<tb>la fig. 1<sep>mostra una prima forma di realizzazione del sistema di gestione di carichi elettrici secondo la presente invenzione;
<tb>la fig. 2<sep>mostra una seconda forma di realizzazione del sistema mostrato in fig. 1;
<tb>le fig. 3 e 4<sep>mostrano tabelle di commutazione di prese sui trasformatori rispettivamente corrispondenti alle forme di realizzazione delle fig. 1 e 2;
<tb>la fig. 5<sep>mostra schematicamente un diagramma di flusso semplificato relativamente al sistema di funzionamento secondo la presente invenzione;
<tb>la fig. 6<sep>mostra schematicamente un diagramma di flusso semplificato relativamente ad operazioni di misura e stabilizzazione di tensione per il sistema secondo la presente invenzione;
[0021] I suddetti contatti Y1, Z1, Z1 ¾,
[0001] The present invention relates to a system for managing electrical loads, in particular lighting elements.
[0002] More particularly, the present invention is directed to a system of the aforementioned type, aimed at saving electricity especially in a pre-established time range, for example during the period of activation of the street lighting.
[0003] In the evening, when people find themselves on the street for shopping or walking or driving, they require artificial street lighting to be at a predetermined level.
[0004] After a certain time such a high light intensity is no longer required since the traffic is pedestrian and vehicular is extremely reduced if not almost canceled.
In some places one or two lamps out of three are turned off after midnight in order to save energy and reduce light pollution. This can lead to a saving of 50-60% of electrical energy, but creates numerous drawbacks, for example in urban areas that may be too dark with easily understandable safety problems.
Even more dangerous can be the stroboscopic effect on the drivers for the passage in rapid succession in illuminated areas and in dark areas.
[0005] According to the present invention, a voltage regulator / regulator is provided for each phase of the lighting system having transformers as a control / stabilization component equipped with a multiplicity of sockets on the secondary associated with a set of switch for switching the sockets. , controlled by a microprocessor, the voltage ratios on the sockets being selected so as to provide a multiplicity of output voltage levels in a number higher than that of the switching switches,
the microprocessor being equipped with a software memory and a real-time clock for controlling one or more adjustment / stabilization time bands.
[0006] Still according to the present invention, it is possible to carry out an autonomous and diversified management of each of the various phases, independently of each other.
This possibility has many advantages both in terms of optimization of energy savings and in terms of operating economy.
[0007] According to a second embodiment, the use of an autotransformer is provided for feeding the individual lighting elements, the winding of the autotransformer being provided with two sets of sockets which can be switched as shown with reference to the first embodiment.
[0008] In common with the first and second embodiments, means are provided for detecting anomalies of individual lighting points,
and the microprocessor is provided with a communication port capable of interfacing with a similar communication port of a cellular telephone or other transmission system arranged for this type of operation.
[0009] According to a further aspect of the present invention the microprocessor is associated, together with the cellular telephone or the like of an internet SMS subsystem, the degree to modify if and when deemed necessary by the system manager the application software of the microprocessor, thus allowing way of obtaining greater operational flexibility with respect to systems using a microprocessor and a single resident firmware which can be modified only by local reprogramming for each microprocessor,
which requires manual intervention involving labor and time and money.
[0010] Other aspects and features of the present invention will become clear from the following detailed description and with reference to the figures of the attached drawings, in which:

fig. 8 <sep> shows an example of switching operation of various sockets of a transformer, or of an autotransformer.
[0011] With reference to the drawings, in fig. 1 a first embodiment of the system according to the present invention will be described.
[0012] The heart of the system consists of a microprocessor or controller 1, whose functions will be described in detail below.
[0013] A supply source in alternating current 2 is provided, corresponding for example to the phases S, T for the distribution of electrical energy.
[0014] The output of the circuit indicated with 3 reaches the load to be controlled consisting of lamps for example of street lighting or other loads,
according to the user's needs.
[0015] An inductive sensor 4 for monitoring the current absorption balance on the two power supply wires 2 is arranged on the power supply line 2.
[0016] Any unbalancing can be indicative of malfunctions or dispersions on the ground or towards the neutral and its output signal reaches an input N of the microprocessor 1.
[0017] As can be seen from the diagram shown in fig. 1, the terminal 2a of the supply 2 arrives directly at the line 3a towards the line 3 of the loads.
[0018] The terminal 2b reaches the circuitry present on the right of the same scheme shown in fig. 1 in order to modulate the voltage present on the line 3b, which through the bipolar switch M1 will be switched on or off on line 3 of the loads.
[0019] As can be seen in fig.
1, there is provided a switch L1 controlled by the microprocessor 1 arranged so that, if necessary, the line 2b is connected directly to the line 3b excluding any intervention.
[0020] In the event that the switch L1 is in the active condition, ie with the movable contact L2 in contact with the contact L3, the line L4 will be interrupted and the primary winding P1 of a transformer T1 having operation will start. a secondary S1 equipped with a multiplicity of sockets P1, Q1, A1, B1, C1, D1, E1, F1, G1, H1, which can be switched with switches indicated as a whole with K10, K11 to reach the contacts Y1, Z1 , Z1 ¾, Y1 ¾.
