Abstract

IMS networks and methods are disclosed for providing online charging for supplementary services for a session. The IMS network includes an application server operable to provide at least one supplementary service for a session. When the supplementary service is to be provided, the session is routed to the application server. The application server then provides the supplementary service and also provides charging for the service. To provide charging, the application server generates one or more charging request messages for the supplementary service, and transmits the charging request message for the supplementary service to an online charging system (OCS) of the IMS network. The OCS processes the charging request message accordingly to provide charging for the supplementary service in addition to the session.

Description

In the IMS network to the online charging of supplementary service
Technical field
The present invention relates to the field of IMS network, particularly, relate to the online charging of in the IMS network, carrying out the supplementary service that offers session.
Background technology
Virtual network operator is being embodied as IP Multimedia System (IMS) network the common core network to provide multimedia service by Internet Protocol (IP) network to IMS user. The IMS network by third generation partner plan (3GPP) design, was 3GPP2 at first afterwards.By the IMS equipment (being also referred to as IMS subscriber equipment (UE)) of suitable realization, IMS user can set up session on the IMS network. In order to set up session, signaling message (being sip message) is exchanged to set up carrying to be connected, normally real-time transport protocol (rtp). Then, carrying data (being voice dialogue) exchange between the each side of session.
Except session, the IMS network also is suitable for providing supplementary service to session, and the user who can be used for PSTN with supplementary service is very similar.Supplementary service is comprehensive services sets, and it replenishes the also voice conversation or the data session of supporting telephone type. For example, supplementary service can comprise changes (CDIV) before caller identification shows (OIP), caller identification restriction (OIR), called identification demonstration (TIP), called identification restriction (TIR), communication, communicating by letter keeps (HOLD), communication to forbid (CB), Messages-Waiting indication (MWI), meeting (CONF), explicit communication switching (ECT) etc.
3GPP has also defined the billing architecture of IMS network, and it comprises off-line accounting system and Online Charging System.Off-line accounting system provides postpaid accounting, and the meaning is that business at first is provided, and IMS user is presented the bill subsequently. It is that IMS user must have account balance before business is provided that Online Charging System (OCS) provides prepaid accounting, the meaning, and when business is provided account balance by debit.
OCS comprises online billing function, account balance management function (ABMF) and appraisal function (RF).ABMF keeps the quantity of service unit in IMS user's account. The appraisal function is determined the professional expense of using according to the defined price list of Virtual network operator.Online charging functional utilization ABMF and appraisal function are to carry out online charging.
Service element in the IMS network such as Proxy Call Session Control Function (P-CSCF), conference call conversation control function (S-CSCF), application server (AS), comprises charging triggering function (CTF).These CTF are applicable to that monitoring business uses, and generate the charging message of response charging event. Then, CTF sends to OCS so that the online charging that business is used to be provided with charging message.
Online charging can be performed as direct payment (Direct Debiting) or unit keeps (UnitReservation). For direct payment, the online charging function is for single affairs debit unit from IMS user's account immediately.Keep for unit, the online charging function is permitted the quota of unit from IMS user's account, and the quota of unit is offered the request service element. Then, the request service element uses and correspondingly deducts the control of utilizing budget from quota by monitoring business. If the quota of unit is used up, the quota of another unit of service element request so, process continues. After business finished, the total quantity of the unit of deducting from IMS user's account was determined.
The following describes in the IMS network example to session charging.IMS user is by appropriate signaling message (such as the SIP INVITE) or initiate or invited the reception session.S-CSCF is assigned to IMS user to manage this session, and therefore, signaling message passes through S-CSCF.In response to receiving IMS user signaling message, S-CSCF contact home subscriber server (HSS) is with visit IMS user's user profiles.Except out of Memory, the rank of the business that user profiles indication IMS user orders, any supplementary service that the user orders etc.It is the prepaid user that user profiles is also indicated IMS user. Therefore, in response to the beginning that detects session, the CTF initiation among the S-CSCF (or as some 3GPP technical specification IMS gateway of being advised) is to the online charging of this session. In order to initiate online charging, CTF generates Diameter Ro credit control request (CCR) [INITIAL] message of the beginning that shows session, and with CCR[INITIAL] message sends to OCS.
