Abstract

Modalidades de una lámina microcapilar termoformada y artículos fabricados mediante un proceso que comprende las etapas de (a) proporcionar una lámina termoplástica que comprende material termoplástico, en la que la lámina termoplástica comprende al menos uno o más canales microcapilares dispuestos en la misma y que tienen un volumen inicial de vacío basado en un volumen total de la lámina microcapilar; y (b) calentar la lámina termoplástica a una temperatura a la que el material termoplástico sea flexible para formar una lámina microcapilar termoconformada con al menos uno o más canales microcapilares dispuestos en la misma y que tiene un volumen final de voladura, basado en un volumen total de la láminas microcapilares. El volumen final de evacuación de al menos uno o más canales microcapilares de la lámina microcapilar termoformada es de al menos aproximadamente un 10 por ciento del volumen inicial de la voladura de al menos uno o más canales microcapilares de la lámina termoplástica.
