Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of supplementary services of communication systems, and in particular, to a method and a system for implementing a blocking service.
Background
The blocking service is an important supplementary service in the mobile communication network, and generally comprises a user-defined blocking service and an operator-determined blocking service (ODB), and outgoing calls and incoming calls of the user can be limited by the blocking service according to user-defined or operator-defined call limiting conditions. For example, in the ODB, the operator may define the call restriction conditions as Barring all outgoing calls (Barring outgoing calls), Barring international outgoing calls (Barring outgoing international calls), Barring all international outgoing calls except the HPLMN (Barring outgoing international calls except the HPLMN from direct to the home PLMN count), Barring all outgoing calls when roaming abroad (Barring of outgoing call routing outside the home PLMN count), Barring long distance outgoing calls (Barring outgoing long-distance calls), Barring long distance outgoing calls unless pointing to the home country (Barring outgoing long-distance outgoing call to the PLMN count), and the like.
When a calling subscriber initiates a call to a Mobile switching center/visitor location register (MSC/VLR), in the prior art, the MSC/VLR generally analyzes a called subscriber number, and then determines whether the call is allowed to be performed according to a call restriction condition of the calling subscriber, where the called subscriber number refers to an MSISDN (MSISDN) of the called subscriber when the called subscriber is a Mobile subscriber. If the calling limiting condition of a certain user defined by the operator is a long-distance calling in a forbidden interval, when the number of the called user initiated by the user is the number of the mobile user in other places, the MSC/VLR judges that the called user is the user in other places by analyzing the number of the called user, and forbids the calling according to the calling limiting condition defined by the operator.
However, in order to make better use of network resources and promote reasonable competition, mobile communication markets of various countries have been introduced with Mobile Number Portability (MNP) services, i.e. users can freely choose to move in or out of a network of a certain operator within a predefined range, usually a country or a certain region of a country, while keeping their MSISDN unchanged.
Therefore, when a calling party initiates a call, if a called party carries out mobile number portability, the MSC/VLR cannot determine its home type by the called party number, and thus cannot determine whether to prohibit the call according to call restriction conditions, i.e. cannot implement a blocking service.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of this, the main objective of the present invention is to provide a method and a system for implementing a blocking service, which can ensure effective implementation of the blocking service, improve system operation stability, and improve user experience when a called user implements mobile number portability.
In order to achieve the purpose, the technical scheme of the invention is realized as follows:
a method for implementing blocking service includes:
after receiving a calling request of a calling subscriber, a mobile switching center/visitor location register (MSC/VLR) sends a routing query message to a signaling relay function/number portability database (MNP-SRF/NPDB) supporting MNP;
MNP-SRF/NPDB judges whether the called user is a home network user, if so, the routing query message is sent to a home location register HLR of the called user, and the routing query response message is sent to MSC/VLR by the HLR; otherwise, MNP-SRF/NPDB sends route inquiry response message to MSC/VLR directly;
MSC/VLR determines the attribution type of the called user according to the received route inquiry response message, and continues or forbids the call by combining the preset call restriction condition.
The call request carries the called subscriber number.
Before MSC/VLR sends route inquiry information about called user to MNP-SRF/NPDB, it also includes the following steps: judging whether the home type of the called user can be determined according to the number of the called user, if so, determining the home type of the called user according to the number of the called user, and continuing or forbidding the call by combining with a preset call limiting condition; otherwise, sending a route inquiry message about the called user to the MNP-SRF/NPDB, and continuing the subsequent flow.
The route inquiry response message sent by HLR to MSC/VLR carries: the mobile user roaming number MSRN and the international mobile subscriber identity IMSI of the called user;

and the MSC/VLR continuing call is a call continuing according to the MSRN.
The routing inquiry response message sent by the MNP-SRF/NPDB to the MSC/VLR carries: called user number, IMSI, routing code RN;
the method for determining the home type of the called user by the MSC/VLR comprises the following steps: and determining according to the IMSI or RN of the called user.
The method for determining the home type of the called user by the MSC/VLR comprises the following steps: the office direction determination according to the route query response message specifically comprises the following steps: the HLR returns a routing query response message to determine that the called user is the home network user; and the MNP-SRF/NPDB returns a routing query response message to determine that the called user is an external network user.
The method for determining the home type of the called user by the MSC/VLR comprises the following steps: determining whether the received route query response message contains the RN, specifically: the routing inquiry response message contains RN, and the called user is determined to be an external network user; and the routing inquiry response message does not contain the RN, and the called user is determined to be the home network user.
A system for implementing blocking service includes MSC/VLR, HLR and MNP-SRF/NPDB,
the MSC/VLR is used for receiving the call request and sending a routing query message to the MNP-SRF/NPDB; determining the attribution type of the called user according to the route query response message from the MNP-SRF/NPDB or the HLR, and continuing or forbidding the call by combining the preset call limiting condition;
the MNP-SRF/NPDB is used for judging whether the called user is a home network user, if so, the MNP-SRF/NPDB sends a routing query message to the HLR of the called user; otherwise, MNP-SRF/NPDB sends route inquiry response message to MSC/VLR directly;
and the HLR is used for sending a routing query response message to the corresponding MSC/VLR according to the routing query message from the MNP-SRF/NPDB.