Then, the online charging function treatment CCR[INITIAL among the OCS] information in the message with identification IMS user, determine the medium type of session etc., and with the appraisal of this information and out of Memory visit appraisal function with definite session. The online charging function is also visited ABMF to determine whether IMS user has enough account balances with initiation session, if then determine to permit how many service units for this session. Then, the online charging function generates Credit Control Answer (CCA) [INITIAL] message, and with CCA[INITIAL] message sends to S-CSCF.CCA[INITIAL] message shows that session is allowed to, and also shows the quantity of the quota of permitting for this session.
S-CSCF (or IMS gateway) receives CCA[INITIAL] message, and performance of budget control. For budget control, S-CSCF discerns the quota of service unit, and reduces quota along with session persistence. If the CTF among the S-CSCF discerns another charging event, then S-CSCF generates CCR[UPDATE] message. For example, charging event can comprise the SIP 200 OK message of confirmation of receipt SIP INVITE, RE-INVITE or UPDATE message, can comprise the using up of quota of service unit, can comprise the expiration of validity timer etc.S-CSCF is with CCR[UPDATE] message sends to OCS.The similar process of online charging function executing generates CCA[UPDATE session being permitted the quota (if available) of another service unit] message, and with CCA[UPDATE] message sends to S-CSCF.CCA[UPDATE] message shows that session is allowed to continue, and also shows the quota of the extra service unit that permits for session.
S-CSCF (or IMS gateway) receives CCA[UPDATE] message, and once more the quota performance of budget of new allowance is controlled.Suppose in certain time afterwards conversation end.In response to the end of identification session, CTF among the S-CSCF generates CCR[TERMINATION] message, and with CCR[TERMINATION] message sends to OCS.CCR[TERMINATION] message shows the quantity of the service unit that is used for session (perhaps be used for the duration of session or be used for last quota that the online charging function is permitted). Then, the online charging function solves the total payoff of session from IMS user's account in ABMF.
During IMS user's session, one or more supplementary services can be called. In order to call supplementary service, S-CSCF will talk about and be routed to the application server that is used to provide supplementary service, such as telco application server (TAS).For example, S-CSCF can send to the SIP INVITE application server and be routed to application server talking about. Then, application server provides supplementary service to session, and will speech channel by returning S-CSCF.
A problem of current I MS online charging is that supplementary service can not be chargeed separately. If IMS user subscribes to the prepaid plans that comprises one or more supplementary services, then which supplementary service the defined price list of Virtual network operator can be selected to change by IMS user according to.For example, if IMS user selects more supplementary service, has the defined price list of higher Virtual network operator for this IMS user so.Therefore, when IMS user participated in session, according to selected supplementary service, session was chargeed with higher price list.If one or more supplementary services are provided by application server during session, then these supplementary services are not chargeed separately, and only are the parts of all expenses of session.Virtual network operator may be owing to supplementary service being chargeed separately and losing a large amount of the income unfortunately.
Summary of the invention
Embodiments of the invention are by being provided for dividually the function of supplementary service charging being solved the above-mentioned problem relevant with other with session in the IMS network. When application server when session provides supplementary service, application server generates charging request message, such as Diameter credit control request (CCR) message, and charging request message is sent to OCS.Then, OCS will provide the online charging to supplementary service, with session is carried out very similar, but OCS uses same IMS charging identifier that supplementary service is associated with session.Because application server sends charging request message to OCS and provides supplementary service with response, therefore, Virtual network operator can charge separately to supplementary service effectively, and also session is chargeed. Therefore, Virtual network operator can obtain to provide the income of supplementary service.
The IMS network that is used to provide to the online charging of the supplementary service of session is provided one embodiment of the present of invention. The IMS network comprises the conversation control system that is used to provide the application server of at least one supplementary service and is used for managing conversation. When operation, conversation control system receives one or more signaling messages that are used for session, and the identification supplementary service offers the trigger of session. Then, conversation control system will be talked about and be routed to application server. When session was routed to application server, application server provided supplementary service.Application server also generates one or more charging request message that are used for supplementary service, and the charging request message that will be used for supplementary service sends to the Online Charging System (OCS) of IMS network.Charging request message can be used for conversation-based charging or based on the charging of incident.OCS correspondingly handles charging request message so that the charging to supplementary service and session to be provided.
In another embodiment, for charging request message defines one or more new AVP, charging request message can be a Diameter Ro message.Application server is discerned the charge information of supplementary service, and the charge information of supplementary service is inserted among the AVP of charging request message.

