技术领域
本发明有关于切换通讯模组的方法,尤指一种通讯装置设有一内建通讯模组,该通讯装置连接连接一外接通讯模组后,使得该通讯装置可选择欲使用的网络模组。
背景技术
现今电子产业飞速发展,电脑、通讯产品等高科技电子产品不断地推陈出新,近年来携带式电子通讯产品更成为电子产品的发展重心,各家生产业者不断地对其生产的产品进行改良,并朝向短小轻薄、复合式功能以及强大地运用软件程序,以期符合消费者愈来愈高的使用需求,并能在市场上占有先机,在各式携带式电子通讯产品中,以移动电话、个人数字助理机(Personal Digital Assistant,以下简称PDA)及个人手机系统(Personal Handy-phone System,简称:PHS)的手机(以下简称:PHS手机)等为最具代表性,其具有多种的应用工具(软件)及在各该应用工具中,又分别具有若干的附属工具(附属软件),使其具有不同的功能,而令个人数字助理机广受消费大众的喜爱,已在全球被广泛应用,故,对电子产品的生产制造商而言,其是否能以最低成本制造出具备最多功能或与众不同的功能,使其生产电子产品能满足消费大众的需求,亦为评估生产制造商的工艺水准的一重要指标。
自从制定了整合封包无线电服务技术(General Packet Radio Service,简称GPRS)后,整合了全球移动通讯系统(Global System for Mobile,简称:GSM)与互联网(Internet)原本各自独立的现况,该整合封包无线电服务技术是在现有的全球移动通讯系统上,加上几个数据交换节点,由于,该数据交换节点具有处理封包的功能,使得全球行动通讯系统能够和网际网路能够互相连接。
又,具备整合封包无线电服务技术的手机(以下简称:GPRS手机)和基站间的传输速率,最高可达到160Kbps,而具备全球移动通讯系统的手机(以下简称:GSM手机)用来传输资料(Data)的9.6Kbps速率,由此可知,GPRS手机的传输速率比GSM手机的传输速率快16-17倍,可说是大幅提高,而160Kbps速率也比拨接数据机速率56Kbps还要快2-3倍,而一般的个人电脑都能利用56Kbp的传输速率,用来浏览互联网上的文字及图片,相当然GPRS手机必定也能同时传送声音、图片、文字等多媒体资讯。
以PHS手机而言,其是日本制定的数字无线电话(Digital Cordless)标准,个人手机系统的基站发射功率在32瓦以下,其频率为1895MH到1918MH之间,手机移动速度在120公里以下都可以通话,相较于GSM900、DCS1800等高功率移动电话,PHS手机的通话费率不但较便宜(约为GSM系统的1/3),而且因为低功率,没有电磁波的困扰,加上配合宽频上网(64K传送速率),还可以有将近800小时的待机时间,并且只要插上室内电话线级可以变成室内电话,而可在家庭、办公室、公众场合使用,在日本的双模技术还可以让使用者保留原来的大哥大号码,又PHS电话可连结到互联网,并可收发电子邮件,例如台湾大众电信公司所推出的“PHS拇指邮件服务”,其可利用PHS手机收发电子邮件,且几乎可达到与电脑收发电子邮件的方式。
但,由于一般移动电话上,通常都仅设有一个电信服务系统,使得使用者在一支移动电话中,仅可以一种电信服务系统与另一移动电话相互传讯,而其他的电信服务系统将被搁置一旁,完全毫无用处。因此,有若干的移动电话的制造商,或移动电话的配件制造商,为解决此一问题,而研发出一种同时支援全球移动通讯系统和个人手机系统的双模手机。这时该双模手机即设有自由切换方法,让该双模手机能根据环境或者实际操作的需要,使其在全球移动通讯系统和个人手机系统之间自由切换。
但,该双模手机上同时设有全球移动通讯系统和个人手机系统,虽可方便使用者使用,但使用者通常是不需要同时使用两个系统,而是在某些时段或地区时,才会使用其中一个系统,且此种双模手机的售价又高,因此,在使用者通常都会考虑是否要购买此种售价高的双模手机。再者,该双模手机在其结构上是在移动电话的电路板,安装两个系统晶片及相关电子元件,使得该二晶片及电子元件将占用到电路板上许多的空间,而使得该电路板的大小,无法达到小型化、短小轻薄的设计目标及降低生产成本。
