Elektrischer Heisswasser-Automat.
Electric hot water machine. The present invention is an electric hot water machine, which compared to known Ausfüh ments by simple construction, therefore cheap manufacturing costs, as well as the possibility of rapid heating of water with relatively low electricity consumption.
According to the invention, the electric hot water machine has a housing which is provided with inlet and outlet ports, with a cylindrical electrode resting in the interior of the housing, in which a further cylindrical electrode is enclosed, which is concentric and at a distance from the outer Electrode is, wherein in the space between the two cylindrical Elek electrodes is determined to flow through the latter to be heated water. A switching element is connected to the inlet nozzle, which, when the water flows in, can close a circuit in which the two electrodes are installed.
In the accompanying drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment and it shows the same; 1 shows a longitudinal section; FIG. 2 shows a section along line A-A of FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 shows a section along line B-B of FIG.
a denotes the cylindrical housing, b the inlet and c the outlet of the same. In order to bring about a slow flow of water, the clearance of the outlet connection c is smaller than that of the inlet connection b. d is an insulation jacket, which z. B. made of fiber. Eternit or the like consists, and rests on the same of z. B. consisting of carbon electrode cylinder e, which is connected to the contact terminal f.
In the cylinder e, a further electrode cylinder g, which is also expediently made of carbon, is enclosed, which is concentric and at a distance from the outer carbon electrode cylinder e. The rod h is arranged in the carbon electrode cylinder g and is connected to the contact terminal k through the contact plate i. . The cone electrode cylinder g is electrically connected to the rod h by means of the contact bushes 1. in denote through-channels provided in the insulation jacket.
The water flows through the space n between the two carbon electrode cylinders. When the circuit is closed, the water in the space n forms the resistance, whereby the same is heated. A switching device is connected to the inlet port, which automatically closes the circuit when water is supplied, but interrupts it when the water supply stops. The switching device has the housing o in which the rubber diaphragm p) is mounted. On the membrane is the back and forth movable, under the action of a helical spring bolt q be fastened, which is provided at its free end with a contact cross member r.
The contact terminals s and t are arranged opposite the contact crossbar r. The contact terminal t is electrically connected to the contact terminal f 'by wire u. The wire v be attached to the contact terminal s , which leads, for example, to the positive pole of a power source, while the negative pole of the same is connected by wire w wide to the contact terminal k. When water is supplied, the membrane p is bulged by the water pressure, with the bolt q moving in the direction to the right until the cross member r hits the points of the contact terminals s and t, where the circuit is closed.
As soon as the water supply stops, the spring mounted on bolts q causes the diaphragm p to move back to its original position, so that the circuit is interrupted again when the crossbeam is removed from the contact terminals s and t. In the above-described invention, a very rapid heating of the water is made possible and it is thereby possible to build the entire apparatus relatively small.
