Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and a system for implementing service priorities in a communications network, and a device for setting service priorities and a device for identifying service priorities.
Background
Mobile communication networks, including Global System for mobile communications (GSM), Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA), Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) CDMA2000(Code Division Multiple Access) networks, are widely used.
In application, network resources are limited, and if a large number of users call simultaneously or a large number of calls are directed to a fixed area, the problem of insufficient network resources is caused. For example, a major disaster occurs in a certain area, and a large number of calls are made to the area nationwide in a short time. A large number of calls can cause network congestion, making it difficult to reach the phone, where it is most desirable to ensure high priority calls, particularly to organize disaster-resistant communication services. To ensure that the high-priority call service is processed preferentially, it is necessary that the priority information of the call service can be transmitted in the core network, so that the network device on the call path can take necessary measures to ensure the connection for the priority call.
In the existing mobile communication core network, Multi-Level precedence and Pre-preemption service (MLPP) technology is adopted to transmit service priority information. The Mobile Services Switching Center (MSC) of the calling side transmits the priority to the relevant network device performing the service logic processing by adding the MLPP priority parameter in the ISUP message, thereby ensuring the realization of the priority service.
In a core network of Mobile communication, a Gateway Mobile Switching Center (GMSC) at a source side or a Visited Mobile Switching Center (VMSC) needs to obtain a Roaming Number (MSRN) or a handover Number through a VMSC at a destination side, and then, if a current service is a priority service or a user requesting the current service is a priority user, MLPP technology is used to transmit service priority information to a related network device that processes the current service, so as to preferentially ensure priority processing of the current service. The implementation of the MLPP technology requires that all relevant network devices performing service logic processing support the technology, but the MLPP technology is not widely implemented in a network at present, and priority information of services cannot be acquired under the condition that the network devices do not support the MLPP technology, so that the processing of priority services cannot be guaranteed under the abnormal conditions such as network congestion.

This is further described below by way of example.
The method is used for processing the call service according to the service priority information in a single mobile communication network.
Fig. 5 is a schematic structural diagram of a system for implementing service priority in a mobile communication network according to a second embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 5, the system includes: a source side VMSC or GMSC501, a TMSC502 and a destination side VMSC 500. In this embodiment, the device for setting the service priority is a destination-side switching center device in the third network, for processing a certain call service according to the service priority information, in this embodiment, the destination-side switching center device in the third network is a VMSC500 on the destination side, and the device for identifying the service priority is a device for processing the call service in the third network, in this embodiment, the device for processing the call service in the third network includes: a source side VMSC or GMSC501, a TMSC502, and a destination side VMSC 500. Each apparatus is described in detail below.
The destination-side VMSC500 is configured to determine whether a destination subscriber of the call service is a priority subscriber. And if so, setting and sending the roaming number carrying the service priority information according to the service priority identification rule so as to transfer the service priority information to equipment for processing the call service between mobile communication network offices. And when the judgment result is not yes, sending the common roaming number.
In this embodiment, when the VMSC500 of the destination side receives a Mobile Application Part (MAP) message requesting a roaming number, it determines whether the destination subscriber of the call service is a priority subscriber. If so, according to the service priority identification rule, a roaming number carrying service priority information is allocated and sent to the source side VMSC or GMSC 501. If not, the allocated ordinary roaming number is sent to the GMSC or VMSC501 on the source side.
The number format of the roaming number is country code CC + mobile service access code NDC + operator decision code LSP + temporary allocation code XXXX, and the service priority identification rule of this embodiment identifies the service priority by using the XXXX component in the above coding format. The service priority identification rule includes, but is not limited to, the following modes:
(1) the value or value range of a specific code bit and a specific code segment identifies the service priority information.
Alternatively, the XXXX component has a number with a particular prefix identifying the service priority, e.g. 1XXX or 10XX is identified as high priority, otherwise normal priority.
Optionally, the 2 nd number of the XXXX component identifies the service priority for a specific number, e.g. when the 2 nd number is 0, i.e. X0XX identifies a high priority, otherwise it is a normal priority.
Optionally, the 2 nd number of the XXXX component belongs to a specific number range to identify the service priority, for example, when the 2 nd number belongs to the range of 0 to 2, i.e., X0XX to X2XX are identified as high priority, and otherwise, the 2 nd number is a normal priority.
