Abstract

本发明公开一种锂离子电池电芯的制作方法,涉及锂离子动力电池技术领域。该方法的改进之处是负极片长度大于正极片长度、负极片末端留有跳涂区,将隔膜包裹后的负极片与焊上正极耳的正极片重叠后卷绕成卷芯,再将2~10个卷芯叠放后,正极耳焊在一起,负极片跳涂区共同与镍极耳焊成一体,制成电芯。本发明方法为单层卷绕,多卷芯叠放,多个正极耳并联,单个镍极耳与多片负极片焊接,不仅制作简单,避免多个镍极耳焊接时易产生的虚焊,能减小电池内阻,而且节省贵金属材料,降低生产成本。

锂离子电池电芯的制作方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种用作动力电池的锂离子电池的制作方法,特别是锂离子电池电芯的制作方法。
背景技术
目前制作锂离子电池电芯的方法一种是卷绕式方法,即将单片正极片、负极片用隔膜隔开后重叠卷绕成卷芯,分别在正、负极片上焊接正、负极耳,再根据需要将多个卷芯叠放在一起,并将正、负极耳分别并联;另一种是叠片式方法,即将多片正、负极片和隔膜切成尺寸一致,并在每片正、负极片上分别引出正、负极耳,然后将正、负极片用隔膜隔开后依次叠加整齐,再将正、负极耳分别并联。以上方法中,正极耳与正极片材料相同,且价格普通,制作中不会对电池的内阻和生产成本带来影响,而负极耳一般采用镍极耳,与负极片材料不同,并且金属镍价格较贵,在每片负极上焊接镍极耳,不仅制作麻烦,易产生虚焊,增加电池内阻,而且耗费贵重材料,加大了生产成本。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于克服现有技术中的不足,提供一种制作简单、能减小电池内阻、降低生产成本的锂离子电池电芯的制作方法。
本发明的技术方案是:将正极片、隔膜、负极片依次重叠在一起,并焊上正极耳、负极耳,其特征是按照如下方法操作:
(1)正、负极片下料时,宽度一致,而负极片长度大于正极片长度,负极片涂料时末端留有较大面积的跳涂区;
(2)用隔膜包裹负极片,且负极片跳涂区一端露出,在正极片焊上正极耳;
(3)将焊上正极耳的正极片与用隔膜包裹的负极片重叠在一起,并卷绕成卷芯,使负极片跳涂区露出;
(4)将2~10个卷芯叠放在一起,正极耳对齐焊接在一起,负极片跳涂区共同与采用镍材料的一个负极耳焊成一体。
本发明的制作方法采用单层卷绕,多个卷芯叠放,多个正极耳并联,单个镍极耳与多片负极片焊接,不仅制作简单,避免多个镍极耳焊接时易产生的虚焊,能减小电池内阻,而且节省贵金属材料,降低生产成本。
具体实施方式
下面通过实施例进一步说明本发明。
例一:制作一块10Ah的锂离子电池电芯,方法如下:
1、正、负极片下料,宽度为75mm,而负极片长度比正极片长度多15mm,正、负极片涂料,其中负极片末端留有75×15mm2的跳涂区;
2、用隔膜包裹负极片,且负极片跳涂区露出,在正极片上焊上正极耳;
3、将焊上正极耳的正极片与用隔膜包裹的负极片重叠在一起,并卷绕成长75mm,宽75mm,厚15mm的5Ah卷芯,使负极片跳涂区露出;
4、将2个5Ah卷芯叠放在一起,正极耳对齐焊接在一起,负极片跳涂区共同与一个镍极耳焊成一体,制成75×75×30mm3的10Ah锂离子电池电芯。
例二:制作50Ah的电芯:
1、极片宽150mm,负极片比正极片长15mm,负极片末端跳涂区150×15mm2
2、同例一;
3、卷绕成150×150×8mm3的10Ah卷芯,方法同例一;
4、将5个10Ah卷芯叠放,同例一方法,制作150×150×40mm3的50Ah电芯。
例三:制作100Ah的电芯:
1、极片宽150mm,负极片比正极片长20mm,负极片末端跳涂区150×20mm2
2、同例一;
3、卷绕成300×150×8mm3的20Ah卷芯,方法同例一;
4、将5个20Ah卷芯叠放,同例一方法,制作300×150×40mm3的100Ah电芯。

Claims (1)

1、一种锂离子电池电芯的制作方法,将正极片、隔膜、负极片依次重叠在一起,并焊上正极耳、负极耳,其特征是按照如下方法操作:
(1)正、负极片下料时,宽度一致,而负极片长度大于正极片长度,负极片涂料时末端留有跳涂区;
(2)用隔膜包裹负极片,且负极片跳涂区一端露出,在正极片焊上正极耳;
(3)将焊上正极耳的正极片与用隔膜包裹的负极片重叠在一起,并卷绕成卷芯,使负极片跳涂区露出;
(4)将2~10个卷芯叠放在一起,正极耳对齐焊接在一起,负极片跳涂区共同与采用镍材料的一个负极耳焊成一体。
