Summary of the invention
An object of the present invention is to provide a kind of packing, be used for distributing and storing a plurality of compressible hygienic articles, it keeps the absorption characteristic of the hygienic article in the said packing, particularly wicking characteristic basically.
This purpose is through a kind of packing realization that is used to distribute and store a plurality of compressible sanitary products; Said packing comprises a plurality of compressible hygienic articles, is used to wrap up big envelope and at least one elastic element of said hygienic article; Said elastic element is used on said compressible sanitary products, applying squeese pressure; Wherein, Elastic element is arranged to said hygienic article is expressed to the total bulk density with 3-6cm3/g, and elastic element is arranged so that: from filling full packing down to the packing of filling 1/3rd, it applies extruding on hygienic article. Therefore, comprise at least one compressible hygienic article and at least one elastic element, said elastic element is used on said at least one compressible sanitary products, applying squeese pressure.
Hygienic article is to be understood that its radical function is to absorb and maintenance body fluid in order to be bulky and compressible article.
The contriver has been found that if extruding is applied on the compressible hygienic article, particularly on its absorbent core, can keep the wicking characteristic of compressible sanitary products basically after packing has been opened. The extruding of hygienic article makes hygienic article keep squeezed state, and therefore keeps their desirable bulk densitys.Have been found that when the extruding on the hygienic article alleviates bulk density increases, and the wicking characteristic and therefore absorption characteristic can worsen along with the time.
Have on said at least one hygienic article of being packaged in of above-mentioned characteristic and apply squeese pressure, particularly on diapers/napkins, thereby keep their initial bulk densitys. Therefore, their wicking characteristic is held, even no longer be filled when full too in packing.Because the wicking characteristic of absorbent core is maintained, so absorption characteristic also is maintained, because the actv. wicking causes being used for the volume that the absorbent core of absorption fluids is expanded.Elastic element is used to push said hygienic article, even a plurality of hygienic articles after said packing is taken out too.
Should be appreciated that amount of compression depends on the material that elastic element is used very much.Desirable elastic element applies constant extruding from filling full packing last hygienic article down to the packing, thereby keeps the wicking characteristic of hygienic article.
According to the present invention, the setting of elastic element and the instruction of prior art are antipodal, and in the prior art, when opening it for the first time, it can expand the extruding of packing to discharge, thereby conveniently takes out hygienic article from packing.
Packing with above-mentioned characteristic has additional advantage, i.e. the setting that keeps clean of hygienic article in the packing, this is owing on hygienic article, apply the elastic element of extruding and cause, though when a plurality of hygienic articles from packing during taking-up too.
Opened and after one or more hygienic article taken out from packing at it; For the squeese pressure on the hygienic article in keeping packing; Take out at least one of them hygienic article from packing after, elastic element still applies squeese pressure on hygienic article.
Preferably, elastic element be dimensioned to feasible: it all applies extruding at hygienic article from filling full packing down to the packing of filling 1/3rd.In a preferred embodiment, from filling full packing, be applied to the extruding substantially constant on the hygienic article down to the packing of filling 1/3rd.This allows to keep the wicking characteristic from filling full packing down to the packing of filling 1/3.
According to contriver's discovery, preferably being dimensioned to of elastic element pushed said hygienic article to have total bulk density of 3-6cm3/g.This extruding guaranteed the wicking characteristic of hygienic article and therefore absorption characteristic be maintained.Specified value is for the absorbing articles that comprises super-absorbent polymer (SAP) and do not have super-absorbent polymer, only comprise that the article that utilize the core that fiber processes are same being fit to.
The different elasticity material can be used for providing elastic element. In a preferred embodiment, natural elastic poly-mer and/or the synthetic elastic polymer of elastic element utilization with high-elongation processed.Below elastic element be particularly advantageous, promptly have the elastic element of at least 100% stretch ratio, preferably at least 200%, more preferably at least 300%, most preferably more than 400%, particularly at least 500%.This elastic element has following advantage, just keeps squeese pressure on the relative broad range of the amount of the hygienic article in packing.Special, utilize elastic element with these material behaviors, can from by the state of hygienic article complete filling down to the state that only keeps several hygienic articles, keep the extruding in the said packing.Preferred, extruding is held last hygienic article in packing.
