Abstract

Se describen gránulos de fertilizante que contienen azufre elemental y un hidrogel que se expande o se hincha en el suelo para dispersar más fácilmente la superficie de azufre elemental en todo el suelo, lo que aumenta el área de superficie de azufre elemental disponible para la oxidación, y finalmente la absorción de azufre por parte de la planta. El azufre elemental y el hidrogel se pueden agregar a una composición de fertilizante como revestimiento exterior o co-granularse con la composición de fertilizante base.