Optionally, the XXXX component belongs to a specific number range identifying a service priority, e.g., X100 to X199 are identified as high priority, otherwise as normal priority.
(2) A particular number bit parity identifies the traffic priority information.
Optionally, the 1 st digit of the XXXX component is odd and is identified as high priority and even is identified as normal priority.
After the GMSC or VMSC501 at the source side receives the roaming number sent by the destination side VMSC500, according to the service priority identification rule, it determines whether the roaming number carries service priority information, including:
a) when the GMSC or VMSC501 at the source side determines that the information carries the service priority, the call service is preferentially processed. The GMSC or VMSC501 on the source side continues to connect the current call and sends an Initial Address Message (IAM) Message to the TMSC, where the IAM Message includes a roaming number carrying service priority information with its temporary allocation code portion.
b) The GMSC or VMSC501 at the source side determines that the call service is not carrying service priority information and is a normal roaming number, further determines whether the requesting subscriber of the call service is a priority subscriber, and preferably processes the call service if the requesting subscriber of the call service is a priority subscriber. Specifically, it adds a specific prefix number carrying service priority information to the normal roaming number (for example, adds prefix number "999" before the normal roaming number) according to the service priority identification rule, continues to continue to connect the call, and sends an IAM message to TMSC 502. The IAM message contains roaming number carrying service priority information with prefix number.
In this embodiment, the GMSC or VMSC501 on the source side may determine whether the requesting subscriber of the call service is a priority subscriber according to the stored record. For example, the network facilitator provides priority service to the subscriber, and thus records the requesting subscriber for the call service as a priority subscriber in the device.
The TMSC502 receives the IAM message sent by the GMSC or VMSC501 on the source side. According to the service priority identification rule, the calling service is identified as a priority service by the service priority information, and then the calling service is processed preferentially. The TMSC502 continues the call and sends an IAM message to the VMSC500 on the destination side, where the IAM message includes a roaming number carrying the service priority information.
The VMSC500 on the destination side receives the IAM message sent by the TMSC 502. When the calling service is identified as the priority service by the service priority information according to the service priority identification rule, the calling service is processed preferentially.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, the device for setting the service priority may also be a source side switching center device in a third network, and is configured to determine whether a requesting user for calling a service is a priority user, and when the requesting user for calling the service is the priority user, add a specific prefix number carrying service priority information to a general call number used between offices of the third network, which is obtained from a destination side switching center device in the third network, according to a service priority identification rule; and
and the calling number is used for sending the calling number with the specific prefix number so as to transmit the service priority information to the equipment for processing the service between the third network offices, so that the equipment for processing the service between the third network offices processes the calling service according to the service priority information after identifying the service priority information according to a service priority identification rule.

Fig. 11 is a flowchart of a method for implementing service priority in a mobile communication network according to an eighth embodiment of the present invention. This embodiment describes the implementation of processing services according to service priority information in different communication networks. Referring to fig. 11, the method includes the steps of:
s1101, a source side switching center device in a first network judges whether a user requesting a call service is a priority user, and when the judgment is yes, a specific prefix number carrying service priority information is added to a called number according to a service priority identification rule.
S1102, the source side switching center device in the first network sends the called number with the specific prefix number, so as to transmit the service priority information to the device for processing the call service between the offices in the communication network, so that the devices process the call service according to the service priority information.
In this embodiment, the device for processing the call service between the offices in the communication network includes a device for processing the call service in the first network and a device for processing the call service in the second network.
Optionally, an implementation manner of this embodiment is:
after receiving the called number with the specific prefix number, the equipment for processing the call service in the first network processes the call service according to the first service priority information and transmits the called number with the specific prefix number;
after receiving the called number with a specific prefix number, gateway switching center equipment in a second network requests a roaming number used between second network offices from destination side switching center equipment in the second network according to the first service priority information;
the destination side switching center equipment in the second network judges whether the destination user of the call service is a priority user, and when the destination user of the call service is judged to be a priority user, second service priority information is set for the roaming number used between the second network offices according to a service priority identification rule;
and the destination side switching center equipment in the second network sends the roaming number provided with the second service priority information so as to transmit the second service priority information to the equipment for processing the call service between the second network offices, so that the equipment processes the call service according to the second service priority information.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, when the destination-side switching center device in the second network determines that the destination user of the call service is not a priority user, a common roaming number is allocated and sent;
after the gateway switching center equipment in the second network receives the common roaming number and recognizes that the common roaming number does not carry second service priority information, adding a specific prefix number carrying the first service priority information to the common roaming number according to the first service priority information and a service priority identification rule;
and the gateway switching center equipment in the second network sends the roaming number with the specific prefix number so as to transmit the first service priority information to the equipment for processing the call service between the second network offices, so that the equipment for processing the call service between the second network offices processes the call service according to the first service priority information.
