Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method, a device, and a system for implementing a multimedia service before a response based on a VIG (Video interworking gateway).
Background
In order to provide rich call services to the terminal in the 2G network, some non-billable voice services are usually provided to the calling terminal before the calling terminal receives an Answer Message (ANM). We refer to these voice services as pre-answer voice services, a class of pre-answer voice services that includes: the color ring heard when the calling terminal dials the called terminal, the language selection and the seat number reporting when the calling terminal dials the call center, etc.
With the development of communication technology, communication networks are currently undergoing a change from 2G networks to 3G networks. The most significant advantage of 3G networks over 2G networks is that 3G networks can provide video call services to terminals. Therefore, with the continuous development, the voice service before response in the 2G network is changed into the multimedia service before response for the 3G network. The pre-answer multimedia services refer to some multimedia services provided by the communication network for the calling terminal before the calling terminal receives the answer message. The multimedia services before response comprise video color ring which is seen when the calling terminal dials the called terminal, video prompt and selection when the calling terminal dials the call center, and the like. Compared with the voice service before response under the 2G network environment, the multimedia service before response in the 3G network enables the experience of the terminal to be richer, and the information receiving mode to be more direct, clear and convenient.
Taking video color ring back tone service as an example, as shown in fig. 1, when a calling terminal calls a called terminal in a 3G network, the method for implementing multimedia service before response comprises the following steps:
step 11, initiating a call at a calling terminal, and sending a Setup message to a Mobile Switching Center (MSC);
step 12, the calling mobile switching center sends SRI (Sending routing information) message to HLR (Home Location Register) of the called terminal according to the Setup message, and inquires MSRN (mobile subscriber roaming Number) of the called terminal;
step 13, HLR of the called terminal sends SRI _ ACK (route message acknowledgement) message to the calling MSC, the message includes MSRN number of the called terminal;
step 14, after obtaining the MSRN (mobile Subscriber Roaming Number), the calling MSC sends a Call _ Proceeding message to the calling terminal;
step 15, the calling MSC sends an IAM Message (Initial Address Message) to an MMC (Multimedia Center);
step 16, the MMC sends an ACM (Address Complete Message) Message carrying a video call indication to the MSC of the calling terminal;
step 17, the MSC of the calling terminal sends Alerting message to the calling terminal;
step 19, after step 17, the MSC of the calling terminal sends a Connect message to the calling terminal to inform the calling terminal to perform h.245 negotiation with the MMC;
step 20, the calling terminal sends a Connect _ Ack (connection acknowledgement) message to the MSC of the calling terminal;
In the process of implementing the voice before answer service, the inventor finds that at least the following problems exist in the prior art: because the calling terminal needs to request the MMC for the capability information of providing the multimedia service during the h.245 negotiation between the calling terminal and the MMC, but when the calling terminal receives the Connect message of the calling mobile switching center to negotiate with the multimedia center, the MMC may not be performing multimedia service operation, so the MMC cannot provide the calling terminal with the capability information of the multimedia service, thereby causing the failure of the h.245 negotiation process between the calling terminal and the MMC; this also restricts the service capability of the MMC, so that the MMC cannot provide a complex multimedia service model.
