Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a method and a device for processing cell reselection in an RRC connection establishment process, which are used for solving the problem that in the prior art, cell reselection in the RRC connection establishment process causes conflict between an MM (media reference) connection management process and an MM special process, and further causes call failure.
The invention provides a method for processing cell reselection in the process of establishing RRC connection, which comprises the following steps:
A. when a user terminal performs cell reselection in the process of establishing RRC connection with UTRAN, an access layer of the user terminal informs a non-access layer of the cell reselection in the process of establishing RRC connection;
B. the non-access layer caches the connection establishment request, detects whether the cell information reported by the access layer is received or not in real time, judges whether the MM connection management process conflicts with the MM special process or not after the reported cell information is received, initiates the MM special process if the conflict occurs, and re-initiates the cached connection establishment request or waits for the network side to re-initiate a call after the MM special process is finished.
Wherein, the cell reselection occurring in the RRC connection establishment procedure between the ue and the UTRAN is:
the user terminal initiates cell reselection triggered by measurement in the connection establishment process to the UTRAN; or, the user terminal reselects the cell on the designated frequency point according to the RRC connection establishment message sent by the UTRAN; or, when receiving the RRC connection reject message sent by the UTRAN, the user terminal performs reselection at a designated frequency point or reselection of a cell in a designated system.
Specifically, when the user equipment reselects a cell on a designated frequency point according to the RRC connection setup message sent by the UTRAN, step a specifically includes:
step A1, the user terminal receives the RRC connection establishment message sent by the UTRAN to reselect the cell on the appointed frequency point;
step A2, the access layer judges whether the cell on the appointed frequency point is selected successfully, if not, the access layer checks whether the counter exceeds the threshold value, if yes, the RRC connection establishment process is terminated; and if not, informing the non-access stratum of cell reselection in the RRC connection process.
When the user terminal receives the RRC connection reject message sent by the UTRAN and performs designated frequency point reselection or cell reselection on a designated system, step a specifically includes:
when the UTRAN sends RRC connection reject message to the user terminal and specifies that the user terminal accesses to the cell on other carrier frequency or system, the access layer checks whether the counter exceeds the threshold value, if so, the RRC connection establishment process is terminated, otherwise, the cell reselection is informed to occur in the RRC connection process of the non-access layer.
When the user terminal performs cell reselection on a designated frequency point or a designated system when receiving the RRC connection reject message sent by the UTRAN, the step B further includes, after caching the connection establishment request in a non-access layer:
the access layer judges whether the user terminal is reselected successfully, when the user terminal is reselected to a cell on a designated carrier frequency or a designated system successfully, the access layer reports cell information to a non-access layer, and starts a timer to ensure that the original working frequency point or the original system is not reselected during the timed operation period; when the user terminal does not successfully reselect the cell on the designated carrier frequency or the designated system, the access layer starts a timer, selects a proper cell to reside, rereads the system information and reports the cell information to the non-access layer after the timer is overtime.
Wherein a duration of the timer is specified by the RRC connection reject message.
The method provided by the invention further has the following characteristics:
in the step B, the specific processing procedure after the occurrence of the conflict is as follows: the non-access layer judges whether the cached connection establishment request is a calling party or a called party, if the cached connection establishment request is the calling party, the MM special process is initiated, and after the special process is finished, the cached connection establishment request is reinitiated; if the call is called, clearing the cached connection establishment request, initiating an MM special process, and waiting for the network side to initiate a call again after the special process is finished.
If the MM connection management process and the MM special process do not conflict, the non-access layer resends the cached connection establishment request message to the access layer, and the access layer initiates the RRC connection establishment process again.
The present invention further provides a user terminal, which specifically includes: a cell reselection message acquisition unit, an access stratum unit, and a non-access stratum unit, wherein,
the cell reselection message acquiring unit is used for acquiring a cell reselection message and triggering the access layer unit when cell reselection occurs in the process of establishing RRC connection between the user terminal and the UTRAN;
the access layer unit is used for sending a cell reselection notification to the non-access layer unit in the RRC connection establishment process, and reporting the cell information to the non-access layer unit after the cell information is acquired;
the non-access layer unit is configured to, after receiving the cell reselection notification sent by the access layer unit, cache the connection establishment request of the user terminal, detect whether the cell information reported by the access layer unit is received in real time, determine whether the MM connection management process conflicts with the MM special process after receiving the reported cell information, initiate the MM special process if the MM connection management process conflicts with the MM special process, and reinitiate the cached connection establishment request or wait for the network side to reinitiate a call after the MM special process is finished.
The cell reselection occurring in the RRC connection establishment procedure between the ue and the UTRAN is:
the user terminal initiates cell reselection triggered by measurement in the connection establishment process to the UTRAN; or,
the user terminal reselects the cell on the designated frequency point according to the RRC connection establishment message sent by the UTRAN; or,
and when receiving the RRC connection rejection message sent by the UTRAN, the user terminal performs designated frequency point reselection or cell reselection on a designated system.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following advantages:
the method provided by the invention enables the non-access layer of the user terminal to actively detect the cell information reported by the access layer, judges whether the MM connection management process conflicts with the MM special process, and further selects whether to terminate the connection establishment process or resend the connection establishment request message, thereby effectively avoiding the problem of RRC connection establishment failure caused by the conflict between the MM connection management process and the MM special process after reselection, and further improving the call success rate; meanwhile, the access layer realizes the operation of forbidding access and forbidding the original service frequency points required by the protocol through selecting the cell information opportunity, and the protocol specification is respected to the maximum extent.

