Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of communication, in particular to a mobile terminal and a screen visual effect adjusting method thereof.
Background
With the rapid development of mobile communication technology, the functions of mobile terminals such as mobile phones are increasingly diversified, and besides the common communication functions, the mobile terminals can also provide various functions such as personal information management, multimedia playing, electronic books, games, and the like. Meanwhile, the screen of the mobile terminal is also developed from a past monochrome, small-sized, and low-resolution liquid crystal screen to a present true color, large-sized, high-resolution, and touch control-enabled liquid crystal screen. Although the mobile terminal may have a better display effect by using a graphical user interface, the mobile terminal is accompanied by a large increase in power consumption (the increase in screen size and backlight causes a large increase in power consumption in the entire system) and complicated operation steps for adjusting visual effects (including screen brightness, backlight on/off, font size, window assembly size, background color, and the like).
The way that users use mobile phones in different situations can be different, which can lead to different requirements for the visual effect of the screen, such as the requirement for adjusting brightness or font size. However, the inventor found that in the related art, when the user needs to adjust the visual effect of the mobile phone, the user needs to manually operate the mobile phone, which increases the user's trouble and takes much time.
For example, when the user does not need to use a mobile phone, the screen needs to be manually closed; or, after waiting for a certain period of time, the handset can turn off the screen, which is troublesome for the user, takes much time, and causes unnecessary power consumption.
At present, a method for adjusting the visual effect of a mobile phone screen is proposed, in which a light sensor is integrated in a mobile phone, and the backlight brightness of the mobile phone screen is set according to the detection result of the intensity of ambient light to solve the above-mentioned problem. However, in some applications, the using state of the mobile phone cannot be correctly reflected according to the intensity of the light of the external environment, and the method can only adjust the screen brightness and cannot adjust the whole visual effect. Therefore, in order to obtain a good visual effect according to the actual application scene, the user still needs to manually operate the mobile phone, so that the problems of troublesome operation and more time consumption still exist.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is directed to a mobile terminal and a method for adjusting a screen visual effect thereof, so as to at least solve the above-mentioned problems.

Detailed Description
The invention will be described in detail hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings in conjunction with embodiments. It should be noted that the embodiments and features of the embodiments in the present application may be combined with each other without conflict.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the mobile terminal includes:
the sensor 10 is used for acquiring the actual distance between the screen of the mobile terminal and a front object;
a judging module 20, configured to judge whether the actual distance obtained by the sensor 10 is within a preset distance interval for the user to operate the mobile terminal;
and an adjusting module 30, configured to adjust the visual effect attribute of the screen according to the judgment of the judging module 20.
The sensor 10 is a distance sensor, and the current distance sensor measures the distance between the sensor and the front obstacle based on receiving infrared rays or ultrasonic waves reflected by the front obstacle, the measurement accuracy reaches the centimeter level, and the distance sensor is widely applied to various fields such as robots and automobiles. At present, a low-power consumption distance sensor with the volume less than 5mm is available and can be integrated on a mobile terminal.
According to the embodiment, the actual distance between the screen of the mobile terminal and the front object is measured by the sensor, and the visual effect attributes (including backlight brightness, font, window component size and the like) of the screen are adjusted according to whether the actual distance is within the distance interval of the user using the mobile terminal, so that the use scene of the current mobile terminal can be well judged, and the problems that the mobile terminal still needs to be manually operated in the related art, so that the operation is troublesome and the consumed time is more are solved. By using the embodiment, the use state of the mobile terminal can be truly reflected by measuring the actual distance between the mobile terminal and the front object, the visual effect attribute is dynamically adjusted, the operation of a user is facilitated, and the time is saved.
The mobile terminal can be a mobile phone, a PDA and the like.
Wherein the sensor 10 may be located at the same plane and oriented the same as a main screen panel of the mobile terminal. In this way, the actual distance measured by the sensor can be always the distance between the screen of the mobile terminal and the object in front.
Preferably, in the above mobile terminal, the method further includes: a setting module 40 for accepting the maximum value f of the distance interval set by the usermaxAnd minimum value fminAnd habitual visual effect attribute and habitual distance f for user to operate mobile terminalcomWherein the value of the habitual distance is within the distance interval, and the habitual visual effect attribute comprises the level B of the backlight brightness of the habitual screencom. In this way, the user can set the maximum distance (i.e. the maximum value of the distance interval) and the minimum distance (i.e. the minimum value of the distance interval) for daily operation of the mobile terminal according to the habit of the user to set the distance interval, and can also set a customary distance and a customary screen visual effect attribute for daily operation of the mobile terminal, and the parameters set by the user are stored in the mobile terminal, so that the subsequent mobile terminal can adjust the visual effect according to the parameters. When the visual effect attribute is backlight brightness, the effect of reducing the power consumption of the mobile terminal can be achieved.
