Description
Auorduuug for connecting the individual pipe sections of Druckwasserleituugsstolieu- Lininguugeu and the like. The invention relates to an arrangement for connecting the individual pipe sections of pressurized water pipe linings and the like and consists in the fact that the overlapping edges of two pipe sections each enclose an annular space running along the edges by means of a bead-like formation of at least one edge,
in which a solid body sealingly connecting the pipe pieces is embedded.
Fig. 1 is a section through a pressure water pipe tunnel; FIG. 2 shows a detail on a larger scale, and FIG. 3 shows a further embodiment of the same detail.
a is the tunnel, b is the rock surrounding it, and c is the one made up of individual pieces of pipe, e.g. B. inrs wrought iron or steel-made cladding. To bring about a full concern for the latter, the space between the lining and the rock is filled with a layer of cement f. The overlapping edges of the; Pieces of pipe have beads d which enclose an annular space e extending along the edges.
This is filled with a solid body (e.g. cement, rubber, asphalt or the like) which is expediently introduced in a liquid or dough-like state and through which the pipe sections are firmly and tightly connected to one another. The beads can be designed so that the annular space e round (Fig. \?), Vierecki gene (Fig. 3), or any other ge shaped cross-section. The arrangement can in particular also be made such that only one of two overlapping edges is formed in a bead-like manner.
Compared to the previously customary welding of the pipe sections, the rapid connection has the advantage that it does not impede the living conditions for the workers involved in its manufacture. Of course, this connection can also be used for other pipelines, containers and the like, especially for those that are to be added to 3 inaccessible places.
