Background
WiMAX is a wireless metropolitan area network technology based on the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.16 standard. The WiMAX Network mainly includes a WiMAX terminal, an Access Service Network (ASN) and a Connectivity Service Network (CSN). The wireless side of the WiMAX network is a wireless metropolitan area network access technology based on the IEEE 802.16 standard. The working frequency band of the WiMAX network is 2GHz to 11GHz, and is a mixed frequency band of authorized and unauthorized. When the physical layer of the WiMAX network adopts Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) or an access technology based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDMA), the WiMAX network can effectively combat multipath fading, and the transmission rate can approach 75Mbps under the condition of optimal channel fading.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a conventional WiMAX network structure, and as shown in fig. 1, a terminal user uses a WiMAX terminal to access a WiMAX network. The ASN is a set of Network functions for providing a wireless access service for the WiMAX terminal, and mainly includes a Base Station (BS) and an access service Network Gateway (ASN-GW), and other Network elements. The BS mainly has the functions of providing a two-layer (L2) connection, wireless resource management and the like for the WIMAX terminal and the BS; the main roles of the ASN-GW include a client function providing authentication, authorization, and accounting for WIMAX terminals, a Relay (Relay) function (e.g., IP address assignment) providing three-layer (L3) information for WIMAX terminals, intra-ASN handover, and the like. The ASN mainly has the following functions: ensuring the establishment of the connection of a second layer between the WIMAX terminal and the BS; managing wireless resources; network discovery and selection of an optimal network service provider for the WIMAX terminal; under the proxy mobile IP mode, the proxy server is used for controlling the authentication, authorization and charging information of the WIMAX terminal; and establishing three-layer application connection for the WIMAX terminal to provide relay. The CSN provides IP connection service for the WIMAX terminal, and mainly includes logical entities such as a Prepaid Server (PPS) and an AAA Server (AAA Server). The roles of CSN mainly include: allocating an IP address for the WIMAX terminal; providing Internet access; acting as an AAA Proxy (AAA Proxy) or AAA server (AAAServer); carrying out strategy and access control based on user subscription data of the WIMAX terminal; supporting the establishment of a tunnel between the ASN and the CSN; the method supports the generation of WIMAX terminal call tickets and the settlement of WiMAX services among operators; supporting the establishment of a roaming tunnel between CSNs; supporting mobility between ASNs; and various WiMAX services such as end-to-end service, multimedia broadcast and multicast service and the like are supported. The WIMAX terminal is connected with the ASN through an R1 interface, the WIMAX terminal is connected with the CSN through an R2 interface, the ASN is connected with the CSN through an R3 interface, the ASN is connected with the ASN through an R4 interface, the CSN is connected with the ASN through an R5 interface, and the BS in the ASN is connected with the ASN-GW through an R6 interface.
Wireless location technology began in the 20 th century, the 60 th era, with automatic vehicle location systems, and was subsequently used extensively in the areas of public transportation, taxi dispatching, and police tracking. Later, as the demand for location-based information services has increased, wireless location technology has received increased attention. The appearance of the Global Positioning System (GPS) has enabled the wireless positioning technology to be greatly improved in positioning accuracy, which can reach within 10 m. Although a better positioning effect can be achieved by directly using GPS, for the user, special equipment is required to achieve positioning, which adds extra cost to the user, and GPS equipment is usually expensive, and in addition, because GPS performs positioning through satellite signals, only outdoor positioning can be achieved, and no countermeasure is taken for indoor use. With the popularization of mobile communication technology, wireless positioning technology is beginning to be applied in mobile communication networks, such as handover, service area determination, traffic monitoring, and the like.
