本发明提供一种机顶盒视频点播方法,该方法包括:视频点播客户端单元发送视频文件设置请求给视频点播服务器;视频点播服务器返回视频文件信息和视频点播客户端单元的服务质量信息给视频点播客户端单元;视频点播客户端单元对所接收的服务质量信息进行修改,以得到客制化服务质量信息,并将客制化服务质量信息发送给WiMAX客户端单元;WiMAX客户端单元接收客制化服务质量信息,并发送包含所述客制化服务质量信息的服务质量设置请求发送给WiMAX基站。本发明还提供一种机顶盒。

机顶盒及其视频点播方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种机顶盒及其视频点播方法。
背景技术
VOD(vedio on demand)是视频点播技术的简称,也称为交互式视频点播系统,即根据用户的需要播放相应的视频节目。WiMAX(全球微波接入互通)是一项新兴的宽带无线接入技术,是针对微波和毫米波频段提出的一种新的空中接口标准。相对于目前广泛使用的WCDMA和CDMA技术,WiMAX不仅数据传输距离较远,而且还具有QoS(服务质量)保障、传输速率高、业务丰富多样等优点。因此,如何实现在WiMAX网络中提供视频点播服务质量保证将是一门重要的研究课题。然而,目前的WiMAX系统中只定义空口的局部信息,在整个WiMAX接入网端到端的QoS参数和流程定义都是空白,在WiMAX系统中还无法为不同的用户提供不同的服务质量保证。
发明内容
鉴于以上内容,有必要提供一种机顶盒,可以给基于WiMAX网络的视频点播提供客制化的服务质量保证,提高了无线网络视频点播系统的性能。
此外,还有必要提供一种机顶盒视频点播方法,可以给基于WiMAX网络的视频点播提供客制化的服务质量保证,提高了无线网络视频点播系统的性能。
一种机顶盒,该机顶盒通过WiMAX基站与视频点播服务器进行通信,该机顶盒包括视频点播客户端单元和WiMAX客户端单元,其中:所述视频点播客户端单元,用于发送视频设置请求给视频点播服务器,接收视频点播服务器返回的视频文件信息和视频点播客户端单元的服务质量信息,对所接收的服务质量信息进行修改,以得到客制化服务质量信息,并将客制化服务质量信息发送给WiMAX客户端单元;WiMAX客户端单元,用于接收从所述视频点播客户端发送来的客制化服务质量信息,并发送包含所述客制化服务质量信息的服务质量设置请求给WiMAX基站;所述视频点播客户端单元还用于发送视频播放请求给视频点播服务器,接收视频点播服务器返回的视频文件数据流,所述返回的视频文件数据流由WiMAX基站按照所述客制化服务质量信息提供服务质量保证。
一种机顶盒视频点播方法,该机顶盒通过WiMAX基站与视频点播服务器进行通信,该机顶盒包括视频点播客户端单元和WiMAX客户端单元,该方法包括步骤:视频点播客户端单元发送视频文件设置请求给视频点播服务器;视频点播服务器接收视频文件设置请求,并返回视频文件信息和视频点播客户端单元的服务质量信息给视频点播客户端单元;视频点播客户端单元对所接收的服务质量信息进行修改,以得到客制化服务质量信息,并将客制化服务质量信息发送给WiMAX客户端单元;WiMAX客户端单元接收从所述视频点播客户端发送来的客制化服务质量信息,并发送包含所述客制化服务质量信息的服务质量设置请求给WiMAX基站;视频点播客户端单元发送视频播放请求给视频点播服务器;及视频点播服务器返回的视频文件数据流给视频点播客户端单元,所述返回的视频文件数据流由WiMAX基站按照所述客制化服务质量信息提供服务质量保证。
相较现有技术,所述的机顶盒及其视频点播方法,可以给基于WiMAX网络的视频点播提供客制化的服务质量保证,为基于WiMAX网络的视频点播系统提供了更为合理的服务质量参数,提高了无线网络视频点播系统的性能。

具体实施方式
如图1所示,是本发明机顶盒较佳实施例的硬件架构图。所述机顶盒1通过WiMAX网络与WiMAX基站2相连,WiMAX基站2通过互联网3与VOD服务器4相连。
