Allgemein können einzelne Strähnen um ein erfindungsgemässes Haarstylingutensil gedreht werden, wobei damit Locken erzeugt werden können, oder ein erfindungsgemässes Haarstylingutensil kann wie bei einem Zopf, einem französischen Zopf oder einem Fischgrätzopf mit dem Haar zusammengeflochten werden, wobei damit Wellen erzeugt werden können. Da im Unterschied zu bekannten Lösungen aus dem Stand der Technik bei einem erfindungsgemässen Haarstylingutensil keine weiteren Hilfsmittel wie Haargummis, Fixationsgummis, Fixationsbänder und Haarspangen zum Befestigen am Haar notwendig sind, können unerwünschte Abdrücke und Dellen im Haar vermieden werden. Fig. 5d-f und Fig. 6a-c zeigen, wie die separat geformten Haare am Hinterkopf zusammengebracht werden können, dann eingedreht werden können und zum Schluss in einem Dutt befestigt sein können.
