Abstract
The watch heads are tested for proper functioning in a finished state prior to the laying of the strap. Unfortunately, it is common for watch heads to be injured or damaged during these tests because of improper handling, which generates significant costs at this stage of manufacture. The invention relates to a device for placing and handling without risk of injury or damage to a watch head. The watch head (2) is placed freely in the shuttle (1) and must then be properly secured for its handling. To achieve this objective, the shuttle (1) has a deformable lamella (4) which bears against the watch head (2). The movement of the deformable lamella (4) is carried out by a stud (5) having a conical portion (7) pressing against the deformable lamella (4). The action of screwing or unscrewing the stud (5) enables the release of the watch head in the shuttle, respectively. The invention makes it possible to position and handle the watch head by overcoming the aforementioned problems. The invention relates to the field of horology.
Claims (2)
- Description [0001] Handling of the watch head (TDM) in the watchmaking medium is always problematic. The CT is the condition of the watch before the bracelet is placed. The CT already has a functional watch movement and is therefore finished in a perfect aesthetic state. Thus any handling of a CT at this stage of manufacture is likely to scratches, wounds or other undesirable effects which will necessarily necessitate alterations and therefore additional costs. This invention makes it possible to handle a CT by avoiding the aforementioned problems. [0002] The invention consists of a shuttle (1) allowing the safe handling of a CT (2). The principle is to use the shuttle (1) provided with an impression (3) to guarantee the precise position of the CT (2). The shuttle (1) has a deformable blade (4) which allows the attachment of the CT (2). This lamella (4) is deformed by means of a stud (5) screwed into an insert (6). The stud (5) has on its lower part a conical zone (7) which presses on the lamella allowing its separation. [0004] This invention allows a rapid and safe installation of the CT (2) as well as a handling of the latter without contact and therefore without the risk of damage or scratches. - 1.
