Description

Method, system and sending terminal for paging user
Technical Field
The present invention relates to paging technologies, and in particular, to a method, a system, and a transmitting end for paging a user.
Background
The third generation global standardization for mobile communications (3GPP) Long Term Evolution (LTE) is a further evolution of the 3GPP R6(Release 6) Release, an important part of the 3GPP LTE project including: reducing time delay, improving user data rate, better supporting packet service, improving system capacity and coverage, reducing operation overhead and reducing system complexity. The working objective of LTE is to define an Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio access network (E-UTRAN), which includes: the structure of the E-UTRAN, the air interface between the E-UTRAN and the user receiver (UE), and the interface between the E-UTRAN and the core network. Currently, the E-UTRAN has been basically determined to be mainly composed of a plurality of evolved universal terrestrial access network base stations (enbs, E-UTRAN Node bs), and the air interface downlink determination thereof uses an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology.
A Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service (MBMS) dedicated carrier is a Multimedia Broadcast Multicast function defined in 3GPP R6. In the LTE research project, it has been clear to support enhanced MBMS (E-MBMS) which is capable of supporting higher rate multimedia data transmission and providing better quality of service. Moreover, the LTE system also supports the transmission of MBMS services in a Single Frequency Network (SFN), i.e. the adjacent enbs are required to synchronously transmit the same OFDM symbols on the same spectrum resource. In order to ensure that a plurality of enbs can synchronously transmit the same MBMS data, an MBMS coordination function entity is further required in the E-UTRAN for uniformly scheduling MBMS data transmission among the plurality of enbs, a uniform coding modulation method and a segment reassembly method.
In the 3GPP R6 system, in order to support MBMS, new logical channels and physical channels are introduced, wherein the logical channels include: MBMS Control Channel (MCCH), MBMS Traffic Channel (MTCH), and MBMS Scheduling Channel (MSCH); the new physical channels include: MBMS Indication Channel (MICH).
The MCCH transmits control signaling related to the MBMS and is mainly used for notifying radio bearer information used by a specific MBMS of UE;
MSCH transmits MBMS service scheduling signaling, which is mainly used for informing UE that the specific MBMS service is transmitted in which transmission time intervals;
the MICH transmits MBMS indication information, which is mainly used to notify the UE that MBMS control information corresponding to a specific MBMS service has changed. Because each specific time slot on the MICH channel only transmits a group of indication information related to the specific MBMS, the UE only needs to select the specific time slot to monitor the MICH channel according to the service group to which the MBMS interested by the UE belongs, and only monitors the MCCH when the MICH channel indicates that the related control signaling of the MBMS is changed, thereby greatly saving the power consumption of the UE.
In the LTE system, the concepts of MCCH and MTCH are continuously used, but the MICH does not necessarily exist continuously, because the MCCH channel can be transmitted in a time burst manner, and even if there is no MICH, the UE only needs to receive the MCCH in a short time, which can also save the power consumption of the UE; and the functionality of the MSCH may also be incorporated into the MCCH.
The MBMS service is a multimedia broadcast/multicast service provided in a mobile communication network, and when a system configures more MBMS services, it inevitably occupies more downlink physical resources, affecting the common downlink service capacity of the system. In order to avoid reducing system capacity by transmitting more MBMS services, it is necessary to increase system spectrum resources, in which case, usually, the additional system spectrum resources are configured to be MBMS dedicated carrier frequencies, and the additionally configured dedicated carrier frequencies are not used for transmitting non-MBMS services. In 3GPP R6, the frequency spectrum bandwidth supported by the system is fixed 5MHz, and the MBMS dedicated carrier and the common carrier in the same area are two completely independent sections of frequency spectrum resources, which mutually constitute adjacent different-frequency cells. In LTE, the system can support spectrum bandwidths from 1.25MHz to 20MHz, and the MBMS dedicated carrier frequency may be a different frequency cell adjacent to the common carrier frequency in the same area as in 3GPP R6, or may form a continuous band with a higher bandwidth together with the common carrier frequency in the same area, and thus is a different frequency resource in the downlink band of the same cell.
In the 3GPP R6 system, a common receiving end can only work at one frequency point at one time point, so that when the receiving end receives the MBMS service at the MBMS dedicated carrier, it cannot receive the information of the non-MBMS carrier at the same time. In the LTE system, all the receiving terminals are not required to be able to support the maximum spectrum bandwidth configurable by the system, and the working bandwidth supported by some receiving terminals with lower capability is certainly not greater than the bandwidth of the MBMS dedicated carrier frequency.
