Description

Diese Stufen behindern oft aber die Wanderung von Fischen und anderen Wasserorganismen. Um dieses Problem zu lösen sind verschiedene Arten von Fischpässen bekannt. Ihre Bauweise macht sie aber besonders teuer, da sie entweder in der Form eines Umgehungsgewässers eine grosse Bodenfläche beanspruchen oder wie bei aufgelösten Blockrampen massive bauliche Änderungen an der Stufe selbst nötig machen. In gewissen Fällen wie z.B. in einem Dorfkern sind Umgehungsgewässer aufgrund von Sachzwängen nicht möglich. In anderen Fällen wie zum Beispiel temporären Hindernissen sind teure bauliche Massnahmen wegen der hohen Kosten nicht angemessen. Nachdem die kinetische Energie des Wassers im Kanal durch Elemente 5 wie geschlitzte Platten oder Bürsten reduziert wurde, fliesst es durch den Wasser-Ablauf 3 ins Unterwasser.
