Je nach Baugrösse deckt das Schlauchquetschventil einen Bereich von verschiedenen Schlauchdurchmessern ab, ohne dass dabei technische Anpassungen (z.B. Adapter oder Formatteile) am Ventil anfallen. Dies, weil je nach Anwendung und zu dosierendem Medium Schlauchmaterial und -dimensionen (Durchmesser/ Wandstärke) variieren können. Das Schlauchquetschventil kann direkt an einen medienführenden Schlauch angefügt werden, ohne dass dieser dazu unterbrochen werden muss (z.B. durch ein Zwischenstück). So kommt das Ventil nie mit dem zu dosierenden Medium in Berührung. Für die eigentliche Funktion des Schlauchquetschventils ist dessen Einbaulage irrelevant.