When session was initiated, in step 202, the CTF in the conversation control system 102 detected the charging event of session. The charging event of this moment comprises the beginning of session, such as the reception of SIP INVITE.In step 204, conversation control system 102 (or the CTF in the conversation control system 102) generates the charging request message of session. In the beginning of session, charging request message is " initial (initial) " message, and the beginning of indication session. An example of initial charging request message is Diameter Ro credit control request (CCR) [INITIAL] message.Conversation control system 102 sends to OCS 120 with charging request message.
To the online charging of session represent with based on the charging of incident relative have a conversation-based charging (conversation-based charging (SBC)) that unit keeps.Adopt conversation-based charging, the mandate of initial charging request message request connection session, and also ask the quota so that the budget control of service units to be performed to OCS 120.
OCF 122 among the OCS 120 handles the information of initial charging request message with the identification session, such as IMS user's identity, the medium type of session etc.In step 206, OCF 122 usefulness session informations visit RF 126 is to determine the appraisal of session.OCF 122 also visits ABMF 124 to determine whether IMS user has enough account balances with initiation session, if then determine to permit how many service units for session. In step 208, OCF 122 permits the quota of service unit from IMS user's account according to appraisal, account balance etc. then. Then, OCF 122 generates the charging response message of the quota that comprises the service unit that is permitted.Charge response message is " initially " message, and indicates the initial quota of permitting for session. An example of initial charge response message is Diameter Ro Credit Control Answer (CC A) [INITIAL] message. Then, OCF 122 sends to conversation control system 102 with charge response message.
Conversation control system 102 receives charge response message from OCS 120, and handles quota and any other relevant information that charge response message is permitted with identification. In step 212, conversation control system 102 quotas according to the unit that is permitted are to this session performance of budget control. For budget control, conversation control system 102 reduces the quota of service unit along with session persistence. Then, method 200 turns back to step 202.
In step 202, conversation control system 102 detects another charging event by its CTF during session. This charging event can comprise the SIP 200OK message of confirmation of receipt SIP INVITE, RE-INVITE or UPDATE message, can comprise the using up of quota of the service unit that is permitted, and can comprise the expiration of validity timer etc.In response to detecting charging event, conversation control system 102 generates another charging request message of session in step 204.This time point in session, charging request message are " upgrading (update) " message. An example that upgrades charging request message is CCR[UPDATE] message.Conversation control system 102 sends to OCS120 with charging request message.
OCF 122 among the OCS 120 handles the information of charging request message with the identification session of upgrading. In step 206, OCF 122 usefulness session informations visit RF 126 is to determine the appraisal of session. This step is not essential for updating message, and still, one or more conversation description parameters of this session may change, and this may change appraisal.OCF 122 also visits ABMF 124 to determine whether IMS user has enough account balances to continue session, if then determine to permit what service units for this session. In step 208, OCF 122 permits the quota of service unit from IMS user's account according to appraisal, account balance etc. Then, OCF 122 generates the charging response message that comprises the quota of the service unit that is permitted and indicate session to be allowed to continue.Charge response message is " renewal " message, and indicates the next quota of permitting for session. An example that upgrades charge response message is CC A[UPDATE] message. Then, OCF 122 sends to conversation control system 102 with charge response message.
Conversation control system 102 receives charge response message from OCS 120, and handles quota and any other relevant information that charge response message is permitted with identification. In step 212, conversation control system 102 quotas according to the unit that is permitted are to session performance of budget control. Then, method 200 turns back to step 202.
Conversation control system 102 can detect one or more other the charging event that trigger to upgrade charging request message during session.Yet at certain time point, session will finish. In step 202, conversation control system 102 detects another charging event by its CTF during session. The charging event of this moment comprises the end of session, such as the reception of SIP END message. In step 204, conversation control system 102 generates another charging request message of session. This point in session, charging request message are " termination " message. An example that stops charging request message is CCR[TERMINATION] message.Stop the indication that charging request message can be included in the total quantity of the service unit that consumes during the session, perhaps can comprise the indication of the quantity of remaining service unit from last quota.Conversation control system 102 sends to OCS 120 with charging request message.
Because OCF 122 determines that session finishes, therefore, OCF 122 handles and stops charging request message to discern having consumed how many service units for this session. In step 214, OCF 122 solves the expense of this session in IMS user's account. When solving account, according to the duration of session, correct Board Lot is deducted from IMS user's account. Then, method 200 finishes.
