[0001] The present invention refers to a package for containing and displaying valuable and luxury products and articles, such as perfumes, creams, alcoholic products, high-end cosmetics, accessories and / or high fashion items, jewelry and / or similar.

[0002] The object of the present invention finds particular use in the paper converting sector and, specifically, is aimed at packages, packaging, boxes, coated boxes, caskets, cases and / or the like for containment, display, marketing and the sale of quality and luxury products.

[0003] As is known, the presentation and display, as well as the marketing and sale of valuable and luxury products, require the use of equally valuable and high-quality packages which are treated in detail.

[0004] For this purpose, packs of various shapes and sizes have been produced which can be simple or foldable, coated with special materials, such as special papers and / or canvas and / or any other valuable material, or silk-screened and / or printed planographically, or provided with plastic elements that are appropriately made by thermoforming processes.

[0005] An example of a known package normally used for the sale and / or display of perfumes, beauty products, spirits and / or the like provides for the presence of at least three components, namely: a box-shaped body, a lid, and a special support for the products or articles to be contained and / or exhibited.

[0006] Generally, the box-like body is made of cardboard or a similar paper material and is provided with a bottom from which a plurality of side walls extends perpendicularly so that a respective housing compartment is defined.

[0007] The lid is also made of cardboard or a similar paper material and has a covering wall from which a plurality of side walls extend to define a cover compartment capable of accommodating at least the upper part of the box-like body inside it .

[0008] The support, which is made entirely of plastic by means of an appropriate thermoforming process, has a monobloc structure having one or more housing cavities for engaging the products to be contained and / or exhibited and a plurality of support portions designed to engage the bottom of the box-like body when the support is inserted inside the housing compartment of the same.

[0013] Although this new evolution of the known packages allows a significant reduction of the unwanted plastic material with considerable advantages in terms of costs, waste disposal and recycling of the same, the Applicant has found that it is possible to provide an alternative solution that simplifies the operations of separate waste collection, assisting the disposal of the same and allowing to optimize the automation of the process of making and forming the aforementioned packages.
