Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The embodiment of the invention provides a method for realizing service control in roaming, and the roaming in the embodiment of the invention comprises intra-network roaming or inter-network roaming. Please refer to fig. 1 in combination, which includes:
step 101, receiving a request for creating a packet data protocol PDP context sent by a visited network serving GPRS support node SGSN according to a service application of a user.
Specifically, in the roaming process, the user sends an Activate Packet Data Protocol (PDP) Context Request through the terminal device, after receiving the Activate PDP Context Request sent by the terminal device, the SGSN of the visited network sends a Create Packet Data Protocol (PDP) Context Request to a Gateway GPRS Support Node (GGSN) of the home network, and the GGSN of the home network receives the Create PDP Context Request, which may be a GGSN having a Service Switching Function (SSF).
Step 102, obtaining the information whether the user's balance can pay the service application fee according to the request.
After receiving the Create PDP Context Request, the GGSN of the home network inquires the charge balance of the user and judges whether the charge balance of the user can pay the charge applied by the service; or,
after the GGSN of the home network receives the Create PDP Context Request, triggering a charging device to judge whether the user charge balance can pay the service application fee, and returning result information whether the user charge balance can pay the service application fee to the GGSN of the home network by the charging device according to the trigger. The GGSN of the home network receives the result information whether the user charge balance returned by the charging device can pay the service application charge. The charging device may be a converged charging system, a Service Control Point (SCP), or other charging device.
Wherein the user tariff balance may be an available balance of the user or a permeable balance, and the user tariff balance may also be a traffic volume that can be used by the user, for example: free donated traffic; or other balance that the user may ultimately pay.
Specifically, after receiving the Create PDP Context Request, the GGSN of the home network sends a credit control Request CCR message to the charging device through a Diameter credit control DCC interface to query the charge balance of the user, and receives information that the charging device returns the charge balance of the user through a credit control response CCA message; or,
after the GGSN of the home network receives the Create PDP Context Request, a credit control Request CCR message is sent to a charging device through a Diameter credit control DCC interface to trigger the charging device to judge whether the user charge balance can pay the service application fee, and the receiving charging device returns judgment result information through a credit control response CCA message.
Step 103, if the charge balance can pay the charge of the service application, returning a successful PDP context creating response to the visited SGSN.
In the embodiment of the invention, in the roaming process of the user, by acquiring the information whether the cost balance of the user can pay the service application cost of the current user, under the condition that the cost balance of the user can pay the cost of the current service application, the successful PDP context creating response is returned to the SGSN. Only when the user's charge balance can pay the current business application charge, the GGSN of the home network returns the successful PDP context creating response to the SGSN of the visit network; the loss of communication flow caused by service application failure due to insufficient user balance in the roaming process is avoided, and the waste of network resources is reduced.
The Service in the embodiment of the present invention may be a data Service, for example, a Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS), and the following description will be given by taking a specific application of the embodiment of the present invention in an MMS Service as an example, please refer to fig. 2, where the embodiment of the present invention provides a method for implementing Service control in roaming, which specifically includes:
step 201, when the user sends the MMS, the user first sends an Activate packet data protocol Context Request Activate PDP Context Request to the SGSN of the visited network through the terminal device.
Step 202, the SGSN of the visited network sends Create PDP Context Request to the GGSN of the home network.
Specifically, the SGSN of the visited network receives an Activate PDP Context Request sent by the terminal device, and sends a Create PDP Context Request to the GGSN of the home network.
Step 203, the GGSN of the home network queries the charging device for the balance of the user's charge.
Specifically, after receiving the SGSN of the visited network, the GGSN of the home network sends a CCR message to the charging apparatus; the CCR message may include: event type, query user balance.
Optionally, the CCR message sent between the GGSN of the home network and the charging apparatus through the DCC interface may include, but is not limited to, the following Attribute Value Pair (AVP):
a multimedia message calling number, a multimedia message called number, a multimedia message billing party number, a query type (querying a user tariff balance of a payer), a billing type, a multimedia message content code, and the like.