Optionally, another embodiment of this embodiment is:
after receiving the called number with the specific prefix number, the equipment for processing the call service in the first network processes the call service according to the first service priority information and transmits the called number with the specific prefix number;
after receiving the called number with the specific prefix number, the gateway switching center equipment in the second network requests a roaming number used between the second network offices from the destination side switching center equipment in the second network according to the first service priority information;

and the gateway switching center equipment in the second network sends the roaming number with the specific prefix number so as to transmit the first service priority information to the equipment for processing the call service between the second network offices, so that the equipment for processing the call service between the second network offices processes the call service according to the first service priority information.
The mode of the service priority identification rule in this embodiment specifically refers to the description of the system part in this embodiment of the present invention, and is not described herein again.
The following further illustrates embodiments of the present invention by way of specific examples.
Fig. 12 is a schematic diagram of a call flow implementation for implementing service priority in an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 12, in the present embodiment, a PSTN UE calls an MS1 as an example, and a core network uses an ISUP (ISDN User part) as an example, where a signaling message of the ISUP includes an IAM. Other signaling protocols, such as Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), are also similar. The place labeled "control point" in the figure represents the location where the call traffic is prioritized.
Assume that the mobile roaming number MSRN specific number bit is "9" identifying priority call traffic or the MSRN number is preceded by a prefix "999" identifying priority call traffic, such as a CC + NDC + LSP +9XXX or 999+ MSRN number. And issuing the service priority identification rule to VMSC-A, TMSC and GMSC through configuration. In this embodiment, one control point corresponds to one step, which includes the following steps:
step S1201, when VMSC-A receives the MSRN fetching message sent by Home Location Register (HLR), VMSC-A judges whether MS1 is the priority user. When the judgment is yes, the VMSC-A allocates the MSRN which identifies the service priority information by 9 XXX. And when the judgment result is not yes, allocating the normal MSRN.
In this embodiment, when the GMSC receives the call request, it sends a message of routing information to the HLR. When HLR receives the message of getting route information, it sends the message of getting MSRN to VMSC-A. VMSC-A sends the message of getting MSRN response to HLR. And when the HLR receives the message for taking the MSRN response, the HLR sends the message for taking the routing response to the GMSC. Wherein, the message of the routing response comprises MSRN distributed by VMSC-A.
Step S1202, GMSC analyzes whether the received MSRN number carries the service priority information according to the service priority identification rule.
When the analysis is yes, the GMSC prioritizes the call.
In this embodiment, the priority processing of the call may be that the GMSC continues to connect the call, and sends an IAM message to the TMSC, where the IAM message includes an MSRN that uses a temporary allocation code to carry service priority information.
When the analysis is no, but the GMSC judges the request user (PSTN UE) of the call as a priority user according to the stored priority user record, the call is processed preferentially.
In this embodiment, the priority processing of the call may be: adding prefix 999 in front of the received MSRN, continuing to continue to connect the current call, and sending IAM message to TMSC, wherein the IAM message contains MSRN carrying service priority information by prefix number.
When the analysis is not yes and the PSTN UE is known to be a common user, the call is processed according to the existing common call.
Step S1203, the TMSC receives the IAM sent by the GMSC, and analyzes whether the MSRN carried by the IAM carries service priority information according to the service priority identification rule. And if the analysis is yes, continuing to connect the call and sending an IAM message to the VMSC-A, wherein the IAM message contains the MSRN carrying the service priority information.
Step S1204, VMSC-A receives IAM that TMSC sends, whether MSRN that IAM carries service priority information according to the service priority identification rule. When the analysis is yes, continuing to continue the call.
It should be noted that, in this embodiment, the connection processing mode of the network device performing service processing on the priority call may be implemented by using reserved resources or a mode of occupying resources of a normal call.
Fig. 13 is a schematic diagram of another call flow implementation for implementing service priority in the embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 13, the call of the present embodiment is exemplified by the MS1 calling a PSTN UE, and the place labeled "control point" in the figure represents a location where priority control is performed on call traffic.
