in the process of a video conference, when an MCU acquires a video image which is currently required and provided for the non-video conference system, a signaling conversion gateway needs to be additionally added, and the signaling conversion gateway is used as an intermediate device to perform communication between the MCU and the non-video conference system to acquire the video image required for the current video conference, which greatly increases the complexity of acquiring the video image, increases the delay of the video image, and also causes instability of the conference topology due to the need of newly adding the intermediate device.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.
In order to avoid the problem that the complexity of video image acquisition is increased due to the fact that a video image provided by a non-video conference system is introduced in the video conference process in the prior art, the inventor of the application carries out creative work on the characteristics of the video conference, and provides a method for accessing the video image in the video conference system, and concretely refers to fig. 2.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flow chart provided by the embodiment of the invention. As shown in fig. 2, the process may include the following steps:
step 201, generating more than one virtual meeting place.
Here, the virtual meeting place in step 201 may be generated when the video conference is generated, and may be executed according to the current application requirements, such as a non-video conference system that may be involved in the video conference to be generated, when the operation of generating the virtual meeting place is performed.
It should be noted that, this step 201 may be executed by the MCU according to the characteristics of the video conference to be generated, and specifically, refer to fig. 3 a. Of course, the illustration shown in fig. 3a is only an example, and step 201 in the embodiment of the present invention may also be executed by an external server preset by a user (for example, a video conference administrator) without being limited to being executed by the MCU, which may specifically refer to fig. 3 b.
In this step 201, only a virtual meeting place is generated, so as to be distinguished from a real meeting place in a video conference, the virtual meeting place may be set not to output a video image like the real meeting place in the video conference, that is, the virtual meeting place is set not to output a video image; and when the virtual meeting place is just started to be generated, setting the image input of the virtual meeting place to be null, namely not binding the virtual meeting place with any non-video conference system.
And step 202, aiming at each virtual meeting place, determining identification information which corresponds to the virtual meeting place and is used for receiving video images on the MCU, and recording the identification information on the virtual meeting place.
Here, if the virtual meeting place is generated by an MCU, as shown in fig. 3a in particular, the identification information may be configured on the MCU in this step 202 directly; if the virtual meeting place is generated by the external server, as shown in fig. 3b, in this step 202, the MCU may negotiate with the external server through the H323 protocol to determine the identification information, for example, negotiate out the identification information that is not currently used as the identification information corresponding to the virtual meeting place for receiving the video image.
Preferably, the identification information for receiving the video image corresponding to the virtual meeting place determined on the MCU may specifically include: the MCU receives the IP address and port number used by the video images.
Step 203, when a video image provided by a non-video conference system other than the video conference system needs to be introduced in the video conference process, if at least one virtual conference place with the authority of accessing the non-video conference system exists in the currently generated virtual conference places, step 204 is executed.
Here, since the videoconference administrator uniformly controls and manages the videoconference, it is easy to know when a video image provided by a non-videoconference system needs to be introduced, and it is also possible to know address information of the non-videoconference system and which virtual conference site currently exists has a virtual conference site that has a right to access the non-videoconference system.
And step 204, one of the virtual meeting places with the authority of accessing the non-video conference system sends the recorded identification information to the non-video conference system as destination address information for receiving the video image.
From the description in step 203, it can be known that the administrator can easily know the address information of the non-video conference system for providing the video image, and can determine which virtual meeting place currently exists has the virtual meeting place having the right to access the non-video conference system, so if the virtual meeting place is generated by an MCU, as shown in fig. 3a in particular, this step 204 may specifically include:
and a video conference manager logs in a web operation interface on the MCU, sets address information of a non-video conference system for providing the video images in the web operation interface, and triggers one of the virtual conference places with the authority of accessing the non-video conference system to call the non-video conference system, wherein the call carries identification information which is recorded by the virtual conference place and corresponds to the call.
Of course, if the virtual meeting place is generated by an external server, as shown in fig. 3b, step 204 may specifically include:
the video conference manager logs in a web operation interface on the external server, sets address information of a non-video conference system for providing the video images in the web operation interface, and triggers one of the virtual meeting places with the authority of accessing the non-video conference system to call the non-video conference system, wherein the call carries identification information which is recorded by the virtual meeting place and corresponds to the call.
