FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a portion of a television with a volume adjustment apparatus according to the present invention.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of the volume adjusting device according to the present invention.
Fig. 3 is a flow chart of the operation of the volume adjusting method of the present invention.
[ detailed description ] embodiments
Referring to fig. 1, a schematic diagram of a portion of a television with the volume adjustment apparatus 10 of the present invention is shown. The volume adjustment device 10 has a normal operation mode and an attenuation operation mode. The user can select the operation mode of the volume adjusting device 10 through the infrared remote controller 50 or function keys on the television panel. The volume adjustment device 10 includes a controller 101, an adjustment circuit 102 for performing volume adjustment, a communication port 103, and an audio processor 104. The controller 101 includes a micro control unit 1010, a ram (random Access memory)1012, and an EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-only memory) 1014. The RAM 1012 is in communication with the mcu 1010 for storing data. The EEPROM 1014 communicates with the micro control unit 1010 for storing data. Through the communication port 103, the controller 101 controls the amplification of the audio signal by the audio amplifier 40 of the television. In another embodiment, the EEPROM 1014 can be replaced by Nonvolatile (Nonvolatile) Memory, such as ROM, EPROM, Flash Memory, etc.
The operation mode of the volume adjusting apparatus 10 determines the operation mode of the adjusting circuit 102. When the volume adjusting device 10 is in the normal operation mode, the adjusting circuit 102 is in the normal operation mode; when the volume adjusting device 10 is in the attenuation mode of operation, the adjusting circuit 102 is in the attenuation mode of operation. The adjusting circuit 102 includes an adjuster 1022 and a switch 1024 for switching the operating mode of the adjusting circuit 102. The audio signal received by the tv is transmitted to the adjuster 1022 and the switch 1024, respectively. The adjuster 1022 is connected to the switch 1024 and the audio processor 104, and the audio processor 104 controls the output of the audio signal of the adjuster 1022. The switch 1024 is connected to the mcu 1010, and the mcu 1010 controls the switching of the operation mode of the adjusting circuit 102 according to the operation mode of the volume adjusting apparatus 10. The switch 1024 transmits a normal audio signal or an audio signal output from the adjuster 1022 to the audio processor 104.
Referring to fig. 2, the horizontal axis "L" represents the number of volume levels of each audio signal input to the volume adjustment device 10, and the vertical axis "Y" represents the number of volume levels of each audio signal output by the volume adjustment device 10. When the user selects the volume adjustment device 10 to be in the normal operation mode, the mcu 1010 controls the switch 1024 to switch the adjustment circuit 102 to the normal operation mode. At this time, the audio signal is directly input to the switch 1024 and then output to the audio processor 104. Thus, after the user selects a favorite volume, the series relationship of the input and output volumes of various programs, advertisements and other sounds (including various noises) received by the television through the volume adjustment device 10 is shown by the dotted line in the figure (the dotted line in the small sound zone is covered by the solid line). That is, in the normal operation mode, the volume level number of the output audio signal of the volume adjustment device 10 is the same as the volume level number of the input audio signal, and the function is expressed as:
Y=L(0<=L<=100%)。
when the user selects the volume adjustment device 10 to be in the attenuation mode, the mcu 1010 controls the switch 1024 to switch the adjustment circuit 102 to the attenuation mode. At this time, the audio signal is input to the adjuster 1022 of the volume adjusting apparatus 10. Wherein, the audio processor 104 obtains the volume level of the input audio signal from the adjuster 1022. In each input audio signal, the volume level number is less than LdThe input audio signal of value is a cell audio signal with volume level number greater than LdThe input audio signal of value is a loud-zone audio signal. When the volume level number L of the input audio signal is less than or equal to LdWhen the value is positive, the audio processor 104 returns to the tuner 1022 is output audio signals having a volume level of L. When the volume level number L of the input audio signal is larger than LdIn value, the audio processor 104 returns the output audio signal of the adjuster 1022 with a volume level of Yk. Wherein, YkAt LdAnd L is less than or equal to Ym,YmIs the maximum volume level number of the output audio signal. Thus, the series relationship of the input and output sound volume of various programs, advertisements and other sounds (including various noises) received by the television via the sound volume adjusting device 10 is shown by a solid line in the figure. The function is expressed as:
the adjuster 1022 outputs audio signals according to the aforementioned volume level returned from the audio processor 104. When the input audio signal is a loud-range audio signal, the output audio signal is an attenuated audio signal. The attenuated audio signal is outputted to the audio processor 104 via the switch 1024, and then amplified by the audio amplifier 40 of the tv for playing. In this way, the volume of the high sound zone of various programs, advertisements and other sounds (including various noises) played by the television is attenuated, so that the sudden high sound is prevented from interfering the user.
In this embodiment, L isdValue and YmThe values are preset by the television manufacturer. In another embodiment, the LdValue and YmThe value can be set by the user according to personal preference. When the sound volume adjusting apparatus 10 of the present invention is in the attenuation mode, the user can adjust the sound volume according to personal preference through the infrared remote controller 50 or the function keys on the tv panel at the same time. Which is implemented by the micro control unit 1010 controlling the amplification of the audio amplifier 40 of the television. The volume adjustment device 10 of the present invention can also be used in other audio systems, such as radio receivers, CD players, Walkman (Walkman), etc.

The user selects the operation mode of the volume adjusting apparatus 10 through the infrared remote controller 50 or function keys on the tv panel. In step S510, the mcu 1010 determines whether the volume adjusting apparatus 10 is in the attenuation mode. If so, the workflow proceeds to step S512, otherwise, the workflow proceeds to step S524. In step S524, the mcu 1010 controls the switch 1024 to switch the adjustmentThe circuit 102 goes to normal operating mode. In step S526, the switch 1024 transmits the normal audio signal to the audio processor 104. In step S512, the mcu 1010 controls the switch 1024 to switch the adjusting circuit 102 to the attenuation mode. In step S514, the audio processor 104 obtains the volume level number L of the input audio signal from the adjuster 1022. In step S516, the audio processor 104 determines whether the volume level number of the input audio signal of the adjuster 1022 is greater than LdThe value is obtained. If so, the workflow proceeds to step S518, otherwise, the workflow proceeds to step S530. In step S518, the audio processor 104 returns the volume level number Y of the output audio signal of the adjuster 1022k. Wherein, YkAt LdA value between L and less than or equal to Ym,YmIs the maximum volume level number of the output audio signal. In step S520, the number of steps Y is determined according to the volumekThe adjuster 1022 outputs the attenuated audio signal to the switch 1024. In step S522, the switch 1024 transmits the attenuated audio signal to the audio processor 104. In step S530, the audio processor 104 returns the volume level number L of the output audio signal of the adjuster 1022. In step S532, the adjuster 1022 outputs the normal audio signal to the switch 1024 according to the volume level L. In step S534, the switch 1024 transmits the normal audio signal to the audio processor 104.
The foregoing workflow will be repeated from time to time after the user turns on the television until it stops after the user turns off the television.