Step 204, the charging device returns the balance of the user's charge to the GGSN of the home network.
Specifically, the charging device returns the balance of the user's charge to the GGSN of the home network through the CCA message.
Optionally, the CCA message sent by the charging apparatus to the GGSN of the home network through the DCC interface may include, but is not limited to, the following Attribute Value Pair (AVP):
the payer user balance, the available resources of the payer user (e.g., donated resources, overdraft limits), user status information (whether active), user permissions, and the like.
Step 205, the GGSN in the home network determines whether the user tariff balance is sufficient.
Specifically, the GGSN of the home network may determine whether the user cost balance is sufficient, and may implement the following method:
the implementation mode is as follows: setting a threshold value at GGSN of a home network, if the user charge balance returned by the charging device exceeds the set threshold value, judging that the charge balance of the user can pay the service application charge; otherwise, the charge balance of the user is judged to be unable to pay the service application charge. Wherein the threshold value can be set according to an empirical value, and the realization mode has the advantage that the GGSN of the home network does not even need to know the type of the service. Further, the GGSN of the home network does not even need to know the unit implementation cost that does not need the service, such as X units/minute for voice, Y units/piece for multimedia message, Z units/piece for short message, etc. The user tariff balance can be directly compared with a threshold value. Whether the charge balance of the user can support the service application charge or not is quickly judged.
Alternatively, the threshold may be set in plural, for example, different thresholds may be set for different services. In this case, the threshold may be set according to an empirical value, or may be set according to the cost of single implementation of different services. For example, as shown in table 1:

The implementation mode two is as follows: the GGSN of the home network compares the user charge balance returned by the charging device with the service application charge of the user directly, if the user charge balance is not less than the service application charge, the charge balance of the user is judged to be capable of paying the service application charge; otherwise, the charge balance of the user is judged to be unable to pay the service application charge.
Specifically, the GGSN of the home network receives the service request, and performs type identification on the service request, for example: multimedia messages, short messages; and searching the charging standard of the corresponding type of service request, and calculating the cost required by the service request. After receiving the charge balance returned by the charging device, comparing the charge balance with the charge required by the service request. If the user charge balance is not less than the service application charge, judging that the charge balance of the user can pay the service application charge; otherwise, the charge balance of the user is judged to be unable to pay the service application charge.
The realization mode has the advantage that whether the charge balance of the user can support the service application charge or not is accurately judged.
In step 206, the GGSN of the home network sends a Create PDPContext Response message to the SGSN of the visited network.
Specifically, if the GGSN of the home network determines that the charge balance of the user can pay the service application charge, a successful Create PDP Context Response message is returned to the SGSN of the visited network; if the GGSN of the home network judges that the charge balance of the user can not pay the service application charge, a failed Create PDP Context Response message is returned to the SGSN of the visited network. Because the Create PDP Context Response received by the visited network SGSN is a failure message, the establishment of the channel of the service request fails, thereby avoiding the subsequent execution steps of the service request, reducing the use of network resources and saving the flow of the network.
Step 207, the visited network SGSN returns an Activate PDP Context Accept message to the terminal device.
And the visited network SGSN returns an Activate PDP Context Accept message to the terminal equipment according to the Create PDP Context Response message returned by the GGSN of the home network. If the GGSN of the home network returns a successful Create PDP Context Response message, the SGSN of the visited network returns a successful Activate PDP Context Accept message to the terminal equipment; otherwise, the visited network SGSN returns a failed Activate PDP Context Accept message to the terminal equipment.
Optionally, if the terminal device receives a successful activate pdp Context Accept message returned by the SGSN of the visited network, the user sends an IP channel establishment of the MMS, the terminal device sends the message to the MMSC through the MM1 interface, the MMSC sends the message to the charging device through the authentication and fee deduction interface between the MMSC and the charging device to perform authentication fee deduction, the charging device responds to the fee deduction authentication result to the MMSC, the MMSC responds to the MM1 interface message to the terminal device, and the terminal device sends the MMS successfully.
