Description

Locking method, unlocking method and device thereof, network equipment and communication terminal
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a communication network system, and more particularly, to a locking method, an unlocking method, and apparatuses thereof for network locking of a data card of a terminal device, a network device, and a communication terminal.
Background
At present, in order to develop users, network operators adopt various marketing strategies and provide various differentiated and characteristic services for the users. Most operators require locking of the SIM card (SIM LOCK) when the user purchases the data card for the protection of their own network rights, the purpose of locking the SIM card being to restrict the use of Subscriber Identity Modules (SIM) on the data card that are not of that operator. That is, if the SIM card issued by the local operator is inserted into the data card, the data card confirms that the SIM card is a valid SIM card, and if the SIM card is not the SIM card issued by the local operator, the SIM card is considered to be an invalid SIM card. For example, if the network using china mobile is locked, the card of china unicom cannot be used. Only the legal SIM card can be normally registered in the network and can interact with the network, but the illegal SIM card can not carry out the operation, thereby protecting the benefits of network operators.
Currently, the first five digits or the first six digits of the International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) of the SIM card represent the public land mobile network identity (PLMN ID) of the operator's network. The existing implementation of locking the SIM card is to store a network number, for example, a public land mobile network identity (PLMN ID) of a network, in a data card, when the SIM card is inserted into the data card, the data card reads an international mobile subscriber identity IMSI of the SIM card, the data card compares an acquired identification code on the SIM card with a stored network number, that is, a PLMN ID, and if the acquired identification code on the SIM card is the same as the stored network number, that is, the PLMN ID, the SIM card is considered to be a legitimate SIM card; if not, the SIM card is considered as an illegal SIM card. For the SIM card confirmed as illegal, the data card will not complete subsequent initialization operations, and further will not perform subsequent operations such as network registration.
The inventor finds the defects of the prior art in the process of implementing the invention: if the operator's network number, e.g. PLMN ID, changes, e.g. when a new subnet is established, the locked network number, i.e. PLMN ID, needs to be changed. At present, an operator cannot change the PLMN ID stored in the data card, and can only buy a batch of data cards again, which brings great inconvenience to the operator and the end user, and increases the cost.
In addition, when unlocking is performed, the tool is used for unlocking at present, but in the method, the operator needs to regularly issue the tool to the end user, so that the end user can unlock through the tool, and great inconvenience is brought to the operator and the end user.

The exemplary embodiments and descriptions of the present invention are provided to explain the present invention, but not to limit the present invention.
One embodiment of a locking apparatus provided by the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, includes a request sending unit 101, an information receiving unit 102, a first judging unit 103, and a locking message sending unit 104; the request sending unit 101 is configured to send a lock query request to a communication terminal; the information receiving unit 102 is configured to receive current locking information returned by the communication terminal according to the query request, where the current locking information includes a status identifier indicating whether to lock the network; the first judging unit 103 is configured to judge whether the communication terminal has locked a network according to the status identifier; the locking message sending unit 104 is configured to send a locking message of a locked network to the communication terminal when the determination result of the first determining unit 103 is that the network is not locked; and the locking message comprises a network identifier of the locked network, so that the communication terminal locks the network corresponding to the network identifier.
In this embodiment, when the communication terminal is in an unlocked state, the current locking information includes the status flag indicating whether to lock the network, and the status flag indicates the unlocked state. The status flag may be any number or symbol, and may indicate an unlocked status when the status flag is "0". If the status flag is "1" yes, it may be indicated as a locked status. Thus, the first judgment unit 103 can determine that the communication terminal is in an unlocked state according to the state identification. In addition, the locking message may also include a network identification of the locked network.
In this embodiment, the network identifier of the locked network may be a public land mobile network identifier (PLMN ID) of an operator network, for example, a china mobile: 46000.
therefore, when the network side device learns that the communication terminal is in an unlocked state, the locking message can be sent to the communication terminal through the network, so that the communication terminal can lock according to the locking message, the implementation method is simple, the cost is saved, and great convenience is brought to a user.
In an embodiment of a locking apparatus provided by the present invention, as shown in fig. 2, the locking apparatus includes a request sending unit 101, an information receiving unit 102, a first determining unit 103, and a locking message sending unit 104, and functions of the locking apparatus are similar to those of the units shown in fig. 1, and are not described herein again.
