Description

Schwimmgurt.

Swim belt. The subject of the present invention forming swimming belt is shown in the accompanying drawings in an exemplary embodiment, namely: Fig. 1 the swimming belt in view, and Fig. 2 on a larger scale part of the same, with parts in section.

The swimming belt shown has an air-impermeable material such. B. soft rubber, existing hose 1, which is closed at both ends and carries a valve 6 to which an air pump can be screwed. The hose 1 is inserted into a protective jacket 2 made of flexible material, which is intended to prevent accidental injury to the hose 1. The protective jacket 2 can be made airtight. A snap hook 3 and rings 4 are provided on the same so that the swim belt can be adjusted to different diameters. In order to prevent the escape of air through the valve 6, are on this. two overlying end caps 5, 7 see easily.

The length of the strap can be chosen so that it can be placed one or more times (in the body of the swimmer. The diameter of the hose is measured according to the use of the strap; it can be chosen as large that the swim belt can also be used on animals (horses etc.) or for goods.

In order to prevent that the entire load-bearing capacity of the swim belt is lost due to an injury to the hose, the hose can be divided into individual cells, chambers, which are closed off from one another. The cross section of the hose can, for example, also be elliptical instead of round.

The swim belt described has the advantage that it takes up little space when it is empty. It is not a hindrance to swimming itself. Individual inflatable air pockets etc. can also be provided on the belt in order to increase the load-bearing capacity.

Carriers can be provided on the belt in order to be able to fix the same to the body.