Location Based Service (LBS) is a value-added Service in which a mobile communication network acquires geographical Location information of a mobile terminal, such as longitude and latitude coordinates, through a specific Location technology, and provides the geographical Location information to an end user, a communication network or a third party, and the LBS can provide services related to the Location of the end user, such as calling or non-calling, with the support of certain electronic map information. Mobile terminals have become an indispensable communication tool in human life, and the importance of LBS has gradually become prominent. The terminal user can conveniently know the position of the terminal user through the LBS, and can further inquire information of various nearby places such as where the terminal user is, where a nearest hospital is, which banks are nearby, how to reach a destination from the current place, the current position of a friend and the like from a mobile network through the mobile terminal. LBS may also be used for emergency assistance, old people tracking, fleet management, etc. The LBS can provide correct information to the correct person at the correct time and the correct place.
In order to provide various location services according to actual needs, a concept of a classification area is proposed in the LBS. The classification area refers to one or more set area ranges, and the operation related to the classification area is as follows: when the mobile terminal enters or leaves the classification area, the access network element reports the position report to the core network element so as to inform the core network element of the occurrence of the corresponding event, and the core network element performs corresponding actions according to the setting, for example, informs a short message center to send a short message with set content to the mobile terminal. A classification area is configured in an access network element, such as a Radio Network Controller (RNC), and the classification area corresponds to a service area.
At present, no relevant processing aiming at a classification area exists in a WiMAX network with good application prospect, which is not beneficial to the popularization and application of the WiMAX network.

Detailed Description
In the embodiment provided by the invention, the classification areas are set, the classification area identification is distributed to each classification area, and different classification areas can be distinguished through the classification area identification. In addition, an identifier may also be allocated to the non-classified region, and the identifier is used as a specific identifier in the classified region identifiers to identify the corresponding region as the non-classified region, for example, a uniform identifier is used for distinguishing all the non-classified regions from the classified regions.
In the WiMAX network, the processing related to the classification area mainly involves WiMAX terminals and ASN-GW or Paging control function entity (PC), and hereinafter, ASN-GW or PC is referred to as ASN-GW/PC for short. The WiMAX terminal detects the classification area information from the network side, compares the classification area information with the stored classification area information, operates according to the comparison result and further stores the received classification area information. When determining that the classification region information from the network side is different from the stored classification region information, the WiMAX terminal may report a location message, which may be a location update request, a handover request, or the like. The classification region information at least includes a classification region identifier. The classification area identification received by the WiMAX terminal may be from the BS.
After receiving the position information reported by the WiMAX terminal, the ASN-GW/PC carries out corresponding processing according to whether the ASN-GW/PC stores the classified area topology information, if the ASN-GW/PC stores the classified area topology information, the ASN-GW/PC determines whether the WiMAX terminal generates a classified area event at present, such as entering or leaving a certain classified area, according to the classified area topology information and the position related information of the WiMAX terminal, such as the areas before and after moving, and then determines corresponding operation according to the operation principle of the classified area, such as whether the WiMAX terminal needs to be reported to a classified area processing function entity or an application server; if the topology information of the classified area is not stored in the ASN-GW/PC, the related information of the position of the WiMAX terminal, such as the current area or the areas where the WiMAX terminal is located before and after moving, can be directly reported to the processing functional entity of the classified area, the processing functional entity of the classified area determines whether the WiMAX terminal has a classified area event at present, such as entering or leaving a certain classified area, according to the stored topology information of the classified area and the related information of the position of the WiMAX terminal, such as the areas where the WiMAX terminal is located before and after moving, and then determines the corresponding operation according to the operation principle of the classified area, such as whether the operation is. Since the classified area processing functional entity will store the position related information of the WiMAX terminal, such as the area where the WiMAX terminal is located before moving, the ASN-GW/PC only needs to report the position related information of the area where the WiMAX terminal is currently located to the classified area processing functional entity. The classification region operation principle refers to an operation principle set by a network side, such as an application server, a classification region processing function entity, and other network devices, or a WiMAX terminal, and is specific to a classification region, for example, reporting is performed when the WiMAX terminal enters a certain classification region.