所述VOD服务器4中存储有VOD客户端单元10的QoS信息。在本实施例中,所述QoS信息包括:resource-allocation(资源配置,用来定义资源配置的优先权高低),admission-control(权限控制,当系统达到一定负荷时,用来定义使用者资源使用的优先顺序),congestion-control(拥塞控制,当系统资源吃紧时,用来定义数据包丢弃的优先顺序),buffering(缓冲,用来定义使用者数据包缓冲区的大小),scheduling(排程,用来定义使用者数据包排程的优先顺序),traffic-priority(业务处理优先级,具体取值0-7),max-sustained-traffic-rate(最大持续业务速率,单位kbps),min-reserved-traffic-rate(最小预留业务速率,单位kbps),max-latency(最大时延)。
所述机顶盒1包括VOD客户端单元10和WiMAX客户端单元12,其中:
所述VOD客户端单元10用于发送视频设置请求给VOD服务器4。在本实施例中,所述视频设置请求包括:所点播视频文件的地址(例如:rtsp://172.17.131.26:5012/asset/vscontsrv:0074000230),信号传输所遵循的协议及版本(例如:RTSP/1.0),命令序列号(例如:CSeq:1),VOD客户端单元10所支持文件的格式和文件传输协议(例如:Transport:MP2T/H2221/UDP),接收文件的端口(例如:destination=10.128.1.140:57984),VOD客户端单元10所连接的网络(WiMAX网络)。
所述VOD客户端单元10还用于接收VOD服务器4返回的视频文件信息和VOD客户端单元10的QoS信息。在本实施例中,所述视频文件信息包括:命令序列号(例如:CSeq:1),时域(例如:session:150563f5ed14af9d84),VOD客户端单元10所支持文件的格式和文件传输协议(例如:Transport:MP2T/H2221/UDP),接收文件的端口(例如:destination=10.128.1.140:57984),数据包大小(例如:packet_size=8648/8648/188),文件内容类型(例如:content-type:application/sdp),文件内容长度(例如:content-length:495单位?)。
所述VOD客户端单元10还用于对所接收的QoS信息进行修改,以得到客制化QoS信息,并将客制化QoS信息发送给WiMAX客户端单元12。
所述WiMAX客户端单元12用于接收所述客制化QoS信息,并发送包含所述客制化QoS信息的QoS设置请求给WiMAX基站2。WiMAX基站2接收从所述WiMAX客户端单元12发送来的QoS设置请求,根据接收的QoS设置请求中的客制化QoS信息为VOD客户端单元10所点播的视频文件提供服务质量保证。
所述WiMAX客户端单元12还用于接收WiMAX基站2返回的确认信息,以确认WiMAX基站2已接受QoS设置请求。
所述WiMAX客户端单元12还用于发送确认信息给VOD客户端单元10,以确认已完成QoS客制化设置。
所述VOD客户端单元10还用于发送视频播放请求给VOD服务器4。
所述VOD客户端单元10还用于接收VOD服务器4返回的视频文件数据流。所述返回的视频文件数据流由WiMAX基站2中的客制化QoS信息提供服务质量保证。
如图2所示,是本发明机顶盒视频点播方法的较佳实施例的具体实施流程图。
步骤S10,VOD客户端单元10发送视频文件设置请求给VOD服务器4。
步骤S11,VOD服务器4接收视频文件设置请求,并返回视频文件信息和VOD客户端单元10的QoS信息给VOD客户端单元10。
步骤S12,VOD客户端单元10对所接收的QoS信息进行修改,以得到客制化QoS信息,并将客制化QoS信息发送给WiMAX客户端单元12。
