Abstract

The plastic rod has two regions including different rigidities in a longitudinal direction along a longitudinal axis. The regions are connected with each other by adhesives, welds or combination of adhesives and welds using a heating process and a moving process e.g. vibration process and ultrasound process. The regions are formed by spraying different granulates using an injection molding process. The plastic rod is made of polycarbonate urethane. Plates and reflectors are used in the heating process.