The embodiment of the invention takes the example of sending MMS in the roaming process of the user, and returns a successful PDP context creating response to the SGSN under the condition of confirming that the cost balance of the user can pay the cost of the current service application by judging whether the cost balance of the user can pay the information of the service application cost of the current user. The loss of communication flow caused by service application failure due to insufficient user balance in the roaming process is avoided, and the waste of network resources is reduced.
Referring to fig. 3, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for implementing Service control during roaming, where the embodiment of the present invention also takes a Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) used by a user during roaming as an example, where steps 301 to 303 may refer to steps 201 to 202 in the above embodiment, and are not described herein again.
Step 303, the GGSN of the home network triggers the charging device to determine whether the balance of the user fee can pay the fee applied by the service.
After the GGSN of the home network receives the Create PDP Context Request, a credit control Request CCR message is sent to a charging device through a Diameter credit control DCC interface to trigger the charging device to judge whether the user charge balance can pay the service application charge or not.
Optionally, the CCR message sent between the GGSN of the home network and the charging apparatus through the DCC interface may include, but is not limited to, the following Attribute Value Pair (AVP):
a multimedia message calling number, a multimedia message called number, a multimedia message charging party number, a query type (whether the user charge balance of a query paying party can pay the service application), a charging type, a multimedia message content code and the like.
In step 304, the billing device determines whether the user balance is sufficient.
Specifically, the charging device determines whether the user charge balance can pay the service application charge according to the trigger of the GGSN of the home network, and the method can be specifically implemented as follows:
the implementation mode is as follows: the charging device sets a threshold value, if the user charge balance returned by the charging device exceeds the set threshold value, the charge balance of the user is judged to be capable of paying the service application charge; otherwise, the charge balance of the user is judged to be unable to pay the service application charge. The threshold value can be set to be multiple, and each threshold value corresponds to the cost for realizing different services at a time. For example:

The implementation mode two is as follows: the charging device compares the user charge balance with the service application charge of the user directly, if the user charge balance is not less than the service application charge, the charge balance of the user is judged to be able to pay the service application charge; otherwise, the charge balance of the user is judged to be unable to pay the service application charge.
Alternatively, the charging device may be one of a converged charging system, a Service Control Point (SCP), or other charging devices.
Step 305, the charging device sends the result of judging whether the user charge balance is enough to pay the service application charge to the GGSN of the home network.
The charging device responds to the CCA message through credit control and returns judgment result information. Optionally, the CCA message sent by the charging apparatus to the GGSN of the home network through the DCC interface may include, but is not limited to, the following Attribute Value Pair (AVP):
whether the balance of the user at the paying party can pay the result information of the service application, the available resources (such as donated resources and overdraft quota) of the user at the paying party, the user state information (whether activated or not), the user authority and the like.
Step 306, the GGSN of the home network sends Create PDP Context Response message to the SGSN according to the judgment result returned by the charging device.
Specifically, if the GGSN of the home network receives a determination result returned by the charging device, that is, the cost balance of the user can pay the service application cost, the GGSN of the home network sends a successful Create PDP Context Response message to the SGSN of the visited network; otherwise, if the GGSN of the home network receives the judgment result returned by the charging device, and the cost balance of the user can not pay the service application cost, the GGSN of the home network sends a failed Create PDPContext Response message to the SGSN of the visit network.
Step 307, the visited network SGSN returns an Activate PDP Context Accept message to the terminal device.
And the visited network SGSN returns an Activate PDP Context Accept message to the terminal equipment according to a Create PDP Context Response message sent by the GGSN of the home network.
