Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of voice calling, in particular to a method for selecting voice routing and a voice gateway.
Background
With the wide application of voice over ip (voip) technology, dialing schemes are more and more abundant, and the requirements for rationality and operability of number management are increasingly obvious while service flexibility is improved and the requirements of multiple users are met. For the same call, when there are multiple voice routes to reach the called party, the voice gateway needs to decide the sequence of selecting the multiple voice routes.
In practical networking there are usually two routes for a call to reach the called party, one through the IP network and the other through the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), and the IP network route is usually selected first. When the voice gateway receives the call, the IP network route is preferentially selected to realize long-distance bypass, if the IP network can not continue the call, the call is not released, and then the PSTN route is selected to continue the call. The purpose of improving the call completing rate can be achieved through the voice route backup.
When there are a plurality of voice routes at the same time that can match the same call number, the voice route to be used should be selected according to a predetermined rule. The common rule is priority, that is, the priority of each voice route is configured on the voice gateway, the voice route is selected for the call according to the priority of the voice route, and when the call of the voice route with high priority fails, the voice route with the next priority is selected for the call. The disadvantages of this method are: when the voice route with high priority is interrupted due to network fault and other reasons, the voice gateway still selects the voice route with high priority every time the voice gateway receives a call, and when the call fails, the voice route with low priority is selected for calling, which obviously increases the call setup time greatly.

the voice routing priority storage setting module is used for storing the configuration priority and the actual priority of the voice routing and initializing the actual priority of the voice routing to be the same as the configuration priority; after receiving a routing request, sending out the voice routing information with the highest current actual priority, and after receiving a call connection failure indication, reducing the actual priority of the voice routing with the call connection failure;
the voice route selection module receives the call, sends a route selection request to the voice route priority storage setting module, and selects a corresponding voice route to continue the call according to the voice route information sent by the voice route priority storage setting module; after detecting the call connection failure, sending a call connection failure indication to a voice route priority storage setting module.
The voice gateway further comprises: the timer module sends a timing duration arrival indication to the voice routing priority storage setting module every predetermined duration;
and after receiving the timing duration arrival indication, the voice route priority saving setting module resets the actual priorities of all the current voice routes with the actual priorities lower than the configured priorities to be the same as the configured priorities.
The voice gateway further comprises: timer modules 1 to n, corresponding to the n voice routes respectively,
the timer modules 1-n start timing after receiving a starting instruction sent by the voice route priority storage setting module, and send a timing duration arrival instruction to the voice route priority storage setting module after the timing duration arrives;
and after receiving the call connection failure indication, the voice route priority storage setting module sends a starting instruction to the timer module corresponding to the voice route which makes the call connection failure, and after receiving the timing duration reaching indication sent by the timer module, resets the actual priority of the corresponding voice route to be the same as the configuration priority.
Compared with the prior art, the method and the voice gateway provided by the invention have the advantages that the actual priority is set for each voice route, the initial value of the actual priority of each voice route is equal to the configured priority, the voice route with the highest actual priority is selected to continue the call after the voice gateway receives the call, if the call is not continued successfully, the actual priority of the voice route which fails to continue the call is reduced, and the voice route with the high priority is interrupted and then the call is continued without preferentially selecting the voice route, so that the speed of success of the voice route connection is improved, and the call setup time is shortened; furthermore, the invention resets the actual priority of the voice route with the actual priority lower than the configured priority to be the same as the configured priority after the preset time length, so that the interrupted voice route can be used in time after being recovered.