In a preferred embodiment; Elastic element is processed by low crystallinity polyethylene, metallocene catalysis low crystallinity polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), polyurethane, polyisobutylene (polyisopropene), butadienestyrene copolymer and/or styrene block copolymer; Particularly styrene/isoprene/styrene (SIS), styrene/butadiene/styrene (SBS) or styrene/ethylene-Butadiene periodic copolymer, and/or process by above-mentioned mixture of polymers. These materials or mixtures of material have high stretch ratio, and therefore are applicable to this purpose.Be applicable to and describe in the for example following patent of material of elastic element, but be not limited thereto: WO 2004/021949, and WO 03/047488, and EP 0 521 883, and EP 0 582596, WO 97/20091 and US 5,539,056.
Make it corresponding to the design standard and the machinery standard of corresponding package in order to form elastic element, elastic element can be processed by the elastomeric material that forms film or elasticity lamella.Yet, be used for elastic element material actual type not necessarily, as long as its maintenances needs on long-time section elastic behavior, even its quilt tractive partly or completely on this time period.
In a preferred embodiment, packing can comprise big envelope, is used to wrap up hygienic article. It is the sheetmetal, plastic tab etc. of thin slice that big envelope should be understood to, and can on packing, not apply any structure and support. When hygienic article was assigned to retailer and end user, this big envelope protection hygienic article prevented dust and aqueous vapor, and when hygienic article was stored in end user's position, they were as cover panel.
In case first hygienic article takes out from packing, the ordinary packing of being processed by flexible cover is very easy to topple. Therefore, in case the hygienic article of some takes out from packing, these common packings have very sordid outward appearance. The packing of being processed by big envelope has such advantage on the other hand, and promptly manufacturing cost is cheap, and in light weight.
Packing of the present invention has the stability of common carton package, and after the hygienic article of some takes out from packing, can not topple, but has all advantages of common envolope packaging simultaneously.
The big envelope of packing can be inextensible, particularly inextensible film. This has such advantage, and the power that is promptly applied by elastic element can be directly delivered to hygienic article through big envelope.Particularly preferably be, at least one elastic element and big envelope mutual action, thus extruding is included in the hygienic article in the big envelope.
The situation that the embodiment that exists as little bar from elastic element only is provided with little bar up to big envelope, the face area of big envelope and elastic element can change on wide scope.Special, envelope material can only be positioned on the top and bottom of packing, and other part of packing is covered by elastic element.
In a preferred embodiment, said at least one elastic element is connected to big envelope. In a further advantageous embodiment, said at least one elastic element can be integrated in the big envelope. These embodiment have improved applying of the squeese pressure that acts on the hygienic article, and simultaneously, have reduced packing measurement, and increased manufacturing and allocative efficiency.
In a preferred embodiment, said at least one elastic element is arranged on the elastic material rod on the side surface of packing. In addition, at least two elastic material rods can be arranged on the opposite side surface of packing. These embodiment are used on hygienic article, applying more uniformly extruding, particularly when on said the opposite side surfaces that is arranged on packing. In a preferred embodiment, at least two elastic strips are arranged on the single side surface of packing. This set allows according to the extruding needs in the emptying packaging process of identification in advance elastic strip to be set. When packing has at least two compartments according to another preferred embodiment, become even more important, said compartment all is used to store at least one hygienic article, and at least one elastic element links to each other with each compartment. Here, the squeese pressure that acts on each compartment is independently of one another, thereby, can guarantee optimum extruding.Preferably, compartment can be separated from each other. When compartment interconnects through the perforation connecting portion in the big envelope, can realize this separation. This specific embodiment of the present invention allows each compartment of tearing easily, for example they is distributed to the diverse location in end user's the house, perhaps one of them compartment when the whilst on tour band.
In a further advantageous embodiment, big envelope itself forms elastic element. For this reason, big envelope can be processed by elastomeric material, particularly above-mentioned elastomeric material. This packing of the big envelope of being processed by elastomeric material that comprises allows to push as snug as a bug in a rug and easily the hygienic article in the said packing. In addition, except the big envelope of processing by elastomeric material, do not need other parts.
In a preferred embodiment, elastic element is an elastic webbing, is used for surrounding at least two hygienic articles of said packing. This elastic webbing can have the form of basic ring-type, its around and/or surround whole hygienic articles or the part of hygienic article in the packing. In the later case, for each part, at least one elastic webbing is set.The advantage of this specific elastic webbing is, is not to use big envelope to be used for the power of elastic element is delivered to hygienic article.Elastic webbing itself is delivered to compressible hygienic article with power.
In the various embodiment, in order to pack hygienic article, packing can comprise the cover panel of substantially rigid, is used to cover hygienic article, is particularly processed by paper board material.