The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The invention provides a method and a device for processing cell reselection in an RRC connection establishment process, which are used for solving the problem that in the prior art, cell reselection in the RRC connection establishment process causes conflict between an MM (media reference) connection management process and an MM special process, and further causes call failure.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, the method for processing cell reselection in an RRC connection establishment procedure provided by the present invention includes the following steps:
step S201, when a user terminal performs cell reselection in the process of establishing RRC connection with UTRAN, an access layer of the user terminal informs a non-access layer of the cell reselection in the process of establishing RRC connection;
step S202, the non-access layer caches the connection establishment request, detects whether the cell information reported by the access layer is received or not in real time, judges whether the MM connection management process conflicts with the MM special process or not after the reported cell information is received, initiates the MM special process if the conflict occurs, and re-initiates the cached connection establishment request or waits for the network side to re-initiate the call after the MM special process is finished.
Wherein, the cell reselection occurring in the process of establishing RRC connection between the user terminal and the UTRAN is as follows:
the user terminal reselects the cell triggered by measurement in the process of initiating connection establishment to the UTRAN; or, the user terminal reselects the cell on the designated frequency point according to the RRC connection establishment message sent by the UTRAN; or, when receiving the RRC connection reject message sent by the UTRAN, the ue performs reselection on a designated frequency point or cell reselection on a designated system.
Specifically, when the user equipment performs cell reselection on the designated frequency point according to the RRC connection setup message sent by the UTRAN, step S201 specifically includes:
a user terminal receives an RRC connection establishment message sent by UTRAN to reselect a cell on a designated frequency point; the access layer judges whether the cell on the designated frequency point is successfully selected, if the cell is not successfully selected, the access layer checks whether the counter exceeds a threshold value, if so, the RRC connection establishment process is terminated, and if not, the non-access layer is informed that the cell reselection occurs in the RRC connection process.
When the user terminal performs the designated frequency point reselection or the designated system reselection when receiving the RRC connection reject message sent by the UTRAN, the step S201 specifically includes:
when UTRAN sends RRC connection reject message to user terminal and assigns user terminal to access other carrier frequency or cell in system, the access layer checks whether the counter exceeds the threshold value, if yes, the RRC connection establishment procedure is terminated, otherwise, the non-access layer is informed that cell reselection occurs in RRC connection procedure.
Further, when the user equipment receives the RRC connection reject message sent by the UTRAN and performs cell reselection on a designated frequency point or a designated system, step S202 further includes:
the access layer judges whether the user terminal is reselected successfully, when the user terminal is reselected to a cell on a designated carrier frequency or a designated system successfully, the access layer reports cell information to the non-access layer, and starts a timer to ensure that the original working frequency point or the original system is not reselected during the timed operation period; when the user terminal unsuccessfully reselects the cell on the designated carrier frequency or the designated system, the access layer starts a timer, selects a proper cell to reside, and rereads the system information and reports the cell information to the non-access layer after the timer is overtime.
Wherein the duration of the timer is specified by the RRC connection reject message.
In step S202, the specific processing procedure of the conflict between the MM connection management procedure and the MM special procedure is as follows:
the non-access layer judges whether the cached connection establishment request is a calling party or a called party, if the cached connection establishment request is the calling party, the MM special process is initiated, and after the special process is finished, the cached connection establishment request is reinitiated; if the call is called, clearing the cached connection establishment request, initiating an MM special process, and waiting for the network side to initiate a call again after the special process is finished.
If the MM connection management process and the MM special process do not conflict, the non-access layer resends the cached connection establishment request message to the access layer, and the access layer initiates the RRC connection establishment process again.

