Detailed Description
In order to accurately position a specific program in a live channel of an IPTV system, the embodiment of the invention provides a method, a device and a system for addressing and address resolution of the live program in the IPTV system. The following describes in detail a method, an apparatus, and a system for addressing and address resolution of a live program in an IPTV system according to an embodiment of the present invention with reference to the drawings.
As shown in fig. 1, a method for addressing a live program in an IPTV system provided in an embodiment of the present invention specifically includes the following steps:
step 11, the terminal sends a position analysis request to address analysis equipment, wherein the position analysis request carries a program identifier;
the terminal can be a personal computer, or a Set Top Box (STB) + a common television; the program Identifier may be a Content Reference Identifier (CRID) defined in a television Anytime (TV Anytime), or may be other identifiers capable of identifying a program.
Step 12, the terminal receives a locator returned by the address resolution equipment, wherein the locator comprises channel information and program information corresponding to the program identifier;
wherein the channel information is used for addressing live channels; the program information may include one or more of program playing time, program version, whether to charge, whether to realize high definition, and the like, and mainly provides a judgment condition for a user to select and watch a program in a live channel. Of course, the program information is not limited to the above information and may include other information.
And step 13, the terminal analyzes the locator to obtain the channel information and the program information.
In the method for addressing the live program in the IPTV system provided by the embodiment of the invention, the terminal sends a position analysis request to the address analysis equipment, and then receives the locator returned by the address analysis equipment, wherein the locator comprises channel information and program information corresponding to the program which the user wants to watch. In this way, the user can know which live channels have programs that the user wants to watch, and also clearly know that the programs that the user wants to watch appear at specific positions (for example, specific playing time) of the live channels.
As shown in fig. 2, the method for resolving the address of the live program in the IPTV system provided in the embodiment of the present invention specifically includes the following steps:
step 21, an address resolution device receives a position resolution request sent by a terminal, wherein the position resolution request carries a program identifier;
step 22, the address resolution equipment determines a locator corresponding to the program identifier, wherein the locator comprises channel information and program information;
step 23, the address resolution equipment sends the locator to the terminal; or selecting a locator and sending the program content corresponding to the selected locator to the terminal.
Wherein, the address resolution device can be located at a user terminal, such as a set-top box; or may be a Service Selection Function (SSF) entity or a Service Control Function (SCF) entity located at the network side; or may be a separate functional entity.
The method for analyzing the address of the live program in the IPTV system, provided by the embodiment of the invention, comprises the steps of firstly determining a locator corresponding to a program identifier carried in a position analysis request, wherein the locator comprises channel information and program information, then sending the locator to a user terminal, or selecting a locator from the locator, and directly playing the program content corresponding to the selected locator to the user terminal; thus, the program identification provided by the user can be converted into at least one set of specific channel information and program information corresponding to the program identification, thereby positioning a specific program in the live channel.
The Locator (Locator) mentioned in the above method includes both the channel information and the program information corresponding to the live program, and in the embodiment of the present invention, there are the following two expression modes:
the first method is as follows: the locator is an extended television uniform resource identifier (tv uri).
We refer to here as tvuri _ locator; the method is characterized in that parameters capable of describing instance information in a channel, such as iptv-param parameters, are expanded on the basis of the traditional tv uri. The instance information may be specific program information (which may be a program identifier), or information of a specific time period (such as a play start time and a play end time of the live channel content, or a play start time and a play duration of the live channel content), or a combination of both. Thus, the expanded tv uri may describe not only a channel, but also a specific program in a channel or a program broadcasted in a specific time period.

The newly defined iptv-param parameter may carry, but is not limited to, a mode, a contentID, a start, a duration, an end, etc. parameter as follows.

When tvuri _ locator represents the address of a live program in a live channel in an IPTV system, the meaning of each parameter in IPTV-param is described as follows:
[ mode _ param ] is "scheduled", which means that the address is the address of a live program;
[ contentID _ param ] is the identifier of the live program in the corresponding live channel;
the [ start _ param ] and the [ end _ param ] respectively represent the starting time of the live program in the corresponding live channel;
the duration _ param indicates the duration of the live program.
For example, a program such as "hero" is identified as: crid:// zhangyimou. com/hero
The position in the live channel where the live program appears can be expressed in the following form tvuri _ locator.
1. The broadcasting time of 6 sets of movies in the center is 2008-08-0808:00:00, and the duration is two hours, namely hero:

the above-mentioned application of the extended tv uri in the IPTV system is used to describe specific location information of a certain live program, and this way can be applied not only in the process of addressing live programs in the present invention, but also in other various service environments, such as the application of the extended tv uri in PPV (Pay Per View) service, which is used to control the viewing of specific programs or programs broadcasted in a specific time period.
The second method comprises the following steps: the locator describes the channel information by adopting a channel identifier, and the channel identifier can be in a tv uri form; the locator also includes instance information in other forms.
The example information may include, but is not limited to: the program playing mode, the program instance identification and the effective time of the program playing; the information can be defined by the address resolution device and added, modified and the like, and the information in the iptv-param parameter defined in the first mode can be in any order. The instance information does not belong to a part in the tv uri format but to a program information part of the locator. The program terminal and the program playing server must be able to recognize the program description information so as to be able to extract the program information in the locator.
The association between the above-mentioned channel identification and instance information may be connected by a special symbol, such as the symbol "@".

In order to make the technical solutions and advantages of the methods for addressing and analyzing addresses of live programs in an IPTV system provided in the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the embodiments of the present invention will be described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The first embodiment is as follows:
as shown in fig. 3, when the address resolution device is located in a service selection function entity (SSF) on the network side, a User Equipment (UE) initiates a request for addressing a program location, and then the method for addressing and address resolution of a live program in an IPTV system provided in the embodiment of the present invention specifically includes the following steps:
step 31, the user obtains the program identifier.
A user may obtain a Program identifier CRID of a specific Program through multiple ways such as an Electronic Program Guide (EPG), Email, or a short message, for example, a Program identifier of "kungfu panda" is: crid:// cctv. carton. com/GongFuPanda.
And step 32, the terminal sends a position analysis request to the SSF. The location resolution request includes a program identifier of "kungfu panda".
And step 33, after the address resolution equipment in the SSF determines the corresponding locator according to the program identifier, returning the locator to the terminal.
And the address resolution equipment analyzes the program identification of the kungfu panda, determines the locator corresponding to the program identification and returns one or more locators representing the program position to the user terminal.
The locator may be obtained by querying according to a mapping relationship between the program identifier and the locator (which may be a Content Referencing Table (Content Referencing Table) defined by TV Anytime); or the address resolution device may temporarily generate a locator corresponding to the program identifier after acquiring the channel information and the program information corresponding to the program identifier.
And if the locator corresponding to the program identifier is not analyzed currently, the SSF prompts the user that the current movie does not have the corresponding showing time.
And step 34, the terminal analyzes the received locator.
The terminal analyzes the received locator to obtain the channel information and the program information contained in the locator. The analyzed program information may include one or more of program playing time, program version, whether to charge a fee, whether to have high definition, and the like.
Step 35, the user selects a suitable locator.
The user selects an appropriate locator according to the parsed channel information and program information, that is, the user can select a currently available locator according to the current time or the prompt of the user interface (such as information on whether the program is charged or not, whether the program is high definition or not).
Assuming that the current time is eight hours in 20 nights at 7.2008, the user selects one of the locators, and the chosen locator representing the program location is:

if the current time does not have a suitable channel for playing the program that the user wants to watch, i.e. there is no locator corresponding to the current time, the user can perform step 35 again at a suitable time according to the program information carried in the locator.
Step 36, the user terminal initiates a program playing request.
Because the time for selecting the locator by the terminal accords with the broadcast time interval of the channel of the selected program, a program broadcast request (which can be a live session establishment request) is initiated to a media control function (SCF) entity according to the selected locator, and the program content corresponding to the selected locator is required to be broadcast.
In the Session description protocol (SDP, Session description protocol) of the request for establishing the live Session, the locator may be carried by an a line (attribute line) or other manners:
1) the tvuri _ locator is used directly to obtain the program content in the live channel.

If there is a suitable channel at the current time to play the program that the user wants to watch, the content of the program that the user wants to watch can be obtained directly through the channel information, for example: directly using the channel identifier in tvuri _ locator to obtain the live channel where the program to be watched is located:

2) the program content in the live channel is acquired by using the channel identification in combination with other forms of instance information.
Writing the channel identification into the bc _ service attribute;

