[0001] Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Heissgasschweissen von Kunststoffteilen, bei dem die miteinander zu verschweissenden Bereiche der Kunststoffteile nach Erhitzen auf Schweisstemperatur gegeneinandergepresst werden. The invention relates to a method for hot gas welding of plastic parts, in which the areas to be welded together of the plastic parts are pressed against each other after heating to welding temperature.
[0002] Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein insbesondere für die automatisierte Zusammenfügung und Verschweissung geeignetes Verfahren zu finden das mit geringerem Zeitaufwand und somit erhöhter Produktivität ausführbar ist. Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe erfolgt erfindungsgemäss aufgrund der kennzeichnenden Merkmale des Patentanspruchs. Diese hat die Aufgabe die beim Heissgassverschweissen mit dem Gegenflansch bestimmte Oberfläche für die Wärmeübertragung wesentlich zu vergrössern, so dass in Kontakt mit dem von einem Heissgasschweissgerät zugeführten Heissgas in kürzerer Zeit eine für die Materialverschweissung ausreichende Menge an Wärmeenergie in das Kunststoffmaterial eingeleitet wird. Beim anschliessenden Zusammenpressen der Flanschfläche mit derjenigen des Gegenflansches wird die Profilierung der Flanschfläche flachgepresst, so dass die Verschweissung an einer sich dabei vergrössernden Fläche erfolgt.