If the MBMS dedicated carrier cannot inform the user of the arrival of other non-MBMS services, the lower-capability receiving end must periodically switch to the common carrier to listen whether there is a paging message indicating the arrival of other non-MBMS services. Thus, a receiver with lower capability may need to stop the MBMS service being received, and thus cannot continuously receive the program, which affects user experience. In order to ensure that a receiving end with lower capability does not miss common mobile communication services when using the MBMS service and can continuously use the MBMS service without other services coming, it is preferable that paging user information is carried on an MBMS dedicated carrier.
And configuring the same channel structure for transmitting the paging message in the MBMS special carrier frequency as the common carrier frequency, and simultaneously sending the paging message in the common carrier frequency and the MBMS special carrier frequency by the eNB when the eNB needs to page the UE. The specific paging channel carrying the paging message and the related paging indicator channel are multiplexed with the related channels of the MBMS service, such as the multiplexing of the Paging Control Channel (PCCH) with the MTCH, MCCH, etc. channels, and the multiplexing of the Paging Indicator Channel (PICH), MICH channels. The receiver monitors the paging channel, and after receiving the paging message, switches to the common carrier frequency to respond to the paging message, and performs the paging processing process.
As can be seen from the above description, the existing method for transmitting paging messages through MBMS dedicated carrier needs to carefully consider the multiplexing problem between the paging channel and the channels such as MCCH, MTCH, etc., and the UE needs to monitor paging and receive MBMS services, which makes scheduling and control more complicated.
In addition, since a cell to which an idle-state UE belongs is not known at the time of paging, it is necessary to simultaneously transmit the same paging message in a plurality of cells, and thus such paging message is suitably transmitted in the SFN mode. However, in the prior art, each cell has a separate paging channel, and the receiving end in the cell receives the paging message of each serving cell, but the existing paging channel does not consider the support of the SFN, so that the advantage of the SFN cannot be fully utilized.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention is further described in detail below with reference to the following embodiments and the accompanying drawings.
The method, the system and the sending terminal for paging the user send the paging message to the receiving terminal on the MBMS logical channel through the special carrier frequency, and the receiving terminal receives the paging message on the MBMS logical channel.
A scheme of transmitting a paging message as a special MBMS service and a scheme of transmitting a paging message as special MBMS control signaling will be described in detail, respectively.
The first embodiment is as follows: the paging message is used as a scheme for special MBMS service transmission.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a process of sending a paging message as a special MBMS service according to the present invention, where the process includes the following steps:
step 101, a sending end configures a special MBMS service identifier for a target user.
The specific implementation process may be as follows: the method comprises the steps that a sending end divides a target user to be paged into a plurality of target user groups according to user identification, paging information aiming at the user in each target user group is set as a paging information group, one paging information group is used as a special MBMS service, a special MBMS service identification is assigned to each special MBMS service, and the special MBMS service identification is configured for each target user.
Here, all target subscribers can be grouped in a target subscriber group, so that all paging messages will be transmitted as a special MBMS service.
The method for configuring the special MBMS service identifier for each target user may be: and determining the group number of the target user by the user identifier, and constructing a special MBMS service identifier configured for the target user by using the group number of the target user.
A preferred embodiment of the above configuration method is: the remainder obtained by dividing the user identification by the number of the target user group is used as the target user group number, and a specific MBMS service identification prefix is added in front of the target user group number to form a special MBMS service identification configured by the target user.
Here, the specific MBMS service identifier prefix is a special prefix preset for the MBMS service, and may be represented by a random symbol.
Step 102, the sending end configures the wireless link bearing information and establishes the wireless link.
The transmitting end transmits the special MBMS service carrying the paging message on the radio link corresponding to the MTCH.
Step 103, when a specific target user needs to be paged, the sending end adds the paging message identifier of the paged target user to the specific paging content to form paging message data, then encapsulates the paging message, and sends the encapsulated paging message as a special MBMS service to the receiving end through the MTCH channel.
Here, the paging message identification of the target user includes: user identification of target user and special MBMS service identification configured for target user.
The method for encapsulating the paging message by the sending end comprises the following processes:
a1, adding a Radio Link Control (RLC) layer packet header before paging message data by the RLC protocol, adding a check sequence and a filling bit after the paging message data to form an RLC protocol data packet, and sending the RLC protocol data packet to a Medium Access Control (MAC) layer;
a2, adding MAC layer packet head before the RLC protocol data packet is received by the MAC layer protocol, and adding check sequence and filling bit after the RLC protocol data packet to form the MAC protocol data packet.
Here, the procedure of establishing the radio link in step 102 may be set after the paging message is encapsulated in step 103, and may be established before the encapsulated paging message is sent.