Or writing the instance information into eXtensible Markup Language (XML) information carried in a body of a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) message.
If the time for selecting the locator by the terminal is not consistent with the program playing time, the SCF will give a corresponding prompt to the user.
And step 37, the SCF analyzes the received locator and issues the program content.
And the SCF analyzes the locator carried in the program playing request and issues the specific program in the channel corresponding to the selected locator to the user terminal.
When the address resolution device is located in the SCF entity, the processes of addressing, playing, and address resolution of the live program in the IPTV system provided by the embodiment of the present invention are the same as the above steps, and are not described in detail here.
The terminal sends a program identifier corresponding to a program which a user wants to watch to an address resolution device through a position resolution request, the address resolution device determines a locator corresponding to the program identifier and sends the locator to the terminal, then the terminal selects one locator from the locator and initiates a program playing request, and a network side issues program content corresponding to the selected locator to the terminal. The method for addressing and address resolution of the live program in the IPTV system provided by the embodiment of the invention not only can acquire the corresponding live channel according to the requirement of the user, but also can accurately position the specific program which the user wants to watch.
Example two:
as shown in fig. 4, when the address resolution device is located in a service selection function entity (SSF) on the network side, a User Equipment (UE) initiates a request for addressing a program location, and then the method for addressing and address resolution of a live program in an IPTV system provided in the embodiment of the present invention specifically includes the following steps:
step 41, the user obtains the program identifier.
The user obtains the user identifier CRID through various ways such as EPG, Email or short message, for example, the identifier of "kungfu panda" is: crid:// cctv. carton. com/GongFupanda
Step 42, the user terminal sends a location resolution request to the SSF. The location resolution request includes a program identifier of "kungfu panda".
And step 43, the address resolution equipment in the SSF determines the corresponding locator according to the program identifier.
And the address analysis equipment analyzes the program identification of the kungfu panda to obtain one or more locators corresponding to the kungfu panda.
The locator may be a locator corresponding to a program identifier obtained by querying according to a mapping relationship between the program identifier and the locator; or the address resolution device may temporarily generate a locator corresponding to the program identifier after acquiring the channel information and the program information corresponding to the program identifier.
And if the locator corresponding to the program identifier is not analyzed currently, the SSF prompts the user that the current movie does not have the corresponding showing time.
Step 44, the address resolution device selects the appropriate locator.
The address resolution device may select an optimal locator from the above locators according to some filtering conditions (such as information about program playing time, whether the program is charged or not, whether the program is high definition or not, and the like).
Firstly, the address resolution equipment filters a Locator which can not directly play programs at present according to the current time;
if there are still multiple locators, filtering may be performed according to a setting rule of the user (for example, only watching live broadcast and the channel user has signed a contract), or the like, filtering may be performed according to a time point of movie playing (for example, the time point at which playing starts is shortest), or filtering may be performed according to a network side parameter (for example, a bandwidth size, a user area, a priority level provided by an operator), or the like;
finally, a locator representing the optimal program location is selected.
And if the live program corresponding to the locator analyzed by the address analysis equipment does not have the currently playable program, prompting the user that the channel of the program is not played currently temporarily.
Step 45, the SSF returns the selected locator to the terminal.
The address resolution device in the SSF returns the selected locator representing the location of the optimal program to the user terminal. The program location information may be in the form of a tvuri extension that identifies a channel location where the program is located.
Step 46, the terminal parses the received locator.
The terminal analyzes the received locator to obtain the channel information and the program information contained in the locator.
And step 47, the terminal initiates a program playing request.
The terminal initiates a program playing request (which may be a live session establishment request) to a media control function (SCF) entity according to the selected locator, and requests to play the program content corresponding to the selected locator.
In the SDP of the live session establishment request, the locator may be carried through the a-line or in other ways, and the specific way of carrying the locator is the same as that in the first embodiment, and is not described in detail here.
And step 48, the SCF analyzes the received locator and transmits the program content.
And the SCF analyzes the locator carried in the program playing request and issues the specific program in the channel corresponding to the selected locator to the user terminal.
When the address resolution device is located in the SCF entity, the processes of addressing, playing, and address resolution of the live program in the IPTV system provided by the embodiment of the present invention are the same as the above steps, and are not described in detail here.
In the method for addressing and address resolution of the live program in the IPTV system provided by the embodiment of the invention, the terminal sends the program identifier corresponding to the program which the user wants to watch to the address resolution equipment through the position resolution request, the address resolution equipment determines the locator corresponding to the program identifier, then the locator is screened according to certain conditions, the optimal locator is selected and sent to the terminal, and then the terminal initiates the program playing request to play the program content corresponding to the selected locator. According to the method for addressing and address resolution of the live program in the IPTV system, provided by the embodiment of the invention, as the locator is screened once in the address resolution equipment, the program received by the user is the optimal program which can be played currently, the process that the user selects a plurality of locators is omitted, and the time of the user is saved.