The classified region topology information stored in the ASN-GW/PC may be from a classified region partitioning functional entity, for example, the classified region partitioning functional entity provides the classified region topology information to the ASN-GW/PC after completing partitioning the classified region, or may be from a classified region processing functional entity, for example, the classified region processing functional entity provides the classified region topology information from the classified region partitioning functional entity to the ASN-GW. The topology information of the classification region is a division condition of the classification region, which may include a classification region identifier and location information of the classification region. The classified area dividing functional entity and the classified area processing functional entity can be arranged together and can be collectively called as a classified area functional entity; or may be separately provided. An application server refers to a network entity for implementing a particular business application.
In the embodiment provided by the present invention, the classification granularity of the classification region may be a region governed by the BS. When the division granularity of the classification area is the area governed by the BS, the ASN-GW/PC provides the classification area identification of the classification area where the ASN-GW/PC is located for the BS, and thus the BS provides the classification area identification for the WiMAX terminal. After receiving the classification area identification, the WiMAX terminal judges whether the received classification area identification is the same as the classification area identification stored by the WiMAX terminal, if so, the operation is not carried out; if not, reporting the position information and storing the currently received classification area identification. When the classification area is divided by taking the area governed by the BS as the granularity, there may be a case where a Paging Group (PG) coincides with the classification area, that is, a case where one classification area contains one or more PGs. PG refers to a paging area containing one or more BSs. When the classification region includes a PG, the classification region identifier allocated to the classification region may be the same as the PG identifier. When the classification area contains one or more PGs, the ASN-GW/PC does not provide the classification area identifier of the classification area where the ASN-GW/PC is located to the BS, so that the BS does not need to provide the classification area identifier to the WiMAX terminal in a broadcast message, and the ASN-GW/PC can determine whether the change of the classification area is caused by the position update of the terminal or not by combining the change condition of the PG of the terminal with the correlation between the classification area and the PG every time the WiMAX terminal generates the position message and reports the position message to the ASN-GW/PC, thereby carrying out corresponding operation.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the classification area identifier may be in the form of an area number (zone id) or a unit distinguishing value. The area number means that each classification area is assigned with a unique area number, and different classification areas are distinguished by the area numbers. The unit distinguishing value is that the boundary of each classified area is used for dividing the whole area to be classified, one unit distinguishing value is distributed to the minimum unit divided by the boundary of each classified area, the unit distinguishing values of adjacent units are different in pairs, and therefore, the adjacent classified areas in pairs can be completely distinguished by only 4 unit distinguishing values. When the classification area identification adopts the unit distinguishing value, if the classification area needs to be added or deleted, the unit distinguishing value of the classification area needs to be redistributed.
Because the WiMAX terminal does not need to update the position when moving among the BSs in one PG, and the WiMAX terminal can report the position update report only when the WiMAX terminal moves from one PG to another PG, when the classification area comprises one or more PGs, the ASN-GW/PC receives the position update report reported by the WiMAX terminal and indicates that the WiMAX terminal moves from one PG to another PG, thus, if the topology information of the classification area is stored in the ASN-GW/PC, whether the WiMAX terminal enters or leaves a certain classification area can be directly determined according to the topology information of the classification area and the position related information of the WiMAX terminal, such as the areas before and after moving, and then the corresponding operation is determined according to the operation principle of the classification area, such as whether the WiMAX terminal needs to be reported to a classification area processing function entity or an application server; if the topology information of the classified area is not stored in the ASN-GW/PC, the topology information is directly reported to the classified area processing functional entity, the classified area processing functional entity determines whether the WiMAX terminal enters or leaves a certain classified area according to the stored topology information of the classified area and the position related information of the WiMAX terminal, such as the areas before and after moving, and then determines corresponding operation according to the operation principle of the classified area, if so, the operation is required to be reported to an application server.