Preferably, the adjusting module 30 comprises:
a calculating module 301 for calculating a first upgrade step distance f of the backlight brightness of the screenBupAnd a first step distance f of degradationBdownComprises the following steps:
First step down distanceWherein f ismaxIs the maximum value of the distance interval, fminIs the minimum value of the distance interval, fcomFor customary distances, BsumFor adjustable gradation of the backlight brightness of the screen, BcomIs the level of backlight brightness of a conventional screen,the operator is a round-down operator;
an adjusting module 302, configured to adjust the level of the backlight brightness of the screen to P when the determining module 20 determines that the actual distance is within the distance intervalB:
Wherein, PBTo which level the backlight brightness of the screen is to be adjusted, PBcurIs the current level of backlight brightness of the screen, fcurIs the actual distance.
The preferred embodiment provides that when the actual distance measured by the sensor is within the distance interval operated by the user (generally 20 cm-100 cm, the interval is wider, and most commonly 30 cm-50 cm), the user can be considered to be watching the screen of the mobile terminal, and the backlight brightness of the screen suitable for the actual distance can be calculated and adjusted according to the measured actual distance and the parameters set by the user, so that the user can see the screen clearly. In addition, power consumption of the mobile terminal may be further reduced by adjusting the backlight brightness of the screen according to the actual distance.
Preferably, the habitual visual effects attribute of the screen further includes habitual font and window component size;
the calculating module 301 is further configured to calculate a second upgrade step distance f of the font and the window component size of the screenSupAnd a second degradation stepDistance of advance fSdownComprises the following steps:
second upgrade step distance
Second step down distanceWherein S issumNumber of adjustable levels, S, for screen font and window component sizecomA level of idiomatic font and window component size;
the adjusting module 302 is further configured to adjust the font of the screen and the window component size to P when the determining module determines that the actual distance is within the distance intervalS:
Wherein, PSFor the level to which the font of the screen and the size of the window component are to be adjusted, PScurFor the current level of font and window component size of the screen, fcurIs the actual distance.
The preferred embodiment provides that when the actual distance measured by the sensor is within the distance interval operated by the user (generally 20 cm-100 cm, the interval is wider, and most commonly 30 cm-50 cm), the user can be considered to be watching the screen of the mobile terminal, and the font and window component size of the screen suitable for the actual distance can be calculated and adjusted according to the measured actual distance and the parameters set by the user, so that the user can see the screen clearly.
In the above preferred embodiment, when it is determined that the current actual distance is within the preset distance interval of the daily operation, the visual effect may be dynamically adjusted according to the habitual distance preset by the user and the habitual visual effect attribute parameter. For example, if the current actual distance is larger than the customary distance, the screen backlight brightness level should be increased, and the font and window component size should be increased; when the current actual distance is smaller than the customary distance, the screen backlight brightness level should be reduced and the font and window assembly size also need to be reduced. The scheme of dynamically adjusting the visual effect of the screen according to the actual distance between the mobile terminal and the front object can bring good user experience and avoid visual fatigue.
Wherein the sensor 10 periodically acquires the actual distance. The manner in which the sensor 10 periodically obtains the actual distance may include: under the condition that the mobile terminal is in the non-sleep state, the sensor 10 periodically acquires the actual distance according to the period value set by the user and received by the setting module 40 (that is, the setting module 40 is also used for accepting the user to set the period value of the actual distance between the screen of the mobile terminal and the object in front and acquired by the sensor 10); or, the sensor periodically acquires the actual distance according to a preset default period value when the mobile terminal is in the non-sleep state.
The mobile terminal uses the sensor 10 to obtain the actual distance to adjust the visual effect attribute of the screen, which is generally performed when the mobile terminal is in a non-sleep state, and it is considered that the user is operating the mobile terminal. The way of acquiring the actual distance by the sensor 10 is periodic, and the period may be set by a user selection or a default value, for example, the specific value of the period may be 1s, 0.1s, 2s, etc. The smaller the value of the period is set, the more sensitive the mobile terminal is to adjust the visual effect attribute of the screen according to the actual distance obtained by the sensor, but the larger the power consumption is at the same time. In practical implementation, the balance can be achieved by selecting a suitable value according to actual needs.
