Abstract
SE DIVULGA UN PROCESO DE POLIMERIZACIÓN DE SOLUCIÓN CONTINUA CARACTERIZADO PORQUE SE EMPLEAN AL MENOS DOS FORMULACIONES CATALIZADORAS. SE EMPLEA UNA PRIMERA FORMULACIÓN CATALIZADORA HOMOGÉNEA EN UN PRIMER REACTOR PARA PRODUCIR UN PRIMER INTERPOLÍMERO DE ETILENO Y SE EMPLEA UNA PRIMERA FORMULACIÓN CATALIZADORA HETEROGÉNEA EN UN SEGUNDO REACTOR PARA PRODUCIR UN SEGUNDO INTERPOLÍMERO DE ETILENO. OPCIONALMENTE, SE FORMA UN TERCER INTERPOLÍMERO DE ETILENO EN UN TERCER REACTOR. LOS PRODUCTOS DE INTERPOLÍMERO DE ETILENO RESULTANTES POSEEN PROPIEDADES DESEABLES EN VARIAS APLICACIONES DE USO FINAL, POR EJEMPLO, EN APLICACIONES DE PELÍCULA. SE DIVULGA UN MEDIO PARA AUMENTAR EL PESO MOLECULAR DEL PRIMER INTERPOLÍMERO DE ETILENO Y/O UN MEDIO PARA AUMENTAR LA TEMPERATURA DEL PRIMER REACTOR, EN RELACIÓN CON UNA TERCERA FORMULACIÓN CATALIZADORA HOMOGÉNEA. SE DIVULGA UN MEDIO PARA REDUCIR LA PROPORCIÓN DE PESO (a-OLEFINA/ETILENO) EN EL PRIMER REACTOR Y/O PARA REDUCIR LA DENSIDAD DEL PRIMER INTERPOLÍMERO DE ETILENO EN RELACIÓN CON UNA TERCERA FORMULACIÓN CATALIZADORA HOMOGÉNEA.A CONTINUOUS SOLUTION POLYMERIZATION PROCESS IS DISCLOSED, CHARACTERIZED BECAUSE AT LEAST TWO CATALYST FORMULATIONS ARE USED. A FIRST HOMOGENEOUS CATALYST FORMULATION IS USED IN A FIRST REACTOR TO PRODUCE A FIRST ETHYLENE INTERPOLYMER AND A FIRST HETEROGENEOUS CATALYST FORMULATION IS USED IN A SECOND REACTOR TO PRODUCE A SECOND ETHYLENE INTERPOLYMER. OPTIONALLY, A THIRD ETHYLENE INTERPOLYMER IS FORMED IN A THIRD REACTOR. THE RESULTING ETHYLENE INTERPOLYMER PRODUCTS HAVE DESIRABLE PROPERTIES IN SEVERAL END-USE APPLICATIONS, FOR EXAMPLE IN FILM APPLICATIONS. A MEANS OF INCREASING THE MOLECULAR WEIGHT OF THE FIRST ETHYLENE INTERPOLYMER AND / OR A MEANS OF INCREASING THE TEMPERATURE OF THE FIRST REACTOR, IN RELATION TO A THIRD HOMOGENEOUS CATALYST FORMULATION, IS DISCLOSED. A MEANS ARE DISCLOSED TO REDUCE THE WEIGHT RATIO (a-OLEFIN / ETHYLENE) IN THE FIRST REACTOR AND / OR TO REDUCE THE DENSITY OF THE FIRST ETHYLENE INTERPOLYMER IN RELATION TO A THIRD HOMOGENEOUS CATALYST FORMULATION.
