The SIM card includes: a central processing unit CPU, a program memory (ROM), a working memory (RAM), a data memory (EPROM, EEPROM or Flash), a serial communication unit, an encryption unit and the like.
In actual use, a SIM card will typically have two categories that are functionally identical but differ in form:
1) an ID-1SIM, a card-type SIM card (commonly known as a large card) having a size of 54mm by 35mm, which is as large as a credit card, and which conforms to the international organization for standardization/international electrotechnical commission ISO/IEC 7816-1, 2(ISO/IEC 7816-1, 2) standards for IC cards, like IC cards;
2) a Plug-in SIM, an embedded SIM card (commonly called a small card), which is only 25mm by 15mm in size, is a card that is semi-permanently loaded into a mobile device, for example, a SIM card for a mobile phone user application in the mobile device is an embedded SIM card.
2. Stored data
The data stored in the SIM card can be classified into four types:

In the invention, the service password separated and stored in the SIM card can be stored by an authentication Key (KI), and the authentication and encryption algorithm is transplanted to the service authentication algorithm in the original digital television terminal.
2) Temporarily stored data about the network: such as Location Area Identity (LAI), mobile subscriber temporary identity (TMSI), access forbidden public telephone network code, etc.
3) The associated service code: such as Personal Identification Number (PIN), unlock code (PUK), billing rate, etc.
4) A telephone directory: this is a telephone number that a user of a mobile device, such as a cell phone, can enter at any time.
3. Electrical interface
SIM cards generally have 8 contacts, of which 6 are required for typical mobile devices such as digital television terminals, with specific definitions referring to table 1:

when a user needs to use the IPTV service, the smart card may be inserted into the smart card control unit, where the smart card stores network configuration information of the user, parameters related to the IPTV service, and the like, and the smart card control unit reads information stored in the smart card through a contact C7 of the smart card, where the meaning of the contact of the smart card may refer to table 1.
The specific process for detecting the presence of the smart card is as follows: when the intelligent card is a big card, the card support is arranged at the card inserting position of the digital television terminal, and at the moment, the digital television terminal can detect whether the intelligent card exists in the intelligent card control unit in a mechanical mode. The card support is provided with a high-level contact and a low-level contact, the intelligent card control unit is connected with the high-level contact, when the intelligent card is not inserted, the two contacts are in a closed state, and the digital television terminal detects that the intelligent card control unit is a low-level signal and judges that the intelligent card does not exist; after the intelligent card is inserted, the two contacts are separated, and at the moment, the digital television terminal detects that the intelligent card control unit is a high-level signal, and judges that the intelligent card exists;
when the intelligent card is a small card, the digital television terminal detects whether the intelligent card control unit has the intelligent card or not in a mode of reading the data of the intelligent card: the intelligent card control unit is connected with the C7 contact of the intelligent card, the digital television terminal continuously reads data for a plurality of times through the intelligent card control unit, if no data is read, the intelligent card is judged not to exist, otherwise, the intelligent card is judged to exist; preferably, the digital television terminal can continuously perform 3 data reading operations.
specifically, when the network address access mode corresponding to the network address access mode flag bit is a static IP, reading an IP address stored in Flash as a required network address;
when the network address access mode corresponding to the network address access mode flag bit is dynamic DHCP and authentication is not needed, acquiring a dynamic IP address from a network side as a required network address;
when the network address access mode corresponding to the network address access mode flag bit is dynamic DHCP and needs authentication, reading a DHCP user name and a password stored by Flash, performing authentication, and acquiring a dynamic IP address from a network side as a required network address when the authentication is passed;
when the network address access mode corresponding to the network address access mode zone bit is PPPoE, reading a PPPoE user name and a password stored by Flash, authenticating, and when the authentication is passed, acquiring a dynamic IP address as a required network address in an Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) dialing mode.
103, when detecting that the smart card exists, the digital television terminal reads network configuration parameters pre-stored in the smart card;
in this step, the digital television terminal specifically reads a network address access mode flag bit of a network configuration parameter pre-stored in the smart card, wherein a network address access mode corresponding to the network address access mode flag bit includes a static IP, a dynamic DHCP and no authentication, a dynamic DHCP and authentication, a PPPoE and other modes;
specifically, when the network address access mode corresponding to the network address access mode flag bit read by the digital television terminal is a static IP, step 104 is executed; when the network address access mode corresponding to the network address access mode flag bit is dynamic DHCP and requires authentication, execute step 105; when the network address access mode corresponding to the network address access mode flag bit is dynamic DHCP and does not require authentication, execute step 106; when the network address access mode corresponding to the network address access mode flag bit is PPPoE, step 107 is executed.
105, reading a DHCP user name and a password pre-stored in the smart card by the digital television terminal, authenticating, executing 106 when the authentication is passed, and otherwise, ending the process;
Fig. 4 shows a flow schematic of an authentication embodiment of the IPTV service of the digital television terminal of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 4, the embodiment includes the following steps:
step 1, after acquiring a network address required by an IPTV service, a digital television terminal reads an IPTV service management platform address and a service account of IPTV service parameters stored in advance in an intelligent card;
in this step, the digital television terminal further stores the address of the IPTV service management platform and the service account of the IPTV service parameter in the local Flash, so as to be compatible with the starting mode when the smart card does not exist. Generally, for security, the service password in the IPTV service related parameter is not allowed to be read from the smart card, and is not stored locally, and when the digital tv terminal is started without the smart card, the user is required to input the service password information.
Step 2, after receiving the read information of the digital television terminal, the smart card returns the stored IPTV service management platform address and the stored service account number to the digital television terminal;
step 3, the digital television terminal sends a user service authentication request, also called a user authentication request, to the IPTV service management platform through an HTTP Get mode in a hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) according to the IPTV service management platform address;
in this step, the user authentication request includes parameters such as a service account.
Step 4, the IPTV service management platform randomly generates parameters required by a service authentication algorithm;
specifically, the Encry Token field is one of parameters required by the service authentication algorithm;
step 5, the IPTV service management platform returns parameters required by the service authentication algorithm to the digital television terminal in the form of HTTP response;
6-7, the digital television terminal receives parameters required by a service authentication algorithm returned by the IPTV service management platform and sends the parameters required by service authentication to the smart card;
preferably, the digital television terminal can form the acquired parameters required by the service authentication into a parameter string and issue the parameter string to the smart card in the form of the formed parameter string;
in this step, the parameters required for service authentication include: a digital television terminal ID, a user account, an MAC address, an Encry Token field and the like; for example: the parameter string of required parameters may be formed as follows: random + "$" + EncryToken + "$" + UserID + "$" + STBID + "$" + IP + "$" + MAC + "$" + Reserved + "$" + "CTC".
8-9, the smart card runs a pre-stored service authentication algorithm, and uploads the calculated service authentication value, namely an authentication character string, to the digital television terminal;
specifically, the smart card uses a service password of an IPTV service parameter stored in advance as an encryption key, carries out encryption calculation on a parameter string of a parameter required by received service authentication, obtains a service authentication value, namely an authentication character string, and uploads the service authentication value to the digital television terminal.
and 11-12, the IPTV service management platform verifies the received authentication character string, when the received authentication character string is the same as the service authentication value calculated by the IPTV service management platform, the authentication is judged to be passed, and when the authentication is passed, an authentication success result is returned in an HTTP response mode.