The call request received by the MSC/VLR carries the called subscriber number,
the MSC/VLR is also used for judging whether the home type of the called user can be determined according to the number of the called user before sending the routing query message to the MNPSRF/NPDB, and if so, determining the home type of the called user and combining the preset call limiting condition to continue or forbid the call; otherwise, continuing to inform the route inquiry unit to inquire the route information.
The MSC/VLR specifically comprises a call request processing unit, an attribution type determining unit, a route inquiring unit and a call restriction condition storage unit; wherein,

and the number portability database is used for storing the home network information of the user.
When a calling party initiates a call to the MSC/VLR, the MSC/VLR does not directly analyze the attribution type of the called party according to the number of the called party, but sends a routing query message to MNP-SRF/NPDB (signaling relay function/number portability database supporting MNP) to acquire information such as International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI), routing code (RN) and the like of the called party, analyzes the attribution type of the called party based on the information such as the number of the called party, IMSI, RN and the like, and determines whether the call is allowed to be carried out or not by combining with the preset call restriction condition of the calling party. Because the invention judges the attribution type based on the information of the called user number, IMSI, RN, etc., even the called user carries out the mobile number portability, the attribution type can be correctly judged, and then whether the calling is allowed to be carried out is determined according to the preset calling limiting condition of the calling user, thereby ensuring the effective implementation of the locking service, improving the operation stability of the system, improving the user experience, and fully utilizing the original calling flow and all the messages therein, and being easy to implement.

Detailed Description
The basic idea of the invention is: when a calling party initiates a call to the MSC/VLR, the MSC/VLR sends a routing query message to the MNP-SRF/NPDB to acquire information such as IMSI, RN and the like of a called party, analyzes the attribution type of the called party based on the information such as the called party number, IMSI, RN and the like, and determines whether the call is allowed to be carried out or not by combining a preset call limiting condition of the calling party.
The following describes the embodiments in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
There are two main ways to implement MNP services: SRF (signaling relay function) mode and IN (intelligent network) mode. The SRF mode mainly adopts Mobile Application Part (MAP) related signaling to realize MNP, the IN mode mainly adopts intelligent network message mode to realize MNP, and the IN mode can not realize the related functions of supplementary service of mobile communication network, so that the SRF mode is adopted when number portability service is introduced into the mobile communication network.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for implementing a blocking service of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 1, the method for implementing a blocking service of the present invention mainly includes the following steps:
step 101: MSC/VLR receives calling request of calling user.
Here, the call request carries at least the called subscriber number.
In the invention, when the called user is a mobile user, the number of the called user refers to the MSISDN of the called user.
Step 102: MSC/VLR judges whether the home type of the called user can be determined according to the called user number, if yes, step 109 is executed; otherwise, step 103 is performed.
Here, if the called subscriber number has obvious characteristics, the home type can be directly distinguished, and confusion caused by implementing mobile number portability service is avoided, so that the home type of the called subscriber is directly judged according to the called subscriber number. For example, in many countries, the two coding schemes are completely different between fixed telephone numbers and mobile telephone numbers, and it is possible to distinguish whether a fixed telephone or a mobile telephone is used directly from the called subscriber number. In this case, when the calling subscriber initiates a call to the fixed telephone, the MSC/VLR may directly analyze the called subscriber number, and then determine whether the call can be continued by combining the call restriction condition (ODB subscription condition in ODB) of the calling subscriber.
Step 103: MSC/VLR sends route inquiry message to MNP-SRF/NPDB.
Here, the MNP-SRF/NPDB generally stores home network information of all users.
The route inquiry message at least carries the called user number.
Step 104: MNP-SRF/NPDB judges whether the called user has carried out the local network by applying the mobile number portability service, if yes, step 105 is executed; otherwise, step 106 is performed.
Here, the MNP-SRF/NPDB specifically searches for the network number of the home network corresponding to the called subscriber number according to the called subscriber number, and can determine that the called subscriber is currently in the home network or has been carried out by using the mobile number portability service according to the network number of the home network, so as to become a subscriber of another network.
Step 105: the MNP-SRF/NPDB returns a route inquiry response message to the MSC/VLR, and then goes to step 108.
Here, the route query response message returned by MNP-SRF/NPDB to MSC/VLR typically carries: called subscriber number, IMSI, and RN, etc.
Step 106: the MNP-SRF/NPDB sends a routing query message to a Home Location Register (HLR) of the called subscriber.
Here, the MNP-SRF/NPDB sends a route query message to the HLR carrying at least the called subscriber number.
Step 107: and the HLR sends a routing query response message to the MSC/VLR according to the routing query message from the MNP-SRF/NPDB.