An eNB or an RNC of a sending end schedules all special MBMS services used for transmitting paging messages as services which provide services all the time at MBMS special carrier frequencies, transmits control signaling of the special MBMS services at an MCCH channel, and transmits scheduling information of the special MBMS services at the MCCH channel or the MSCH channel.
If the system also supports the MICH channel, the indication can be made on the MICH channel when the control signaling for the specific MBMS service changes.
In addition, the special MBMS can be used as a single frequency network MBMS service for scheduling, the advantage of SFN is fully utilized, and a receiving mode of combining in MBMS multi-cells is adopted.
From the perspective of the receiving end, the special MBMS service receiving process is shown in fig. 2, and the process includes the following steps:
step 201, the receiving end obtains the special MBMS service identifier corresponding to itself.
The specific implementation process may be as follows: each receiving terminal determines the corresponding special MBMS service identification, or the sending terminal informs the receiving terminal of the corresponding special MBMS service identification in a broadcasting mode.
The method for the receiving end to determine the special MBMS service identification corresponding to the receiving end can be that the preset special MBMS service identification is directly stored;
it can also be: and calculating the group number of the affiliated target user according to the user identification, and constructing a special MBMS service identification by using the group number of the target user. A particular example of such a configuration method is: the remainder obtained by dividing the target user identification by the target user group number is used as the target user group number, and then a specific MBMS service identification prefix is added in front of the target user group number.
Here, the special MBMS service identifier of the receiving end, whichever is determined by any method, is consistent with or in a certain specific correspondence with the special MBMS service identifier determined by the transmitting end. For example, if the receiving end and the transmitting end determine the special MBMS service identifier through a certain algorithm, it is necessary to ensure that the receiving end and the transmitting end use the same algorithm to determine the special MBMS service identifier.
Step 202, the receiving end receives the MBMS service on the MTCH channel, and when the receiving end receives a special MBMS service carrying paging messages, the receiving end can unpack and acquire the paging messages therein.
After receiving the special MBMS service, the receiving end unpacks and acquires the paging message, which comprises the following processes: after receiving paging data in a special MBMS service of a physical layer, a receiving end distributes the data to an MAC layer for processing, after the MAC layer obtains MAC packet header information, the data after the MAC packet header information is distributed to an RLC layer for processing, and after the RLC layer obtains the RLC packet header information, the RLC layer obtains the paging message content after unpacking.
In step 203, the receiving end determines whether the acquired paging message is a paging message for itself, and executes step 204 when determining that the paging message is a paging message for itself.
Here, the receiving end determines whether the acquired paging message is a paging message for itself, and may perform the following two steps:
a1, the receiving end firstly compares the corresponding special MBMS service identification with the special MBMS service identification carried in the received paging message, if so, the receiving end can confirm that the paging message is the paging message aiming at the target user group to which the receiving end belongs.
a2, then, the receiving end compares whether the user mark carried in the paging message matches with the user mark of itself, if so, the receiving end confirms that the paging message is the paging message for itself.
If all target users belong to a target user group, the matching in step a1 is satisfied, and the receiving end only needs to compare whether the user identifier carried in the paging message matches with the user identifier of the receiving end, and can determine whether the received paging message is a paging message for the receiving end.
In step 204, the receiving end determines whether to respond to the paging message according to the actual situation, and executes step 205 when determining the response.
Here, the actual condition means that the receiving end determines whether the MBMS service is currently important or the paging message is important, and determines to respond to the paging message when determining that the paging message is important.
Step 205, the receiving end switches to the common carrier frequency to perform the paging response and paging processing process.
The embodiments shown in fig. 1 and fig. 2 show an implementation manner of sending a paging message to a receiving end as a special MBMS service. In the actual service transmission process, the paging message identifier in step 103 may also include only the user identifier of the target user.
If the paging message identification only includes the user identification of the target user, before transmitting the paging message to the receiving end through the MTCH channel, further comprising: and carrying the special MBMS service identification of the target user in the control signaling, and sending the special MBMS service identification to a receiving end through an MCCH channel.
The receiving end receiving MBMS service at MBMS special carrier frequency can continuously monitor MCCH channel, when the receiving end receives control signaling on MCCH, it can judge MBMS service identification contained in the control signaling, when it is determined that the corresponding special MBMS service identification matches with the MBMS service identification carried in the control signaling, it processes the control signaling, and judges if it needs to read paging message belonging to the MBMS service on MTCH channel.
Here, the carrying of the special MBMS service identifier of the target user in the control signaling may be implemented as follows: the special MBMS service identification of the target user is added into an MBMS Transmission identification (MBMS Transmission identity) field of an MBMS Modified services Information (MBMS Modified services Information) message in the control signaling. Meanwhile, before the sending end sends the control signaling to the receiving end through the MCCH channel, the receiving end behavior field in the MBMS modification service information message needs to be set as: the receiving end is required to read the PTM radio bearer information.
