Abstract

The method involves welding plastic parts with one another, and pressing regions of the plastic parts against each other after heating at welding temperature. The regions are provided with a profile (4), which increases a surface of the respective plastic parts. The profile is formed by ribs running parallel to each other, where a cross section of the profile is outwardly tapered and run outwardly. A connecting flange (1) of a plastic housing (2) is provided at a flange surface (3) with the profile, where the flange surface is provided for a welded joint with a corresponding counter flange.

Beim anschliessenden Zusammenpressen der Flanschfläche mit derjenigen des Gegenflansches wird die Profilierung der Flanschfläche flachgepresst, so dass die Verschweissung an einer sich dabei vergrössernden Fläche erfolgt.