Assume that the called number is preceded by a prefix of "999" to identify a priority call service, such as 999+ MSRN. And issuing the service priority identification rule to VMSC-A, TMSC and GMSC through configuration. In this embodiment, one control point corresponds to one step, which includes the following steps:
In this embodiment, the priority processing of the call may be: prefix 999 is added before the called number, then the call is continued, and IAM information is sent to TMSC, the IAM information includes the called number with priority information.
Fig. 14 is a schematic diagram of an implementation of a handover procedure for implementing service priority in the embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 14, the present embodiment takes as an example that the MS switches from VMSC-a to VMSC-B, where the place labeled "control point" in the figure represents the location where priority control is performed on the switch.
Assuming that the handover number specific number bit is "9" identifies a priority handover service, or the prefix number of the handover number is "999" identifies a priority handover service, such as CC + NDC + LSP +9XXX or 999+ "handover number". And issuing the service priority rule to the VMSC-A, TMSC and VMSC-B through configuration. In this embodiment, one control point corresponds to one step, which includes the following steps:
step 1401, VMSC-B receives the prepare handover request message, and VMSC-B determines whether MS is a priority user. If so, the VMSC-A assigns a handoff number identifying the service priority information with 9 XXX. If not, a normal handover number is assigned.
Step 1402, the VMSC-a analyzes whether the received switching number carries the service priority information according to the service priority identification rule.
And when the analysis is yes, the switching service is processed preferentially.
In this embodiment, the priority processing of the handover service may be: the GMSC continues to continue the current switching and sends an IAM message to the TMSC, wherein the IAM message contains a switching number which uses the temporary allocation code to carry the service priority information.
When the analysis is not yes, and the VMSC-A judges whether the MS is a priority user, if so, the switching service is processed preferentially.
In this embodiment, the priority processing of the current handover service may be: adding prefix 999 before the received common switching number, continuing to connect the switching service, and sending IAM message to TMSC, where the IAM message contains the switching number carrying service priority information with the prefix number.
And when the analysis is negative and the request user of the switching service is judged to be a common user, processing the switching service according to the existing common switching.
Step 1403, the TMSC receives the IAM sent by the VMSC-a, and analyzes whether the handover number carried by the IAM carries service priority information according to the service priority identification rule. If yes, continuing to continue the switching service and sending IAM message to VMSC-B, wherein the IAM message contains switching number carrying priority information.
Step 1404, the VMSC-B receives the IAM sent from the TMSC, and analyzes whether the handover number carried by the IAM carries the service priority information according to the service priority identification rule. And continuing to continue the switching service when the analysis is yes.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, the manner of preferentially processing the service includes, but is not limited to, continuing to continue the service, and may also be another manner of preferentially processing the service with the same current priority (for example, processing the services with the same current priority in parallel), so as to ensure that the service with the high priority is implemented. Especially, in the case that the current network resources are not enough due to network abnormality, it is more necessary to implement the high-priority service as soon as possible.
The embodiment of the invention transmits the service priority information by using the roaming number, the switching number or the called number between the communication network offices, so that equipment for processing a certain service between the communication network offices can identify the service as a priority service through the number carrying the service priority information, thereby ensuring the processing of the priority service. Moreover, the problem that the relevant network equipment for processing the service cannot acquire the service priority information of the service because the MLPP technology is not supported, so that the optimal service processing cannot be ensured is also solved. Further, in the embodiment of the present invention, the VMSC on the destination side adds a step of determining whether the service requesting subscriber or the destination subscriber is a priority subscriber, and when the service requesting subscriber or the destination subscriber is a priority subscriber, preferentially allocates the roaming number or the handover number. Under the condition of limited network resources, the condition that the VMSC at the destination side fails to allocate the roaming number to cause the failure of the call service or fails to allocate the switching number to cause the failure of the switching can be avoided, and the processing of the priority service is better ensured.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the implementation of the service priority only describes two types, namely, the priority service and the normal service, but the service priority includes, but is not limited to, the two types. Service priority identification rules containing multiple priority levels, such as highest priority, second highest priority, and normal priority, may be defined. The network device can identify different service priorities according to the service priority identification rule, or identify the level of the current priority service according to the service priority identification rule, thereby realizing the priority processing of the service with the highest priority and the second highest priority.
