Abstract
The present invention relates to a communication blocking method and a device. Obtained base station system data is utilized to broadcast the broadcast control frequency channels of a region with signals of strong power; then, a temporary mobile device of a mobile unit is searched to identify and monitor whether the mobile unit has an incoming call or not. When the mobile unit is judged to receive an incoming call, the communication blocking device emits false blocking random access information in each time slot capable of sending random access information to make the mobile unit not successfully identified and not receive the incoming call in the region.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a communication blocking method, and more particularly, to a communication blocking method with a selectable blocking object.
Background
Due to the development of wireless communication system technology, wireless communication and personal mobile communication have become an indispensable part of daily life of modern people. The Global system for Mobile communication (GSM) is the system used by most people in taiwan, and because of the popularization of the GSM Mobile phone, the communication between people becomes convenient and simple, and the GSM Mobile phone can talk with other people at any time and any place within a range covered by communication signals, and is not limited by time and place.
Referring to fig. 1, a schematic diagram of a wireless communication system 10 is shown in fig. 1. The wireless communication system 10 includes a plurality of Base Station areas (cells) (not shown in fig. 1) each providing communication services by a Base Station (Base Station), and these Base Station areas are usually adjacent to each other in a Cell-like structure, so that such wireless communication system is also often called a cellular wireless communication system. For simplicity of illustration, fig. 1 includes a base station region 12 and a base station region 20, wherein the base station region 12 is provided by a base station 14 for communication services, and the base station region 20 is provided by a base station 18 for communication services. Both bs areas 12 and 20 include a Mobile Station (MS) 16 within their service areas, and the MS 16 is used for transmitting and receiving wireless communication signals and communicating with the bs to connect to the network. Here, since the mobile unit 16 is in the service areas of the base station areas 12 and 20 at the same time, and the mobile unit 16 can simultaneously transmit and receive signals of the base stations 14 and 18, the mobile unit 16 usually selects the base station with stronger signal strength among the base stations 14 and 18 as a Serving Cell to log in (camp on) the Serving Cell and start the following operation, and when the mobile unit 16 moves and the signal strength in the base station 18 reaches a certain level change, the mobile unit 16 will perform a confirmation action of the log-in.
Although convenient, the current mobile communication system derives some disadvantages from its use. For example, in some public speaking occasions, in class or in movie theaters, a mobile phone user forgets to turn off the mobile phone or forgets to switch the mobile phone to the oscillation mode, and when receiving an incoming call suddenly, the mobile phone makes a sound to disturb others. In the prior art, the music hall can use the mode of electric wave isolation or electric wave interference to block the communication service regionally and completely, but causes the inconvenience that the person who should obtain the communication service can not communicate. Therefore, the invention uses the mode of not totally blocking the communication channel, so that the user enters the coverage range and does not display the no-system service, the user can not receive the incoming call, but can normally speak.

Detailed Description
Please refer to fig. 2. Fig. 2 is a diagram illustrating the communication blocking device 24 of the present invention communicating with the base station 14 and the mobile unit 16. The coverage area covered by the base station 14 signal is shown as base station area 12, and both the mobile unit 16 and the communication blocking device 24 are contained within the base station area 12. The base station 14 uses a Broadcast Control Channel (BCCH) to send an identification signal related to the base station 14, which is provided to the Mobile unit 16 for authentication, including Mobile Country Code (MCC) authentication, Mobile Network Code (MNC) authentication, or Location Area Code (LAC) authentication. In addition to the mobile unit 16 comparing the identification signal on the broadcast control channel, the communication blocking device 24 of the present invention also extracts (siphon) the required identification signal or other information from the broadcast control channel and stores some data of the base station 14 for emulating a base station 14.
Then, the communication blocking device 24 simulates the base station 14 and sends the same broadcast control channel signal (such as the BCCH 'in the figure) to the area 13 according to the information drawn from the base station 14, and the communication blocking device 24 measures the power transmitted by the base station 14 first, so that the power of the BCCH' signal transmitted by the communication blocking device 24 is stronger than the power of the BCCH signal transmitted by the base station 14 in the area 13.
When the mobile unit 16 enters the area 13, receives the BCCH signal from the base station 14 and the BCCH' signal from the communication blocker 24, the mobile unit 16 will recognize the communication blocker 24 as another base station by receiving the stronger signal transmitted by the communication blocker 24, and perform a registration (camp on) step to transmit the identification data 21 corresponding to the mobile unit 16; the communication blocking device 24 may log in to obtain identification data 21 of the Mobile unit 16 and store the identification data 21 in a blocking list in the communication blocking device 24, wherein the identification data 21 is usually Temporary Mobile equipment Identity (TMSI) used for Temporary identification code required for establishing communication with the base station in the GSM system.
