In summary, in the embodiment of the present invention, after the multimedia center completes the multimedia service operation according to the call of the calling mobile switching center, a progress indication message is sent to the calling mobile switching center to indicate that it has completed the corresponding multimedia service operation. After receiving the progress indication message, the calling mobile switching center sends a connection request to the calling terminal according to the message to indicate that the calling terminal can initiate a negotiation operation process with the multimedia center.
Because the multimedia center uses the progress indication message to indicate that the multimedia service operation is completed, the calling terminal can accurately obtain the capability information of the multimedia center for providing the multimedia service in the negotiation operation process, thereby improving the success rate of the negotiation operation with the multimedia center.
Meanwhile, because there is a time sequence precedence relationship between the multimedia service operation of the multimedia center and the connection message of the calling mobile switching center, that is, only after receiving the progress indication message, the calling mobile switching center will send the connection message to the calling terminal. Therefore, the multimedia center can be ensured to have enough time to complete various complex multimedia business operations, thereby paving the way for providing rich multimedia services before response for the 3G network.

Claims (13)

1. A method for implementing a pre-answer multimedia service, the method comprising the steps of:
performing multimedia service operation according to the call request of the calling mobile switching center;
after the multimedia service operation is completed, sending a progress indication message to the calling mobile switching center, so that the calling mobile switching center sends a connection message to a calling terminal according to the progress indication message;
receiving a negotiation request sent by the calling terminal, and performing negotiation operation with the calling terminal, wherein the negotiation request is sent by the calling terminal after receiving the connection message;
and after the negotiation operation is completed, providing the multimedia service before response to the calling terminal.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein prior to performing a multimedia service operation, the method further comprises:
receiving an initial address message sent by the calling mobile switching center;
and sending an address completion message to the calling mobile switching center, so that the calling mobile switching center sends a ringing message to the calling terminal.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of sending a progress indication message to the calling mobile switching center comprises:
after multimedia service operation, sending a progress indication message to the calling mobile switching center, so that the calling mobile switching center sends a connection message to a calling terminal according to the progress indication message and receives a connection response message sent by the calling terminal.
4. A method for implementing a pre-answer multimedia service, the method comprising the steps of:
receiving a progress indication message sent by a multimedia center;
and sending a connection message to a calling terminal according to the progress indication message, and indicating the calling terminal to initiate a negotiation process with the multimedia center.
5. Method for implementing a pre-answer multimedia service according to claim 4, characterized in that before the step of receiving a progress indication message sent by a multimedia center, said method comprises:
receiving a setup message of a calling terminal;
and sending a call continuation message to the calling terminal.
6. Method for implementing a pre-answer multimedia service according to claim 4 or 5, characterized in that after the step of sending a connection message to the calling terminal according to said progress indication message, said method further comprises:
and receiving the response message sent by the multimedia center, and charging the calling terminal.
7. A multimedia center, comprising:
a receiving unit, configured to receive a call request from a calling mobile switching center and a negotiation request from a calling terminal, where the negotiation request is sent by the calling terminal after receiving a connection message;
the operation unit is used for carrying out multimedia service operation according to the call request received by the receiving unit;
a sending unit, configured to send a progress indication message to the calling mobile switching center after the operation unit completes a multimedia service operation, so that the calling mobile switching center sends the connection message to a calling terminal according to the progress indication message;
the negotiation unit is used for carrying out negotiation operation with the calling terminal according to the negotiation request received by the receiving unit;
and the multimedia service providing unit is used for providing the multimedia service before response to the calling terminal after the negotiation operation of the negotiation unit is completed.
8. The multimedia center of claim 7,
the receiving unit is further configured to receive an initial address message of the calling mobile switching center;
the sending unit is further configured to send an address completion message to the calling mobile switching center; and when the call is successfully established, sending a response message to the calling mobile switching center.
9. A mobile switching center, comprising:
the message receiving unit is used for receiving a progress indication message sent by the multimedia center;
and the message sending unit is used for sending a connection message to the calling terminal according to the progress indication message, and indicating the calling terminal to initiate a negotiation process with the multimedia center.
10. The mobile switching center of claim 9, wherein:
the message receiving unit is also used for receiving a setup message of a calling terminal and receiving a response message sent by the multimedia center;
the message sending unit is further configured to send a call continuation message to the calling terminal;
the mobile switching center further comprises: and the charging unit is used for charging the calling terminal according to the response message received by the message receiving unit.
11. A system for implementing a pre-answer multimedia service, the system comprising: a multimedia center and a calling mobile switching center; wherein,
the multimedia center is used for sending a progress indication message to the calling mobile switching center after multimedia service operation is carried out according to the call of the calling mobile switching center;
and the calling mobile switching center is used for sending a connection message to a calling terminal according to the progress indication message, and indicating the calling terminal to initiate a negotiation process with the multimedia center.
12. The system for implementing pre-answer multimedia services according to claim 11, wherein said multimedia center comprises:
a receiving unit, configured to receive a call request from a calling mobile switching center and a negotiation request from a calling terminal;
the operation unit is used for carrying out multimedia service operation according to the call request received by the receiving unit;
a sending unit, configured to send a progress indication message to the calling mobile switching center after the operation unit completes a multimedia service operation;
the negotiation unit is used for carrying out negotiation operation with the calling terminal according to the negotiation request received by the receiving unit;
and the multimedia service providing unit is used for providing the multimedia service before response to the calling terminal after the negotiation operation of the negotiation unit is completed.
13. The system for implementing pre-answer multimedia services according to claim 11, wherein said mobile switching center comprises:
the message receiving unit is used for receiving a progress indication message sent by the multimedia center;
and the message sending unit is used for sending a connection message to the calling terminal according to the progress indication message to indicate the calling terminal to initiate a negotiation process with the multimedia center.