In this embodiment, if the communication terminal is locked, the current locking information includes a status flag indicating whether to lock the network and a locked current network flag, and the status flag indicates a locked status. Thus, the first judgment unit 103 can determine that the communication terminal is in the locked state according to the state identification.
In addition, the current locking information may further include information on whether or not the device has been unlocked, and thus, as shown in fig. 2, the device further includes a second determination unit 201 and an update message transmission unit 202; the second determining unit 201 is configured to determine whether to allow updating of the communication terminal according to the information about whether to unlock the network when the determination result of the first determining unit 103 is that the network is already locked, where the communication terminal that is not unlocked can be updated, that is, whether to unlock the network is determined according to the information about whether to unlock the network, and if not, the communication terminal is allowed to update the network; if the determination result is yes, the update message sending unit 202 is further configured to send an update message to the communication terminal if the determination result of the second determining unit 201 is that the communication terminal is not unlocked; the updating message comprises the network identification needing to be updated and the operation information needing to be updated, so that the communication terminal updates the locked network according to the network identification needing to be updated and the indication of the operation information needing to be updated.

According to the embodiment, when the network side device learns that the communication terminal is in the locked state and is not unlocked, the network side device can send the update message to the communication terminal through the network, so that the communication terminal updates the locked network according to the update message.
Furthermore, in one embodiment of the present invention, in order to ensure information security, the apparatus may further include a first random number generation unit 203 and an update password generation unit 204; the first random number generation unit 203 is configured to generate a random number if the determination result of the second determination unit 201 is that the communication terminal is not unlocked; the updated password generating unit 204 is configured to perform calculation according to the generated random number, the device identifier of the communication terminal, and by using a predetermined encryption algorithm, so as to obtain a first password; and, the update message further includes the generated random number and the first password.
At this time, the update message sending unit 202 sends the update message to the communication terminal, so that the communication terminal updates the network identifier according to the random number and the first password carried in the update message, that is, the communication terminal calculates the second password according to the random number, the device identifier ID of the communication terminal and the same encryption algorithm, if the second key calculated by the communication terminal is consistent with the received first key, the update is performed, otherwise, no processing is performed.
In this embodiment, since the random number and the first password are added to the update message, the communication terminal calculates the second key according to the random number, the device identification ID of the communication terminal itself, and the same encryption algorithm, and if the second password calculated by the communication terminal is consistent with the received first password, the update is performed, otherwise, no processing is performed, thereby improving the security of the information.
As shown in fig. 2, in an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus may further include a device identifier obtaining unit 205 and a third determining unit 206; wherein, the device identifier obtaining unit 205 is configured to obtain a device identifier ID of the communication terminal; the third determining unit 206 is configured to determine whether the communication terminal is a communication terminal to which the network belongs according to the obtained device identifier of the communication terminal; the request sending unit 101 is specifically configured to send a lock inquiry request to the communication terminal when the determination result of the third determining unit 206 is that the communication terminal is a communication terminal to which the network belongs. In this embodiment, the device identifier ID is usually an IMEI number, and is a string of numbers, and the database on the network side also stores the device identifier ID issued by the operator, and if the third determining unit 206 determines that the obtained device identifier ID is consistent with the device identifier ID stored in the database on the network side, it indicates that the communication terminal is the communication terminal issued by the operator, and at this time, the network side may query the locking state of the communication terminal, and lock and update the communication terminal according to the locking state.
Therefore, the device can determine whether the terminal equipment needs to lock or update the network identifier of the locking network according to the locking information, and sends the locking message or the updating message to the terminal equipment in a wireless mode, so that an operator can update the mobile network identifier without replacing the communication terminal, the implementation mode is simple, the cost is saved, the competitiveness of the communication terminal is enhanced, and great convenience is brought to the operator and a user.
The locking device described in the above embodiments is provided on the network side, and may be used alone or in combination with a network-side device, and may be provided according to actual circumstances.
In an embodiment of a communication terminal provided by the present invention, as shown in fig. 3, the apparatus includes a request receiving unit 301 and an information transmitting unit 302; the request receiving unit 301 is configured to receive a lock query request issued by a network side; the information sending unit 302 is configured to send current locking information to a network side according to the lock query request, where the current locking information includes a status identifier indicating whether to lock a network, so that the network side determines whether to lock the network of the communication terminal or update the locked network.
In this embodiment, if the communication terminal is in an unlocked state, the communication terminal may transmit only a status flag indicating an unlocked network, such as "0". The communication terminal is in a locked state, the communication terminal may transmit a state identification indicating a locked network, such as "1", or may also transmit a current network identification that is locked, or may also include information whether it has been unlocked.
