Abstract
The invention relates to a method and a system for displaying messages during the communication of a mobile phone. The method comprises the following steps of: receiving messages transmitted by a wireless communication network during the communication of the mobile phone; extracting the received messages; and displaying the extracted messages on an external display device connected to the mobile phone. The method and the system allow a user to check a calling number or specific contents of short messages conveniently during the communication with the mobile phone so as not to miss important things.

The information display method and system in the mobile phone communication process provided by the invention mainly comprise two parts, namely a mobile phone 100 and an external display device 200. Fig. 1 is a block diagram of a mobile phone 100 according to the present invention, wherein the mobile phone 100 includes a radio frequency unit; a baseband circuit; an LCD; a RAM; a SIM; a central processing unit; an external connection detection unit 101 connected to the central processing unit for detecting whether the mobile phone is in communication connection with the external display device; the information sending unit 102 is connected to the central processing unit, and is configured to send information data received by the mobile phone 100 during a call, where the information sending unit 102 may be a wireless information receiving unit (e.g., a bluetooth module) or a wired information receiving unit (e.g., a USB module), and when in use, the information sending unit 102 is connected to an external display device through a wired or wireless connection; an information extracting unit 103 is connected to the central processing unit, and is configured to extract information data (for example, a short message or an incoming call message, which is taken as an example for convenience of understanding) received by the mobile phone 100 during a call, and transmit the information data to the information sending unit 102.

Fig. 3 is a basic flowchart of the present invention, please refer to fig. 1, fig. 2, and fig. 3, in the process of a call, if a third party makes a call or receives a new short message (in step S301), the external connection detection unit 101 of the mobile phone 100 detects whether the information sending unit 102 of the mobile phone 100 is connected to the external display device 200 (in step S302), and if the external display device 200 is not connected, the mobile phone 100 processes the incoming call or the short message as normal, for example, sends a vibration or sound prompt (in step S303); if the explicit connection detecting unit 101 detects that the mobile phone 100 is connected to the external display device 200 at this time, the cpu instructs the information extracting unit 103 to extract the short message or incoming call information data received during the call from an information storage unit such as a RAM or a memory card of the mobile phone 100, which stores the short message and incoming call information, and then the cpu instructs the information sending unit 102 to send the short message or incoming call information data to the external display device 200, the external display device 200 stores the received short message or incoming call information data in the information storage unit 203, and the control unit 201 instructs the ringing unit 206 to remind the user of a new short message or a new incoming call in a ring manner, and also to display a text prompt in the information display unit 205 (step S304). When the left-turn key 403 or the right-turn key 404 is pressed, the input unit 204 (see fig. 2) notifies the control unit 201 (see fig. 2) to control the information display unit 205 to display the page turning information, so as to turn the page of the same short message or incoming call information and display the previous short message or the next short message or incoming call information.
Fig. 5 is a diagram of an embodiment of the external display device 210 according to the present invention, and as shown in the figure, the external display device 210 is different from the external display device 200 in that the external display device 210 further includes an up-turning key 405 and a down-turning key 406. The up-turn key 405 and the down-turn key 406 are used for turning pages to the next or previous short message or incoming call message, so that the operation of the user is more convenient.

The external display device 200 of the present invention may not include the input unit 204, and when the mobile phone 100 receives a short message or incoming call information during a call, the short message or incoming call information is transmitted to the external display device, and the external display device sends a prompt and directly displays the short message or incoming call information in a scrolling manner (or in other automatic page turning manners).
The implementation steps of the embodiment adopting the wireless connection are the same as those of the embodiment adopting the wired connection, and only the wireless information receiving unit is adopted to replace the wired information receiving unit, which is not described again here. 1. An information display method in the process of mobile phone conversation is characterized by comprising the following steps:
receiving information transmitted from a wireless communication network in the process of mobile phone communication;
extracting the received information;
and displaying the extracted information on an external display device connected with the mobile phone.
2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the method further comprises the step of judging whether to connect the external display device or not by the mobile phone when the mobile phone receives new information during the communication process;
if not, the mobile phone processes the information according to normal conditions;
if yes, the mobile phone transmits the information to the external display device and stores the information, and the external display device reminds new information.
3. The method according to claim 2, wherein the external display device determines whether to read the new message, and if not, the external display device does not display the new message; if yes, the external display device displays the new information.
4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the method further comprises the step of judging whether to connect the external display device or not by the mobile phone when the mobile phone receives new information during the communication process;
if not, the mobile phone processes the information according to normal conditions;
if yes, the external display device reminds new information to come;
the external display device judges whether to read the new information, if not, the external display device does not display the new information;
if yes, the mobile phone transmits the information to the external display device and stores the information, and the external display device displays the new information.
5. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the information comprises: short message, multimedia message and/or incoming call information.
6. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the mobile phone is connected to the external display device via a wired or wireless connection.
7. An information display system in the process of mobile phone conversation, the system comprises: the mobile phone body is characterized in that the system further comprises: the external display device is connected with the mobile phone; wherein,
the mobile phone is used for receiving and extracting information transmitted by a wireless communication network in the communication process;
the external display device is used for displaying the information received in the mobile phone communication process.
8. The system as claimed in claim 7, wherein the mobile phone comprises:
the external connection detection unit is used for detecting whether communication connection is established with the external display device or not;
the information extraction unit is used for extracting the information received by the mobile phone in the call process;
and the information sending unit is used for sending the information received by the mobile phone in the communication process to the external display device.
9. The information display system during the communication process of the mobile phone according to claim 7, wherein the external display device comprises:
the information receiving unit is used for receiving information transmitted by the mobile phone in the communication process of the mobile phone;
an information storage unit for storing the information received by the information receiving unit;
an information display unit for displaying the content of the information;
and the control unit is used for controlling each unit of the external display device to work.
