Método para estabilizar los relaves mineros elaborando una carpeta fitoestabilizadora. Este método consiste en aplicar sucesivamente tres capas de residuos industriales que forman un sustrato orgánico biológicamente activo, donde la capa inferior está compuesta por materia orgánica, residuos industriales vitivinícolas u otros de productoras y comercializadoras de frutas y hortalizas, la segunda capa es un componente de lodos papeleros, residuos de la industria papelera o de otras industrias procesadoras de papel y cartón, con semillas remediadoras, capaces de tolerar altas concentraciones de metales pesados, y la tercera capa está formada por aglomerante, lignina de residuo de la industria papelera y forestal, melaza u otro aglomerante orgánico, de esta manera, se estructura una carpeta fitorremediadora que, debido a las cualidades físico-químicas de los lodos y de las semillas, evita la dispersión de las partículas de relave al medio ambiente, inmoviliza los metales pesados y mantiene la humedad del sustrato semillado recuperando la cobertura vegetal con un mínimo requerimiento de agua.Method to stabilize mining tailings by developing a phytostabilizing binder.