Here, the route query response message sent by the HLR to the MSC/VLR generally carries: the mobile user roaming number (MSRN) of the called user, IMSI and the like, and the HLR determines the MSRN according to the number of the called user.
Step 108: the MSC/VLR determines the home type of the called subscriber according to the received route query response message, and then goes to step 110.
When receiving the route query response message and determining the home type of the called user, the MSC/VLR may have a plurality of processing modes, for example:
the MSC/VLR can analyze the attribution type of the called user according to the IMSI of the called user, namely, the MSC/VLR judges that the called user is an external network user, a local external network user and the like according to the IMSI of the called user;
the MSC/VLR can also analyze the home type of the called user according to whether the RN is contained in the received route inquiry response message, if the RN is contained in the route inquiry response message, the called user can be judged to be an external network user, and if the RN is not contained in the route inquiry response message, the called user can be judged to be a local network user.
In practical application, the system can also set the RN of the user, so that the MSC/VLR can further judge that the user is a local user or an alien user according to the RN;
the MSC/VLR can also analyze the attribution type of the called user according to the office direction of the received route query response message, namely if the route query response message is returned by the HLR, the called user can be judged to be the home network user; if the MNP-SRF/NPDB returns the route inquiry response message, the called user can be judged to be an external network user.
Step 109: and the MSC/VLR determines the home type of the called user according to the number of the called user.
Step 110: MSC/VLR combines the preset call restriction condition to judge whether the call is continued, if yes, step 111 is executed; otherwise, step 112 is performed.
Taking ODB as an example, if the calling subscriber signs BOIC (Barring of international outgoing calls), and the IMSI of the called subscriber is determined to be an IMSI field abroad in step 107, the call is rejected.
When the user location is updated, the HLR inserts the information of the user, such as IMSI, MSISDN, call restriction conditions (ODB subscription information in the ODB), and the like, to the MSC/VLR, where the preset call restriction conditions are stored when the user location is updated.
Step 111: continuing the call and ending the process.
If MSC/VLR receives route inquiry response message from HLR, then call is continued according to MSRN of called user, otherwise call is continued according to called user number.
Step 112: the call is rejected and the process ends.
Fig. 2 is a structural diagram of a system for implementing blocking service of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 2, the system for implementing blocking service of the present invention includes: a mobile switching center/visitor location register (MSC/VLR)21, a Home Location Register (HLR)22, and a signaling relay function/number portability database (MNP-SRF/NPDB)23 supporting MNP, where the MSC/VLR 21 specifically includes a call request processing unit 211, a home type determining unit 212, a route querying unit 213, and a call restriction condition storage unit 214, and the MNP-SRF/NPDB 23 specifically includes a route query response unit 231 and a number portability database 232, where,
the call request processing unit 211 is configured to receive a call request of a calling subscriber, and send a called subscriber number carried in the call request to the attribution type determining unit 212; the call is continued or prohibited according to the home type of the called user returned by the home type determining unit 212 and the call restriction condition of the called user stored in the call restriction condition storing unit 214.
The home type determining unit 212 is configured to determine a home type of a called user according to a called user number when the called user number has an obvious characteristic, and then return the determined home type of the called user to the call request processing unit 211; when the called subscriber number has no obvious features, the route inquiry unit 213 is informed to inquire the route information; and according to the routing information returned by the routing query unit 213, determining the attribution type of the called user, and then returning the determined attribution type of the called user to the call request processing unit 211.
Here, if the called subscriber number has obvious characteristics, the home type can be directly distinguished according to the called subscriber number, and confusion caused by implementing mobile number portability service is avoided, so that the home type of the called subscriber is directly judged according to the called subscriber number. For example, in many countries, the two coding schemes are completely different between fixed telephone numbers and mobile telephone numbers, and it is possible to distinguish whether a fixed telephone or a mobile telephone is used directly from the called subscriber number.
When the home type determining unit 212 receives the routing query response message and determines the home type of the called user, there may be a plurality of processing manners, for example:
the attribution type of the called user can be analyzed according to the IMSI of the called user, namely the called user is judged to be an external network user, an external user of the local network, a local external network user and the like according to the IMSI of the called user;
the home type of the called user can also be analyzed according to whether the received routing query response message contains the RN, if the routing query response message contains the RN, the called user can be judged to be an external network user, and if the routing query response message does not contain the RN, the called user can be judged to be a local network user. In practical application, the system can also set the RN of the user, so that the MSC/VLR can further judge that the user is a local user or an alien user according to the RN;
the attribution type of the called user can also be analyzed according to the office direction of the received route query response message, that is, if the route query response message of the called user is returned by the HLR 22, the called user can be judged to be the home network user; if the route query response unit 231 of the MNP-SRF/NPDB 23 returns the route query response message of the called user, it can be determined that the called user is an external network user.
A route query unit 213, configured to send a route query message about the called user to the route query response unit 231 of the MNP-SRF/NPDB according to the query notification from the home type determination unit 212, and send the route information returned by the route query response unit 231 or the HLR 22 to the home type determination unit 212.
