[0001] Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Bügelstation mit einer auf einen Arbeitstisch absenkbaren Pressplatte.
[0002] Bügelstationen für den professionellen Einsatz sind in verschiedenster Ausführung seit langem bekannt. Fast immer ist die Pressplatte mittels eines Schwenkmechanismus um eine horizontale Achse auf den Arbeitstisch schwenkbar. Die Schwenkbewegung kann auch mittels eines Antriebs erfolgen, wobei dieser durch einen Schalter oder durch ein Fusspedal betätigt werden kann. Die professionellen Bügelstationen sind jedoch aufgrund ihrer Konstruktion in keiner Weise für private Haushalte geeignet. Hierfür wurden beispielsweise kleinere Tischmodelle entwickelt, die auf einen normalen Esstisch stellbar sind und kofferartig geöffnet und zum Pressen manuell geschlossen werden müssen. Das eingelegte Bügelgut wird durch Niederdrücken des Deckels gepresst.
Diese Geräte sind jedoch nicht sehr befriedigend, so dass im Haushalt üblicherweise auf die bekannten, mit einem Klappgestell versehenen Bügeltische zurückgegriffen wird. Das Bügeln erfolgt mittels eines normalen Bügeleisens, was in der Regel zeitraubend und anstrengend ist.
[0003] Auf der Grundlage dieser Erkenntnisse setzt sich die Erfindung die Aufgabe, eine Bügelstation mit einer auf einen Arbeitstisch absenkbaren Pressplatte zu schaffen, die insbesondere auch für den privaten Haushalt und für kleinere Wäschereien oder Textilfirmen geeignet ist.
[0004] Die erfindungsgemässe Bügelstation entspricht den kennzeichnenden Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1.
Weitere vorteilhafte Ausbildungen des Erfindungsgedankens sind aus den abhängigen Patentansprüchen ersichtlich.

[0006] Die Bügelstation weist gemäss Fig. 1 einen Arbeitstisch 1 auf. Dieser ist an einer Säule 2 angeordnet. In der Säule 2 ist ein die Pressplatte 3 tragendes Element 4 vertikal verschiebbar geführt. Das Bügeln bzw. Pressen erfolgt durch vertikales Absenken 5 der Pressplatte 3 auf das auf dem Arbeitstisch 1 liegende Bügelgut. Das Absenken 5 erfolgt vorzugsweise mittels eines Antriebs, der von einem Fusspedal 6 aus betätigbar ist.
[0007] Das lineare Verschieben des die Pressplatte 3 tragenden Elementes 4, im vorliegenden Fall ein Metallrohr, kann auf für Linearantriebe auf technisch bekannte Weise erfolgen, sei es elektromechanisch, pneumatisch, hydraulisch und/oder unter Zuhilfenahme einer mechanischen Feder als Antrieb.
Das Fusspedal 6 ist vorteilhaft so ausgelegt, dass dessen Niederdrücken das Absenken 5 der Pressplatte 3 bewirkt, während dessen Loslassen das Anheben der Pressplatte 3 auslöst. In weitergehender Ausbildung kann das Fusspedal 6 und/oder der Antrieb oder eine Steuerung so ausgelegt werden, dass die Stärke des Anpressdruckes der Pressplatte 3 vom jeweiligen Druck auf das Fusspedal abhängt.
[0008] Die Bügelstation kann mit den üblichen Funktionen versehen sein. Insbesondere wird die Pressplatte 3 über entsprechende Mittel 7 beheizt und es ist eine Sprüh- und/oder eine Dampfeinrichtung 8 vorgesehen. Letztere steht mit einem an der Säule 2 lösbar angeordneten Wasserbehälter 9 in Verbindung.
Die Leitungen können von der Säule 2, die als Gehäuse ausgebildet ist, durch das Innere des rohrförmigen Elementes 4 direkt in die Pressplatte 3 oder durch eine diese tragende Strebe 10 geführt werden. An der Säule 2 ist ein Bedienungsfeld 11 vorgesehen, an dem die Bügelstation ein- und ausgeschaltet und die gewünschten Funktionen gewählt werden können. Dabei könnte auch eine automatische Funktion vorgesehen sein, bei der ein Sprühen oder ein Dampfstoss selbsttätig bei der Abwärtsbewegung der Pressplatte 3 erfolgt.
[0009] Die Pressplatte 3, bzw. die Strebe 10, ist vorzugsweise um eine vertikale Achse 12 in Pfeilrichtung 13 drehbar am Element 4 angeordnet. Dadurch kann die Pressplatte 3, beispielsweise zum bequemeren Auflegen grösseren Bügelgutes, weggeschwenkt werden.
Dieses Wegschwenken kann darüber hinaus auch dazu dienen, die Pressplatte 3 nach Beendigung der Bügelarbeit, zwecks platzsparender Unterbringung der Bügelstation, aus dem Weg zu schwenken. Denkbar ist es hierzu auch, an der Pressplatte 3 und/oder der Strebe 10 ein Scharnier 14 vorzusehen, wodurch die Pressplatte 3 gemäss Pfeil 15 nach unten weggeklappt werden kann.
[0010] Eine entsprechende Klappausbildung ist auch am Arbeitstisch 1 möglich. Durch ein Scharnier 16 kann dieser nach Wegschwenken oder Entfernen der Stütze 17 in Pfeilrichtung 18 ebenfalls weggeklappt werden. Darüber hinaus wäre es auch denkbar, den Fuss 19 über ein Scharnier 20 gemäss Pfeil 21 nach oben schwenkbar zu gestalten.
Es versteht sich von selbst, dass die verschiedenen Klappmöglichkeiten mit Rastmitteln zur Sicherung der Öffnungs- und Schliessstellung versehen sein müssen.
[0011] Die Säule 2 und der Fuss 19 können an einem auch der Kippstabilität dienenden Fussgestell oder Sockel 22 angeordnet sein. Nach Wegklappen der Pressplatte 3, des Arbeitstisches 1 und des Fusses 19 weist die Bügelstation nur noch die Tiefe 23 dieses Sockels 22 auf. Sie kann somit sehr platzsparend untergebracht werden. Um die Bügelstation verschieben zu können, ist es ferner denkbar, das Fussgestell oder den Sockel 22 mit Rollen 24 zu versehen.
[0012] Wie nach Fig. 2 angedeutet, ist es auch möglich, die Säule 25 hinten, an der Längsseite des Arbeitstisches anzuordnen.
Die am in der Säule 25 vertikal verschiebbaren Element 26 angeordnete Strebe 27 ist in diesem Fall vorzugsweise mit zwei Armen 28 und 29 versehen, die die Pressplatte 30 tragen. Ansonsten entspricht diese Ausführung weitgehend derjenigen nach Fig. 1.
[0013] Es liegt im Rahmen der Erfindung nach Anspruch 1 die Bügelstation im Einzelnen auch anders auszubilden als anhand der Zeichnungen beschrieben. So kann beispielsweise die Säule 2 eine andere Form haben. Ebenso der Arbeitstisch 1 und die Pressplatte 3. Ferner könnte, wie die Pressplatte 3, auch der Arbeitstisch 1 entsprechend der Pfeilrichtung 13 schwenkbar an der Säule 2 gelagert sein. Darüber hinaus könnte der Arbeitstisch 1 höhenverstellbar sein. Das Fusspedal 6 könnte, eine elektrische Ausbildung vorausgesetzt, losgelöst und mit der Säule 2 nur über ein Kabel verbunden sein.
Auch könnte, bei entsprechend grösserer Bodenabstützung der Stütze 17, eventuell auf den Fuss 19 verzichtet werden.
[0014] In jedem Fall ist die Pressfläche fünf- bis zehnmal grösser als die eines herkömmlichen Bügeleisens. Die Bügelarbeit kann im Sitzen ausgeführt werden. Die Hände bleiben frei. Die Arbeitszeit und die einzusetzende Kraft werden erheblich verringert. Dadurch kann die Bügelarbeit schnell, effizient und mühelos durchgeführt werden.