Preferably, the adjusting module 30 further comprises: a closing module 303, configured to close the backlight brightness of the screen when the determining module 20 determines that the actual distance is outside the distance interval.
Generally, if a user does not operate in a standby state, the mobile terminal is in a dormant state, standby time is increased for reducing power consumption, and a screen and a backlight are both turned off. When a user uses the mobile terminal, the mobile terminal is activated by pressing a key or clicking a touch screen, and the screen backlight is turned on. At the moment, the user watches the screen, and the distance between the user and the mobile terminal is generally kept between 20 cm and 100 cm (the interval is wide in value, and the most common distance is between 30 cm and 50 cm), and the user is not suitable for watching the screen when being too far or too close. Here, the distance range is referred to as a distance range of daily operation. A distance outside the range of the distance section for daily operation may be considered as the user is in a non-viewing screen state. If the sensor 10 measures that the current actual distance is not within the distance interval, it is considered that the user is not looking at the screen of the mobile terminal. Specifically, if the distance is smaller than the minimum value of the distance interval, it can be determined that the user is in a call state or the mobile terminal is put in a pocket; if the current actual distance is larger than the maximum value of the distance interval, the user can be judged to be in a hands-free call state or the mobile terminal is placed on a table. In the above situation, both the screen and the backlight can be turned off, i.e. the backlight brightness is adjusted to 0, thereby reducing the power consumption of the mobile terminal to the maximum.
As shown in fig. 2, in practical implementation, the functions of the determining module 20 and the adjusting module 30 in fig. 1 may be implemented by a main control module 201, and the function of the setting module 40 in fig. 1 may be implemented by a preset visual effect policy module 202 in mobile terminal software.
Wherein, the preset visual effect policy module 202 provides an interactive interface for the user to preset the distance interval of the personal daily habit operation (i.e. the above f)maxAnd fmin) Habitual distance fcomAnd associated visual effect attributes (e.g., level B of backlight brightness for a conventional screen)comAnd a level S of idiomatic font and window component sizecom) These parameters may be collectively referred to as visual effect policy setting parameters, and the set parameters are saved in a permanent storage unit of the mobile terminal. Here, the setting method by the user may be in various forms, and for the convenience of the user, as shown in fig. 3, the following manner may be adopted:
step S302, the preset visual effect policy module 202 starts to operate, and completes initialization of its own graphical interface and data structure. The visual effect policy setting parameters previously set by the user are read from the permanent storage unit of the mobile terminal and displayed to the user through the screen 203. When the user wants to reset, go to step S304;
step S304, the user sets the minimum value of the distance interval for daily operation: prompting the user to place the mobile terminal in the minimum distance that the user can see the screen clearly, and after the user confirms the distance by adopting a key or other operation modes, acquiring the distance at the moment by the sensor 10 and recording the distance as fmin;
Step S306, the user sets the maximum value of the distance interval for daily operation: prompting the user to place the mobile terminal to the maximum distance that the user can see the screen clearly, and after the user confirms the distance by adopting a key or other operation modes, acquiring the distance at the moment by the sensor 10 and recording the distance as fmax;
In step S308, the user sets a habitual value (i.e., the habitual distance) of the distance interval of the daily operation: prompting the user to place the mobile terminal at the most daily used operating distance, and acquiring the distance through the sensor 10 after the user confirms the distance by adopting a key or other modes, and recording the distance as fcom. And, prompting the user to select the setting at the distance fcomAnd (4) setting the visual effect attribute parameters which are used by the user per se. Such as: the level of the conventional screen backlight brightness is marked as Bcom(ii) a And idiomatic font and Window Assembly size, denoted Scom;
In step S310, after the user confirms that the setting is completed, the main control module 201 receives the set parameters, and notifies the display attribute setting parameters that have been modified and updated to the permanent storage unit. The visual effect policy module 202 exits the run.
In addition, optionally, the preset visual effect policy module 202 may further provide an interactive interface for the user to preset the period value T of the actual distance between the screen of the mobile terminal and the object in front, acquired by the sensor 10 (for example, provide several period values for the user to select through the interactive interface), and store the period value T in the permanent storage unit of the mobile terminal. In this way, the sensor 10 can periodically acquire the actual distance to the preceding object in accordance with the set period value T.