When the classification granularity of the classification region is a region governed by the BS, the BS needs to provide a classification region identifier to the WiMAX terminal, so that a Downlink resource indication message (Downlink _ MAP, DL _ MAP) or a Downlink Channel Descriptor (DCD) message can be extended, so that the DL _ MAP message or the DCD message can carry the classification region identifier. When the WiMAX terminal determines that the received classification area identifier is different from the stored classification area identifier, it will report the location message, so that the ASN-GW/PC can effectively distinguish the location message reported according to the existing flow from the location message triggered by the change of the classification area, and can expand the location message, for example, expand the ranging request (RNG-REQ), so that the location message can carry the classification area indication, indicating that the location message reported by the WiMAX terminal this time is triggered by the change of the classification area. The indication of the classification region may be a parameter value predetermined by the WiMAX terminal on the network side for a location update event of the classification region, a classification region identifier currently received by the WiMAX terminal, a classification region identifier currently stored by the WiMAX terminal, a classification region identifier currently received by the WiMAX terminal, and a stored classification region identifier.
In addition, in order to avoid unnecessary location message reporting by the WiMAX terminal when a classification area is added or deleted, and further cause the ASN-GW/PC to perform unnecessary processing, the BS may provide an operation instruction to the WiMAX terminal while providing a classification area identifier to the WiMAX terminal, where the operation instruction may be an addition instruction or a deletion instruction. When the classified area is added or deleted, the ASN-GW/PC informs the BS of the corresponding information, and the BS provides the WiMAX terminal with the corresponding operation instruction and the classified area identification according to the received information. The WiMAX terminal determines that the current classification area identification change is not caused by the change of the classification area of the terminal according to the received operation instruction, and can operate the corresponding classification area identification without reporting the position information. For example, the WiMAX terminal determines, according to the received increase instruction, that a part of or all of the received identifiers of the classification areas are newly added identifiers of the classification areas, and does not report a location message and store the newly added identifiers of the classification areas, other than the change caused by the terminal moving to other classification areas; for another example, the WiMAX terminal determines that a part of or all of the received classification area identifiers are identifiers of deleted classification areas according to the received deletion instruction, and the reduction of the subsequent classification area identifiers is not a change caused by the terminal leaving the classification area, and the terminal may delete the classification area identifier from the storage without reporting the location message. On the basis of deleting the indication and the classification area identifier, a newly added classification area identifier can be further added to inform the WiMAX terminal to delete one classification area and simultaneously add a new classification area. And after receiving the deletion instruction and the deleted and newly added classified area identifications, the WiMAX terminal deletes the corresponding classified area identifications according to the deletion instruction and stores the newly added classified area identifications.
The network side entities such as the classified area processing functional entity may further issue an action instruction to the WiMAX terminal through the ASN-GW/PC and the BS, for example, the classified area processing functional entity notifies the WiMAX terminal through the ASN-GW/PC and the BS of an action to be taken when entering or leaving a certain classified area, or an action to be taken when residing in a certain classified area, such as periodic reporting, the WiMAX terminal determines whether the classified area changes, and takes different actions for different situations according to the received action instruction. The classified area processing functional entity can determine corresponding processing according to the received information reported by the WiMAX terminal, such as issuing a notification message to the WiMAX terminal, and recording.
The implementation of the embodiments of the present invention is described in more detail below by way of a specific scenario.
And (3) dividing each classification area aiming at a large area, and performing classification area division by using a unified functional entity, wherein if the classification area divides the functional entity and the division granularity of the classification area is the area governed by the BS, the functional entity needs to know the distribution condition of each BS and the setting of the ASN-GW/PC in the large area. The related processing for each classified area in the large area also needs to be performed by a unified functional entity, such as a classified area processing functional entity. The division of the classification region and the related processing of the classification region may be combined together or may be individually set. If the classification of the classification region and the related processing of the classification region are separately set, the classification region division functional entity needs to provide the division condition of the classification region, i.e. the topology information of the classification region, to the classification region processing functional entity and/or the ASN-GW/PC. Each scene will be described below by taking only an example in which the classification of the classification region and the correlation processing of the classification region are collectively performed in the classification region server (CZserver).