The communication blocking device 24 begins to monitor the call signal of the mobile unit 16, and if the base station 14 sends a telephone message to the mobile unit 16, the communication blocking device 24 and the mobile unit 16 will detect the telephone message at the same time, and the communication blocking device 24 will begin to compare the blocking list to determine whether the mobile unit 16 belongs to the blocked object. When it is determined that the mobile unit 16 must block the external call after the comparison and confirmation, the communication blocking device 24 will send out a false blocking Random Access message (blocking RA) to each Random Access slot (RA, time slot) within a predetermined time T, where the Random Access slot is originally a Random Access slot in which the mobile unit 16 starts to link with the base station 14, and thus the base station 14 receives signals transmitted by the communication blocking device 24 and the mobile unit 16 at the same time, and therefore the base station 14 will determine that the signals in the slot are invalid signals due to mutual collision and interference of the signals, and the mobile unit 16 cannot complete the authentication procedure with the base station 14, and cannot receive the call; the predetermined time T is greater than the time for the mobile unit 16 to establish communications with the base station 14 and perform a random access retry.
Please refer to fig. 3. Fig. 3 is a flowchart of a communication blocking method for selectively blocking an object according to the present invention. This method is implemented by a communication blocking device. Step 100 performs a cell selection step. The communication blocking device, like the mobile unit, must select a base station with the strongest signal strength and suitable for communication. This process of selecting a base station area according to the strength of the broadcast control channel signal sent by the base station is called Cell Selection (Cell Selection). The process of cell selection is judged using two parameters C1 and C2, as specified by ETSI 05.08, and C1 is defined as follows:
c1 ═ (a-Max (B, 0)); wherein
A=RLA_C-RXLEV_ACCESS_MIN;
RLA _ C is the average power of the carrier of the signal;
RXLEV _ ACCESS _ MIN is the minimum signal strength of a system to which a mobile unit can connect;
B=MS_TXPWR_MAX_CCH-P;
MS _ TXPWR _ MAX _ CCH is the maximum value of the broadcast control channel which is not subjected to power control;
p is the maximum output power of the mobile unit;
if the value of C1 for a certain base station area is greater than zero, it indicates that this base station area is suitable for mobile unit entry, and the base station area with the largest value of C1 will be selected as the base station area for mobile unit entry. If the mobile unit is in a moving state (the detected parameter C1 of the bs area will change during the moving process), or if the selected bs area has been rejected for communication, or other reasons, the selected bs area must be determined by using the parameter C2. C2 is defined as follows:
C2=C1+CELL_RESELECTION_OFFSET-TEMPORARYOFFSET*H(PENALTY_TIME-T);
equal to PENALTY _ TIME < >11111
Wherein for non-serving base station areas
H(x)=0 for x<0
=1 for x≥0;
For the serving base station area
H(x)=0;
Step 100 detects a suitable BCCH for the mobile unit to log on among a plurality of BCCHs in the PLMN according to the procedures of cell selection.
Step 110 measures the power of all the broadcast control channels that the Mobile unit can log in, and sorts the broadcast control channel allocation list (BCCH allocation) of each different Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) according to the measured power of the broadcast control channels. Step 120 performs time synchronization with all base stations that the mobile unit can log in to based on a synchronization pulse (synchronization Burst) signal sent from the base stations scanned in step 100. Once synchronized with a base station's time, step 130 is performed to receive a first Broadcast Control Channel (BCCH) signal transmitted by the synchronized base station and read out a system information.
As mentioned above, a mobile unit entering a base station area and entering the base station must undergo some authentication procedures, such as mobile country code, mobile network code, and location area code identification checks. The communication blocking method of the present invention simulates the communication blocking apparatus as a fake base station, and allows the mobile units in a predetermined area to log the identification data onto the fake base station, so that the fake base station must obtain the identification information and other related data of the original base station, step 130, to achieve the purpose of extracting system information from the broadcast control channel in the suitable public land mobile network.
In step 110, a broadcast control channel allocation list of different plmn is generated, and in step 140, the communication blocking apparatus transmits a second broadcast control channel signal with stronger power in the area covering a predetermined range according to the broadcast control channel allocation list, and the second broadcast control channel signal carries the system information extracted in step 130, at this time, the communication blocking apparatus emulates a base station in the predetermined area, and the signal transmission power of the communication blocking apparatus is stronger in the predetermined area than that of other nearby base stations, it should be noted that the power of the first broadcast control channel is greater in the predetermined range than that of other broadcast control channels, and the power of the second broadcast control channel signal is greater in the predetermined range than that of the first broadcast control channel signal. The stronger power broadcast channel will induce mobile units in the base station area to log on to the communication blocking device; even if the mobile unit does not log the identification data in the communication blocking device when entering the predetermined area, the mobile unit will send the identification data to the communication blocking device for obtaining the identification data by confirming whether the mobile unit is still in the base station within a predetermined time according to the GSM specification.
