Sistema y método de identificación automática de documentos fotocopiados. El método comprende: capturar (202) una imagen (112) de un documento impreso marcado (102); descifrar (204) una marca de agua digital embebida en la imagen (112), obteniendo un identificador de marca (206); recuperar, mediante consulta (208) a una base de datos (306), al menos un parámetro de calibración asociado al identificador de marca (206); aplicar (214) una transformada de Fourier discreta sobre la imagen, obteniendo una matriz de frecuencias (216); obtener (222) al menos un valor máximo de frecuencia (224) en la matriz de frecuencias (216); comparar (226) el al menos un valor máximo de frecuencia (224) con al menos un parámetro de calibración; determinar (228), en base a dicha comparación, si el documento impreso marcado (102) es un documento original (124) o un documento fotocopiado (126). El método identifica un documento fotocopiado sin la pérdida de la marca de agua digital, manteniendo la trazabilidad del documento durante toda su vida útil.System and method of automatic identification of photocopied documents. The method identifies a photocopied document without the loss of the digital watermark, maintaining the traceability of the document throughout its useful life.