During IMS user's as described above session, one or more supplementary services can be called. In order to call supplementary service, conversation control system 102 will be talked about and be routed to the application server 104 that is used to provide supplementary service. For example, conversation control system 102 can send SIPINVITE message to application server 104 and be routed to application server 104 talking about. Then, application server 104 provides supplementary service to session, and will speech channel by returning conversation control system 102.
According to embodiment described here, supplementary service is independent of conversationally charges.Fig. 3 is illustrated in execution in the illustrative examples of the present invention to the flow chart of the method 300 of the online charging of supplementary service.Method 300 has been described the basic step to the online charging of supplementary service, but also can carry out other step when needs or when requiring.
When session was routed to application server 104, in step 302, application server provided supplementary service.Application server 104 comprises the CTF that is used for supplementary service, and it is used for detecting charging event when application server 104 provides supplementary service. In step 304, application server 104 generates the charging request message that is used for supplementary service. Can be performed as direct payment (for example, instant event charging (IEC)) or unit keeps (for example, have conversation-based charging (SBC) that unit keeps or based on the charging (ECUR) of incident) to the online charging of supplementary service. For direct payment, the mandate of charging request message request supplementary service, this supplementary service will be chargeed as single affairs.Keep for unit, the mandate of charging request message request supplementary service, and request is used for the quota of the service unit of this supplementary service. In step 306, application server 104 sends to OCS 120 with the charging request message of supplementary service.
OCF 122 receives charging request message, and determines that this charging request message is used for the direct payment charging or unit keeps charging. If charging request message is to be used for direct payment to charge, then in step 308, OCF 122 visit RF 126 are to determine the appraisal of supplementary service. In step 310, OCF122 also visits ABMF 124 with the account of basis to the determined appraisal debit of supplementary service IMS user.OCF 122 will be using same IMS charging identifier with supplementary service with call RF 126 and ABMF 124 during session is associated.OCF 122 also will send to application server 104 charge response message that supplementary service is authorized to provide will be provided.
Keep if charging request message is used for unit, so in step 312, OCF 122 visit RF 126 are to determine the appraisal of supplementary service. When supplementary service was associated with session, appraisal also can be depending on session. In step 314, OCF 122 visit ABMF 124 are to permit the quota of service unit according to the appraisal of supplementary service. In step 316, OCF 122 generates the quota that shows the service unit that permits for supplementary service and the charge response message that supplementary service is authorized to provide also is provided.Charge response message is " initially " message, and indicates the initial quota that supplementary service is permitted. An example of initial charge response message is Diameter CCA[INITIAL] message. Then, OCF122 sends to application server 104 with charge response message.
Application server 104 receives charge response message from OCS 120, and handles quota and other relevant information that this charge response message is permitted with identification. In step 318, application server 104 is controlled the supplementary service performance of budget according to the quota of the unit that is permitted. For budget control, application server 104 reduces the quota of service unit when supplementary service is provided. Then, method 300 turns back to step 302.When supplementary service is provided, method 300 will with method 200 the same continuation.
In step 302, application server 104 detects another charging event by its CTF during supplementary service. This charging event can comprise the using up of quota of the service unit that is permitted, and can comprise the expiration of validity timer etc.In response to detecting charging event, in step 304, application server generates another charging request message that is used for supplementary service. At this moment, charging request message is " renewal " message. An example that upgrades charging request message is CCR[UPDATE] message. In step 306, application server sends to OCS 120 with charging request message.
OCF 122 among the OCS 120 handles the information of charging request message with the identification supplementary service of upgrading. In step 312, OCF 122 visit RF 126 are to determine the appraisal of supplementary service. This step is optional for updating message, and still, some thing may change, and this can change appraisal.OCF 122 also visits ABMF 124 to determine whether IMS user has enough account balances to continue supplementary service, if then determine to permit how many service units for this supplementary service. In step 314, OCF permits the quota of service unit from IMS user's account according to appraisal, account balance etc. Then, OCF 122 generates and comprises the quota of the service unit that is permitted and the charge response message of indicating supplementary service to be allowed to continue.Charge response message is the next quota that " renewal " message and indication are permitted supplementary service. An example that upgrades charge response message is CCA[UPDATE] message. Then, OCF 122 sends to application server 104 with charge response message.
Application server 104 receives charge response message from OCS 120, and handles quota and any other relevant information that this charge response message is permitted with identification. In step 318, application server 104 quotas according to the unit that is permitted are to session performance of budget control. Then, method 300 turns back to step 302.