In embodiment 1, the classification region server divides a classification region based on a BS administration region, where the divided classification region includes one or more PGs, and as shown in fig. 2, allocates a classification region identifier to each classification region, where the classification region identifier may be in a region number form or a unit discrimination value form, and the classification region identifier may also be the same as the PG identifier, and then provides classification region topology information to an ASN-GW/PC divided into the classification region, and the ASN-GW/PC stores the received classification region topology information. After updating the classification of the classification region, the classification region server adds the classification region, deletes the classification region, or deletes the classification region and adds the classification region at the same time, and provides updated classification region topology information to the ASN-GW/PC involved in the classification region division operation. The ASN-GW/PC may be preconfigured with the address of the classification area server, or may store the address of the classification area server upon receiving the classification area topology information provided by the classification area server. When a WiMAX terminal moves from one PG to another PG, reporting a position report to an ASN-GW/PC, after the ASN-GW/PC receives the position report, determining whether the WiMAX terminal enters or leaves a certain classification area according to stored classification area topology information and areas where the WiMAX terminal moves before and after, and then determining whether the WiMAX terminal needs to be reported to a classification area server or an application server according to a classification area operation principle. After the classified area server updates the classified area division, if the ASN-GW/PC originally classified into the classified area is not classified into the classified area any more, the corresponding ASN-GW/PC is informed to delete the classified area topology information, in the subsequent processing, the corresponding ASN-GW/PC receives the position report of the WiMAX terminal and then processes according to the existing flow, and whether the WiMAX terminal enters or leaves a certain classified area is not determined any more.
In embodiment 2, the classification region server divides the classification region based on the BS administration region, where the divided classification region includes one or more PGs, as shown in fig. 2, allocates a classification region identifier to each classification region, and then notifies the ASN-GW/PC located in the classification region that it has been classified into one or more classification regions. The ASN-GW/PC may be preconfigured with the address of the classification area server, or may store the address of the classification area server upon receiving a notification sent by the classification area server. When the WiMAX terminal moves from one PG to another PG, reporting a position report to an ASN-GW/PC, and after receiving the position report, reporting the information of the current classification area of the WiMAX terminal to a classification area server by the ASN-GW/PC which is classified into the classification area; the classified area server determines whether the WiMAX terminal enters or leaves a certain classified area according to the classified area topology information, the area where the WiMAX terminal is located before moving and the area where the WiMAX terminal is located after moving, and then determines whether the WiMAX terminal needs to be reported to the application server according to the classified area operation principle. Since the information of the area where the WiMAX terminal is located before moving is stored in the classified area server, the ASN-GW/PC only needs to report the information of the classified area where the WiMAX terminal is currently located to the classified area server. The classified area server can update the classification of the classified area, and after updating, if the ASN-GW/PC originally classified into the classified area is not classified into the classified area any more, the corresponding ASN-GW/PC is informed that the ASN-GW/PC is not classified into the classified area any more, and in the subsequent processing, the corresponding ASN-GW/PC does not report the current classified area of the WiMAX terminal to the classified area server after receiving the position report of the WiMAX terminal.
Embodiment 3, after the classification region is divided by the classification region server based on the BS administration region, the classification region topology information is provided to the ASN-GW/PC divided into the classification region, or the ASN-GW/PC located in the classification region is notified that it has been divided into one or more classification regions, then the ASN-GW/PC instructs each BS to broadcast a Paging (Paging) request, the WiMAX terminal is fully woken up, the WiMAX terminal performs location update, and the ASN-GW/PC or the classification region server determines whether the WiMAX terminal enters or leaves a certain classification region according to the location change information of the WiMAX terminal.
Embodiment 4 and fig. 3 are a first flowchart of a process for dividing and classifying a region based on a BS jurisdiction in the embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 3, in this embodiment, a specific process for dividing and classifying a region based on a BS jurisdiction includes the following steps:
step 301: the classification area server divides classification areas based on the BS administration area, and distributes classification area identification for each classification area, wherein the classification area identification can be in the form of an area number or a unit distinguishing value. As shown in fig. 4, since the division ranges of different classification areas are not defined, one BS-administered area may belong to a plurality of classification areas. When a unit distinguishing value is used as a classification area identifier, a minimum area separated by the boundary of the classification area when the classification area is divided is a unit formed by one or more BS jurisdiction areas, each classification area is formed by the units, and then a classification area server assigns values to the units by using the values with the length of two bits, such as 00, 01, 10 and 11, wherein the values of every two adjacent units are required to be different, and the values are the unit distinguishing values.