[0021] The aforementioned contacts Y1, Z1, Z1 ¾,
Y1 ¾ reach the secondary S1 ¾ of a second transformer T1 ¾ whose primary is connected in series with the primary P1 of the transformer T1.
[0022] The microprocessor 1 through the lines MP1, MP2, MP3, MP4 controls the switches Y1, Z1, Z1 ¾, Y1 ¾ and the banks of switches K10, K11.
[0023] By a careful selection of the turns in the sockets of the secondary S1 and by switching the contacts Y1, Z1, Z1 ¾, Y1 ¾, it is possible to obtain a multiplicity of voltage values to be applied to the lines 3 of the load, so As illustrated schematically, by way of example, in the Table shown in fig. 3.
[0024] The microprocessor 1 monitors the voltage present on the lines 3a, 3b with the inputs U1, V1.
An O1 input monitors the current flowing in the loads through a sensor 10.
[0025] The microprocessor 1 is associated with a display 11, a keyboard with four keys 12, an ambient light sensor 13 and a calendar clock 14.
[0026] The various functions managed by the microprocessor 1 will be illustrated below with reference to the flow diagrams.
[0027] With reference to fig. 2, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described, in which parts corresponding to those of fig. 1 will be indicated with the same reference numbers and will not be further described in detail.
[0028] In the embodiment of fig.
2, a single AT1 autotransformer is provided, having a single winding AV equipped with a first junction of sockets PS1 and a second group of sockets PS2, associated respectively with the first with contacts A ... H and the second with contacts P; Q; Y; Z.
[0029] With appropriate switching of contacts A ...
H and P, Q, Y, Z through the control line C1 of the microprocessor 1, it will be possible to obtain a plurality of transfer ratios indicated in the Table of fig. 4.
[0030] As is clear to a person skilled in the art, the microprocessor 1 is provided with a memory, for example of the EEPROM type, containing both the basic firmware and the application software for the various operating configurations of the system.
[0031] According to the invention, since the information content of an EEPROM is easily modifiable purely by electrical means and for a practically indeterminate number of times, it is envisaged that the individual devices such as those described with reference to Figs.
1 and 2 are associated with a data transmission system to and from a central unit responsible for managing any number of peripheral units that include the microprocessor 1.
[0032] In a preferred embodiment, the data transmission system between the peripheral units and the central unit is carried out by means of cellular telephony with data transcription capability.
[0033] With the ongoing evolution of cellular telephony in large part already realized, it is possible to foresee that the exchange of data between peripheral equipment and the central unit takes place by means of SMS technology.
[0034] In this way it is possible to exchange data at high speed and with a volume of information that is more than sufficient for the purposes of the present invention, at extremely reduced costs.
[0035] In figs
5 and 6 are represented respectively the flow charts of the basic program and of the measurement and stabilization program.
[0036] It is believed that a person skilled in the art is able to correctly interpret the operating modes of these flowcharts, so that the detailed description thereof is omitted.
[0037] In fig. 7 shows the switching algorithm arranged to avoid flicker of light during the switching of the sockets on the transformers or on the autotransformers during their switching for the stabilization of the supply voltage of the loads.
[0038] In fig. 8 shows an example in which contacts P, B, Y are active which must pass to the configuration in which contacts Q, A, Y are active.
In the area shown in the dotted line in fig. 8 shows a time interval exemplified by 30 milliseconds, in which all five contacts are simultaneously active.
[0039] In the previous description the various contacts both in line and on the sockets of the transformer or autotransformer are indicated with the usual representations of the contacts of an electromechanical relay.
[0040] It is clear to a person skilled in the art that these types of controllable contacts can be made by means other than the classic electromechanical relays.
In fact, there is a multiplicity of solid-state components which perform the same functions as the electromechanical relays with greater reliability and ease of driving with the signals coming from the output ports of a microprocessor.
[0041] The fact that the system of the present invention makes it possible to carry out an autonomous and diversified management of each of the various phases, independently of each other takes the form of obtaining numerous advantages both in terms of optimization of energy savings and of cost-effectiveness of management.
[0042] By way of example, in fact it is thus possible to use diversified loads managed on the different phases with consequent optimization of energy savings.
In the same way, in the case of systems that have a considerable length, the connection of the last part to a different phase with respect to the preceding parts allows substantial savings on the initial part. Furthermore, opting for the use of slight differences in the light emissions of the different lamps of the system, differences that are not even perceived by the eye, allows an increase in energy savings.
[0043] Finally, the fact that according to the system of the present invention it is possible to deactivate one or more phases independently and autonomously from the others allows both an energy saving for the use only of the necessary phases, and to carry out maintenance or repair of a single sector in case of failure or other.
[0044] The present invention has been described with reference to its currently preferred embodiments,
but it will be understood that variations and modifications may be made in practice by an expert in the field without departing from the scope of protection of the present industrial patent.