Application server 104 can detect during supplementary service and trigger the one or more extra charging event that upgrades charging request message.Yet at certain time point, supplementary service will finish. In step 302, application server 104 detects another charging event by its CTF during supplementary service.Charging event at this moment can comprise the end of supplementary service. In step 304, application server generates another charging request message that is used for supplementary service. This point in supplementary service, charging request message are " termination " message. An example that stops charging request message is CCR[TERMINATION] message.Stop the indication that charging request message can be included in the total quantity of the service unit that consumes during the supplementary service, perhaps can comprise the indication of the quantity of remaining service unit from last quota. In step 306, application server sends to OCS 120 with charging request message.
Because OCF 122 determines that supplementary service finishes, therefore, OCF 122 handles this termination charging request message and has consumed how many service units with identification for supplementary service. As the step 214 at Fig. 2, OCF 122 solves the expense of supplementary service in IMS user's account. In solving account, according to the duration of supplementary service, the quantity of correct unit is deducted from IMS user's account.
In the above-described embodiments, application server 104 sends the charging request message that is used to provide supplementary service to OCS 120, and is very similar to the charging request message that OCS 120 transmissions are used for session with conversation control system 102.Therefore, supplementary service can be chargeed dividually with session. Therefore, Virtual network operator has the flexibility that supplementary service is chargeed separately, and this can be Virtual network operator and brings extra income.
In Fig. 1, interface 108 comprises the Diameter Ro interface, and its new property value that is used for supplementary service strengthens (AVP).When OCS 120 when application server 104 receives the charging request message of the supplementary service AVP with new introducing, OCF 122 will know that what supplementary service is related to, and will use the mechanism that is used for supplementary service charging of new introducing. If do not present supplementary service AVP in Ro interface, OCF 122 charges session as normal conversation so.
Utilize the supplementary service information of being introduced, in this embodiment, OCF 122 is enhanced to be used for the charge mode of supplementary service below supporting.A kind of charge mode is with differential rate supplementary service to be chargeed, as normal conversation.Another kind of pattern is with different rates different supplementary services to be chargeed. For example, the calling transfer charging rate shows that with calling charging rate is different.Another kind of pattern be according to call time duration, the traffic, event number etc. supplementary service is chargeed, as circulation expense, acyclic expense or cost of use.Another kind of pattern is to charge with different rates other side to supplementary service.Another kind of pattern is the credit fragment of distributing the different sides that participate in session to conversation control system 102 and application server 104.For example, in calling transfer was called out, A side made a call, and application server 104 determines that B side wants his/her long-range mobile number (C side) is transferred in this calling.OCS 120 receives supplementary service AVP from application server 104, and definite A side is the prepaid user and the section I (A is to B) that is responsible for chargeing, determine that B side is the fixed line user and the section II (B is to C) that is responsible for chargeing, determine that C side is pre-payment mobile phone and the air time of being responsible for it.OCF 120 discerns the accounts information of A side, B side and C side from ABMF 124, and charge information is sent to valuation engine 126 with the calling appraisal to the three parts. Then, OCS 120 is according to price list and remaining sum, to the tripartite credit of application server 104 issues.
For the Ro interface 108 that strengthens, new supplementary service AVP is defined as the part of " business-information " AVP.New AVP can be called as " replenishing-business-information ", although also can use other title.Additional-business-information A VP comprises the information that is used for the supplementary service charging that offers session.Additional-business-information is " grouping (Grouped) " type, and can have following ABNF grammer:
Replenish-business-information: :=

Additional-business-information A VP considers the charging rate table of supplementary service flexibly. In an example, different charging rate tables can be used according to the supplementary service type. For example, the charging rate table of Call Forwarding can be different from the charging rate table of calling out switching. In another example, different charging rate tables can be used according to different business models. For example, for the Call Forwarding supplementary service, the charging rate table of unconditioned call connection can be different from the charging rate table of calling forwarding on busy.In another example, different charging rate tables can be used according to different business actions. For example, except normal supplementary service use (for example, for the session of Call Forwarding, 5 fens/minute), for supplementary service activation or deexcitation additional acyclic expense (for example, activating or deexcitation Call Forwarding supplementary service) is arranged. In another example, different charging rate tables can be used according to supplementary service time started and supplementary service dwell time. For example, from the supplementary service time started to the supplementary service dwell time, but OCS 120 application cycle expenses (such as, for the call barring supplementary service , $2/ month).