In this embodiment, the communication terminal may be a data card, a mobile phone, or the like.
Thus, after the network side receives the information, the network side can determine to send a locking message or an updating message to the device according to the information, so that the device can lock or update according to the message. Therefore, the operator can update the mobile network identification without replacing the data card, the implementation mode is simple, the cost is saved, the competitive power of the communication terminal is enhanced, and great convenience is brought to the operator and the user.
In an embodiment of the communication terminal provided by the present invention, as shown in fig. 4, the communication terminal includes a request receiving unit 301 and an information sending unit 302, and the functions of the units are similar to those of the units shown in fig. 3, and are not described herein again.
In this embodiment, the information sending unit 302 includes a first sending module, configured to send, to the network side, current locking information containing a status identifier indicating an unlocked network when the communication terminal is in the unlocked network, for example, sending a status identifier "0" to the network side. The network side can then send a locking message to the communication terminal based on the information.
In one embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 4, the communication terminal further includes a locking message receiving unit 401 and a storing unit 402; the locking message receiving unit 401 is configured to receive a locking message returned by the network side according to the status identifier, where the locking message includes a network identifier of a locked network; the storage unit 402 is configured to store information carried in the locking message.
In this embodiment, the locking message may further include a status flag indicating that the network is locked, for example, the status flag may be represented as "1".
The network identification of the locked network in the locking message may be a PLMN ID of the locked network, e.g., china mobile 46000. The status flag of the locked network may be set to "1". And the information can be stored in a non-loss area, i.e. nv (nonvolatile variable), of the storage unit 402, and the locked network identifier is generally called a network lock number. Thus, when the communication terminal is operated again, the information of the area is first checked to determine whether it is locked.
In this embodiment, the information sending unit 302 may further include a second sending module, configured to send, to the network side, current locking information including a status identifier indicating a locked network and a current network identifier that is locked, and/or information indicating whether the network is unlocked, in the case that the network is locked. For example, a status flag, such as "1", for indicating a locked network.
Thus, the communication terminal further includes an update message receiving unit 403, an information determining unit 407, and an updating unit 404; the update message receiving unit 403 is configured to receive an update message returned by the network side according to the unlock message, where the update message may include a network identifier that needs to be updated and operation information that needs to be updated, so that the communication terminal updates the locked network according to the network identifier that needs to be updated and an indication of the operation information that needs to be updated; the information determining unit 407 is configured to determine whether a network identifier that needs to be updated and is included in the update message received by the update message receiving unit 403 already exists; the updating unit 404 is configured to update the current network identifier according to the information carried in the update message when the information determining unit 407 determines that the network identifier that needs to be updated and is included in the received update message does not exist.
Considering the issue of security, the received update message further includes a random number and a first password, and in this case, the apparatus further includes a first calculating unit 405 and a fourth judging unit 406; wherein,
a first calculation unit 405, configured to, when the information determination unit 407 determines that the network identifier that needs to be updated and is included in the received update message does not exist, perform calculation according to the random number in the update message received by the update message reception unit 403, the device identifier of the communication terminal, and an encryption algorithm that is the same as that of the network side to obtain a second password; the fourth determining unit 406 is configured to determine whether the calculated second password is consistent with the first password, and if the determination result is consistent, notify the updating unit 403 to update the current network identifier according to the network identifier to be updated and/or the operation information to be updated, which are carried in the update message.
In this embodiment, if the network identifier that needs to be updated and is carried in the update message may be a PLMN ID of the network, for example, 46001 (china unicom), and the operation information for updating may be to add or delete the identifier. For example, in the present embodiment, it is an addition.
Thus, as can be seen from the above description, when the communication terminal receives the update message and the calculated password matches the update password, the update unit 404 can update the update message as follows: firstly, whether the PLMN ID needing to be updated is stored in the NV area is checked, if the PLMN ID needing to be updated is stored, the fact that updating is not needed is indicated, an update failure message is returned to the network, or the fact that the failure reason is that the PLMN ID already exists is also indicated. If the operation is storage, the PLNM ID is written into NV area, and a message can be sent to the network side to indicate that the update is successful.
Therefore, the communication terminal can send the locking information to the network side according to the request sent by the network side, send the locking message or the updating message in a wireless mode, lock according to the locking message, and update the network locking number according to the updating message, so that an operator can update the mobile network identifier without replacing a data card, the implementation mode is simple, the cost is saved, the competitiveness of the communication terminal is enhanced, and great convenience is brought to the operator and a user.