On the basis of these findings, the invention has the object to provide an ironing station with a lowerable on a worktable press plate, which is particularly suitable for the private household and for smaller laundries or textile companies.
The inventive ironing station corresponds to the characterizing features of claim 1.

The ironing station has according to FIG. 1 on a work table 1. This is arranged on a column 2. In column 2, a press plate 3 supporting element 4 is guided vertically displaceable. The ironing or pressing takes place by vertical lowering 5 of the press plate 3 on the lying on the work table 1 ironing. The lowering 5 is preferably carried out by means of a drive which can be actuated by a foot pedal 6.
The linear displacement of the pressure plate 3 supporting element 4, in the present case a metal tube, can be done on linear drives in a technically known manner, be it electromechanically, pneumatically, hydraulically and / or with the aid of a mechanical spring as a drive.
The foot pedal 6 is advantageously designed so that its depression causes the lowering 5 of the press plate 3, while releasing it triggers the lifting of the press plate 3. In a further development of the foot pedal 6 and / or the drive or a controller can be designed so that the strength of the contact pressure of the pressure plate 3 depends on the respective pressure on the foot pedal.
The ironing station can be provided with the usual functions. In particular, the pressing plate 3 is heated via corresponding means 7 and it is a spray and / or a steam device 8 is provided. The latter is connected to a detachably arranged on the column 2 water tank 9 in connection.
The lines can be led from the column 2, which is designed as a housing, through the interior of the tubular element 4 directly into the pressing plate 3 or by a strut 10 carrying it. On the column 2, a control panel 11 is provided, on which the ironing station on and off and the desired functions can be selected. In this case, an automatic function could be provided, in which a spraying or a steam shock occurs automatically during the downward movement of the press plate 3.
The press plate 3, or the strut 10, is preferably arranged about a vertical axis 12 in the direction of arrow 13 rotatably mounted on the element 4. As a result, the press plate 3, for example, for more comfortable laying larger items to be swung away.
This pivoting away can also serve to pivot the press plate 3 after completion of ironing work, for the purpose of space-saving accommodation of the ironing station, out of the way. It is also conceivable for this purpose to provide a hinge 14 on the pressure plate 3 and / or the strut 10, as a result of which the pressure plate 3 can be folded downwards in accordance with arrow 15.
A corresponding Klappausbildung is also possible on the work table 1. By a hinge 16 this can also be folded away after Wegschwenken or removing the support 17 in the direction of arrow 18. In addition, it would also be possible to make the foot 19 pivotable about a hinge 20 according to arrow 21.
It goes without saying that the various folding options must be provided with locking means to secure the opening and closing position.
The column 2 and the foot 19 may be arranged on a also the tilt stability serving pedestal or base 22. After folding away the press plate 3, the work table 1 and the foot 19, the ironing station only has the depth 23 of this base 22. It can thus be accommodated very space-saving. In order to move the ironing station, it is also conceivable to provide the pedestal or the base 22 with rollers 24.
As indicated in Fig. 2, it is also possible to arrange the column 25 behind, on the long side of the work table.
The arranged on the column 25 vertically displaceable member 26 strut 27 is preferably provided in this case with two arms 28 and 29 which carry the press plate 30. Otherwise, this embodiment largely corresponds to that of FIG. 1.
It is within the scope of the invention according to claim 1, the ironing station in detail also form differently than described with reference to the drawings.