Example three:
as shown in fig. 5, when the address resolution device is located at the User Equipment (UE), the User Equipment (UE) initiates a request for addressing the program location, and the method for addressing and address resolution of the live program in the IPTV system provided in the embodiment of the present invention specifically includes the following steps:
step 51, the user obtains the program identifier.
The user obtains the user identifier CRID through various ways such as EPG, Email or short message, for example, the identifier of "kungfu panda" is: crid:// cctv. carton. com/GongFuPanda.
Step 52, the user terminal sends a location resolution request to the address resolution device located in the local area.
And step 53, determining a locator corresponding to the program identifier.
Obtaining one or more locators corresponding to the program identifier of the kungfu panda by inquiring a mapping relation Table (which can be a Content Referencing Table (SSF) defined by TV Anytime and issued by the SSF when a user is started) between the program identifier and the locators; or acquiring the channel information and the program information corresponding to the program identifier, and temporarily generating a locator corresponding to the program identifier by the address resolution equipment.
Step 54, the terminal parses the received locator.
The terminal analyzes the received locator to obtain the channel information and the program information contained in the locator. The analyzed program information may include one or more of program playing time, program version, whether to charge a fee, whether to have high definition, and the like.
Step 55, the user selects the appropriate locator.
The user selects an appropriate locator according to the parsed channel information and program information, that is, the user can select a currently available locator according to the current time or a prompt of the user interface (such as information on whether the program is charged or not, whether the program is high definition or not).
Step 56, the terminal initiates a program play request.
The terminal initiates a program playing request (which may be a live session establishment request) to a media control function (SCF) entity by using the selected locator, and requests the program playing server to play the program content corresponding to the selected locator.
And step 57, the SCF analyzes the received locator and issues the program content.
And the SCF analyzes the locator carried in the program playing request and issues the specific program in the channel corresponding to the selected locator to the user terminal.
In the method for addressing and address resolution of the live program in the IPTV system provided by the embodiment of the invention, the terminal initiates a position resolution request to the address resolution equipment located locally according to the program identifier corresponding to the program which the user wants to watch, the address resolution equipment determines the locator corresponding to the program identifier, and then the terminal selects one locator and initiates a program playing request to play the program content corresponding to the selected locator. The method for addressing and analyzing the address of the live program in the IPTV system provided by the embodiment of the invention not only can acquire the corresponding live channel according to the requirement of the user, but also can accurately position the specific program which the user wants to watch.
Example four:
as shown in fig. 6, when the address resolution device is located in a service control function entity (SCF), a User Equipment (UE) initiates a request for addressing a program location, and the method for addressing and address resolution of a live program in an IPTV system provided in the embodiment of the present invention specifically includes the following steps:
and step 61, the user acquires the program identifier.
The user can obtain the program identifier CRID through various ways such as EPG, Email or short message, for example, the program identifier of "kungfu panda" is: crid:// cctv. carton. com/GongFupanda
Step 62, the user initiates a location resolution request. Including the program identification of kungfu panda.
And step 63, determining a locator corresponding to the program identifier.
And after receiving the position analysis request, the SCF analyzes the program identifier of the kungfu panda to obtain a plurality of locators corresponding to the kungfu panda.
The locator may be a locator corresponding to a program identifier obtained by querying according to a mapping relationship between the program identifier and the locator; or the address resolution device may temporarily generate a locator corresponding to the program identifier after acquiring the channel information and the program information corresponding to the program identifier.
The SCF selects the appropriate locator, step 64.
The SCF filters the plurality of locators according to some filtering conditions (such as the playing time of the program, whether the program is charged or not, whether the program is high-definition or not and the like), and selects an optimal locator which is currently available.
Firstly, the SCF filters a Locator which can not directly play programs at present according to the current time;
if there are still multiple locators, filtering may be performed according to a setting rule of the user (for example, only watching live broadcast and the channel user has signed a contract), or the like, filtering may be performed according to a time point of movie playing (for example, the time point at which playing starts is shortest), or filtering may be performed according to a network side parameter (for example, a bandwidth size, a user area, a priority level provided by an operator), or the like;
finally, a locator representing the optimal program location is selected.
Step 65, the SCF initiates a program play request.
The SCF directly initiates a program playing request (which can be a live session establishment request) locally according to the selected locator, and requests to play the program content corresponding to the selected locator.
And step 66, the SCF analyzes the selected locator and transmits the program content.
And the SCF analyzes the selected locator and issues a specific program in a live channel corresponding to the locator to the user terminal.
The terminal sends a program identifier corresponding to a program which a user wants to watch to an SCF (service gateway function) through a position analysis request, an address analysis device in the SCF determines a locator corresponding to the program identifier, the SCF selects one locator in the analyzed locator, directly initiates a program playing request locally, and sends the program content corresponding to the selected locator to the terminal. The method for addressing and analyzing the live program in the IPTV system provided by the embodiment of the invention can automatically complete a series of processes such as program address analysis, optimal locator screening, program playing and the like only by sending a position analysis request carrying a program identifier by the user terminal, thereby saving the time of a user.