步骤S13,WiMAX客户端单元12接收客制化QoS信息,并发送包含所述客制化QoS信息的QoS设置请求给WiMAX基站2。WiMAX基站2接收QoS设置请求,根据该QoS设置请求中的客制化QoS信息为VOD客户端单元10所点播的视频文件提供服务质量保证。
步骤S14,WiMAX基站2发送确认信息给WiMAX客户端单元12,以确认已完成QoS设置请求。
步骤S15,WiMAX客户端单元12发送确认信息给VOD客户端单元10,以确认已完成QoS客制化设置。
步骤S16,VOD客户端单元10发送视频播放请求给VOD服务器4。
步骤S17,VOD服务器4返回的视频文件数据流给VOD客户端单元10。所述返回的视频文件数据流由WiMAX基站2中的客制化QoS信息提供服务质量保证。

Claims (8)

1.一种机顶盒,该机顶盒通过WiMAX基站与视频点播服务器进行通信,其特征在于,该机顶盒包括视频点播客户端单元和WiMAX客户端单元,其中:
所述视频点播客户端单元,用于发送视频设置请求给视频点播服务器,接收视频点播服务器返回的视频文件信息和视频点播客户端单元的服务质量信息,对所接收的服务质量信息进行修改以得到客制化服务质量信息,并将得到的客制化服务质量信息发送给所述WiMAX客户端单元;
所述WiMAX客户端单元,用于接收从所述视频点播客户端单元发送来的客制化服务质量信息,并发送包含所述客制化服务质量信息的服务质量设置请求给所述WiMAX基站;
所述视频点播客户端单元还用于发送视频播放请求给视频点播服务器,接收视频点播服务器返回的视频文件数据流,所述视频文件数据流由WiMAX基站按照所述客制化服务质量信息提供服务质量保证。
2.如权利要求1所述的机顶盒,其特征在于,所述WiMAX客户端单元还用于接收WiMAX基站返回的确认信息,以确认WiMAX基站已接受服务质量设置请求,及发送确认信息给视频点播客户端单元,以确认已完成服务质量客制化设置。
3.如权利要求1所述的机顶盒,其特征在于,所述视频设置请求包括所点播视频文件的地址、信号传输所遵循的协议及版本、命令序列号、视频点播客户端单元所支持文件的格式和文件传输协议、接收文件的端口和视频点播客户端单元所连接的网络。
4.如权利要求1所述的机顶盒,其特征在于,所述服务质量信息包括资源配置、权限控制、拥塞控制、缓冲、排程、业务处理优先级、最大持续业务速率、最小预留业务速率和最大时延。
5.一种机顶盒视频点播方法,该机顶盒通过WiMAX基站与视频点播服务器进行通信,该机顶盒包括视频点播客户端单元和WiMAX客户端单元,其特征在于,该方法包括步骤:
视频点播客户端单元发送视频文件设置请求给视频点播服务器;
视频点播服务器接收视频文件设置请求,并返回视频文件信息和视频点播客户端单元的服务质量信息给视频点播客户端单元;
视频点播客户端单元对所接收的服务质量信息进行修改,以得到客制化服务质量信息,并将客制化服务质量信息发送给所述WiMAX客户端单元;
WiMAX客户端单元发送包含所述客制化服务质量信息的服务质量设置请求给所述WiMAX基站;
视频点播客户端单元发送视频播放请求给视频点播服务器;及
视频点播服务器返回视频文件数据流给视频点播客户端单元,所述视频文件数据流由WiMAX基站按照所述客制化服务质量信息提供服务质量保证。
6.如权利要求5所述的机顶盒视频点播方法,其特征在于,该方法还包括:
WiMAX基站发送确认信息给WiMAX客户端单元,以确认已完成服务质量设置请求;及
WiMAX客户端单元发送确认信息给视频点播客户端单元,以确认已完成服务质量客制化设置。
7.如权利要求5所述的机顶盒视频点播方法,其特征在于,所述视频设置请求包括所点播视频文件的地址、信号传输所遵循的协议及版本、命令序列号、视频点播客户端单元所支持文件的格式和文件传输协议、接收文件的端口和视频点播客户端单元所连接的网络。
8.如权利要求5所述的机顶盒视频点播方法,其特征在于,所述服务质量信息包括资源配置、权限控制、拥塞控制、缓冲、排程、业务处理优先级、最大持续业务速率、最小预留业务速率和最大时延。
