Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un metodo para reducir el fosforo en un efluente o filtrado de un proceso que comprende al menos una etapa donde las condiciones son ácidas, donde el metodo comprende los pasos de: a) obtener una primera parte de un efluente o filtrado de una etapa donde las condiciones son acidas; b) obtener una segunda parte de un efluente o filtrado de ia misma etapa o una diferente donde las condiciones son ácidas; c) ajustar el ph de ia primera parte del efluente o filtrado a alcalino con un agente alcalino; d) permitir que el fósforo se precipite en forma de una sal de fosfato; e) separar el precipitado usando fuerzas centrifugas para producir un efluente o filtrado purificada; y f) combinar el efluente o filtrado purificado con ia segunda parte del efluente o filtrado.