Additional-business-information A VP considers that Virtual network operator defines the charging rate table according to AVP combination and other metering data, to realize supplementary service charging more flexibly. For example, charging can be based on above-mentioned any AVP combination. For example, for Virtual network operator A, supplementary service 1 usefulness supplementary service uses rate (2 fens/minute) and additional circulation expense (such as moon circulation expense) to charge. For the B of operator, supplementary service only uses circulation expense (Zhu Ru $5/ month circulation expense) to charge, but the normal supplementary service use in the daily routines is free.In another example, charging can be based on AVP and account data promotional policy. For example, the professional quilt charging of preceding 15 call barrings every month is 10 fens/each business. After 15 call barring business, each call barring is professional to be 5 fens by chargeing.
Additional-business-information allows OCS to distribute additional charged party for some supplementary service. For example, use associated-number AVP and business model, OCS 120 can find out other charged party of being responsible for, and checks the validity of its account.OCS 120 can also check the charging rate table in supplementary service in many ways. The quota that OCS 120 can also permit in many ways to application server 104 from their account. If a side or can not be authorized to (for example, not having effective account or remaining sum to be lower than threshold value) in many ways, OCS 120 can notify application server 104 refusal supplementary service or sessions so.
Fig. 4-5 is illustrated in the IMS network 100 example to supplementary service charging.Fig. 4 is the message diagram to the example of the instant event charging (IEC) of supplementary service that is illustrated in the illustrative examples of the present invention. In Fig. 4, suppose that the user of IMS equipment 110 has been provided by abbreviated dialing (ABD) business that is provided by application server 104.The user of IMS equipment 110 creates the Tel URI with the local number that is configured to abbreviated dialing number. In order to initiate voice conversation, IMS equipment 110 generates the SIP INVITE with the request URI that is configured to the Tel URI that created. Then, IMS equipment 110 sends to conversation control system 102 with INVITE.In response to INVITE, the CTF in the conversation control system 102 sends Diameter Ro CCR[INITIAL to OCS 120] message to be to keep the quota of service unit according to the remaining sum in user's the account.OCS 120 determines whether the user of IMS equipment 110 has enough service units and be used for voice conversation in his/her account. If user's remaining sum is sufficient, OCS 120 is at CCA[INITIAL so] use the quota response session control system 102 of being permitted in the message.
According to the user-defined inceptive filtering criterion (iFC) that is IMS equipment 110, conversation control system 102 is routed to application server 104 with INVITE.Behind the INVITE that receives the Tel URI that comprises " phone-congtext " parameter that has local number and equal home network domain name, application server 104 determines that voice conversation is intended to go to abbreviated number. Before application server 104 was attempted to convert abbreviated number to normal call number, application server 104 sent CCR[EVENT to OCS 120] whether message have the extra charge that enough service units are used for the ABD business with the user who determines IMS equipment 110 in his/her account. If user's remaining sum is used for the extra charge deficiency of ABD among the OCS 120, OCS 120 result that will fail is at CCA[EVENT so] send it back conversation control system 102 in the message, voice conversation will be rejected.According to from CCA[EVENT] termination reason in the message, the corresponding error code of application server 104 usefulness sends to IMS equipment 110 with SIP 3xx/4xx/5xx.
If user's remaining sum enough is used for the extra charge of ABD, then OCS 120 upgrades user's account to deduct extra charge from account in ABMF 124.OCS 120 also with the result of success at CCA[EVENT] send it back conversation control system 102 in the message. After receiving the return results of success, application server 104 provides ABD business by the public user identity that the local number among the request URI that will be received is mapped to the past destination of going.Application server 104 also uses the result of being shone upon to replace the interior request URI of INVITE that is received. Then, application server 104 sends to conversation control system 102 with INVITE.
In response to INVITE, conversation control system 102 determines that callee's number is changed (that is, the ABD number is converted into normal directory number).Conversation control system 102 is also with DiameterRo CCR[UPDATE] message sends to the service unit that OCS 120 is permitted for IMS equipment 110 with reauthentication.OCS 120 will be according to the CCR[UPDATE that is received] the credit control of message reauthentication IMS equipment 110, and at CCA[UPDATE] service unit that is permitted is sent to conversation control system 102 in the message.