The main control module 201, as a main module in the mobile terminal software, controls the sensor 10 to perform distance detection at regular time when the mobile terminal is in a non-sleep state, and dynamically adjusts the visual effect attributes (such as backlight brightness, font and window component size, background color, etc.) of the mobile terminal according to the distance data (i.e. the above actual distance) between the sensor 10 and the object in front of the screen, the visual effect policy setting parameters of the preset visual effect policy module 202, and the current use state of the mobile terminal. For example, when a user takes out the mobile terminal to open a dialing interface to initiate a call, the main control module 201 adjusts the backlight brightness and font of the screen and the size of the window assembly to a certain matching value according to the distance between the current user's face and the screen (i.e. the distance from the sensor 10) to facilitate the user to use; when the call is connected, the user places the mobile terminal at the ear to answer the call, and the main control module 201 can determine that no display is necessary (at this time, it can be determined that the actual distance exceeds the range of the distance interval) according to the actual distance returned by the sensor 10, and can completely turn off the backlight of the screen and other hardware irrelevant to the call state for saving power.
The main control module 201 may calculate an upgrade step distance and a downgrade step distance of the screen backlight brightness, and an upgrade step distance and a downgrade step distance of the font and window component size according to the parameters set by the user through the preset visual effect policy module 202, and store the calculated data in a permanent storage unit of the mobile terminal.
The sensor 10 and the screen 203 belong to the category of hardware and bottom layer drive, and the main control module 201 and the preset visual effect strategy module 202 belong to the category of software subsystems of the mobile terminal.
Fig. 4 is a flowchart of a screen visual effect adjustment method of a mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention, including the following steps:
step S402, acquiring the actual distance between the screen of the mobile terminal and a front object;
step S404, judging whether the acquired actual distance is within a preset distance interval for the user to operate the mobile terminal;
step S406, adjusting the visual effect attribute of the screen according to the judgment result.
According to the embodiment, the actual distance between the screen of the mobile terminal and the front object is measured, and the visual effect attributes (including backlight brightness, font, window component size and the like) of the screen are adjusted according to whether the actual distance is within the distance interval of the user using the mobile terminal, so that the use scene of the current mobile terminal can be well judged, and the problems that the mobile terminal still needs to be manually operated in the related art, the operation is troublesome, and the consumed time is more are solved. By using the embodiment, the use state of the mobile terminal can be truly reflected by measuring the actual distance between the mobile terminal and the front object, the visual effect attribute is dynamically adjusted, the operation of a user is facilitated, and the time is saved.
Preferably, in the above method, the method further comprises: and receiving the maximum value and the minimum value of the distance interval set by the user and the habitual visual effect attribute and the habitual distance of the mobile terminal operated by the user, wherein the value of the habitual distance is positioned in the distance interval, and the habitual visual effect attribute comprises the backlight brightness level of the habitual screen. In this way, the user can set the parameters according to the habit, wherein the setting mode of the user can be the mode shown in fig. 3.
Preferably, step S406 includes:
calculating a first upgrade step distance f of backlight brightness of a screenBupAnd a first step distance f of degradationBdownComprises the following steps:
First step down distanceWherein f ismaxIs the maximum value of the distance interval, fminIs the minimum value of the distance interval, fcomFor customary distances, BsumFor adjustable gradation of the backlight brightness of the screen, BcomIs the level of backlight brightness of a conventional screen,the operator is a round-down operator;
when the actual distance is within the distance interval as a result of the determination in step S404, the level of the backlight brightness of the screen is adjusted to:
wherein, PBTo which level the backlight brightness of the screen is to be adjusted, PBcurIs the current level of backlight brightness of the screen, fcurIs the actual distance.
The preferred embodiment provides a specific implementation scheme for dynamically adjusting the backlight brightness of the screen when the measured actual distance is within the distance interval set by the user.
Preferably, the habitual visual effect attribute set by the user further comprises habitual fonts and window component sizes; step S406 further includes:
calculating a second upgrade step distance f for font and window component size of the screenSupAnd a second step-down distance fSdownComprises the following steps:
Second step down distanceWherein S issumNumber of adjustable levels, S, for screen font and window component sizecomA level of idiomatic font and window component size;
when the actual distance is within the distance interval as a result of the determination in step S404, the font of the screen and the level of the window component size are adjusted to:
wherein, PSFor the level to which the font of the screen and the size of the window component are to be adjusted, PScurFor the current level of font and window component size of the screen, fcurIs the actual distance.