The communication terminal described in the above embodiment is provided on the user side.

Of course, when the communication terminal is determined to be in the locked state, if the locked network of the communication terminal does not need to be updated, it is not necessary to send an update message to the communication terminal.
In this embodiment, the status flag indicating whether to lock the network may be set arbitrarily, for example, when set to "0", it indicates unlocking; a setting of 1 indicates "locked". The network identification of the locked network may be a PLMN ID of the network. The updated operation information may be operations of deleting, adding, and the like, the network identifier that needs to be updated.
Therefore, when the network side knows that the communication terminal is in an unlocked state, the network side can send a locking message to the communication terminal; or when the communication terminal is in a locked state, the communication terminal can send the update message to the communication terminal through the network, so that the communication terminal can lock or update according to the locking message or the update message, the implementation method is simple, the cost is saved, and great convenience is brought to users.
In an embodiment of a locking method provided by the present invention, as shown in fig. 10, the method includes: a communication terminal receives a locking query request issued by a network side (see step 1001); current locking information is sent to the network side, where the current locking information includes status identifier of whether to lock the network, and/or current network identifier that has been locked, and/or information of whether to unlock the network (see step 1002).
In this embodiment, if the communication terminal is in the unlocked state, only the status flag indicating whether the network is locked, that is, the status flag indicating that the network is not locked, such as "0", may be sent. If the communication terminal is in a locked state, a status identifier indicating that the network is locked, such as "1", may be transmitted, or a current network identifier that is locked may also be transmitted, or may also include information on whether the network is already unlocked.
Thus, after the network side receives the information, the network side can determine to send a locking message or an updating message to the communication terminal according to the information, so that the communication terminal can lock or update according to the message. Therefore, the operator can update the mobile network identification without replacing the communication terminal, the implementation mode is simple, the cost is saved, the competitive power of the communication terminal is enhanced, and great convenience is brought to the operator and the user.
In an embodiment of a locking method provided by the present invention, the following takes a communication terminal (user equipment UE), such as a mobile phone, as an example to describe the locking method in detail with reference to fig. 11.
The method comprises the following steps:
in step 1101, the current UE uses a legal SIM card and registers to the network using the SIM card.
The network returns a registration success message, step 1102.
Step 1103, the network side issues a request for obtaining the device ID of the UE.
Step 1104, after receiving the request, the UE sends the UE id to the network side.
Step 1105, after receiving the device ID returned by the UE, the network side determines whether the terminal device is the UE to which the network belongs according to the device ID; in this embodiment, the UE may be searched in a database on the network side, and if the UE is found, it indicates that the UE belongs to the UE to which the network belongs.
If the UE is a device to which the network belongs, continue to execute step 1106; and if the UE is not the equipment to which the network belongs, ending the process.
Step 1106, if the UE is a device to which the network belongs, the network side issues a lock query request to the UE.
In this embodiment, the sending may be performed by a short message, USSD, or signaling. If the USSD mode is adopted for sending, the USSD SIM LOCK state inquiry message can be sent to the user equipment UE.
Step 1107, after receiving the request, the UE queries its own current locking information and sends the current locking information to the network side.
If the UE is in the unlocked state, the UE sends an identifier of the unlocked state, such as "0" to the network side.
Step 1108, if the locking information sent by the UE includes an unlocked status identifier, the network side determines that the UE is unlocked, and sends a locking message to the UE, where the locking message includes a locked network identifier and a locked status identifier.
Step 1109, after receiving the locking message, the UE stores the locking status identifier and the network identifier in the locking message into the NV area of its storage unit. Thus, when the user equipment is operated again, the information in the area is first checked to determine whether it is locked.
Step 1110, if the locking is successful, returning a locking completion message to the network side.
In step 1107, if the UE is in the locked state, the UE sends a locking state identifier, such as "1" to the network side, the network identifier of the locked network, and/or whether the information is already unlocked to the network side. In this way, the following steps will be performed:
step 1111, if the locking information sent by the UE includes locking status information, a network identifier of a locked network, and whether the locking information is already unlocked, if the locking information is not unlocked in this embodiment, after the network side receives the locking information, it determines that the UE is already locked, and determines whether PLMN update is allowed for the UE according to whether the locking information is already unlocked, and if the UE is not unlocked, it determines that PLNM update is allowed for the UE.
