Abstract
<p>Un sistema para Ia detección temprana de cortocircuitos y contactos eléctricos débiles o sin contacto eléctrico en los electrodos (4) en celdas electrolíticas (7) de electro-obtención o electro-refinación de metales, en donde dicha detección se efectúa por el cambio de colores de uno de los elementos del sistema, que utiliza pigmentos termosensibles; comprende: un medio detector de cambio de temperatura, conformada por una placa (10) que utiliza pigmentos termosensibles, Ia cual está localizada sobre una barra de cátodo (5), en donde dicha placa termosensible cambia de un color "N" de operación normal de Ia celda electrolítica (7) a un color "A" con el aumento de Ia Temperatura, o bien, dicha placa que utiliza pigmentos termosensibles que cambia de un color "N" de operación normal de Ia celda electrolítica (7) a un color "B" con disminución de Ia temperatura; y un medio de fijación (12) para fijar dicha placa termosensible (10) sobre dicha barra de cátodo (10).</p><p> A system for the early detection of short circuits and weak electrical contacts or without electrical contact in the electrodes (4) in electrolytic cells (7) of electro-obtaining or electro-refining of metals, wherein said detection is carried out by the change of colors of one of the elements of the system, which uses heat sensitive pigments; it comprises: a temperature change detector means, formed by a plate (10) that uses heat-sensitive pigments, which is located on a cathode bar (5), wherein said heat-sensitive plate changes from a "N" color of normal operation of the electrolytic cell (7) to a color "A" with the increase of the Temperature, or said plate that uses heat sensitive pigments that changes from a normal "N" color of operation of the electrolytic cell (7) to a color "B" with decrease in temperature; and a fixing means (12) for fixing said heat-sensitive plate (10) on said cathode bar (10). </p>