It should be noted that in this step 204, the virtual meeting place can call the non-video conference system by calling the Software Development Kit (SDK) of the non-video conference system.
Therefore, the operation that the virtual meeting place sends the recorded identification information corresponding to the virtual meeting place to the non-video conference system as the destination address information for receiving the video images is realized through the steps.
And step 205, the non-video conference system sends the video image to the MCU according to the received identification information.
Here, according to the description in step 202, it can be known that the identification information carried in the call initiated by the virtual meeting place to the non-video conference system in step 204 is the identification information, specifically an IP address and a port number, corresponding to the virtual meeting place determined on the MCU, for receiving the video image.
Therefore, the process that the non-video conference system directly sends the video image to the MCU can be realized through the steps. It can be seen that, in this embodiment, the MCU can directly receive the video image required by the current video conference, which is sent by the non-video conference system, which obviously greatly reduces the complexity of obtaining the video image compared to the prior art, and because the present invention does not need to additionally add intermediate devices as in the prior art, the delay of the video image is also obviously reduced, thereby maintaining the stability of the conference topology.
The method provided by the invention is described above, and the equipment provided by the invention is described below by combining specific embodiments.

As shown in fig. 4, the apparatus may include: a meeting place generating unit 401, an identification determining unit 402, an accessing unit 403, and an image receiving unit 404;
wherein, the meeting place generating unit 401 is configured to generate more than one virtual meeting places on the device; here, the operation of generating the virtual meeting place is performed when the video conference is generated; in addition, in order to distinguish from the real meeting place, each virtual meeting place generated in the present embodiment does not output an image, and the image input at the time of just generation is null.
The identification determining unit 402 determines, for each virtual meeting place generated by the meeting place generating unit 401, identification information for receiving a video image corresponding to the virtual meeting place on the device; here, the specific implementation of the identification information for receiving the video image may include: the MCU receives the IP address and port number used by the video images.
The access unit 403 is configured to, when a video image provided by a non-video conference system other than the video conference system needs to be introduced in a video conference process, if at least one virtual meeting place with an authority to access the non-video conference system exists in the virtual meeting places generated by the meeting place generation unit 401, trigger one of the virtual meeting places with the authority to access the non-video conference system to send the recorded identification information to the non-video conference system as destination address information for receiving the video image;
the image receiving unit 404 receives the video image sent by the non-video conference system according to the identification information.
Preferably, the accessing unit 403 triggers one of the virtual meeting places with the right to access the non-video conference system to call the non-video conference system on the web operation interface of the device, where the call carries the identification information corresponding to the virtual meeting place.
So far, the description of one of the devices provided by the embodiments of the present invention may be completed.

The identification receiving unit 502 is configured to receive identification information, which is sent by the MCU and is used to receive a video image, and corresponds to the virtual meeting place; here, the identification information for receiving the video image includes: the MCU receives the IP address and port number used by the video images.
When the access unit 503 needs to introduce a video image provided by a non-video conference system other than the video conference system in the process of a video conference, if at least one virtual conference place with the authority of accessing the non-video conference system exists in the currently generated virtual conference places, one of the virtual conference places with the authority of accessing the non-video conference system sends the determined identification information to the non-video conference system; and the non-video conference system sends the video image to the MCU according to the received identification information.
According to the technical scheme, the method and the device for accessing the video images in the video conference system provided by the invention have the advantages that more than one virtual meeting place is generated; for each virtual meeting place, determining identification information which corresponds to the virtual meeting place and is used for receiving video images on the MCU, and recording the identification information on the virtual meeting place; then, when a video image provided by a non-video conference system except the video conference system needs to be introduced in the video conference process, if at least one virtual conference place with the authority of accessing the non-video conference system exists in the currently generated virtual conference places, one of the virtual conference places with the authority of accessing the non-video conference system sends the determined identification information to the non-video conference system; in this way, the non-video conference system transmits the video image according to the identification information. Here, because the identification information recorded in the virtual meeting place is configured on the MCU, the video image sent by the non-video conference system according to the received identification information will tend to directly reach the MCU, i.e. the operation of the non-video conference system directly sending the video image required for the video conference to the MCU is achieved, which greatly reduces the complexity of obtaining the video image;
