Abstract
La invención es concerniente con el tratamiento de relaves mineros en forma de efluentes acuosos que comprenden partículas sólidas. El proceso de la invención hace posible separar toda o parte del agua de un efluente acuoso que comprende partículas sólidas. Este proceso comprende (a) agregar al efluente por lo menos un polímero natural aniónico modificado seleccionado de entre gomas guar aniónicas y/o almidones aniónicos, a continuación (b) agregar por lo menos un polímero natural catiónico modificado seleccionado de entre almidones catiónicos y/o dextranas y/o quitosanas catiónicas. La invención también se refiere a una composición que comprende un efluente acuoso que comprende partículas sólidas tratadas mediante un polímero natural aniónico modificado y un polímero natural catiónico modificado. Preferiblemente, se refiere a una composición que comprende un efluente acuoso que comprende partículas sólidas, por lo menos un polímero natural aniónico modificado seleccionado de entre gomas guar aniónicas y/o almidones aniónicos y por lo menos un polímero natural catiónico modificado seleccionado de entre almidones catiónicos y/o dextranas y/o quitosanas catiónicas.
