When the ethernet packet to be forwarded, received by the receiving module 710, is an ethernet packet forwarded by an edge device of an operator on a network side, the searching unit 722 determines an output port corresponding to forwarding the ethernet packet by searching the forwarding information corresponding relationship, as shown in table 1, stored in the storage unit 721 according to the control virtual local area network identifier carried in the ethernet packet and the device tag of the edge device of the operator carried in the ethernet packet;
or,
the searching unit 722 first determines, according to the control vlan id carried in the ethernet packet and the device tag of the provider edge device carried in the ethernet packet, a vlan instance index corresponding to the control vlan id carried in the ethernet packet by searching the forwarding information corresponding relationship shown in table 4 and stored in the storage unit 721; then, the searching unit 722 determines an output port corresponding to forwarding the ethernet packet by searching the forwarding information corresponding relationship, as shown in table 3, stored in the storage unit 721 according to the control vlan id and the determined vlan instance index carried in the ethernet packet.
In a specific embodiment of the UPE provided in the embodiment of the present invention, the forwarding module 730 may specifically forward the ethernet packet to be forwarded, received by the receiving module 710, to the user side device or the PE through the egress port determined by the determining module 720.
Specifically, when the ethernet packet to be forwarded needs to be forwarded to the PE, the forwarding module 730 may insert the UPE control vlan id corresponding to the control vlan id carried in the ethernet packet and the device tag issued by the UPE into the ethernet packet, and send the modified ethernet packet.
When the ethernet packet to be forwarded needs to be forwarded to the ue, the forwarding module 730 may delete the control vlan id carried in the ethernet packet, and send the modified ethernet packet.
As can be seen from the above description, the UPE provided in the embodiment of the present invention receives an ethernet packet to be forwarded, where the ethernet packet carries a control virtual local area network identifier; determining an output port corresponding to the Ethernet message to be forwarded according to the control virtual local area network identifier and the forwarding information; and forwarding the Ethernet message through the output port. Therefore, under the condition that the message is still forwarded in a unicast mode, the corresponding output port of the forwarded Ethernet message is determined according to the control virtual local area network identifier and the forwarding information carried by the Ethernet message, so that the condition that the forwarding equipment needs to learn the media access control address when forwarding the Ethernet message is avoided, and the Ethernet message forwarding efficiency of the forwarding equipment is ensured.
An embodiment of the present invention further provides Provider Edge equipment (PE), as shown in fig. 9, in a virtual private local area network service network, the PE specifically includes:
a receiving module 910, configured to receive an ethernet packet to be forwarded, where the ethernet packet carries a control virtual local area network identifier;
a determining module 920, configured to determine, according to a control virtual local area network identifier and forwarding information carried in the ethernet packet received by the receiving module 910, an output port corresponding to the ethernet packet to be forwarded;
a forwarding module 930, configured to forward the ethernet packet received by the receiving module 910 through the egress port determined by the determining module 920.
In a specific embodiment of the PE provided in the embodiment of the present invention, in order to avoid that the PE learns a Media Access Control (MAC) address of a user and still keep forwarding an ethernet packet in a unicast manner, in a Control plane, a different Control Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) Identifier (ID), that is, a Control VID, is configured for each interface on the PE to uniquely identify different interfaces in the same Virtual Switching Instance (VSI).
It should be noted that, in order to avoid confusion, the control VID of the PE itself in the embodiment of the present invention is denoted by cTag, and the control VID carried in the received ethernet message is denoted by fTag.
In addition, in the forwarding plane, the embodiment of the present invention changes the original ethernet packet forwarding according to the MAC address table, that is, determines the ethernet packet forwarding mode corresponding to the forwarding output port according to the MAC address and the VSI index (Vsilndex) as the key value (key), and instead, determines the ethernet packet forwarding mode corresponding to the forwarding output port according to the control VID (that is, fTag) carried in the ethernet packet sent by the remote end as the key value and other related forwarding information, and forwards the ethernet packet.
In a specific embodiment of the PE provided in the embodiment of the present invention, the receiving module 910 may specifically receive an ethernet packet to be forwarded from a User side operator Edge device (UPE: User Facing Provider Edge) or a Network side operator Edge device (NPE: Network Facing Provider Edge). The ethernet packet carries the control VID.
In an embodiment of the PE provided in the embodiment of the present invention, the determining module 920 may be specifically as shown in fig. 10, and includes:
and a storage unit 921 for storing the forwarding information correspondence.
Specifically, the storage unit 921 may store forwarding information in the PE, such as a correspondence relationship between a cTag or an fTag, an egress port, an ingress port, Vsilndex, an egress tag and an ingress tag of the forwarding device, in advance, in a table. As shown in tables 1 to 8 above.
The searching unit 922 is configured to determine, according to the control VID and the forwarding information carried in the ethernet packet received by the receiving module 910, an egress port corresponding to the ethernet packet received by the forwarding receiving module 910 by searching the forwarding information correspondence table stored in the storage unit 921.
Specifically, when the ethernet packet to be forwarded received by the receiving module 910 is an ethernet packet forwarded by an NPE, the searching unit 922 determines an output port corresponding to forwarding the ethernet packet by searching a forwarding information corresponding relationship, which is stored in the storage unit 921 and is shown in table 5, according to a control virtual local area network identifier carried by the ethernet packet and the input port information used when receiving the ethernet packet;
or,
the searching unit 922 first determines, according to the control vlan id carried in the ethernet packet and the ingress port information used when receiving the ethernet packet, a vlan instance index corresponding to the control vlan id carried in the ethernet packet by searching a forwarding information corresponding relationship shown in table 6 and stored in the storage unit 921;
then, the searching unit 922 determines an output port corresponding to forwarding the ethernet packet by searching the forwarding information corresponding relationship, which is stored in the storage unit 921 and is shown in table 7, according to the control vlan id and the determined virtual switch instance index carried in the ethernet packet.
When the ethernet packet to be forwarded received by the receiving module 910 is an ethernet packet forwarded by a UPE, the searching unit 922 determines an output port corresponding to forwarding the ethernet packet by searching a forwarding information corresponding relationship, as shown in table 5, stored in the storage unit 921 according to a control virtual local area network identifier carried in the ethernet packet and a device tag of the UPE carried in the ethernet packet;
or,
the searching unit 922 first determines, according to the control vlan id carried in the ethernet packet and the device tag of the UPE carried in the ethernet packet, a vlan index corresponding to the control vlan id carried in the ethernet packet by searching the forwarding information corresponding relationship shown in table 8 and stored in the storage unit 921;
then, the searching unit 922 determines an output port corresponding to forwarding the ethernet packet by searching the forwarding information corresponding relationship, which is stored in the storage unit 921 and is shown in table 7, according to the control vlan id and the determined virtual switch instance index carried in the ethernet packet.
In a specific embodiment of the PE provided in the embodiment of the present invention, the forwarding module 930 may specifically forward the ethernet packet to be forwarded, which is received by the receiving module 910, to the UPE or the NPE through the egress port determined by the determining module 920.
Specifically, when the ethernet packet to be forwarded needs to be forwarded to the UPE, the forwarding module 930 may insert the PE control vlan id corresponding to the control vlan id carried in the ethernet packet and the device tag issued by the PE into the ethernet packet, and send the modified ethernet packet.
When the ethernet packet to be forwarded needs to be forwarded to the NPE, the forwarding module 930 may delete the control vlan id carried by the ethernet packet, and send the modified ethernet packet.
As can be seen from the above description, the PE provided in the embodiment of the present invention receives an ethernet packet to be forwarded, where the ethernet packet carries a control virtual local area network identifier; determining an output port corresponding to the Ethernet message to be forwarded according to the control virtual local area network identifier and the forwarding information; and forwarding the Ethernet message through the output port. Therefore, under the condition that the message is still forwarded in a unicast mode, the corresponding output port of the forwarded Ethernet message is determined according to the control virtual local area network identifier and the forwarding information carried by the Ethernet message, so that the condition that the forwarding equipment needs to learn the media access control address when forwarding the Ethernet message is avoided, and the Ethernet message forwarding efficiency of the forwarding equipment is ensured.
As shown in fig. 11, in the virtual private lan service network, the system may specifically include a User side operator Edge device 1110 (UPE: User Facing Provider Edge) and an operator Edge device 1120 (PE: Provider Edge). Wherein:
the user-side provider edge device 1110 is configured to receive an ethernet packet to be forwarded, where the ethernet packet carries a control virtual local area network identifier, determine an egress port corresponding to forwarding the ethernet packet according to the control virtual local area network identifier and forwarding information carried by the ethernet packet, and forward the ethernet packet to the provider edge device 1120 or the user-side device through the egress port;
the provider edge device 1120 is configured to receive an ethernet packet to be forwarded, where the ethernet packet carries a control virtual local area network identifier, determine an egress port corresponding to forwarding the ethernet packet according to the control virtual local area network identifier and forwarding information carried by the ethernet packet, and forward the ethernet packet to a network side provider edge device or a user side provider edge device 1110 through the egress port.