发明内容
有鉴于此,为改进已有技术的缺点,发明人经过长久努力研究与实验,终于开发设计出本发明的一种。
本发明的一个目的在于提供一种通讯装置切换通讯模组的方法。该方法是在一通讯装置表面设有一连接端,该连接端可供连接一外接通讯模组,而该通讯装置内包括一控制模组及一内建通讯模组,其中该控制模组分别与该连接端及内建通讯模组相接,而该外接通讯模组与内建通讯模组分别匹配不同通讯系统,使该通讯装置依照下列步骤进行处理:首先,利用该控制模组判断该连接端与该外接通讯模组的连接状态;然后,该控制模组根据该连接状态,决定同时启动该外接通讯模组与内建通讯模组,或仅启动该外接通讯模组与内建通讯模组其中之一

具体实施方式
目前市场上的双模手机,是在其内同时设有PHS通与GSM通讯模组,但实际上PHS通讯模组和GSM通讯模组是相互独立的,故,本发明即利用此一特点提供一种通讯装置1的切换通讯模组的方法,请参阅图1所示,其中该通讯装置1表面设有一连接端10,该连接端10可供连接一外接通讯模组2,该通讯装置1内包括一控制模组12及一内建通讯模组14,其中该控制模组12分别与该连接端10及内建通讯模组14相接,而该外接通讯模组2与内建通讯模组14分别匹配不同通讯系统,使该通讯装置1可利用该控制模组12判断该连接埠10与该外接通讯模组2的连接状态,令该控制模组12根据该连接状态,决定同时启动该外接通讯模组2与内建通讯模组14,或仅启动该外接通讯模组2与内建通讯模组14其中之一。
在本发明的一较佳实施例中,请参阅图1及2所示,该通讯装置1内还包括一使用者操作模组16,该使用者操作模组16亦与该控制模组12相接,使该通讯装置1利用该控制模组12判断该连接端10已与该外接通讯模组2相接后,该控制模组12可利用该使用者操作模组16,而在该通讯装置1所设的一显示单元3上呈现一使用者操作界面4,且该使用者操作界面4被操作后,该使用者操作模组16可产生一启动讯号,该启动讯号将经由该使用者操作界面4传送到该控制模组12,该控制模组12再根据该启动讯号决定同时启动该外接通讯模组2与内建通讯模组14,或启动该外接通讯模组2与内建通讯模组14其中之一,如此,使用者将可根据需要灵活选择所要使用的通讯模组。
在该实施例中,请参阅图2及3所示,该使用者操作界面4设有一同时启动选项40、外接启动选项42及一内建启动选项44,使该控制模组12将依照下列步骤,进行切换通讯模组:
(301)首先,判断该同时启动选项40是否被选取,若是,进行下列步骤(302),否则进行步骤(303);
(302)该使用者操作模组16可产生匹配该同时启动选项40的一同时启动讯号,而该控制模组12根据该同时启动讯号,启动该外接通讯模组2与内建通讯模组14;
(303)再判断该该外接启动选项42是否被选取,若是,进行下列步骤(304),否则进行步骤(305);
(304)该使用者操作模组16可产生匹配该外接启动选项42的外接启动讯号,而该控制模组12根据该外接启动讯号,仅启动该外接通讯模组2;
(305)再判断该内建启动选项44是否被选取,若是,进行下列步骤(306),否则进行步骤(301);
(306)该使用者操作模组16可产生匹配该内建启动选项44的内建启动讯号,而该控制模组12根据该内建启动讯号,仅启动该内建通讯模组14。
在该实施例中,该通讯装置1尚设有一定时单元18,该定时单元18可被设定一第一等待时间,使该控制模组12可藉由读取该定时单元18获取该第一等待时间,使得该控制模组12在超过该第一等待时间,该连接端10仍未与该外接通讯模组2相接,则该控制模组12将径行启动该内建通讯模组14;又,该定时单元18可被设定二第一等待时间,使该控制模组12可藉由读取该定时单元160获取该第二等待时间,使得该控制模组12在超过该第二等待时间后,仍未接收到该启动讯号后,该控制模组12将径行启动该内建通讯模组14。