The following describes a specific implementation procedure of the cell reselection processing method provided by the present invention in detail through several specific embodiments.
The embodiment provided by the invention is used for finishing the cell reselection process through the cooperative processing of the access layer and the non-access layer, wherein the non-access layer actively detects the cell information reported by the access layer, thereby avoiding the conflict between the MM connection management process and the MM special process and further improving the call success rate.
In a specific embodiment, this embodiment describes in detail a cell reselection processing procedure triggered by measurement during RRC connection establishment. Specifically, if the physical layer reports the measurement result indicating that a better cell is found in the RRC connection establishment process, thereby causing the RRC to have a cell reselection triggered by the measurement result, the AS (Access Stratum) layer notifies the NAS (Non-Access Stratum) before reselection that the cell reselection occurs in the RRC connection establishment process, the NAS layer caches the connection establishment request message, after the AS layer reports the cell information to the NAS layer, the NAS layer determines whether RA/LA changes according to the reported cell information, if not, the cached connection establishment request message is sent to the AS layer again, and the AS initiates the RRC connection establishment again. If RA/LA changes, NAS layer judges whether the connection establishment request cached is called MT (Mobile termination) or calling MO (Mobile ordered), if MO, then initiates MM special process, after the special process is finished, re-initiates the call of MO cached in advance, if MT business is cached, then clears the connection establishment request message cached, the clearing process shows as rejecting MT business in the concrete implementation process, and waits for the network side to re-initiate the call after the special process is finished.
As shown in fig. 3, the method flowchart provided in this embodiment specifically includes the following steps:

Step S302, the upper layer (non-access layer) of the UE sends a connection establishment request message to the RRC in the access layer.
Step S303, the RRC sends an RRC connection establishment request message to the UTRAN.
Step S304, the RRC determines whether a measurement trigger cell reselection occurs, if so, step S309 is executed, otherwise, step S305 is executed.
Step S305, the RRC receives the RRC connection setup message sent by the UTRAN.
Step S306, the RRC configures the related resources according to the RRC connection establishment message.
Step S307, the RRC sends an RRC connection setup complete message to the UTRAN.

In a second embodiment, this embodiment describes in detail a process of performing cell reselection by the UE according to a frequency point specified in an RRC connection setup message sent by the UTRAN.
Specifically, if in RRC connection establishment, the UE sends an RRC connection request message to the UTRAN, and the UTRAN sends an RRC connection establishment message including information of the designated frequency point to the UE, so that when the UE performs cell reselection processing on the designated carrier frequency, if the UE successfully selects a cell on the designated carrier frequency, the RRC configures related physical layer resources, assembles an RRC connection establishment completion message, and sends the RRC connection establishment completion message to the UTRAN on the uplink DCCH; and if the UE fails to select the cell on the specified carrier frequency, the RRC informs the NAS layer that the cell reselection occurs, and reports the cell information to the NAS layer. After receiving the cell information, the NAS layer judges whether the MM connection management process conflicts with the MM special process. If no conflict occurs, retransmitting the connection establishment request message to RRC, if conflict occurs, judging whether the cached MO service or MT service is MO service, if the MO service is cached, initiating an MM special process, and after the special process is finished, re-initiating the service of the pre-cached MO; if the MT service is cached, rejecting the MT service, initiating an MM special process, and waiting for the network side to reinitiate the call of the MT after the special process is finished.
As shown in fig. 4, which is a flowchart of the method of the embodiment of the present invention, the method specifically includes the following steps:

Step S402, the UE upper layer sends a connection establishment request message to the RRC of the access layer.
Step S403, the RRC sends an RRC connection establishment request message to the UTRAN.
Step S404, the RRC receives the RRC connection setup message sent by the UTRAN.
Step S405, the RRC judges whether the received RRC connection establishment message contains the designated frequency point information, if not, the step S406 is executed; if the designated frequency point message exists, step S409 is executed.
Step S406, the RRC configures the related resources according to the RRC connection setup message.