Specifically, if the visited network SGSN receives a successful Create PDP Context Response message returned by the GGSN of the home network, the visited network SGSN returns a successful Activate PDP Context Accept message to the terminal device; otherwise, the visited network SGSN returns a failed Activate PDP Context Accept message to the terminal equipment.
Optionally, if the terminal device receives a successful activate pdp Context Accept message returned by the SGSN of the visited network, the user sends an IP channel establishment of the MMS, the terminal device sends the message to the MMSC through the MM1 interface, the MMSC sends the message to the charging device through the authentication and fee deduction interface between the MMSC and the charging device to perform authentication fee deduction, the charging device responds to the fee deduction authentication result to the MMSC, the MMSC responds to the MM1 interface message to the terminal device, and the terminal device sends the MMS successfully.
Referring to fig. 4 in combination, an embodiment of the present invention provides a system for implementing service control in roaming, including:
a service control gateway node 401, configured to receive a request for creating a packet data protocol PDP context sent by a visited network serving GPRS support node SGSN according to a service application of a user; acquiring information whether the charge balance of the user can pay the service application charge or not according to the request; if the user's balance can pay the cost applied by the service, it returns the successful PDP context creating response to the visit SGSN. The service control Gateway Node 401 may be a home Gateway GPRS Support Node (GGSN) or one of other Gateway nodes.
A charging device 402, configured to provide the service control gateway node 401 with information whether the tariff balance of the user can pay the service application fee. Specifically, the charging device 402 may be a converged charging system, a Service Control Point (SCP), or other charging devices.
Referring to fig. 5 in combination, an embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus for implementing service control in roaming, including:
a receiving module 501, configured to receive a request for creating a packet data protocol PDP context sent by a visited network serving GPRS support node SGSN according to a service application of a user;
an obtaining module 502, configured to obtain information whether the cost balance of the user can pay the service application cost according to the PDP context creation request
A response module 503, configured to return a successful PDP context creation response to the SGSN if it is determined that the cost balance can pay the cost of the service application according to the information.
In the embodiment of the invention, in the roaming process of the user, by acquiring the information whether the cost balance of the user can pay the service application cost of the current user, under the condition that the cost balance of the user can pay the cost of the current service application, the successful PDP context creating response is returned to the SGSN. Only when the user's charge balance can pay the current business application charge, the GGSN of the home network returns the successful PDP context creating response to the SGSN of the visit network; the loss of communication flow caused by service application failure due to insufficient user balance in the roaming process is avoided, and the waste of network resources is reduced.
Referring to fig. 6 in combination, an embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus for implementing service control in roaming, including: a receiving module 601, an obtaining module 602, and a responding module 603; the obtaining module 602 may include a query unit 6021 and a determination module 6022; in addition, the query unit 6021 may include a transmitting sub-unit 60211 and a receiving sub-unit 60212, and the determination unit 6022 may include a setting sub-unit 60221, a first comparing sub-unit 60222, and a first determining sub-unit 60223. The device for realizing service control in roaming provided by the embodiment of the invention can be applied to various communication services, such as MMS, short message and the like. Specifically, when a user sends a service application, an Activate PDP Context Request is first sent to an SGSN of a visited network through a terminal device, the SGSN of the visited network receives the Activate PDP Context Request sent by the terminal device, and sends a Create PDP Context Request to a device that implements service control during roaming.
A receiving module 601, configured to receive a Create PDP Context Request message sent by an SGSN of a visited network according to a service application of a user;
an obtaining module 602, configured to obtain, according to the Create PDP Context Request message, information whether the tariff balance of the user can pay the cost of the service application.
Specifically, the query unit 6021 in the obtaining module 602 queries the tariff balance of the user according to the Create PDP context request message, and the judgment unit 6022 judges whether the tariff balance of the user can pay the fee of the service application according to the query result.