Thus, when the receiving end judges that the special MBMS service identification carried by the MBMS transmission identification field is matched with the own special MBMS service identification, the receiving end reads the radio bearing information carrying the special MBMS service according to the receiving end behavior field carried in the control signaling, and then receives the special MBMS service carrying the paging message on the MTCH channel according to the read radio bearing information.
Example two: a scheme for transmitting a paging message as special MBMS control signaling.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of a process of sending a paging message as a special MBMS control signaling according to the present invention, where the process includes the following steps:
step 301, a transmitting end configures a virtual MBMS service identifier for a target user.
The specific implementation process is as follows: the method comprises the steps that a sending end divides a target user to be paged into a plurality of target user groups according to user identification, paging information aiming at the user in each target user group is set to be a paging information group, the paging information group is used as a control signaling of a virtual MBMS service to be transmitted, the virtual MBMS service identification is assigned to each virtual MBMS service, and the virtual MBMS service identification is configured for each target user.
The method for configuring the virtual MBMS service identifier for each target user may be: and determining the group number of the target user by the user identifier, and constructing a virtual MBMS service identifier configured for the target user by using the group number of the target user.
A preferred embodiment of the above configuration method is: and taking the remainder obtained by dividing the user identification by the number of the target user group as a target user group number, and then adding a virtual MBMS service identification prefix in front of the target user group number to form a virtual MBMS service identification configured by the target user.
Step 302, when a specific target user needs to be paged, the sending end combines the user identifier of the paged target user and the corresponding virtual MBMS service identifier with specific paging content to form paging message data, then encapsulates the paging message, and transmits the encapsulated paging message as a special MBMS control signaling.
Here, the procedure of encapsulating the paging message by the transmitting end is exactly the same as described in step 102.
Step 303, the sending end sends the special MBMS control signaling carrying the paging message to the UE through the MCCH channel.
Here, the special MBMS control signaling only carries paging messages, and does not include any scheduling information and radio bearer information.
If the system also supports the MICH channel, a change of control signaling corresponding to the virtual MBMS service identity may be indicated on the MICH channel.
From the receiving end, the special MBMS control signaling receiving process is shown in fig. 4, and the process includes the following steps:
step 401, the receiving end obtains a virtual MBMS service identifier corresponding to itself.
The specific implementation process is as follows: each receiving terminal determines the corresponding virtual MBMS service identification, or the transmitting terminal informs the receiving terminal of the corresponding virtual MBMS service identification.
The method for the receiving end to determine the corresponding virtual MBMS service identification can be that the preset virtual MBMS service identification is directly stored;
it can also be: and calculating the group number of the affiliated target user according to the user identification, and constructing the virtual MBMS identification by using the group number of the target user. A preferred embodiment of this configuration is: the remainder obtained by dividing the target user identification by the target user group number is used as the target user group number, and then a specific MBMS service identification prefix is added in front of the target user group number.
Step 402, the receiving end receives the MBMS control signaling of the MBMS service in the MCCH channel, and when the receiving end receives the special MBMS control signaling carrying the paging message, the receiving end can unpack and acquire the paging message therein.
Since the virtual MBMS service does not have specific service data, the receiving end does not need to establish a radio bearer for the virtual MBMS service.
Here, the process of unpacking to acquire the paging message at the receiving end includes the following steps: after receiving the paging message in the physical layer special MBMS control signaling, the receiving end distributes the paging message to the MAC layer for processing, after the MAC layer obtains the MAC packet header information, the MAC layer distributes the data after the MAC packet header to the RLC layer for processing, and after the RLC layer obtains the RLC packet header information, the RLC layer obtains the paging message content after unpacking.
In step 403, the receiving end determines whether the acquired paging message is a paging message for itself, and executes step 404 when determining that the paging message is a paging message for itself.
Here, the receiving end determines whether the acquired paging message is a paging message for itself or not, and may also perform the steps, which are basically consistent with the processes a1 and a2 described in step 203, and only needs to replace the special MBMS service in a1 with the special MBMS control signaling.
In step 404, the receiving end determines whether to respond to the paging message according to the actual situation, and executes step 405 when determining the response.
Step 405, the receiving end switches to the common carrier frequency to perform the paging response and paging processing process.
The virtual MBMS service identifier illustrated in fig. 3 and 4 is not substantially different from the special MBMS service identifier illustrated in fig. 1 and 2, and is used to identify an MBMS service, so that the virtual MBMS service identifier is used to reflect that when a paging message is transmitted by using a special MBMS control signaling, no MBMS service data needs to be transmitted, and is therefore referred to as a virtual MBMS service.