In a third embodiment, the embodiment describes in detail a process in which the UTRAN generates an RRC connection reject message to the UE, and the UE performs cell reselection at a designated frequency point or reselection processing at a designated system according to the RRC connection reject message.
Specifically, if the UE sends an RRC connection request message to the UTRAN during RRC connection establishment, the UTRAN may send an RRC connection reject message to the UE due to network congestion, and specify that the UE accesses another carrier frequency or system. If UTRAN appoints UE to access other carrier frequency, RRC needs to judge whether counter V300 exceeds threshold value N300, if V300 > N300, RRC connection establishment is terminated, otherwise, NAS layer RRC is informed to generate cell reselection. If the UE reselects to the designated carrier frequency and successfully resides in the designated carrier frequency, the RRC reports cell information to the NAS layer, and simultaneously starts a timer to ensure that the original working frequency point cannot be reselected during the running period of the timing period, wherein the duration of the timer is designated by an RRC connection rejection message; if the UE fails to reselect the designated carrier frequency, the RRC starts a timer and selects a proper cell to reside, and after the timer is overtime, the RRC rereads the system information and reports the cell information to the NAS layer; if UTRAN appoints UE to access other system, RRC needs to judge whether V300 counter exceeds threshold value N300, if V300 is more than N300, RRC connection establishment is stopped, otherwise, NAS layer RRC is informed to generate cell reselection. If the UE successfully selects the designated system, suspending a 3G protocol stack, starting a timer after the 2G reselection is successful, reporting cell information to an NAS layer, and ensuring that the 3G system is not reselected during the running period of the timer; if the UE fails to select the designated system, the RRC starts a timer and selects a proper cell to reside, and after the timer is overtime, the RRC rereads the system information and reports the cell information to the NAS layer. After receiving the cell information, the NAS layer judges whether the MM connection management process conflicts with the MM special process. Retransmitting the connection setup request message to the RRC if no collision occurs; if conflict occurs, whether the cached MO service or MT service is judged, if the MO service is the cached MO service, an MM special process is initiated, and after the special process is finished, the service of the pre-cached MO is initiated again; if the MT service is cached, rejecting the MT service, initiating an MM special process, and waiting for the network side to reinitiate the call of the MT after the special process is finished.
As shown in fig. 5, which is a flowchart of the method of this embodiment, the method specifically includes the following steps:
step S501 starts.
Step S502, the UE upper layer sends a connection establishment request message to the RRC of the access layer.
Step S503, the RRC sends an RRC connection establishment request message to the UTRAN.
Step S504, the RRC receives the RRC connection reject message from the UTRAN.
Step S505, the RRC determines whether the counter V300 exceeds the threshold value N300, if so, step S506 is executed, otherwise, step S507 is executed
Step S506, the RRC connection establishment procedure is terminated, and the RRC connection establishment procedure fails.
Step S507, determining whether the UTRAN specifies the UE to reselect to another carrier frequency or system, if not, performing step S508, otherwise, performing step S510.
Step S508, the RRC starts a timer.
In step S509, the RRC executes step S503 after the timer expires.
Step S510, the RRC notifies the non-access stratum that cell reselection occurs during RRC connection establishment.
Step S511, the RRC judges whether the UE reselects the appointed frequency point or the appointed mode, if the UE reselects the appointed frequency point, the step S512 is executed; if the system is reselected to the designated system, step S515 is executed;
step S512, the RRC judges whether the UE successfully selects the cell on the appointed frequency point, if not, the step S513 is executed; if the selection is successful, step S516 is performed.
Step S513, start the timer, and select a suitable cell to camp on.
And step S514, after the timer is overtime, re-reading the system information and reporting the cell information to the non-access layer, and executing step S517.
Step S515, the RRC determines whether the UE successfully selects the designated system, if the UE successfully selects the designated system, step S516 is executed, otherwise step S513 is executed.
And step S516, starting a timer to ensure that the original working frequency point or the original working mode cannot be reselected during the timing operation.
And step S517, the RRC reports the cell information to the non-access layer.
Step S518, the non-access stratum judges whether RA/LA changes, if so, step S519 is executed; and if the change does not occur, the RRC connection establishment process is initiated again.
Step S519, determining whether the cache service is an MO service or an MT service, and if so, executing step S520; if the MT service is the MT service, the MT service is rejected, and then step S520 is executed.
Step S520, after the UE upper layer uses the link establishment cause of the special service, step S502 is executed.

The present invention further provides a user terminal, as shown in fig. 6, which specifically includes: a cell reselection message acquisition unit 610, an access stratum unit 620, and a non-access stratum unit 630, wherein,
a cell reselection message obtaining unit 610, configured to obtain a cell reselection message when cell reselection occurs during RRC connection establishment between a user equipment and a UTRAN, and trigger an access layer unit 620.
The access layer unit 620 is configured to send a cell reselection notification to the non-access layer unit 630 during RRC connection establishment, and report the cell information to the non-access layer unit 630 after obtaining the cell information.
A non-access stratum unit 630, configured to, after receiving the cell reselection notification sent by the access stratum unit 620, cache the connection establishment request of the user terminal this time, detect whether the cell information reported by the access stratum unit 620 is received in real time, determine whether the MM connection management process conflicts with the MM special process after receiving the reported cell information, if the conflict occurs, initiate the MM special process, and after the MM special process is ended, reinitiate the cached connection establishment request or wait for the network side to reinitiate the call.
Wherein, the cell reselection occurring in the RRC connection establishment process between the user terminal and the UTRAN is as follows:
