Clothespin. The previously known clothespins made of wood have the disadvantage that they jump off in strong winds, as well as break when pressed against them. To eliminate these disadvantages, so-called spring clips are known, but they also do not ensure an absolutely firm hold and slide easily against each other in wind passage, spe cially when the laundry items are stretched on wires.
The present invention is a clothes peg, which a secure hold of the laundry made light and can be used for ropes and cords as well as for wires who the. According to the invention, the laundry clip is formed from a metal band which is bent to form a resilient bracket, which has a clamping part for clamping the item of laundry to be inserted on the clamping members carrying the same, and whose legs are designed in such a way that the same below said clamping part resiliently rest against each other in order to still be able to hold the introduced piece of laundry underneath the clamping element.
In the accompanying drawings, the subject matter of the invention is shown in two exemplary embodiments, namely: FIG. 1 is a view from the side, and FIG. 2 is a view from the right of FIG. 1 of the first embodiment, FIG a view from the side, and FIG. 4 a view from the right of FIG. 3 of the second exemplary embodiment.
According to the first exemplary embodiment (FIGS. 1 and 2), a is the bracket formed from a resilient metal band. The same is expediently made of stainless material, e.g. B. oxidized or galvanized sheet steel, etc. The middle or web part of the bracket is designed as a clamping head b, which is provided with notches c, in which the clamping member of the laundry items, z. B. a rope, wire, etc., comes to rest. One bracket leg, d, is U-shaped and the free end is bent over towards the left arm of the U.
The other leg, e, of the bracket is curved and rests on the leg d, where the latter forms a knee. The laundry items and thus the clamping elements are inserted between the legs d and e and into the clamping head b, where they are fixed. After the introduction of the laundry pieces, legs d and e close, where the ZVäscheteile are also held between them. The laundry items are held at two points, on the one hand by means of the clamping head b on the clamping elements and on the other hand by means of the resilient legs d and e at a certain distance below the clamping elements.
According to the second embodiment (Fix. 3 and 4), f is again a bracket formed from a resilient metal strip, suitably from rust-free material. The left leg of the bracket f is in turn bent over in the shape of a bracket and the leg h of this bracket thus formed runs approximately parallel to the leg g. The free end part of the leg da is bent over to the right by 180 and the bending point has a circular shape, as a result of which a resilient clamping head k is formed.
The free end part 1 of the leg lt lies on the middle part of the latter direct and the end is slightly bent to the right. The leg m of the bracket f runs in a curved line and rests resiliently on the leg la near the lower end. If items of laundry are to be fastened, the same and thus the clamping member are inserted so deeply between the legs h and tt until they are well fixed in the ring part k.
The items of laundry are located between the legs h and 1, as well as la and 7n. A falling of the clothespins and thus the laundry items from the tensioning member is excluded even in the strongest wind, for example also when the laundry items are rolled over.