Step 302: the classification area server provides the correspondence between the BS and the classification area identification to the ASN-GW/PC to which the BS located in the classification area belongs.
Step 303: after receiving the corresponding relation between the BS and the classification area identification, the ASN-GW/PC provides the corresponding classification area identification for the BS corresponding to the corresponding classification area identification.
Step 304: the BS carries the classification area identification of the classification area in which the BS administration area is located in the DL _ MAP message or the DCD message broadcasted to the WiMAX.
Step 305: when the WiMAX terminal receives the classification zone identifier for the first time, it stores the received classification zone identifier, and then directly executes step 306, so that the ASN-GW/PC or the classification zone server determines whether the WiMAX terminal has a classification zone event at present, such as entering a classification zone; and when the classification area identifier is received again subsequently, judging whether the received classification area identifier is the same as the stored classification area identifier, if so, not operating, and if not, executing the step 306.
Step 306: a WiMAX terminal sends a position updating message to an ASN-GW/PC through a BS, the position updating message can further carry a classification region indication, the classification region indication can be a parameter value predetermined by a network side and the WiMAX terminal for a classification region position updating event, a classification region identifier currently received by the WiMAX terminal, a classification region identifier currently stored by the WiMAX terminal, a classification region identifier currently received by the WiMAX terminal and a stored classification region identifier, and the classification region indication is used for informing that the ASN-GW/PC current position updating is triggered by the change of the classification region of the WiMAX terminal; the location update message may also be the same as an existing location update message. And finally, the WiMAX terminal stores the received classification area identification.
Step 307: after ASN-GW/PC receives the location updating message, if the location updating message triggered by the change of the classification area is required to carry the classification area indication, and when the ASN-GW/PC determines that the location updating message carries the classification area indication, reporting the area location related information of the WiMAX terminal before or after the movement to a classification area server; when the ASN-GW/PC determines that the position updating message does not carry the indication of the classified area, processing according to the existing flow; if the location update message is not extended, that is, the location update message triggered by the change of the classification area is the same as the existing location update message, that is, the location update message triggered by the change of the classification area does not carry the classification area indication, the ASN-GW/PC reports the information related to the area location of the WiMAX terminal currently or before and after the movement to the classification area server as long as receiving the location update message. The ASN-GW/PC may be preconfigured with the address of the classification area server, or may store the address of the classification area server upon receiving the correspondence between the BS and the classification area identifier provided by the classification area server.
Step 308: after receiving the information related to the positions of the areas where the WiMAX terminal is located before and after moving, the classification area server determines whether the WiMAX terminal enters or leaves a certain classification area according to the stored topology information of the classification area, the area where the WiMAX terminal is located before moving and the area where the WiMAX terminal is located after moving, and then determines whether the WiMAX terminal needs to be reported to the application server according to the operation principle of the classification area.
Embodiment 5 and fig. 5 are a second flowchart of a process for dividing and classifying a region based on the jurisdiction of the BS in the embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 5, in this embodiment, a specific process for dividing and classifying a region based on the jurisdiction of the BS includes the following steps:
step 501 is the same as step 301.
Step 502: the classified area server provides classified area topology information to the ASN-GW/PC to which the BS located in the classified area belongs, and the classified area topology information can reflect the division condition of the classified area, so that the classified area topology information comprises the corresponding relation between the BS and the classified area identification.
Step 503 to step 504: after receiving the classified area topology information, the ASN-GW/PC stores the classified area topology information and provides corresponding classified area identification for the BS corresponding to the corresponding classified area identification.
Steps 505 to 507 are the same as steps 304 to 306.