In another specific embodiment of the ethernet packet forwarding system provided in this embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 12, the system may further include:
a user side device 1130, configured to send an ethernet packet to the user side provider edge device 1110, or receive the ethernet packet forwarded by the user side provider edge device 1110;
a network side operator edge device 1140, configured to send an ethernet packet to the operator edge device 1120, or receive the ethernet packet forwarded by the operator edge device 1120.
For a specific operation process of the ethernet packet forwarding system provided in the embodiment of the present invention, please refer to the technical solutions shown in fig. 2 to 10 provided in the embodiments of the present invention, which are not described herein again.
As can be seen from the above description, in the ethernet message forwarding system provided in the embodiment of the present invention, an ethernet message to be forwarded is received, where the ethernet message carries a control virtual local area network identifier; determining an output port corresponding to the Ethernet message to be forwarded according to the control virtual local area network identifier and the forwarding information; and forwarding the Ethernet message through the output port. Therefore, under the condition that the message is still forwarded in a unicast mode, the corresponding output port of the forwarded Ethernet message is determined according to the control virtual local area network identifier and the forwarding information carried by the Ethernet message, so that the condition that the forwarding equipment needs to learn the media access control address when forwarding the Ethernet message is avoided, and the Ethernet message forwarding efficiency of the forwarding equipment is ensured.
Through the above description of the embodiments, those skilled in the art will clearly understand that the present invention may be implemented by software plus a necessary hardware platform, and certainly may be implemented by hardware, but in many cases, the former is a better embodiment. With this understanding in mind, all or part of the technical solutions of the present invention that contribute to the background can be embodied in the form of a software product, which can be stored in a storage medium, such as a ROM/RAM, a magnetic disk, an optical disk, etc., and includes instructions for causing a computer device (which can be a personal computer, a server, or a network device, etc.) to execute the methods according to the embodiments or some parts of the embodiments of the present invention.

Claims (15)

1. An ethernet message forwarding method in a virtual private local area network service network, the method comprising:
receiving an Ethernet message to be forwarded, wherein the Ethernet message carries a control virtual local area network identifier;
determining an output port corresponding to the Ethernet message to be forwarded according to the control virtual local area network identifier and the forwarding information;
and forwarding the Ethernet message through the output port.
2. The method according to claim 1, wherein when the receiving the ethernet packet to be forwarded is receiving an ethernet packet forwarded from a user side, correspondingly, the determining, according to the control vlan id and the forwarding information, an egress port corresponding to forwarding the ethernet packet comprises:
the user side operator edge equipment determines an output port corresponding to the Ethernet message according to a control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message and the input port information adopted when the Ethernet message is received;
or,
firstly, the edge device of the operator at the user side determines a virtual switching instance index corresponding to the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message according to the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message and the input port information adopted when the Ethernet message is received; and then, the user side operator edge equipment determines an output port corresponding to forwarding the Ethernet message according to the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message and the determined virtual switching instance index.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein forwarding the ethernet packet through the egress port comprises:
inserting the user side operator edge device control virtual local area network identifier corresponding to the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message and the device label issued by the user side operator edge device into the Ethernet message, and sending the modified Ethernet message.
4. The method according to claim 1, wherein when the receiving the ethernet packet to be forwarded is receiving an ethernet packet forwarded from an edge device of an operator, correspondingly, the determining, according to the control vlan id and the forwarding information, an egress port corresponding to forwarding the ethernet packet comprises:
the user side operator edge device determines to forward an output port corresponding to the Ethernet message according to a control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message and a device label of the operator edge device carried by the Ethernet message;
or,
firstly, the user side operator edge device determines a virtual exchange instance index corresponding to the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message according to the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message and the device label of the operator edge device carried by the Ethernet message; and then, the user side operator edge equipment determines an output port corresponding to forwarding the Ethernet message according to the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message and the determined virtual switching instance index.
5. The method of claim 4, wherein forwarding the Ethernet packet through the egress port comprises:
and deleting the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message, and sending the modified Ethernet message.
6. The method according to claim 1, wherein when the receiving the ethernet packet to be forwarded is receiving an ethernet packet forwarded from a user-side operator edge device, correspondingly, the determining, according to the control vlan id and the forwarding information, an egress port corresponding to forwarding the ethernet packet comprises:
the operator edge device determines to forward an output port corresponding to the Ethernet message according to a control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message and a device label of the user side operator edge device carried by the Ethernet message;
or,
firstly, the operator edge device determines a virtual switching instance index corresponding to the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message according to the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message and the device label of the user side operator edge device carried by the Ethernet message; and then, the edge device of the operator determines to forward an output port corresponding to the Ethernet message according to the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message and the determined virtual switching instance index.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein forwarding the Ethernet packet through the egress port comprises:
and deleting the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message, and sending the modified Ethernet message.