Common carton package or other packing with rigid walls is kept perfectly on the side moving at least outside, and can not topple, and hygienic article to the last takes out from packing.Combine with elastic element, said elastic element is the interior hygienic article of bounding box in the above described manner, and is same, and the wicking characteristic that remains on the hygienic article in the cover panel keeps in an advantageous manner.
Packing can comprise disposable diaper/sanitary napkin, particularly disposable baby diaper or disposable incontinence diaper or sanitary napkin. For these article, particularly advantageous is that before it used, constant pressure was applied on each article, thereby kept bulk density and so wicking characteristic.
In order from packing, to take out hygienic article easily, preferably adhesive pad is arranged on the outside of packing, thereby packing is adhered to the surface. When adhesive pad was positioned on the side of the packing opposite with opening, this was particularly advantageous, and said opening is used for taking out hygienic article from packing, particularly on the downside of packing.Because elastic element applies constant compression on hygienic article, therefore be used for taking out the friction increase of hygienic article from packing. Therefore, need higher taking-up power that hygienic article is taken out from packing, this finally causes such situation, and wherein, packing must keep with two hands. On the other hand, when the changing babies' napkin more, particularly the baby preferably vacates a hand and embraces the baby. The adhesive pad that is placed on the downside of packing remains on packing in its position, and prevents its corresponding surface of dropping, perhaps prevent to topple, and therefore its easy to use and safety.

The scheme drawing of Fig. 9 has illustrated the wicking characteristic of the absorbent core with different core bulk density.
The specific embodiment
In the face of in the detailed description of the preferred embodiment of the present invention, corresponding parts or element will be represented with identical Reference numeral in the different accompanying drawings down.
Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 show the packing 1 that is used to distribute and store a plurality of compressible sanitary products of first embodiment.Packing shown in Figure 1 has the shape of basic cuboid, and comprises that big envelope (wrapper) 2, big envelope 2 are wrapped in around the hygienic article (not shown) that contains said packing 1 inside.Packing 1 comprises two elastic elements in addition, and said elastic element is the form of two elastic strips 50,52, and it is connected to the side surface 20,22 of packing 1.
The packing that Fig. 2 shows Fig. 1 is in such situation, and wherein, a plurality of hygienic articles take out from packing 1, and packing 1 is in half occupied state. Elastic strip 50,52 pushes the big envelope 2 of packing 1, thus pack squeese pressure on the hygienic article in 1 keep basically with act on Fig. 1 in squeese pressure on the hygienic article identical. Can know from Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 and to find out that the volumes in the big envelope 2 correspond essentially to remaining hygienic article in the packing 1.
The bulk density of the absorbent core of diapers/napkins utilizes following method to measure: takes out core, and measures the area of said core, afterwards, measure the thickness of core, and these two values, just area and thickness multiply each other each other.Core is weighed then, and first value is divided by by the weight of core.
In exemplary embodiments, the core of diaper has the size of 10 * 10cm, has produced the area of 100cm2, and the thickness of said core is 3mm, has produced the value of 100 * 0.3=30cm3, and the weight of core is 10g.Total bulk density of the product that calculates is 30/10=3cm3/g then.
Acting on squeese pressure on the core will inevitably influence the thickness of core, yet high compression value will produce low bulk density value, and this is because the thickness of core reduces. If bulk density is higher, promptly be lower than 3, the wicking of liquid (wicking) will weaken in the article so.
Among Fig. 9, this discovery of contriver illustrates in the drawings.Three kinds of differing absorption cores that comprise 14 gram slurries and 12 gram super-absorbent polymers (SAP) are processed has 6,8 and the core bulk density of 10cm3/g.Measure the wicking characteristic of core.In order to measure the wicking characteristic, core with respect to the horizontal plane keeps with the angle of inclination of 45o.2 centimetres of the submergences in test fluid flow of the downside of core are dark, and said fluid comprises 0.9% Nacl and colorant.Fluid level keeps, thereby, can guarantee constant submergence. This can realize through following method: in case absorbent core has absorbed a certain amount of test fluid flow, just refill the holder of test fluid flow.As a result, measure the length in wet zone, as the measurement of the wicking characteristic of core.As shown in the figure, for the core of the core bulk density with 6cm3/g, its wicking characteristic is that the core of 10cm3/g is well a lot of than core bulk density.