Step 508: if the location update message carries the indication of the classification area, the ASN-GW/PC can directly report the information related to the operation of the classification area of the WiMAX terminal to the classification area server or the application server. If the position updating message does not carry the indication of the classification area, the ASN-GW/PC determines the areas of the WiMAX terminal before and after the movement, determines whether the WiMAX terminal enters or leaves a certain classification area according to the stored topology information of the classification area, the area of the WiMAX terminal before the movement and the area of the WiMAX terminal after the movement, and then determines whether the WiMAX terminal needs to be reported to a classification area server or an application server according to the operation principle of the classification area.
Embodiment 6, the classified area server updates the classification of the classified area, and sends BS identifier, operation instruction and classified area identifier to ASN-GW/PC; ASN-GW/PC receives BS mark, operation instruction and classification area mark, and then sends operation instruction and classification area mark to corresponding BS; and the BS provides the operation instruction and the classification area identification for the WiMAX terminal after receiving the operation instruction and the classification area identification, at the moment, even if the WiMAX terminal determines that the received classification area identification is different from the stored classification area identification, the position is not updated, the BS considers that the classification area is not changed at present, and operates the corresponding classification area identification. For example, the information form sequentially sent to the WiMAX terminal by the classification area server is [ classification area identifier 1, deletion instruction, classification area identifier 2], the WiMAX terminal determines that the classification area 1 needs to be deleted at present according to the set format and the received information form, and newly adds the classification area 2, the WiMAX terminal does not perform location update, deletes the classification area identifier 1 from the storage, and stores the classification area identifier 2, and the set format may be from BS, ASN-GW/PC, and the like. After the classified area server updates the classification of the classified area, if the ASN-GW/PC originally classified into the classified area is not classified into the classified area, the corresponding ASN-GW/PC is informed that the ASN-GW/PC is not classified into the classified area, and in the subsequent processing, the corresponding ASN-GW/PC does not report the area of the WiMAX terminal before and after the WiMAX terminal moves to the classified area server after receiving the position updating message of the WiMAX terminal.
Embodiment 7, when a WiMAX terminal performs handover, it sends a handover request to a target ASN-GW; if the terminal context information obtained by the target ASN-GW does not carry the classification area identification of the classification area where the original service BS is administered, if the ASN-GW stores the topology information of the classification area, determining whether the WiMAX terminal has a classification area event at present, such as entering or leaving a certain classification area, according to the areas administered by the original service BS and the target BS and the stored topology information of the classification area, and then determining corresponding operation according to the operation principle of the classification area, such as whether the WiMAX terminal needs to be reported to a classification area server or an application server; if the ASN-GW does not store the topology information of the classification area, reporting the information of an original service BS and a target BS of the WiMAX terminal or the information of the target BS to a classification area server, determining whether the WiMAX terminal has a classification area event at present according to the administration area of the original service BS and the target BS and the topology information of the classification area by the classification area server, such as entering or leaving a certain classification area, and then determining corresponding operation according to the operation principle of the classification area, such as whether the operation is required to be reported to an application server. If the original BS and the target BS are located in the same classification area, the ASN-GW/PC processes according to the existing flow.
The terminal context information obtained by the target ASN-GW can further carry the classification area identification of the classification area where the original service BS administration area is located; the target ASN-GW determines whether the original service BS and the target BS of the WiMAX terminal are located in the same classification area directly according to whether the classification area identification of the original service BS and the classification area identification of the current target BS are the same, and if the original service BS and the target BS are located in different classification areas, the ASN-GW determines whether to report to a classification area server or an application server according to a classification area operation principle; if the original service BS and the target BS are located in the same classification area, the ASN-GW/PC processes according to the existing flow.
The terminal context information can be actively provided to the target ASN-GW by the original ASN-GW, and can also be passively provided to the target ASN-GW by the original ASN-GW according to the request of the target ASN-GW.

In addition, if the location message reported by the WiMAX terminal carries the classification area identifier stored by the WiMAX terminal, the ASN-GW/PC or the classification area server may determine the corresponding operation directly according to the classification area identifier stored by the terminal, the identifier of the classification area to which the BS administration area where the terminal is currently located belongs, and the classification area operation principle, if yes, the corresponding operation needs to be reported to the classification area processing function entity or the application server.
