Abstract

技术领域
本发明公开一种便携并且可折叠的多媒体终端。
背景技术
为了召开参与者位于不同区域的会议,可以使用许多技术系统。这些系统可包括视频会议、网络会议和音频会议。
用于替代真实会议的最逼真替代物是高端视频会议系统。传统的视频会议系统包括许多通过WAN、LAN和/或有线交换网来传送实时视频、音频和/或数据流的终端(endpoint)。终端包括一个或多个监视器、摄像机、麦克风和/或数据捕获装置和编码译码器,该编码译码器分别编码和解码输出和输入流。此外,需要集中式源、即通常所说的多点控制单元(MCU),用于将多个终端连接到一起。MCU通过下述步骤执行这种连接:通过点对点连接从终端接收多媒体信号(音频、视频和/或数据)、处理所接收的信号、并将经处理的信号在传送到会议中的所选择的各终端。
在所有的视频会议系统中,重要的是用户之间的视觉交流要尽可能自然。如果屏幕和摄像机靠近放置并且成自然的直前视角,就能够实现这种自然的视觉交流。难题在于如何设计紧凑的可折叠视频会议系统,并且随着无线技术的出现,对这种产品的需求也日益增加。重要的是,对于用户而言,这种系统的操作要简便。
采用常规形式的膝上型视频会议系统的问题是,为了直前视角,会将屏幕和摄像机设置得太低。在相对端的人会感觉是在向下看。当然可将该系统放置在一摞书上,但这不是现实的解决方案。缓解该问题的一个可选方法是使膝上型设备比正常的长,但这会不如以前那样紧凑并将可能占据更多的书桌空间。另一可选方法是制造规则的膝上型形式的系统,但该系统在打开盖以后,可以将屏幕和摄像机向上滑动。这需要两种操作来使系统向上,对大多数人来说将会太费力。
在市场上有若干不同的桌面视频会议系统,但没有一种是可折叠的。没有已知的利用类似解决方案来升高屏幕的膝上型计算机。
发明内容
本发明的目标是利用四杆联动机构升高屏幕和摄像机,提供一种用于视频会议系统或个人电脑的紧凑的可展开/可折叠的多媒体终端。
本发明的一个目的是提供一种可折叠的多媒体终端,并且能够由一只手来开启以使该单元从折叠位置改变到工作位置。这种变换通过单一受控运动完成,这使得用户展开和折叠该系统非常容易。
本发明的另一目的是提出一种紧凑的膝上型多媒体终端,其能够展开成完全尺寸、完全高度的桌面系统。这种变换通过单一受控运动完成,这使得用户展开和折叠该系统非常容易。
本发明的目的通过如独立权利要求中所限定的紧凑的可展开多媒体终端得到满足。

具体实施方式
根据本发明的视频会议系统中的终端1包括三个主要模块:包括编码器/译码器(编码译码器)的基座2;可包括扬声器的中间部3;和包括屏幕5和摄像机6的顶部4。
为了当展开系统时获得足够的屏幕和摄像机高度,这些部件位于中间部的顶端。所有三个模块通过旋转接头7、8连接在一起。通常情况下,三个模块彼此独立地自由旋转。为了较好地控制每个模块的运动,具有旋转接头的附加连接件9位于基座2和顶部4之间。所得到的机构即为通常所说的四杆联动机构(four bar linkage)。
在示出的实施例中,当单元1展开时,顶部4和中间部3形成直线。除了四杆联动机构、旋转接头7、8中的摩擦和/或在基座中用于连杆机构的终点止动(end stop)以外,不需要附加的支撑。但是,例如可通过连接到屏幕和基座的滑杆提供附加支撑,该滑杆以某一角度设置在屏幕和基座的后部之间。
基座可设有凹槽10、11以容纳顶部和中间部的突出部分,例如扬声器、摄像机和输入和输出设备。这些凹槽以假想线在图3中的侧视图中示出并在对应的透视图中示出。
在系统1完全展开之后,它能够通过例如上述的终点止动被锁定在该位置。但是,由于接头7、8的摩擦或者附加弹簧应足以将系统维持在适当的位置,因此锁定并非必要。在完全展开的位置,视频会议系统的主要部件在方向和高度上进行最优地设置。与现有技术的膝上型解决方案相比,这是本发明重要并且有利的特征。
在替换的实施例中,键盘连同个人计算机都能够被包括在本系统中。键盘能够布置成折叠在基座下,或滑动地和/或可倾斜地连接到基座以便容易得到。
能够使本系统的操作机动化。能够设置电机,用来折叠和/或展开本系统。
本发明包括利用四杆联动机构的概念,以便升高与可折叠视频会议系统和个人电脑结合的屏幕5和摄像机6。
本发明没有尺寸限制。该机构能够缩放尺寸用于小部件以及大部件。能够弹簧装载或减震该机构的接头,以使系统容易打开和关闭。本系统能够制造成完全无线连接或通过有线连接。
本发明使得拥有紧凑的膝上型形式的视频会议系统成为可能,该视频会议系统能够展开成完全尺寸、完全高度的桌面系统。这种变换通过单一受控运动完成,这使得用户展开和折叠该系统非常容易。
Claims (7)
1.一种可折叠多媒体终端(1),包括带有屏幕(5)、摄像机(6)、麦克风和扬声器系统的三个主要部分:基座部(2)、中间部(3)和顶部(4),其特征在于,
所述三个主要部分(2、3、4)通过旋转接头(7、8)连接,并且各杆(9)被布置到所述顶部(4)和基座部(2),以引导所述三个部分(2、3、4)从完全折叠位置到完全展开位置的相对于彼此的运动,并且所述摄像机(6)设置在包括在所述顶部(4)的所述屏幕(5)的上方,并且所述扬声器系统包括在所述中间部(3)。
2.如权利要求1所述的可折叠多媒体终端(1),其特征在于,