8. The method according to claim 1, wherein when the receiving the ethernet packet to be forwarded is receiving an ethernet packet forwarded from an edge device of a network side operator, correspondingly, the determining, according to the control vlan id and the forwarding information, an egress port corresponding to forwarding the ethernet packet comprises:
the edge device of the operator determines an output port corresponding to the forwarding of the Ethernet message according to the control virtual local area network identification carried by the Ethernet message and the input port information adopted when the Ethernet message is received;
or,
firstly, the edge device of the operator determines a virtual switching example index corresponding to the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message according to the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message and the input port information adopted when receiving the message; and then, the edge device of the operator determines to forward an output port corresponding to the Ethernet message according to the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message and the determined virtual switching instance index.
9. The method of claim 8, wherein forwarding the ethernet packet through the egress port comprises:
inserting the operator edge device control virtual local area network identifier corresponding to the control virtual local area network identifier carried by the Ethernet message and the device label issued by the operator edge device into the Ethernet message, and sending the modified Ethernet message.
10. A customer-side provider edge device, in a virtual private local area network service network, comprising:
the receiving module is used for receiving an Ethernet message to be forwarded, wherein the Ethernet message carries a control virtual local area network identifier;
a determining module, configured to determine, according to a control virtual local area network identifier and forwarding information carried in the ethernet packet received by the receiving module, an output port corresponding to the ethernet packet to be forwarded;
and the forwarding module is used for forwarding the Ethernet message received by the receiving module through the output port determined by the determining module.
11. The method according to claim 10, wherein when the receiving of the ethernet packet to be forwarded is receiving of an ethernet packet forwarded from a user side, the forwarding information is ingress port information used when receiving the ethernet packet, or the forwarding information is ingress port information used when receiving the ethernet packet or a virtual switch instance index corresponding to a control vlan id carried by the ethernet packet;
when the receiving of the ethernet packet to be forwarded is receiving of an ethernet packet forwarded from an operator edge device, the forwarding information is a device tag of the operator edge device carried in the ethernet packet, or the forwarding information is a device tag of the operator edge device carried in the ethernet packet or a virtual switching instance index corresponding to a control virtual local area network identifier carried in the ethernet packet.
12. An operator edge device, in a virtual private local area network service network, the device comprising:
the receiving module is used for receiving an Ethernet message to be forwarded, wherein the Ethernet message carries a control virtual local area network identifier;
a determining module, configured to determine, according to a control virtual local area network identifier and forwarding information carried in the ethernet packet received by the receiving module, an output port corresponding to the ethernet packet to be forwarded;
and the forwarding module is used for forwarding the Ethernet message received by the receiving module through the output port determined by the determining module.
13. The method according to claim 12, wherein when the receiving of the ethernet packet to be forwarded is receiving an ethernet packet forwarded from a user-side provider edge device, the forwarding information is a device tag of the user-side provider edge device carried in the ethernet packet, or the forwarding information is a device tag of the user-side provider edge device carried in the ethernet packet or a virtual switch instance index corresponding to a control virtual local area network identifier carried in the ethernet packet;
when the receiving of the ethernet packet to be forwarded is receiving of an ethernet packet forwarded from a network side operator edge device, the forwarding information is ingress port information adopted when receiving the ethernet packet, or the forwarding information is ingress port information adopted when receiving the ethernet packet or a virtual switch instance index corresponding to a control virtual local area network identifier carried by the ethernet packet.
14. An ethernet packet forwarding system, in a virtual private local area network service network, comprising a customer-side provider edge and a provider edge, wherein:
the user side operator edge device is used for receiving an Ethernet message to be forwarded, wherein the Ethernet message carries a control virtual local area network identifier, determining an output port corresponding to the Ethernet message to be forwarded according to the control virtual local area network identifier and forwarding information carried by the Ethernet message, and forwarding the Ethernet message to the operator edge device or the user side device through the output port;
the provider edge device is configured to receive an ethernet packet to be forwarded, where the ethernet packet carries a control virtual local area network identifier, determine an egress port corresponding to the ethernet packet to be forwarded according to the control virtual local area network identifier and forwarding information carried by the ethernet packet, and forward the ethernet packet to a network side provider edge device or a user side provider edge device through the egress port.
15. The system of claim 14, further comprising:
the user side equipment is used for sending an Ethernet message to the user side operator edge equipment or receiving the Ethernet message forwarded by the user side operator edge equipment;
and the network side provider edge device is used for sending the Ethernet message to the provider edge device or receiving the Ethernet message forwarded by the provider edge device.