Step 1112, the network side generates a random number, performs calculation according to the generated random number and the UE ID and by using a predetermined encryption algorithm to obtain an update password, and issues an update message to the UE, where the update message includes a network PLMN ID to be updated and operation information on the PLMN ID, such as the added random number and the generated update password.
Step 1113, after the user equipment UE receives the update message, it calculates according to the random number, its own equipment identifier and the same encryption algorithm as the network side to obtain the password; comparing the calculated password with the updated password in the message, if the comparison result is the same, checking whether the PLMN ID needing to be updated is stored in the NV area, and if the PLMN ID exists, the PLMN ID does not need to be updated; if not, the PLMN ID is written into the NV area.
Step 1114, after writing the PLMN ID into the NV area, sends an update success message to the network side. Or when the PLMN ID needing to be updated already exists and does not need to be updated, sending an update failure message to the network side.
It can be seen from the above that, the network side issues the locking information requesting for querying the user equipment in a wireless manner, and receives the locking information transmitted by the terminal equipment in a wireless manner, determines whether the terminal equipment needs to lock or update the PLNM ID according to the locking information, and sends the corresponding locking or updating message to the user equipment, so that the user equipment can lock or update according to the received message, and does not need to replace the communication terminal by an operator, the implementation manner is simple, the cost is saved, the competitiveness of the communication terminal is enhanced, and great convenience is brought to the operator and the user.
In an embodiment of an unlocking method provided by the present invention, as shown in fig. 12, the method includes: receiving an unlocking request sent by a communication terminal (see step 1201); and sending an unlocking message to the communication terminal according to the unlocking request, wherein the unlocking message comprises an unlocking identifier and a network identifier to be unlocked (see step 1202).
In this embodiment, the unlocking flag in the unlocking message may be set arbitrarily, for example, set to "no", which indicates an unlocking command; the identification number to be unlocked may be the PLMN ID of the network to be unlocked.
Therefore, the network side can send the unlocking message to the communication terminal according to the unlocking request sent by the user, so that the user does not need to use tools to unlock every time, convenience is brought to the user, and the competitiveness of the communication terminal is enhanced.
In an embodiment of an unlocking method provided by the present invention, as shown in fig. 13, the method includes: sending an unlocking request message to the network side (see step 1301); receiving an unlocking message returned by the network side, wherein the unlocking message comprises an unlocking identifier and/or a network identifier to be unlocked (see step 1302); and unlocking according to the information carried by the unlocking message (see step 1303).
In this embodiment, the unlocking flag in the unlocking message may be set arbitrarily, for example, set to "not", which indicates an unlocking command; the identification number to be unlocked may be the PLMN ID of the network to be unlocked.
When unlocking, firstly updating the locking state identifier stored in the NV area of the storage unit of the communication terminal, for example, changing the locking state identifier '1' to 'not', and checking whether a PLMN ID needing to be unlocked exists in the message, if not, indicating complete unlocking, and deleting all the PLMN IDs stored in the NV area; if the message has the PLMN ID, only deleting the PLMN ID carried in the message.
Therefore, when the user unlocks, the unlocking request can be sent to the network side, the unlocking message returned by the network side is received, and the unlocking is carried out according to the unlocking message without using tools every time, so that convenience is brought to the user, and the competitiveness of the communication terminal is enhanced.
In an embodiment of the unlocking method provided in the embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 14, the unlocking method is described by taking user equipment UE as a mobile phone as an example.
As shown in fig. 14, the method includes:
steps 1401 to 1405 are similar to steps 1101 and 1105 in fig. 11, and are not described again here.
Step 1406, receiving an unlocking request sent by the user equipment UE;
step 1407, after receiving the request, the network side first generates a random number according to the received unlocking request; then, an unlocking password is generated according to the random number, the equipment identification of the user equipment and an encryption algorithm.
Step 1408, sending a receiving message to the user equipment UE, where the unlocking message includes the random number, the unlocking password, the unlocking identifier and/or the network identifier to be unlocked.
Step 1409, after receiving the unlocking message, the UE calculates according to the random number and the device identifier of the UE and by using the same algorithm as the network side to obtain a password; and determining whether the calculated password is consistent with the decryption password, and if so, unlocking according to the information carried by the unlocking message. The unlocking process is as described in embodiment 15 and will not be described herein.
Step 1410, after the unlocking is successful, an unlocking success message is issued to the network side.