Wherein, the sending subunit 60211 is configured to send, according to the Create PDP Context Request message, a CCR message to query the cost balance of the user through a Diameter credit control DCC interface to a charging apparatus;
a receiving subunit 60212, configured to receive information that the charging apparatus returns the balance of the user tariff through the CCA message; the information of the user tariff balance may be available balance information of the user, or overdraft balance information or other balance information that the user may finally pay.
A setting sub-unit 60221 in the determination unit 6022 is configured to set a threshold in advance, and the setting sub-unit 60221 may set one threshold for all the services or may set a plurality of thresholds, for example, different thresholds are set for different services.
The first comparing sub-unit 60222 compares the information of the user's tariff balance received from the receiving sub-unit 60212 with the threshold value set by the setting sub-unit 60221; if the charge balance in the information of the charge balance returned to the user is greater than or equal to the threshold value set by the setting subunit 60221, the first determining subunit 60223 determines that the charge balance of the user can pay the charge of the service application; otherwise, the first determining subunit 60223 determines that the charge balance of the subscriber cannot pay the charge of the service application.
In this embodiment, if the cost balance of the user is greater than 1, the first determining subunit 60223 determines that the cost balance of the user can pay the cost of the service application; otherwise, the first determining subunit 60223 determines that the charge balance of the subscriber cannot pay the charge of the service application.
A response module 603, configured to return a successful create PDP context response to the SGSN if the first determining subunit 60223 confirms that the user tariff balance can pay the cost of the service application.
Optionally, if the first determining subunit 60223 confirms that the user fee balance cannot pay the fee of the service application, a successful PDP context creation response is returned to the SGSN.
Optionally, if the terminal device receives a successful Activate PDP Context Accept message returned by the SGSN of the visited network, the user establishes an IP channel for using the service, and the terminal device may perform service processing through the IP channel. Taking the example that the user sends the MMS, if the terminal equipment receives a successful Activate PDP Context Accept message returned by the SGSN of the visited network, the user sends an IP channel establishment of the MMS, the terminal equipment sends the message to the MMSC through the MM1 interface, the MMSC sends the message to the charging device through the authentication and fee deduction interface between the MMSC and the charging device to perform authentication fee deduction, the charging device responds to the fee deduction authentication result to the MMSC, the MMSC responds to the MM1 interface message to the terminal equipment, and the terminal equipment sends the MMS successfully.
Referring to fig. 7 in combination, an embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus for implementing service control in roaming, including: a receiving module 701, an obtaining module 702, and a responding module 703; the obtaining module 702 may include a querying unit 7021 and a determining module 7022; in addition, query unit 7021 may include a sending sub-unit 70211 and a receiving sub-unit 70212, and determining unit 7022 may include a second obtaining sub-unit 70221, a second comparing sub-unit 70222, and a second determining sub-unit 70223.
Specifically, when a user sends a service application, an Activate PDP Context Request is first sent to an SGSN of a visited network through a terminal device, the SGSN of the visited network receives the Activate PDP Context Request sent by the terminal device, and sends a Create PDP Context Request to a device that implements service control during roaming.
A receiving module 701, configured to receive a Create PDP Context Request message sent by an SGSN of a visited network according to a service application of a user;
an obtaining module 702, configured to obtain, according to the Create PDP Context Request message, information whether the tariff balance of the user can pay the cost of the service application.
Specifically, the querying unit 7021 in the obtaining module 702 queries the tariff balance of the user according to the Create PDP context request message, and the determining unit 7022 determines whether the tariff balance of the user can pay the fee of the service application according to the query result.
Wherein, sending subunit 70211 is configured to send, according to the Create PDP Context Request message, a CCR message to query the charge balance of the user through a Diameter credit control DCC interface to a charging apparatus;
a receiving subunit 70212, configured to receive information that the charging apparatus returns the balance of the user tariff through the CCA message; the information of the user tariff balance may be available balance information of the user, or overdraft balance information or other balance information that the user may finally pay.