As everyone knows, if the squeese pressure of core is not kept, the slurry of slurry core and combination---the bulk density of SAP core is along with the time increases so.Absorbent core forms through pad (mat) formation method. This method comprises pulp sheets is chopped into fiber, and then with said fiber laydown on the breathable carrier sheet.Below carrier sheet, one or more suction section are set, thereby help fiber laydown on carrier sheet. This forming process has produced such absorbent core, and it has the above bulk density value of 10cm3/g.Because this manufacturing approach, core has soft structure, and as sponge material, works, if promptly core is extruded and discharges squeese pressure then, core will expand so, thereby and the bulk density value will increase. As a result, when absorbent core was not having to keep the long period under the effect of external compression, the wicking characteristic worsened easily.
The material that can be used for elastic strip 50,52 preferably has at least 100% high elongation rate, and preferably at least 200%, more preferably at least 300%, most preferably more than 400%, particularly at least 500%.This material will provide squeese pressure on the wide fill level scope in packing 1 on the wide volume range and therefore. In other words, this elastomeric material keeps the squeese pressure on the hygienic article in can situation below, i.e. the packing situation of filling up fully and the packing situation of emptying to a great extent.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 and 2, the squeese pressure of elastic strip 50,52 is applied on the hygienic article through big envelope 2.Big envelope itself is not elastomeric, perhaps at least unlike elastic strip 50,52 the same elasticity, and for example can be inextensible. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 and 2, the masterpiece that elastic strip 50,52 applies is used on the side surface 20,22 of big envelope 2, and acts on then on the end face 24,26 of big envelope 2, and it finally applies squeese pressure 50,52 on the hygienic article in packing 1.
Fig. 3 shows second embodiment of packing 1 ', and it has big envelope 2, and big envelope 2 comprises a plurality of compartments 200, and said compartment 200 all is used to hold hygienic article, particularly a certain amount of hygienic article, for example five diapers of each compartment.Compartment 200 in the big envelope 2 is connected to each other through the perforation connecting portion 210 in the big envelope 2, and said connecting portion 210 is used for compartment is torn each other, thereby less packing is provided. Therefore, in the zone of perforation connecting portion 210, end face is arranged in the packing 1, thereby each compartment 200 all is independently (self-contained), because it is centered on by big envelope.
A plurality of elastic strips 56 are arranged on the side surface 220 of compartment 200.Each compartment 200 has its own double-type opposite elastic strip 56.Therefore, the hygienic article in the compartment 200 can be by extruding reliably.
The 3rd embodiment shown in Fig. 4-6 shows such embodiment, wherein, packing 1 " to process by big envelope 2, big envelope 2 itself is an elastomeric material.Big envelope 2 can be processed by any elastomeric material with high-elongation, thereby, packing 1 " in hygienic article on squeese pressure can keep, even as shown in Figure 5, packing 1 " half be drained, perhaps as shown in Figure 6, being drained more than 2/3rds of packing.
Yet for last several hygienic articles, extruding can not keep usually, and this is because the material behavior of the elastic element that uses.In the 3rd embodiment shown in Fig. 4-6, be that the material behavior that the envelope material 2 of elastic element 58 has makes simultaneously: squeese pressure can hold down up to such state at least, and wherein, only 1/3rd hygienic article is retained in the packing.
Fig. 7 shows packing 1 " ' the 4th embodiment, wherein, hygienic article 3 is shown diaper 3 in this embodiment, is packaged in together through elastic webbing 54, elastic webbing 54 is arranged on around all article 3.In this set, can on diaper 3, apply constant squeese pressure.Elastic webbing 54 can be connected to and be wrapped in elastic webbing 54 and packing 1 " ' in hygienic article 3 around big envelope (this is not shown), perhaps can be free of attachment to packing 1 " ' any other part.
Fig. 8 shows among another embodiment and packs 1 " " perspective schematic view, it comprises the opening 4 that is arranged in big envelope 2, the hygienic article that is contained in the big envelope 2 can be from packing 1 through this opening 4 " " taking-up.Nature, this opening also may reside in the above-mentioned packing.
In the packing 1 opposite with a side that is provided with opening 4 " " downside on, binding part 6 is arranged on the outside of big envelope 2, it is used for packing 1 " " bond to a surface. When hygienic article was removed through opening 4, adhesive portion 6 had been guaranteed packing 1 " " be firmly held in suitable position.Nature, adhesive portion can also be used with above-mentioned other packing.
The combination in any of the above-mentioned characteristic of describing with reference to each embodiment can combine by any way, thereby solves the object of the invention.