The preferred embodiment provides a specific implementation scheme for dynamically adjusting the font and window component size of the screen when the measured actual distance of the mobile terminal is within the distance interval set by the user.
The actual distance in step S402 is acquired periodically according to a predetermined period. The periodically acquiring may include: under the condition that the mobile terminal is in the non-sleep state, periodically acquiring the actual distance according to the received period value set by the user (namely, in the method, the period value for acquiring the actual distance between the screen of the mobile terminal and the front object is further received by the user); or, under the condition that the mobile terminal is in the non-sleep state, the actual distance is periodically acquired according to a preset default period value.
The mobile terminal adjusts the visual effect attribute of the screen by acquiring the actual distance generally when the mobile terminal is in a non-sleep state, and at this time, the user is considered to be operating the mobile terminal. The actual distance is obtained periodically, and the period may be set by a user selection or a default value is adopted, for example, the specific value of the period may be 1s, 0.1s, 2s, and the like. The smaller the value of the period is set, the more sensitive the mobile terminal is to adjust the visual effect attribute of the screen according to the obtained actual distance, but the larger the power consumption is at the same time. In practical implementation, the balance can be achieved by selecting a suitable value according to actual needs.
Preferably, step S406 further includes: and when the actual distance is out of the distance interval as a result of the determination in the step S404, turning off the backlight brightness of the screen. At this time, it may be considered that the user does not watch the screen of the mobile terminal, so that the screen and the backlight may be turned off to achieve an effect of maximally saving power consumption of the mobile terminal.
Fig. 5 is a flowchart of a method for adjusting screen visual effect of a mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention, including the following steps:
step S502, when a user operates the mobile phone, the mobile phone is switched into a standby state from a low-power-consumption dormant state, and screen backlight is turned on;
step S504, after entering the standby state, the distance measurement operation is performed at regular time (i.e. according to a certain period), and the measured actual distance is recorded as fcur. To reduce power consumption, the timing ranging interval (i.e., the above-described period) is generally set to 1 second or more; when the measuring distance exceeds the detection range, judging that no object exists in front and returning to a corresponding measuring state;
specifically, the mobile terminal receives the actual distance f between the user setting acquisition screen and the front objectcurThe adopted period value T is used for periodically acquiring the actual distance according to the period value T under the condition that the mobile terminal is in the non-sleep state;
or, the mobile terminal periodically acquires the actual distance according to a preset default period value under the condition that the mobile terminal is in the non-sleep state.
Step S506, judging and comparing fcurAnd fmaxIf f is large or smallcurGreater than fmaxStep 508 is entered, otherwise, step 510 is entered;
step S508, from fcurGreater than fmaxOr less than fminThat is, the current distance exceeds the distance interval of daily use, the user is considered not to watch the screen at this time (for example, the mobile terminal is placed on the table to answer the incoming call in a hands-free way, f)curGreater than fmaxOr put aside the ear for communication or put in a pocket, fcurIs less than fmin) If the power is saved, the screen backlight is turned off, and the step S504 is returned to, and the distance change is continuously detected at regular time;
step S510, compare fcurAnd fminSize, if fcurIs less than fminIf yes, go back to step S508, otherwise, go to step S512;
step S512, at this moment fcurIn the daily operation distance interval, calculating to obtain the corresponding grade P of certain visual effect attribute of the screeni:
Wherein, PcurFor the current level of the visual effect attribute of the screen, fiupUpgrade stepping distance, f, for visual effect attributesidownThe step distance is downgraded for visual properties.
Step S514, comparing PiAnd PcurIf the two values are not equal, the process goes to step S518, and if the two values are equal, the process goes to step S516;
step S516, resetting the visual effect attribute of the screen to be Pi(e.g., screen backlight brightness level, font size level) to be suitable for use at the current distance, and then step S516;
step S518, detecting whether the user has stopped operating and the sleep delay time limit is reached, if yes, step S520 is performed, otherwise, step S504 is performed again, and a new round of distance detection is started.
Step S520, turning off the screen backlight and other software and hardware modules that need to stop running, and entering a low power consumption sleep state.
From the above description, it can be seen that the present invention achieves the following technical effects: the actual distance between the screen of the mobile phone and an object in front is detected by using the sensor, and the mobile terminal is dynamically set according to the measured distance, so that the purposes of facilitating the use of a user and saving power consumption are achieved.