The second acquiring subunit 70221 in the determining unit 7022 is configured to acquire information of the cost required by the service application; in the embodiment of the present invention, the second obtaining subunit 70221 is configured to obtain information of the cost required for the MMS application. The second comparing sub-unit 70222 is configured to compare the information of the user's balance received by the receiving sub-unit 60212 with the fee required by the second obtaining sub-unit 70221 to obtain the service application. If the fee balance in the information of the fee balance of the user received by the receiving sub-unit 70212 is greater than or equal to the fee required by the service application acquired by the second acquiring sub-unit 70221, the second determining sub-unit 70223 determines that the fee balance of the user can pay the fee of the service application; otherwise, the second determining subunit 70223 determines that the charge balance of the user cannot pay the charge of the service application.
A response module 703, configured to return a successful PDP context creation response to the SGSN if the second determining subunit 70223 determines that the user cost balance can pay the cost of the service application.
Optionally, if the second determining subunit 70223 determines that the user tariff balance cannot pay the cost of the MMS application, a successful PDP context creation response is returned to the SGSN.
Optionally, if the terminal device receives a successful activate pdp Context Accept message returned by the SGSN of the visited network, the user establishes an IP channel for using the service, and the terminal device may perform service processing through the IP channel. For example, in the MMS service, the terminal device may send a message to the MMSC through the MM1 interface, the MMSC sends a message to the charging device for authentication and fee deduction through the authentication and fee deduction interface between the MMSC and the charging device, the charging device responds to the fee deduction authentication result to the MMSC, the MMSC responds to the MM1 interface message to the terminal device, and the terminal device successfully sends the MMS.
The embodiment of the invention returns the successful PDP context creating response to the SGSN under the condition of confirming that the cost balance of the user can pay the cost of the current service application by judging whether the cost balance of the user can pay the information of the cost of the current service application of the user. The loss of communication flow caused by service application failure due to insufficient user balance in the roaming process is avoided, and the waste of network resources is reduced.
Referring to fig. 8 in combination, an embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus for implementing service control in roaming, including: a receiving module 801, an obtaining module 802, and a responding module 803; the obtaining module 802 may include a triggering unit 8021 and a receiving module 8022. The device for realizing service control in roaming provided by the embodiment of the invention can be applied to various communication services, such as MMS, short message and the like.
Specifically, when a user sends a service application, an Activate PDP Context Request is first sent to an SGSN of a visited network through a terminal device, the SGSN of the visited network receives the Activate PDP Context Request sent by the terminal device, and sends a Create PDP Context Request to a device that implements service control during roaming.
A receiving module 801, configured to receive a Create PDP Context Request message sent by an SGSN of a visited network according to a service application of a user;
an obtaining module 802, configured to obtain, according to the Create PDP Context Request message, information whether the tariff balance of the user can pay the service application fee.
Specifically, the triggering unit 8021 in the obtaining module 802 triggers the charging device to determine whether the user fee balance can pay the service application fee according to the request; the charging device judges whether the user charge balance can pay the service application charge or not according to the trigger. The receiving unit 8022 receives the result information of whether the user's balance of the fee can pay the fee applied by the service, which is returned by the charging device.
A response module 803, configured to return a successful PDP context creation response to the SGSN if the result information indicates that the service application can be paid by the user tariff balance. Optionally, if the result information is that the user tariff balance cannot pay the service application, a failed PDP context creation response is returned to the SGSN.
The embodiment of the invention returns the successful PDP context creating response to the SGSN by receiving the result information whether the cost balance of the user can pay the cost of the current service application of the current user or not and under the condition that the result information is that the cost balance of the user can pay the cost of the current service application. The loss of communication flow caused by service application failure due to insufficient user balance in the roaming process is avoided, and the waste of network resources is reduced.
As will be apparent to those skilled in the art from this disclosure, all or part of the steps of the above method can also be implemented by hardware associated with program instructions, and the program can be stored in a computer-readable storage medium, such as: ROM, RAM, or optical disks, etc.