藉上所述可知,该通讯装置1可让使用者自由地选择所要同时启动二通讯模组14、2,或选择启动该二通讯模组14、2之一,及该通讯装置1在一段时间内仍未外接该外接通讯模组2或选择启动何一通讯模组14、2,则直接启动内建通讯模组14,使用者将可根据需要灵活选择所要使用的通讯模组14、2,且该通讯装置1其内仅内建一个通讯模组,将使得该通讯装置1的体积不会过大,即解决传统双模手机的缺点。
以上所述,仅为本发明最佳的一具体实施例,但本发明的构造特征并不局限于此,任何熟悉本技术领域者在本发明领域内,可轻易思及的变化或修饰,皆可涵盖在以下本案的专利范围。

Claims (8)

1、一种通讯装置的切换通讯模组的方法,是在一通讯装置表面设有一连接端,该连接端可供连接一外接通讯模组,而该通讯装置内包括一控制模组及一内建通讯模组,其中该控制模组分别与该连接端及内建通讯模组相接,而该外接通讯模组与内建通讯模组分别匹配不同通讯系统,使该通讯装置依照下列步骤进行处理:
首先,利用该控制模组判断该连接端与该外接通讯模组的连接状态;
然后,该控制模组根据该连接状态,决定同时启动该外接通讯模组与内建通讯模组,或仅启动该外接通讯模组与内建通讯模组其中之一。
2、如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,该通讯装置内还包括一使用者操作模组,该使用者操作模组亦与该控制模组相接,使该通讯装置利用该控制模组判断该连接端已与该外接通讯模组相接后,依照下列步骤进行处理:
该控制模组利用该使用者操作模组,而在该通讯装置所设的一显示单元上呈现一使用者操作界面;
该使用者操作界面被操作后,该使用者操作模组产生一启动讯号,该启动讯号经由该使用者操作界面传送到该控制模组;
然后,该控制模组再根据该启动讯号决定同时启动该外接通讯模组与内建通讯模组,或启动该外接通讯模组与内建通讯模组其中之一。
3、如权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,该使用者操作界面设有一同时启动选项、外接启动选项及一内建启动选项,使该控制模组依照下列步骤,进行切换通讯模组:
首先,判断该同时启动选项是否被选取;
若该同时启动选项未被选取,则再判断该外接启动选项是否被选取;
若该外接启动选项未被选取,则再判断该内建启动选项是否被选取;
若该内建启动选项未被选取,则再依判断该同时启动选项是否被选取的步骤进行处理。
4、如权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,当判断该同时启动选项已被选取后,该使用者操作模组产生匹配该同时启动选项的同时启动讯号,而该控制模组根据该同时启动讯号,启动该外接通讯模组与内建通讯模组。
5、如权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,当判断该外接启动选项已被选取后,该使用者操作模组产生匹配该外接启动选项的一外接启动讯号,而该控制模组根据该外接启动讯号,启动该外接通讯模组。
6、如权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,当判断该内建启动选项已被选取后,该使用者操作模组产生匹配该内建启动选项的内建启动讯号,而该控制模组根据该同时启动讯号,启动该内建通讯模组。
7、如权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,该通讯装置还设有一定时单元,该定时单元可被设定第一等待时间,使该控制模组藉由读取该定时单元获取该第一等待时间,使得该控制模组在超过该第一等待时间,该连接端仍未与该外接通讯模组相接,则该控制模组径行启动该内建通讯模组。
8、如权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于,该定时单元可被设定第二等待时间,使该控制模组可藉由读取该定时单元获取该第二等待时间,使得该控制模组在超过该第二等待时间后,仍未接收到该启动讯号后,该控制模组径行启动该内建通讯模组。