Then, conversation control system 102 is forwarded to the past destination of going with INVITE, and it is represented as UE-2.IMS equipment 110 and UE-2 set up the message transmission to set up voice conversation according to normal session. When session is established, conversation control system 102 also will be carried out normal online charging function to voice conversation.
When IMS equipment 110 finished voice conversation, IMS equipment 110 sent SIP BYE message to discharge voice conversation to conversation control system 102.In response to BYE message, conversation control system 102 sends Diameter Ro CCR[TERMINATION to OCS 120] message to be to send the current charging to voice conversation.OCS 120 deducts this expense from user's account, and at CCA[TERMINATION] service unit that is permitted is returned to conversation control system 102 in the message.Conversation control system 102 also sends BYE message to application server 104 and UE-2.
Because conversation control system 102 and application server 104 all send CCR message to OCS 120, therefore, this voice conversation are had two expenses. The expense that ABD business (IEC) at first, arranged. The expense that voice conversation (SBC) secondly, arranged. Therefore, advantageously, ABD is professional to charge dividually with voice conversation.
Fig. 5 is the message diagram that is illustrated in the example with charging based on incident (ECUR) that unit keeps of supplementary service in the illustrative examples of the present invention.Suppose that calling party (UE-2) wants to initiate and the voice conversation that just is being busy with the IMS equipment 110 of another session. In order to initiate voice conversation, UE-2 generates the SIP INVITE, and INVITE is sent to conversation control system 102.According to the user-defined inceptive filtering criterion (iFC) that is IMS equipment 110, conversation control system 102 is routed to application server 104 with INVITE.CTF in the conversation control system 102 also sends Diameter Ro CCR[INITIAL to OCS 120] message, to keep the quota of service unit according to the remaining sum in user's the account.OCS 120 determines whether the user of IMS equipment 110 has enough service units and be used for voice conversation in his/her account. If user's remaining sum is sufficient, OCS 120 is at CCA[INITIAL so] use the quota response session control system 102 of being permitted in the message.
Then, conversation control system 102 sends INVITE to set up voice conversation to IMS equipment 110.In response to INVITE, IMS equipment 110 sends the SIP 486 Busy Here message that show that it is just busy to conversation control system 102.Conversation control system 102 sends to application server 104 with 486 Busy Here message. Then, application server 104 usefulness SIP ACK message response IMS equipment 110.In response to 486 Busy Here message, conversation control system 102 sends CCR[TERMINATION to OCS 120] message to be to solve the charging to user's account.OCS 120 uses CCA[TERMINATION] message responds.
Application server 104 determines that the user of IMS equipment 110 has subscribed to the voice mail safe-keeping.Then, application server 104 sends CCR[INTIAL to OCS 120] message, and supplementary service message AVP is set to the voice mail keeping. The ECUR that OCS 120 carries out the voice mail keeping, and from user's account, keep voice mail keeping extra charge. Then, OCS 120 with the result of success at Diameter CCA[INITIAL] send it back application server 104 in the message.
Selectively, application server 104 sends " SIP 181 calls out just by preceding commentaries on classics " message to notify the UE-2 voice conversation by preceding commentaries on classics.Application server 104 also sends INVITE to voice mail application server (VMS).UE-2 and VMS exchange message are subsequently called out with the keeping speech message to set up.Then, the user of UE-2 can write down voice mail message in the Voice Mailbox of IMS equipment 110.
When UE-2 finished the record voice mail message, UE-2 sent SIPBYE message to discharge voice conversation to conversation control system 102.Conversation control system 102 arrives application server 104 with the BYE forwards. In response to BYE message, application server 104 sends CCR[TERMINATION to OCS 120] message finishes with the keeping of notice OCS 120 mails.OCS 120 deducts the VM keeping extra charge that is kept from user's account, and returns Diameter CCA[TERMINATION to application server 104] message.Application server 104 arrives VMS with the BYE forwards, VMS SIP 200OK message response, and this SIP 200OK message finally is routed back UE-2.
Because conversation control system 102 and application server 104 all send CCR message to OCS 120, therefore, for current voice conversation two expenses are arranged. The first, safe-keeping has expense to voice mail. The second, voice conversation there is expense. Therefore, advantageously, voice mail safe-keeping and voice conversation charge dividually.
Although described specific embodiment at this, scope of the present invention is not limited to these specific embodiments.Scope of the present invention is by accompanying Claim and be equal to and limit.