Aiming at the method for addressing and address resolution of the live program in the IPTV system, the embodiment of the invention also provides a device and a system for addressing and address resolution of the live program in the IPTV system, which can realize the method.
As shown in fig. 7, the program terminal provided in the embodiment of the present invention includes a sending module 71, a receiving module 72, and a parsing module 73; wherein,
a sending module 71, configured to send a location resolution request to an address resolution device, where the location resolution request carries a program identifier;
a receiving module 72, configured to receive a locator returned by the address resolution device, where the locator includes channel information and program information corresponding to the program identifier;
and the analyzing module 73 is configured to analyze the locator to obtain the channel information and the program information.
The program terminal may further include a selecting module 74, configured to select a currently available locator according to the channel information and the program information; furthermore, the sending module 71 may be further configured to send a program playing request, where the program playing request includes the selected locator; the receiving module 72 may also be configured to receive program content corresponding to the selected locator.
The program terminal provided by the embodiment of the invention sends a position analysis request to the address analysis equipment, then receives the locator returned by the address analysis equipment, wherein the locator comprises channel information and program information corresponding to a program which a user wants to watch, and then analyzes the locator; in this way, the user can know which live channels have programs that the user wants to watch, and also clearly know that the programs that the user wants to watch appear at specific positions (for example, specific playing time) of the live channels.
As shown in fig. 8, the address resolution device provided in the embodiment of the present invention includes a receiving module 81, a determining module 82, and a sending module 83; wherein,
a receiving module 81, configured to receive a location resolution request sent by a terminal, where the location resolution request carries a program identifier;
a determining module 82, configured to determine a locator corresponding to the program identifier, where the locator includes channel information and program information;
a sending module 83, configured to send the locator to the terminal, or send the program content corresponding to the selected locator to the terminal if one locator is selected.
The determining module 82 has two implementation forms:
1) a determination module 82, comprising:
and the query module is used for querying the locator corresponding to the program identifier according to the mapping relation between the program identifier balance locators.
2) A determination module 82, comprising:
the acquisition module is used for acquiring channel information and program information corresponding to the program identifier;
and the generating module is used for generating a locator corresponding to the program identifier.
The above address resolution device further includes:
a selection module 84, configured to select a currently available locator according to the channel information and the program information; the sending module 83 sends the locator selected by the selection module 84 to the terminal.
The above address resolution device further includes:
the analyzing module 85 is configured to analyze the locator selected by the selecting module 84 to obtain channel information and program information included in the locator; the sending module 83 sends the program content corresponding to the channel information and the program information to the terminal according to the channel information and the program information analyzed by the analyzing module 85.
According to the address resolution equipment provided by the embodiment of the invention, the locator corresponding to the program identifier carried in the position resolution request is inquired according to the mapping relation between the program identifier and the locator, wherein the locator comprises channel information and program information, and the locator is sent to the user terminal; or selecting one locator from the locators, and directly sending the program content corresponding to the selected locator to the user terminal; therefore, the program identification provided by the user can be converted into at least one set of specific channel information and program information corresponding to the program identification, and the positioning of a specific program in the live channel is completed.
As shown in fig. 9, the IPTV system of the present invention includes a program terminal 91 and an address resolution device 92; wherein,
a program terminal 91, configured to send a location resolution request carrying a program identifier to the address resolution device, receive a locator returned by the address resolution device, where the locator includes channel information and program information corresponding to the program identifier, and then resolve the locator;
the address resolution device 92 is configured to receive the position resolution request sent by the program terminal, determine a locator corresponding to the program identifier, and send the locator to the program terminal; or selecting one of the locators and sending the program content corresponding to the selected locator to the program terminal.
The program terminal 91 is further configured to select a currently available locator according to the channel information and the program information, and initiate a program playing request, where the program playing request includes the selected locator;

In the IPTV system provided in the embodiment of the present invention, a program terminal sends a program identifier corresponding to a program that a user wants to watch to an address resolution device through a position resolution request, the address resolution device determines a locator corresponding to the program identifier and sends the locator to the program terminal, and then the program terminal selects a locator and initiates a program playing request according to the selected locator; or, the address resolution equipment selects one locator in the locator analyzed by the address resolution equipment and directly issues the program content corresponding to the selected locator to the program terminal; the IPTV system provided by the embodiment of the invention not only can acquire the corresponding live broadcast channel according to the requirement of the user, but also can accurately position the specific program which the user wants to watch.