The blocking method of the present invention can select certain specific objects to block, that is, the method can block specific mobile units. Temporary mobile equipment identification (TMSI) of a particular blocking object within the predetermined range is gathered in step 150. Step 160 receives a common control channel signal and determines whether the common control channel signal has the associated temporary mobile equipment identity of step 150. If it is determined that there is a base station sending a telephone message to the mobile unit to be blocked, the blocking signal is sent in step 170 for a predetermined time period, wherein the predetermined time period comprises a plurality of random access time slots in a Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) system. The random access information of the mobile unit is collided with the Blocking signal by using the false Blocking random access information (Blocking RA), the base station judges that the random access information is invalid when receiving the collided Blocking signal, and the connection establishment is failed after a preset time, wherein the preset time is longer than the time for the mobile unit to establish communication with the base station and perform random access retry, namely the number of the mobile unit to retry the connection with the base station is less than the number of the random access time slots for transmitting the Blocking signal. Therefore, the mobile unit does not successfully authenticate despite the incoming call, and cannot establish a link with the base station. After the temporary mobile equipment identification of the integrated services digital network list of all mobile units is collected, the communication blocking device stops broadcasting, and the mobile unit can still log in the correct network to obtain the calling service. The method flow in fig. 3 is a preferred sequence of the present invention, and the user can change the sequence of steps to suit different applications. The communication blocking method of the selectable object can be used for blocking the call reception on GSM communication.
Please refer to fig. 4. Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of a communication blocking device 30 for selectively blocking an object according to the present invention. The communication blocking device 30 includes an antenna 32, a receiver 34, a transmitter 36, a power detection module 37, an analog-to-digital converter/digital-to-analog converter 38, a list storage module 39, a logic determination module 41, an encoding/decoding module 42, a processing unit 44, and a personal computer 46. The receiver 34 and the transmitter 36 transmit and receive wireless signals through the antenna 32. The signals received by the receiver 34 include broadcast control channel signals and common control channel signals transmitted by the base station. The transmitter 36 is used to transmit a blocking signal and a second bcch signal within a predetermined area, the second bcch signal corresponding to the bcch signal transmitted by the base station, i.e. the transmitter 36 performs steps 140 and 190 of fig. 3 to transmit the second bcch signal with stronger power to cover a predetermined range and to transmit the blocking random access information (blocking RA) for a predetermined time.
The list storage module 39 of fig. 4 is used to store a block list. The power detection module 37 is connected to the receiver 34 for detecting the power of the broadcast control channel signal transmitted by the base station. The processing unit 44 stores the temporary mobile equipment identity sent by the mobile unit in the block list, and additionally assists in performing steps 100, 120, 130 and 170 of fig. 3. The logic determination module 41 assists in implementing step 160 of fig. 3 to determine whether the transmitter 36 sends a block random access message according to the block list stored in the list storage module 39 and the common control channel signal received by the receiver 34, and the transmitter transmits the block signal for a predetermined period of time when the common control channel signal has the temporary mobile equipment identity. The adc/dac 38 is used for converting analog signals into digital signals, and the coding/decoding module 42 decodes or codes the signals of the receiver 34 and the transmitter 36. The processing unit receiver the object-selectable communication blocking device of the invention can be used for blocking call reception on GSM communication.
In order to avoid the interference of other people caused by the ringing of the incoming call of the mobile unit in public places such as class or concert, the invention utilizes the communication blocking device to obtain the system data of a base station, then simulate the behavior of the base station, broadcast the broadcast control channel by a signal with stronger power according to the distribution list of the broadcast control channel, and then obtain the temporary mobile equipment identification of the mobile unit and start to monitor whether the mobile unit has the incoming call. When the mobile unit is judged to receive the incoming call, the communication blocking device sends out false random access blocking information in each time slot capable of sending the random access information, and the random access information of the mobile unit collides with the random access blocking information, so that the mobile unit cannot be successfully authenticated although the mobile unit has the incoming call, and the incoming call display cannot be realized. The communication blocking method and the device capable of selecting the blocking object can effectively block irregular incoming calls without influencing users needing to speak. Compared with the prior art, the method and the device with low cost and low complexity realize the function of only blocking the incoming call without interfering the originating which cannot be achieved before.
All equivalent changes and modifications of the preferred embodiments of the present invention, which are described above and claimed in the claims of the present invention, should be covered by the claims of the present invention.
