Abstract
The programmable logic controller of the inventive lighting system is used for at least two light sources / LED chains (11, 12), so that they can be controlled asynchronously or regulated. Thus, the various LED chains (11, 12) are controlled specifically asynchronously by means of the activation of the operating device (2) as a function of the secondary PWM signal (6) or by the PWM signal (13) of the programmable logic controller (Controlling Unit). (8) dimmed. Thus, the use of different colored LED chains when dimming the operating device (2) has a reduction of the light intensity of the LED module (3) and at the same time a color shift of the light result.
Description
Description: This invention relates to a lighting system with a special control by the associated operating device by means of a pulse width modulation, so that at least two or more LED chains or channels are controlled asynchronously, so that with their color changes lights of different "heat" can be generated ,
Conventional bulbs, such as light bulbs or halogen lamps, change their color with decreasing power supply, then shine not only less intense, but their light is also "warmer", that is, the light color changes. This makes them suitable for exerting atmospheric influence on the illuminated space. Modern light sources, namely LEDs, which convert electrical energy into light more effectively than conventional light sources, however, change their light intensity with decreasing power supply, but not the light color. Often, luminaires with multiple LED chains or lighting channels are supplied with a flat and even power or dimmed, which then simply causes a change in the light intensity. However, it would be desirable, with one and the same lighting system based on LEDs on the one hand specifically to provide bright, sharp light, so for a light that specifically irradiates a work surface, or illuminates a workplace or other normal space such as a living room, and at the same time to provide a light which is intended to provide general illumination of the room and above all to create an atmosphere. For this, a colored light or at least a warmer light can be used than it is used for the pure, clear illumination of a workplace.
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a lighting system that solves both tasks and as a total solution provides a bright lighting a workplace or room on the one hand and on the other hand, the creation of a pleasant lighting atmosphere.
This object is achieved by a lighting system with at least two lamps / LED chains and an operating device with programmable logic controller, by means of which by a dimming of the operating device whose provided secondary power to one or more LED chains or channels by means of a pulse width Asynchronous modulation signal as a function of the detected PWM signal or the secondary power provided and controllable according to a programmable dimming curve is adjustable and thus asynchronously divisible and can be mixed.
In the drawings, such a lighting system is presented in an exemplary embodiment and described in the following description with reference to these drawings and its operation is explained.

In Fig. 1, all the main components of the present lighting system are shown, namely a main AC power supply 1, the associated power supply cable 5, which leads to a dimmable operating device 2. From this path leads a secondary DC power connector 6, which outputs a DC voltage with superimposed pulse width modulation. This leads to the terminals 7 of the DC terminals of a connected LED module 3 with its associated heat sink 14. Beyond the LED module 3 is an optical system 15 for emitting work light. All components can be housed in a lighting system unit 16, that is, the operating device 2 as well as the actual lights, for example, when the lighting system unit 16 is designed as a free-standing floor lamp. If, on the other hand, it is installed in a ceiling or wall, the components can be designed separately in order to conceal the operating device in the ceiling or wall behind the actual luminaires.
So kann zum Beispiel die Lichtfarbe vom Bereich 2700K-4000K herunter in den Bereich von 1500K-1800K verändert werden, wobei KIn Fig. 2 shows a diagram of the main components of the light system or the lamp with the associated programmable logic controller. The supplied by the power supply with AC (AC) operating device 2 supplies the LED module 3 with DC (DC) and dimming the LED module 3 by means of a pulse width modulation (PWM dimming) 13. The LED module 3 consists of at least two different colored LED chains 11, 12 and their control electronics 9, 10, which take over the generation of the pulse width modulation and the output of the corresponding signals 13 to the LED chains 11,12. The programmable logic controller (PLC, as controlling unit) 8 of the LED module 3 continuously detects the secondary PWM signal 6 generated by the operating device 2 in order to determine the current dimming state of the operating device 2. On the basis of the detected dimming state, the power provided by the operating device 2 is divided specifically into one or more LED channels 11, 12. The blending or the ratio of the power distribution to the individual channels is based on the stored in the programmable logic controller (PLC) 8 dimming curve, which controls the control electronics 9,10 and by means of controlling PWM signal 13 is capable of multiple LED channels simultaneously to regulate. By using different colored LED channels 11,12 thus not only the light intensity, but also the mixed light color can be specifically mixed. For example, the light color can be changed from the 2700K-4000K range to the 1500K-1800K range, where K
